Savannah Lounge in Brent

Food is very good and I'd previously given 5 stars and have been a few times, I was hoping this would be our regular as a family but a group of 10 of went last weekend and it felt like we were an inconvenience. We spent 400 pounds, we had to ask for ice and glasses for drinks. The serving staff were often no where to be seen and I ended up getting up to collect glasses and drinks. Asking for take away boxes and being charged 50 pence a box was really the icing in the cake and sadly we will look for another place to make our regular Indian resturant and won't go back. My son was horrified at being asked to pay for take away boxes and he is right!

We had a quick meal at Savannah Lounge last night as we were in Wembley for an event. The food was fresh and delicious and the service was on point. It is a small family run restaurant and don’t let the size put you off, the food is definitely worth coming back for! Would highly recommend!

We won't return - 4 chunks of meat in a mediocre lamb rogan josh and non-attentive service! 1) given a coke we didn't order 2) not enough dip with the poppadums - tiny bowls we had to ask for more 3) starters came half way through our mains so we couldn't enjoy them as they went cold 4) not asked if we wanted another drink 5) not asked if everything was ok 6) not asked if we wanted dessert 7) the bill came out before we asked for it, along with the card machine, so no time to properly check the bill or order the dessert we had planned to get 8) the 12.5% service charge wasn't mentioned in the menu, wasn't amendable 9) next to our table was a guy playing a slot machine which made a dull rhythmic banging noise for the whole time we were there which got annoying and distracting When we got home we realised they forgot to charge for £10 worth of drinks so that made up for our unhappy experience. Such a shame because our first visit two weeks ago was tasty food and good portion size, lovely chat with the lady owner.

Stopped here for a meal prior to attending a concert at Wembley. What a find. Very friendly service. Food was excellent. All freshly cooked and spiced to perfection. Will be back for sure.

When approaching and entering it looks like you have maybe made a poor decision to eat here until you taste the food. I've had a lot of Indian food in my life all around the world, but hands down this is the best I've had the pleasure of eating. Lovely company from the owners and chef, also great prices, absolutely superb.

Absolutely outstanding! We booked in for a table of 4 and each of us all agreed that it was the best Indian meal we'd ever had. Plenty to choose from on the menu and well catered for all, plenty vegetarian options too. Travelled from Newcastle and the service was brilliant, lovely staff, excellent food and a fantastic atmosphere. Would 100% recommend and will be back! Thanks again.

Don’t bother to order from here as they’re rude. Specially old lady who is on front desk! Didn’t have communication skill. If you don’t want to take order than reject it! Food is getting Bad too(spicy and chicken not cooked properly)!

Went to this place a few weeks back for a meal and drinks. Ordered a couple of butter naans, garlic naan, butter chicken, lamb biryani, saag paneer, and prawn curry. All in all the food tasted amazing! I'll definitely be coming back here again!

I really don't know where to start...Booked a table after reading good reviews. We were running late after travelling 200 miles to drop our son at university in Wembley, but told to choose food online and it wouldn't be a problem. We arrived at this buzzy, gem of a place that was full of locals and the staff couldn't of been more welcoming. Our food came and we have to say it was the most amazing curry we have ever had. I enjoy cooking curries and try to find really authentic recipes, but these curries were capable of giving a new taste in every mouthful. Our three choices were all just incredible, with gorgeous spices and succulent meats. All served beautifully with perfect rice and breads. The food was just part of the evening's experience. Then to top it off, the owner of the restaurant came to join us and we sat chatting like old friends. We even met her in the street the following day and continued our chat! We are glad our son is in the area for 3 years for us to make this a regular visit! Thank you Mrs Patel and your amazing team! Jane from Devon, as I became known...we can't wait for the next visit!

Very very good! All fresh, tasty, so well seasoned and delicious! Friendly service, warm restaurant, no too loud music or anything other disturbing. One wish would be to have clearly marked of which dishes are fully vegan and have more vegan options in the menu.

Unassuming and easy to miss from the outside, but don’t be fooled, the food is outstanding. An extensive menu, far too many dishes to chose from! Had the lamb biriyani and the samosas. Hands up the best biriyani I have tasted. Despite the size of the restaurant they have a lot of customers. The local residents obviously know what a gem this place is! If you’re in the area, do visit. You won’t be disappointed. The manageress is a Legend. Very hospitable and welcoming. Loved it. I’ll be retuning very soon hopefully.

Worst place I have ever been to. Food is very bad, no taste, undercooked. Ordered chilly chicken and chicken lollypop which were both nothing but disappointment. Place is shady as with absolutely no class and is dirty. Lastly they charge you service charge which was quite shocking considering the kind of service they provide.

Saw the bar from the top of the road when looking for a curry house prior to the Euro Final & wandered down. You cant say it looks shiny or flash, but it instantly had a warm relaxed and friendly feel to it. We hadn't booked, it wasn't rammed busy on the ground floor, but it certainly wasn't empty. They were expecting a big crowd in their much larger space downstairs for the game but they were very friendly and said they'd squeeze us in. Stayed there for best part of two hours, had some fabulous food, a few beers and we just chatted with the locals.Such a great find, made to feel very welcome. Pretty rubbish day because of the result and discovering this place was the highlight !

It’s been two years since I came to London from India and this is the best Indian food I have tried so far. The taste is simply incredible. The curries are so flavoursome and fresh. The breads are light and fluffy! I have tried almost everything in the menu so far and this place never disappoints. If you are looking for an authentic Indian meal, this is the place.

I have not visited since the first lockdown as I have not traveled to the area for work. As restriction are eazing I was working in the area area for 2 nights.... WOW the food was just as good as ever... so much so I ate at the Savannah Lounge 2 nights in a row... I just love trying different dishes to thous on every Indian restaurant menu in the country... don't worry if you have your favourites they are there or can be done for you.. But love trying and opening my mind to more traditional food. Always a great welcome from the owners and staff...that make you feel very much at ease. I felt very Covid safe.. they make sure you sign in and making sure you leave contact and trace details...

I am always skeptical when a restaurant says it has won awards for best Indian food, but I made a delivery order today via tastecard and having just finished the last bite 10 minutes ago, I had to write a review! Let me just say that this food is beyond a doubt, some of the most fantastic South Asian food I have ever eaten. Well done!!

Locally sourced produce that are turned into the best curries in town, starters which are just out of this world and a menu that cannot be competed with by anyone else in the area. All created by the number 1 masterchef and served with a friendly smile that makes you want to come back for more over and over again. Love this place. A must visit when we are in Wembley. An unusual sports bar/cafe vibe. Don't be put off. The food is the best Indian food I have had in London and just as enjoyable for vegetarians as it is for carnivores. Our vegetable platter to start was a joyous creation. Service is friendly and efficient.

On Sunday 1/3/2020 my family attended Wembley to watch Aston Villa v Man City. We pre booked a meal at savannah lounge as pubs are always too busy. My first impression was very friendly and spotless. As we went on our food arrived which was excellent no complaints from anyone very reasonably priced too. The guy who served was so friendly and I can not recommend this place enough. Well let’s hope we get to Wembley again next season will definitely book this place. I can’t thank them enough for helping to make our day special, despite result ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

17 Dads and young kids ate together the night before the cup final. The service from the moment I booked the table to the individual goodbyes at the end was exceptional.The kids were given a chicken tikka option by the waiter which they all demolished. The adults had a wonderful mixture of starters and mains which were ample in size and great in taste.Not what I would class as a traditional restaurant as there was a pool table, Dart board and football on the TV. This didn’t matter as the great service and food meant we didn’t even need to use them.A great place I would visit again

One of the best places to go have lunch or dinner! Been going there since it opened for a few quite drinks after work! But the owners have worked hard in making sure two things were made possible, that is:- 1. A master chef and Amazing food menu that would be talk of the town 2. Staff who gave great attention to detail and service all the time And voted the winner of the 5 star Indian Restaurant for West London and all of London at The London Asian Food Awards 2019. That says it all

This place has an atmosphere that is simply great, not that formal, you feel like at home! The food is simply amazing cook with love and passion. Plus you can play 8 ball while you wait for your food. The owner of the place is a special person, you can see the love that he put running this business. We’ll come back again for sure!

Located just off the high street with the restaurant downstairs it really is a hidden gem.. fresh and delicious food. Well done to the staff for Winner of Oceanic (Asian Food) Awards 2019

Had meat somosa followed by house special chicken curry and boiled rice. Could not finish it all. Curry not too hot but beautifully spicy. A treat. Somosa's were served hot but no lemon however the taste was excellent.

I was actually hoping to eat elsewhere. But after looking in masti I thought I must have made a mistake. It was more of a nightclub than a restaurant. I soon found Savannah lounge and boy was I glad. It's not a quiet little place there was music playing pool table and free dart board. The portions were extremely generous and very nice. I'm from Bradford and I always say I've not had a good curry down south well that has changed the lamb chop curry was sublime. The owner is a true gent and made us very welcome as did the other staff. The next time I'm in Wembley I'll be here but maybe I'll share my starter. And stay longer.

This place is without a doubt one of the best Indian/bars resturants Ive been to.The ambience is spot on and although a Indian resturant Savanah definetly has a multicultural clientele attending .. and that is what is so appealing about this lovely place .not too mention the amazing authentic Indian food and quality service ..what more could one want .Highly reccomended.

Visited this place having seen the excellent reviews after the recent Lionesses Germany game at Wembley This place is a few minutes walk from Wembley Central so easy to find As mentioned do not be put off by any first impressions of what you may typically be looking for in a Indian Restaurant This family friendly restaurant does amazing home cooked food at a reasonable price so you won’t be disappointed Had problems using the booking table app as they did not have our reservation but the mummy made sure we were looked after and found us a table on a busy Saturday night If you decide to dine here then probably best to call and reserve Definitely will be back when next in Wembley

A lovely restaurant hidden in the side street. The staff was good, welcoming and friendly. The food would have tasted much better if it was a little less spicy. The prawn starter was great but the rest of it was very spicy. I did mention this to the staff but he didn’t pay much attention to this.

Don’t listen to anyone don’t be discouraged by the neighborhood or by the non formal style of the place . Just listen to my advice. One of the best Indian food I have ever had globally in my life. Meticulously cooked to every detail and to perfection. You couldn’t find not even a small mistake to mention. I went there with my wife and two year old child. We all loved it will definitely be one of our favorites every time we visit London.

Keep coming back to this restaurant / bar when in the area... The welcome is always very warm...the second time you visit you will be remembered... The food (which is now award winning) is just stunning... no frills but very honest dam good food...
