Had lunch here on Sunday. The fish and chips was average, the Seabass dish was far too small for a main course and we had to get more food from the shop afterwards! The staff were very nice though :)

Great place to eat and good food

Not a nice experience. Food was expensive, completely over priced and my chicken was dry and nothing more that a dry chicken shoe insert!

It was mother's day and we were given a glass of bubbly. I had the fish and chips and it was the best I've had in London. Norwegian beer battered haddock, chips & mushy peas and it was delicious. I highly recommend this place, very good service.

Had such a good experience here that my mother and I came back four times! Jaydeep Radadiya was our waiter each time and created a top class dining experience. His professionalism and charisma created a welcoming environment that made us feel at home. Enjoying multiple meals allowed us to try the entire menu and we never found a dish we didn't love!

Went for dinner as it was close to our hotel. Great service and food. Bar and hotel have a very cool vibe. Recommend having the French onion soup and fish and chips were excellent. Make sure you order the sticky toffee pudding you won’t be disappointed!

Mum and I had a lovely time at the Sth Kensington Scoff and Banter. I love the quaintness of this venue - simple yet tasteful decor and wonderful menu. The waiter was very kind and attentive. Our first visit but we are already looking forward to with another very soon.

Perfect for a relaxed early dinner. Service was excellent. Food well cooked and presented. The young man who tended our table was brilliant.

We ate in the bar (it was a Wednesday and the restaurant appeared to be closed), it was a bit soulless and not like the pictures! The food was quite tasty, but there were only a very few, unexciting options. Service was good. Not awful, but I won’t be returning.

Food was spot on and drinks were reasonably priced. Staff helpful and interior was really nicely decorated. The menu is limited but everything is very tasty and looked awesome! Conveniently close to Gloucester Road station too.

Really nice place for lunch away from the crowds of the wonderful Museum area in South Kensington. Food was presented very well and all dishes were of a high standard. Service was just right - not too rushed but they were attentive. Would recommend.

Lovely venue with great service! The food was good, not the best but very good for the price. Located near the tube with a upscale pup type vibe and pleasant ambiance. Cocktails were also nice! 100% recommend.

Popped in here for a quick bite at 5.30, despite having no table booked the waitress gave us a small table. The food was lovely, highly recommend the fish and chips. I believe the cocktails were lovely too. Staff were attentive and polite.

I randomly found this restaurant on google. It ticked all my boxes: British, unique and close to the Royal Albert Hall. The menu was perfect. The vibe was different and the setting was also unique. Overall highly recommend!

1pm lunch….place was dead…only people eating,not much atmosphere

Waitresses lovely but food offering extremely poor with very little choice. Not suitable for people with intolerances as the offering becomes even smaller. We only ended up having starters because of this and they were underwhelming. Overall a very bad experience and would not return or recommend.

Went there with a whole group of 43 people and we really loved it. The manager and the staff took great care of us …the food was lovely and we all had a great evening. Thank you very much.

All the mains and deserts were very good. House white wine wasnt chilled until an ice bucket was brought out. The starter olives were very hard. Very polite staff.

Decent place. Went for the afternoon tea and it was fine but nothing too special. Took a very long time to order (even though it was just afternoon tea and it wasn’t busy). The scones were absolutely superb! Really delicious! But the sandwiches weren’t great… some were freezing cold so obviously just taken out of the fridge and there wasn’t much filling in each sandwich which was a really shame. And considering we paid a 250 quid bill for 4 people I thought it should be a lot better.

Went as a pre-theatre meal. Food was really good, as was the service. It was very good value for money as we got a January discount. I would definitely return.

A “shot in the dark” reservation for a family meal, close to the Albert Hall for a pre-show treat. Lovely ambience, despite not being busy. Menu good, and service very attentive and prompt. No complaints - would go here again. A couple of “plain” main dishes such as the chicken Milanese, steak was good but a little overdone. Veggie wellington a great alternative for the vegetarians. Overall a lovely experience.

Had the January discount which reduced our final bill. Service was polite and prompt, food came at suitable intervals and was very tasty. Sticky toffee pudding was very enjoyable

Good food and a pleasant atmosphere. Menu a little limited but food was excellent quality. There were 5 in our party and all ordered different so a good sample of the foods available. Cooked to a high standard but solely from my personal view a little over salted. That said I would go back again as the staff were all polite friendly and helpful. Great location from Gloucester Tube station and for a pre shop meal at the Albert Hall about 10-15 min walk.

Quiet and chill pub Near Abbey Rd., Studios. Totally worth getting the fish and chips! The staff was great and food was amazing! Must try the Halloumi fries!

Dined solo on New Years Eve with a fixed price set menu. Food was delicious and the service was very prompt and attentive.

Stayed at the Radisson blu for a month and had breakfast here everyday. Also, had a few dinners and drinks. Service is excellent!! People fantastic. Great variety in the breakfast buffet and dinner too. They also carefully catered for my vegan needs. Maheshkumar, Vinayak, Jaymin, Hnin, Cicilia, and Ameya were absolutely amazing at serving me everyday and looking after my family!

This place is good, good but not yet great. The fish was super soft and tasty. The goat cheese salad was excellent too. The burgers are just good and the desserts in general too sweet. Service staff were attentive and kind. However, it seems to me they have no clue about wine.

I cannot tell you how disappointed I was by our Christmas lunch at this restaurant. The salad for the first course and the cheesecake for dessert were rather mediocre both in presentation and flavour. The main, the lemon sole, however was atrocious. A large blob of fish swimming in a gloopy sauce that covered the plate from edge to edge. Three very sad and over cooked asparagus were drowning in that glutinous sauce. It really was inedible. We’ve had 2 other meals in London this Christmas for the same amount and they were spectacular. I can only say that I would never return to this restaurant nor recommend it to others.

It was a Christmas lunch and one would have expected the restaurant to create a festive atmostphere with tinsels and cosy Christmas decorations but the restaurant was surprisingly economical with decorations. I was expecting at least a table cloth ( even paper table cloth) and some lovely table setting. Christmas lunch was charged £80 per person but after adding wine and tax, it costs over £100 per person which is fine for Christmas lunch but the ambience and food didn't give value for money.

I booked the dinner from Canada expecting an enjoyable Christmas dinner for my family The service was absolutely terrible and the food disgusting, my shrimp salad had 3 frozen shrimp sliced paper thin in a bed of soggy lettuce The turkey had no flavour and I suspect it was a rolled turkey breast Cheesecake was a biscuit with synthetic topping yuk! We ordered Shirley Temple drinks for the kids but staff never heard of them when we asked for a kids drink we got diet cokes. We had to wait a long time for food When we arrived my 12 grandson who is type 1 diabetic his numbers crashed and we asked the waiter for bread or a roll. He said the chef only has banquettes we said ok just something to get his numbers up. Waited nothing came I ran out to bar and to get some fruit and candy for him to take as he was in danger zone. He just got out of hospital a few days ago being treated. No one come back to table to give us water or bread Overall as someone who travels a lot I was hugely disappointed in the atmosphere. Really good flavours and just the right amount of food. Staff pleasant, although we did need to go and find somebody on more than one occasion. There is no disabled access or ramp for buggies which would have made made the experience easier. Highchair was available for us to use. Staff called a taxi for us and helped with carrying the buggy and luggage up and down stairs. Beautifully decorated for Christmas, good choice of food with not too many options, so made choosing what to have easier. The kids loved the burgers and 6yr old said he felt grown up going somewhere so nice. Thank you.

Extremely disappointing dining experience. Didn’t feel very festive at all. Barely any decorations and such a shame as the building has so much potential. We had the festive menu priced at £42 per person. The main course featuring roast turkey was very small, resembling a child's portion rather than a proper serving. The lack of flavour in the turkey, coupled with its dry texture, left much to be desired. The accompanying gravy tasted like water, and the three miniature potatoes served were black on the inside. The overall impression was that of a hastily reheated microwave meal. The restaurant have ignored my complaints and have not even given me the courtesy of a reply. I’ve had better food at McDonald’s!

Average restaurant inside the hotel. Burger was ok but nothing to scream home about. The fish dish was a bit blend sadly but as a quick lunch fix in a cozy hotel/restaurant it's ok.

The service was incredibly slow, in spite of the fact that the restaurant was almost empty (we were eating early after a show at the Albert Hall). Having asked twice for the kids menus, I had to get up and try to find them myself. Likewise with the salt and pepper. It took an age for anyone to come and take our order. The food was tasty enough, but for a restaurant in that price bracket, it was staggering that they didn't offer any alcohol-free options for drinks. Additionally, as somewhere that's child-friendly, very surprising that they didn't offer any starters for kids, and we had to make do with two outrageously overpriced (and undersized) slices of baguette. The dessert was similarly tiny and came nowhere close to being value for money (the black forest trifle was actually a thin, dry disc of sponge about two inches across, with four blobs of cream and two cherries cut in half - avoid). Having not finished our main courses, we asked if we could take the leftovers in a doggy bag. We were told the restaurant didn't do that. We had to insist and a receptacle was found, but it really shouldn't be this hard. What should have been a perfectly nice meal, if nothing to write home about, became a bit of slog.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly from the time we arrived. We were seated in the bar area which had a good mix of diners (families, couples and groups of friends). Our drinks and food arrived promptly and the food was delicious. Well done to all staff at S&B Kensington.

On our booking it said there were only bar spaces available, in actual fact restaurant itself was not open mon-weds but could order all the same food and eat in the bar area, made it quite relaxing with kids and less pressure of a more formal setting, which worked well for us. Food was nice and service friendly, would go back again

Very pleasant experience. We arrived late due to train delays but were contacted by the restaurant and was still accommodated without being rushed. The food was lovely and served quickly. The staff were all very nice and couldn’t do anymore for you. In fact that would be my only criticism, the staff would tend the table a few too many times but better more often than never. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

The scones amazing and sandwiches were very good! The sweets were a bit more of a mixed bag with some being incredible and some not quite to my taste. The tea was very good and overall it is amazing quality for the price. You get quite a bit of food too! Definitely recommend.!

First time we have been and we loved it ✨💫. We had to rush to a concert at the RAH and the team could not have been any more accommodating. Food & cocktails were superb and great VFM, highly recommend.

Fabulous food on an extremely cold night. Steaks were cooked to perfection - food was a little colder than we would like but was resolved promptly.

Food was quite acceptable, no issues with it Booking system was utter chaos. We had a table booked for 6 15. Upon arrival we discovered that they had accepted any booking that came along and were subsequently way overbooked. Along with many other people we either had to wait until a table was vacant or leave and try to find somewhere else.

Had a booking for 4 people, however when we turned up we were informed they had no tables due to over booking the 5pm slot. There was no apology from the manger or indication of how long to wait, only offered us to pay them more money by waiting in their bar! Would avoid at all costs!

We reserved a table for 6.15 as we had a special evening planned at the Royal Albert Hall. When we arrived at the restaurant we were told that it was over booked even though we had a reservation. I have never ever had this experience at any other restaurant before. I believe that once you had a reservation, you had a table. We are our food at the bar, service was slow and the food was extremely disappointing. We were not offered anything off of our bill. There were lots of disappointed and annoyed people who also did not sit at a table and even left as their meal was so delayed. We had to rush our food as our food arrived ten minutes before the show started. The manager did apologise, however the service was extremely poor.

Had to ask for the set menu. Could be a one-off BUT the table behind had to do the same. A ploy? Our mains came before our starters (my son was having a sweet) so not ideal. Not entirely convinced the meal we then got was freshly plated as not really that hot. Everyone was held back until exactly 5pm before being allowed to be seated which I think impacted the ability to control the service correctly - appreciate you need to stop/ start service at some point BUT the insistence on taking everyone through at 5 meant they were swamped.

I would prefer to pay a service charge separately rather than have one decided for me.

Superb Service by Parth. Attentive and courteous during the meal. The food is of superb quality. Wonderful presentation. Select number of options on the menu but perfectly balanced. Would certainly recommend.

I'm in London for business and I'm staying at Radisson Blu Edwardian Vanderbilt. The Scoff and Banter is a restaurant in the hotel and I usually come here for dinner. The food is good and the staff is very nice, especially Parth. I recommend this restaurant also for the breakfast!

Dinner tonight was fantastic, the staff was friendly and personable…especially Parth, Jaydeep, and Maria. Additionally, the Black Forest dessert is worth coming to the hotel whether you’re staying or not.

Sadly this place did not meet my expectations. It appeared that the waiting staff did not know what they were actually doing Maybe they were a bit rushed or new but service was poor and non attentive
