Seafresh Fish Restaurant in City of London, Westminster

It is beautifully decorated and the food is delicious, the portions are very big and the service is very friendly. I’ll come come back for sure!

This restaurant is ‘ok’ - had lunch there today - fittings are a bit sad - seats are in a poor state - I think the owners have been here for years - had prawn cocktail which was poor due to the salad part being poor quality - and brown bread very poor quality - cod chips and mushy peas very good - nicely cooked and tasty although could have been a bit hotter and a larger portion - the service by the lone waiter was great he wore a peaked cap very basque like - but dealt with a lot of tourists in different languages and was polite and helpful -

It's definitely the best seafood restaurant in London. The fish & chips were crispy and delicious. Service was topnotch. The restaurant ambiance is great for groups and families. I will definitely come back.

Tasty, fresh food. There's no need to wait in long queues.

So disappointing! This used to be the best fish and chip restaurant in London. No longer. Service was dreadful. Ordered oysters to start followed by cod and chips. Cod and chips arrived, waiter forgot oysters even though we were the only people in the restaurant. Too busy playing on his mobile phone. Cod and chips not like they used to be, very average. Maybe restaurant has changed hands. Won't go back.

En suivant les conseils du guide du Routard, nous sommes venus dans ce restaurant pour le fish & chips ("les" fish & chips car le plat est décliné à la carte avec plusieurs sortes de filets de poissons). Nous avons opté pour le plus traditionnel et beaucoup apprécié la fraîcheur des produits. Les portions sont plus que généreuses ! Très bonne expérience ! Ajoutons à cela les desserts très recommandables pour les gourmands ! Service très sympathique. Le manager du lieu lie facilement la conversation... Nous avons fait la fermeture ce midi-là en écoutant Enrico Macias, son chanteur préféré !!

Menderes brother and his staff were very good, they say they sing Turkish folk songs, we felt the Turkish hospitality to the fullest, it is definitely a place I will come back to when we come to London again.

I've been eating at Seafresh for a number of years. Staff always friendly and food is exceptional portions just the right amount. I ate the evidence by the time I wrote this review, so the dessert homemade Cheesecake was yummy. So if you're near Victoria, why not drop in.

In London in der Victoria Station angekommen haben wir uns auf Fish and Chips gefreut und sind hier fündig geworden. Es waren mehrere Fischsorten auf der Karte . Es hat ausgezeichnet geschmeckt und der Service war super.

Muy mal! Reservamos el día antes para cenar en nochevieja a las 21h, nos dijeron OK. Cuando llegamos a cenar, el camarero bastante desagradable nos informa que cerraran a las 22h. Cuando acabamos el plato principal, nos traen ya la cuenta, sin opción de postre ni café. Y ninguna disculpa..Muy mal.

Perfect best fish and chips ever, we had skate and haddock with super chips, SUPERB.Lovely glass of wine and a tea, under £60 we will definitely be back and very highly recommend

Excellent food, service excepcional

The food was okay, but the server and manager were rude from beginning to end. We thought it was just us, but we heard the manager being rude to other customers around us, too. To be fair the fish and chips serving was huge and we thought it tasted good (but we’re definitely not fish and chips aficionados). They were willing to accommodate my daughter’s request to have a seafood-free meal, but not without some attitude about it first. If you don’t mind enduring rudeness for descent food then give it a try.

Decent fish and chips. Wouldn't say its the best. But better than any London pub. Very clean restaurant. U don't come out smelling like a chippy Its expensive. But what isn't. I couldn't have this weekly. Service was very slow. Took ages to get food. Which I don't mind as long as I'm told before We have a 1 hour lunch break. Waiting over 30 mnns was too long. Mushy peas. I found bland Very little tartar sauce given I will return if I have craving and time

Bland food and poor service. I ordered fish, and it tasted like fish fillets that had been taken out of the freezer and directly fried in oil without any preparation and cooking at all.

Went for dinner tonight in a group of 4. Waiter was disinterested. Almost walked off without taking full order. When order came there was an entire half lobster missing. When we asked, were told it was coming. Asked again was told ‘yes yes’ again. Then told the waiter missed one meal off the ticket. No real apology and nothing done to compensate. Shame as the food was nice. Atmosphere was a little cold. When we left did not receive any courtesy. The waiter acted annoyed even though it was his mess up. Will not return based on poor service. Feel bad complaining but when you’re paying so much money you don’t expect this service

Very awful service, the waiter put up a long face(12% service charge) ....with low quality food. My uni 6€ meal is even better than their 20£ fish.

Quick service and delectable food .But somehow, if you order the half lobster, we did not get the claw? So if you eat there make sure to ask if you order the half lobster fare. If you are tired of the same chicken or steak dining, then this place is a fresh take on seafood.

The scallop appetizer and toffee pudding dessert were tasty. However, service was on the slow side. The restaurant became busy while we were there and I believe was understaffed. We were surprised that the side of bread was just two pieces of plain grocery store white bread covered with butter (like a butter sandwich). Overall, our experience at this restaurant was ok but not remarkable.

Without a doubt the worst Fish and Chips I have ever had. Not just in the UK, but anywhere. Fish was thin, batter soggy, fish tasted "off", chips were lukewarm and soggy, mushy peas were tasteless, as was the curry sauce. On top of that it was expensive. I would never go back, unless it changed hands and the food was improved drastically.

This used to be a go-to local chippy but, despite a good and welcome refurbishment, it's somehow lost its lustre. It's expensive for fish and chips and, these days, not really any better than average pub grub. Service was slow and edged towards surly when I questioned this.

This restaurant wasn't too difficult to find in Victoria. Staff customer service skills were very good. Didn't have to wait longer than 15 minutes for my order

For two scampi meals , soggy untoasted buttered toast . Two sprite and two coffees . The bill came to £ 67.90. They only offered. Untoasted buttered toast . They should at least offered bread rolls with the meal.

Local moderno, tranquilo y con música de blues de fondo. La atención del camarero impecable, hablaba castellano y como queríamos probar los famosos fish and chips de Londres nos recomendó el bacalao y la merluza, estaban espectaculares, las piezas de pescado enormes, no te quedas con hambre, de postre una tarta de manzana casera buenísima, la cerveza inglesa también genial. Además sin problema de horario porque no cierran a medio día.

I had the Grilled Skate. Now I know I don't like grilled skate. It was mushy. The potatoes came luke warm. By the time I started eating them they were cooled. The small salad was probably from a bag and certainly not fresh. Service nothing special. They charge a +12% surcharge. What's with that.

Take away was very greasy outside and fish was dry. Very bad meal. Not a representation of English fish and chips. Look elsewhere

Raving reviews from work colleagues meant I had to try Seafresh out. Wasn't left disappointed as the Cod & Chips took me back to the way Fish & Chips were served back in the Mid 90's. Fish battered and fried to Golden crisp perfection. Not Greasy or oily, just right. *Fish and Chips both Fried in separate quality oil ensuring it's suitable for Vegetarians & also Halal **Shop is divided into two units. They have an option to dine in as you would in a restaurant, or have a fast food section next door for a quicker counter service experience with the added comfort of also eating in utilising the breakfast bar type set up complete with high chairs. Price was very reasonable for the location. Many thanks for providing such a warm welcome , excellent service and fantastic food. 👍👍👍👍👍

Ordered the North Sea plaice, seafood chowder and iced tea. First time eating the plaice fish and it was indeed creamy like the menu described. Portion for the fish and chips was large but I wasn’t a huge fan of the mushy peas. Seafood chowder had generous chunks of seafood. Staff were friendly and ambience was relaxing. Great place for fish and chips if you’re in the area.

After reading great reviews my husband and I decided to try this restaurant. We were staying in London for a few days before a cruise out of Southampton and this restaurant was near our hotel. My husband had haddock fish and chips and I had cod with new potatoes. The fish was delicious. We decided to indulge in sticky pudding with sauce and it was delicious. What a great place and the staff were wonderful always checking to make sure everything was perfect and it was.

Likeable place. Friendly people. Steamed mussles are nice, bit creamer than you'd normally get. Fried haddock with mushy peas was good. Well made. Little less emphasis on the batter and more on the fish. Good chips. The 80s playlist I didn't mind at all.

Sadly not a pleasant experience at this place, food is not even ur average fish and chips- honestly your corner store fish and chips is probably much better. Because the place is located in central, prices are on the high side. We regretted going here and wish we tried next door instead About Thyme since they had lots of seafood options as well. Mainly annoyed by the fact our food took so long. we ordered the seafood platter amongst other dishes which held all our other plates being served. Had the waiting staff communicated this better with us when we were ordering, that it would take longer initially and if we wanted our plates to come at the same time or separate, then we would have been okay. Also noticed that the waiting stuff had communication issues amongst themselves - they struggled where to place guests and had a delayed service. I get that dinner service can be difficult but just communicate this better please! Wont be coming back and don’t recommend.

We took our 95 year old mother here for her birthday in a wheelchair. We had a starter each and a salad - scampi, tempura prawns, and the guinness mussels - and all were delicious. Lovely service too. Also the music was quiet and just fine for our mother who is hard of hearing. A great place, thank you, we'll come back.

Really nice staff, the best feature of the place. Absolutely basic food for quite a hight price. Not worth it at all. Frankly, to not to come back.
