Enjoyed the food but had to repeat everything to the guy that took the order, I'll leave it to you to have a word with your staff other than that all 👍🏻

All the food was burnt and when I asked about it they said it was fine. The food was terrible all we could taste was the burnt flavour. If I could I would give 0 stars. Me and my family were also fasting and you’d think going to a shop with many Muslim workers they would not serve inedible food in the month of Ramadan. The photos added are just a few things that were burnt so was the chicken and the Donner meat was stale and the naan was hard.

Saqib kebab house is a local takeaway that's been operating for over a decade or more. That's proof of how successful the business is, if you still there after donkey years. Anyways food is top notch (takeaway standards) cooked fresh with all different spices the aroma is the pulling factor. The menu price is good not expensive and not cheap. They serve everything from chips burgers doner chicken and much more, so excellent variety on offer. The downside is that at busy times the staff are running around completing orders (but the que just builds up). They need a strategic plan of action when it's really busy (so you don't get people waiting for long, waiting can put people off). Lastly the interior simplistic design, always clean, spacious enough to have seating area upstairs and few tables downstairs. The Brother's that manage and operate the takeaway are excellent - honestly their customer service their enthusiasm and their interaction with their loyal customers is 5 star. Inshaa'Allah they will grow and grow and grow...

I’ve not from the city, but I do regular trips to Birmingham. The last time I ordered food here, I was served by an older man - I told him I wanted niblets mixed Donner with chips and some lamb shish kababs but I couldn’t finish my sentence he already ran off preparing half my meal, I was waiting to order more and then he told me I should have told him earlier! I wanted to say ‘well you already ran off before I can finish my sentence?!’ But I didn’t want to sound rude like him. I didn’t say anything but I was annoyed. He looked frustrated at me & he told me he couldn’t make the shish kebabs it will take time, and I have to go back into the long queue again! Very unfair coming from someone with poor listening skills. I’m not telling someone how to run a business, but surely the person taking your order is the one who should be taking your order, and there should be a separate group of staff who prepared the meal. They all seem to be running around all at once and not listening properly. The food was okay, lamb donner is always dry so I usually get it mixed. Not sure why in this day and age they only do cash payments.

Today Monday 12 February at 14.00 when in to have some food and order fish and chips and donner with nan and had trying to have fish…. But the fish was not good at all on the menu was cod fish but it was something else told the staff and no luck he told me we sell 100 fish today but why do they lie about this I am Bangla we no what fish is this I always eat fish and chips and telling me this is COD what a LIE Please trade in standard please can you find out about this LiE …… my mistake never to go back….. for Fish and chips … go to 1 and only for fish and chips mother Hubbard. The food is always great. Its the service. Your in the queue, almost an hour then someone walks in and gets serviced ASAP. People and taxi drivers push in or walk straight to the front. The staff do not bother and this has not changed since I have been here. Disappointing 😞

Food is not worth the price anymore. Gone very expensive and portions are not adequate.

Always a firm favourite when it comes to fast food. Always order food which will be cooked on the grill yes it longer to make but well worth it.

Best chip shop in all of handsworth. Really beautiful chips, chilli sauce is special and always great cooking and flavour in the chicken, burgers and kebabs. 1000% recommend over everywhere else.

They don't wear gloves when handling food and really poor service. Ordered food when no one else was in the shop but they decided to take their time with it and when it got busy they served other customers, some with same order as mine, before giving my food. Had to wait around 45 mins. Very lousy. Won't be returning for sure

Summary: Food had dropped significantly in quality over years and service is absolute garbage.

I always save going to Saqibs as I know to get that good food I have to deal with the infamous queue. But it's worth waiting every time.

Saquibs is nice but there chips go soggy once inside the wrapping paper. Also £3 for a chicken and chips, prices have gone up. There ok wouldve given 4 or 5 but for the chips to go soggy once in wrapper is a let down other than that their a good friendly well established local chipy thats popular well known in Birmingham and local area

Ordered donner meat and chips, didn’t enjoy at all. Donner felt like it was cooked 4 months ago and chips were cold and stale and tasteless. I am worried that my stomach will be break dancing tomorrow when I wake up. Don’t go. 1/5

Saqib’s is a must when visiting Birmingham, fresh hot food always and service is quick and fantastic. Great variety of grilled and fried food and the only takeaway I’ve seen that has a better drink’s selection then most off licences 😂

Let me get straight to the point, the queue was long when I got in waited 15/20 minutes which I didn’t mind. Food came fresh and hot! Customer service was good, friendly bunch of people. Definitely recommend people to give this place a go.

Hair in my food ! They need to put on hairnets and beard nets as most of them got long straggly beards, I didn’t want to go back in and confront them as other people were ordering and it was super busy so hopefully they see this and make a change! Disappointed

Food is real good here. Always consistent and enjoyable. Try their grilled chicken wrap. You will enjoy it! I have one gripe, the queues are usually long so book your orders in advance. They rarely pickup the phone so think of other means to book your food. There is seating and they also do curries and rice dishes. Food is very nice here, however do give yourself ample time as queues can be very long.

I'm very disappointed with Asim today. I'm a regular customer and usually I have no complaints. Today, the fish was undercooked but the batter was hard, the chips were old and didn't taste nice at all, the chicken was so hard and old. I'm very disappointed today and I think this will be the last time I order from here unfortunately.

THE ONLY CHIPPY YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IN BIRMINGHAM! This place has it all - literally all! Fresh, hot and great tasting food at fantastic prices from this chippy and very clean which is a must for me. Even though the queues are sometimes out the door (this is a good sign of good food) the service is super fast. They ask what you want whilst you wait in the queue so when you get near the front all you need to do is pay and leave - brilliant. The Chilli Sauce is addictive!!! My go to chippy in Birmingham!! Only gave 4* as no card payment option.

Asims is my local kebab/curry/pizza/chip shop takeaway which i visited most days. Even after moving house I started to use the J.E app for delivery. They have a great reputation and are a beneficial asset to our community. They have also been rated highly and featured in our local newspaper (B19) also their prices - considering the cost of living of living these days - you cannot complain!
