Sea Kitchen Looe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

This place is great for lunch or evening meals, it has a wonderful view and great tasting food and drinks… A warm and relaxed atmosphere too.

Just wanted to take time out to review the sea kitchen. We have Eaten here several times now in our regular trips to Cornwall and we are never disappointed. The restaurant has a very warm feel about it and Izzy is a great host. The food is very consistent and we always go for the fish dishes which are just excellent. I would highly recommend checking out the sea kitchen on your visit to looe. Plenty of parking or just a short walk ,taxi ride if not staying locally. You will not leave disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, had two courses of the freshest fish, beautifully cooked and presented with the greatest of care. Well priced wine too. My only suggestion would be to replace your ‘tick what’s available menu’ with a daily version, including details of your superb specials. The current version somehow understates the quality of your offerings.

The food and customer service at this restaurant is excellent. Beautiful views. The food is not only cooked to perfection it is presented with care to look as good as it tastes.

A few months since we have been here, but only due to travel distance! It’s not enough to say this place is good! It’s excellent! The staff, the customer service and the standards are high! The open plan kitchen allows you to see the high standards of the kitchen team. Yes they have a menu, and yes not everything is available on it, and whilst I get this may be disappointing they’re ethos seems to be fresh food. Would you want it, if it was frozen? The fish is fresh, that day and sometimes they run out of things. What you are guaranteed is a high level of service and food at more than reasonable prices. Once again credit to Izzy, front of house team, and the kitchen team!

Absolutely brilliant, its just outside of the main town so a bit of a walk from the harbor but well worth it. There is some parking along the road in front if needed but even without i'd make the effort to come here, the seafood chowder was good as was the scallops. To top it all of the lady who served us could not have been better.

Thank you Izzy and your team for a wonderful dining experience. So much choice on offer and the food and wine were most certainly delicious. If you’re looking for a tasty meal with a selection of fresh seafood along with a stunning view definitely recommend.

Just amazing every time we go. Izzy manages a joyous level of personal attention, even at the end of a long summer season - has even rung up to ask if we wanted an outside table instead of the inside one we'd booked, because the sun was unexpectedly shining. Fish is invariably absolutely fresh - just what is available on the market that day. And Max cooks it to perfection - never overdone, never waiting around. Sea trout yesterday that was off the menu list, but in the kitchen, and succulent as only day-boat fish can be. Seasoning dead on, and generous use of saffron and butter. The ambience is just like sitting in a friend's house, with a very attentive host - nothing ridiculously grand, everything done wonderfully, and you feel very welcome. Slightly surprising seeing a few complaints of over-pricing - perhaps they don't understand how expensive good fresh food is to buy nowadays. Far from rip-off prices for this sort of quality. Every friend we've ever taken notes down the details so that they can go again.
