I get my fish and chips there most weeks, and have done for years; the best around! Very nice fish and chip and real pork sausages in batter!

Good little hidden gem we found today while out walking with my 3 boys. Lovely large portion of cod and chips with plenty of salt and vinegar. Welcoming and friendly staff. Will no longer go anywhere else.

Wow what a place, this is by far the best fish and chips for miles, these lovely polite people never got greedy from lockdown, the food is outstanding along with lovely size portions, and prices that have never risen My wife goes every week without fail for us and her family. There isn’t many of these places about anymore, please keep doing what your doing and watch your queues grow massively. Thanks for a great service.

Visited this evening and welcomed by lovely owners/staff. Went for Large Cod & Chips and Curry Sauce. My food was Boshhhh i.e delicious, good quality flaky cod with crunchy batter and plenty of salt & vinegar on my Fat Chips! This place will be my go to for Fish n Chips in Dagenham , just loved the food served here, in comparison to others in the area this Chippy is fabulous and worthwhile to visit.

Me and my daughter order from here all the time. The food is delicious. The staff are welcoming and friendly. And as we're regular customers the owner likes to give our dog 1 or 2 treats at closing time. Such a kind man.

It is a very nice, calm and fantastic college no disobedience, no discrimination, no bullying all the teachers and staff are kind and straight forward. Every one minds their own business and focuses on their own work. Yh I love the college its sweet and nice.

Visited after seeing good reviews on here, not disappointed, excellent food and a really friendly owner as well, great stuff.

Firstly there are 2 tripadvisor reviews of the seahorse the first gave 1* obviously they are use to chip shops that sell kebabs. The second gave 4.5* this is where my vote goes. I have recommend other people to this shop and they go back...

What a great place for fish and chips, just how they used to be without the newspaper.... Freshly cooked fish with crispy coating and a flaky flesh. Cooked to perfection, with no excess grease. Chips were hot and tasty, not greasy, a well portioned size. This place had been here 50+ years which goes to show how good it is. Highly recommended with very competitive prices....

Always fresh.a little over priced. Sausages in better are lovely. Chips tend to be crispy not fluffy. But decent enough for a chippy.

Chips shop is decent ashame about the staff a customer came in and simply asked a question and how rude the lady was behind the counter when the customer left is unbelievable maybe some training in customer care should be on the cards.

Lovely fish and chips. Luckily my local. Can improve.. Would be nicer if they had a better shop front and did large and normal chips rather than the one portion they only do. Plus it would be more pleasant if the fried fishs were not placed on the fryer lid. It's not a hygiene issue but just not a pleasant site. A basket would be better. And like many independent businesses, customer service can be heavily improved. The people are lovely but would do their business a massive favour by this one fact that well established businesses know and heavily invest on as it brings in customers and their willing to spend regularly with loyalty.

Absolutely awful no choice on chip sizes and always cold. Staff rude and the food is absolutely tasteless maybe could do with a change of oil.

Been going here for as long as I remember, and can comfortably say it's one of the best fish and chip shops I've ever been to. The chips are the lightest, fluffiest things you'll ever eat, and the fish is always fresh. Portion sizes are a tad on the small side, so it's not always the best value takeaway, but what you do get is amazing. I read an interview with some fishmongers on Billingsgate market, and a couple of them recommended Seahorse because apparently they always make sure everything they sell is fresh. Make of that what you will.

Great take away for fish and Chips. Also pies and other such food is very good and reasonably priced. can get busy as it has won many awards for its food. Recommended. Seating area is a bit small, especially if you eat alot of chips...

We think this is the best fish and chip shop in the area. Chips are always nice and tasty and the fish is always fresh and delicious - the cod is really white not a funny grey colour like you get in some other fish and chip shops. I would highly recommend Seahorse - may not be the cheapest but you know the saying - you get what you pay for!

Always lovely to eat from here. Fish is freshly friend so you know it hasn't been sitting there all day, they also do a fresh fish counter. I love their chips rolls and curry sauce. A bit slow with the service but recommended fish and...
