We had some lovely cocktails here, Sandys opened on Valentines day and shut because of COVID. It survived but was the restricted to having live music.A visit is a must. Friendly staff.

Found on the off chance, having left the Carpenters pub next door and looking for somewhere decent for dinner. Very relaxed, reasonably priced, and great good. Pizzas are top notch, and puddings (cheesecake and tart tartin in particular) are excellent. In a district where price often outweighs quality, this is a real oasis of a place!

Returned to Sandy's for a second visit, having previously eaten there a couple of years ago in the summer. Revisited to find that the atmosphere is not diminished in the winter. Very much enjoyed the pizza special but found the bolognese quite bland and rather a small portion for the price. Service was friendly and the menu is really rather inexpensive for its location.

We had a fabulous dinner here after stumbling across this restaurant with 8 very hungry children and six very tired adults. Instead of the chaotic disaster that this dinner could have been it turned into one of our favorite meals in London! The staff were friendly and accommodating. They were kind to our children and were gracious with their boring “only cheese” orders. The food that the adults had was wonderful! Amazing pumpkin soup, gnocchi, bread, pizzas and house cured olives. I would highly recommend!

We eat here a lot and always enjoy the pizza - the special this week was excellent. That's if you like tuna, cheese & onion etc. Not cheap at £13. House wine carafe good value.

All dining experiences are what they are based upon the whole experience. We found Sandys just behind the Middle East which is Edgewater Rd. The combination of delightful staff, homely and comfortable decor and a tight but well selected menu meant we came back as often as possible during our several weeks in London. From the grilled goats cheese starter to the deadly chocolate desert, the food was well presented, fresh and very tasty whether it was a pizza or a pasta. The prices were not outrageous for London but be aware that they include a12.5% service charge so don’t go too silly with tips, even though it is tempting.

Love love love his place! I am really very picky, and it’s been a long time that I’ve found a restaurant that makes me completely fulfilled at the end. Been a few times lately, consistently good food and all around great atmosphere. The service is always friendly and professional. Desserts were also excellent, particularly the chocolate fondant and fabulous vanilla ice cream. Highly recommended - We will definitely come again

I have eaten here many many times. The common thread is that some dishes are outstanding eg the burratta. Some are pretty Good — the pizzas but largely because of the dough— though pizza size seems to me to change depending on the time of year...; Some dishes are are just v v v ..meh. I disagree with the glowing reviews generally. See my other reviews.. I am in top 1% of London reviewers on Tripadvisor they keep telling me whatever thta cr&p means..but it does mean I know London. The STAFF here though are uniformally abyssmal. Not rude. Not aggressive. Just perpetually preoccupied and low quality. Chatting amongst themselves when folks are waiting and lazy. They take orders wrongly — almost universally so. Never had them get one right. Ever. They do not apologise when they do so. They present food by throwing on the table and turning away with no table/service manners.Literally like my 10 year old would do at a school dining evening. I ate here this evening and I am so so done. Order was wrong as the waitress did not listen. No apology..much chatting amongst staff te Bulgria and social life..no checking to make sure the newly arrived food was OK..the bill was thrown later on the table ..the payment taken with a grimace.. I live literally a block away ..3 mins walk..from this place and we locals call it ‘The Food With the ‘tude’.. They need to sort this. Service is abyssmal. I’m so done. Keep tricking the tourists but we locals are done. Only caveat is the take out is apparently great ..but small comfort..

A business colleague arranged for us to meet there, a bit off the beaten track for me, but he arranged it. Pleased he did, I had an aubergine pizza with extra sausage and green chilli, it was delicious. My colleague had the pepperoni, and he made quick work of it. The bill was very reasonable, what you would pay at a chain but you will eat a much nicer pizza. As I left a man eating on the outside table was raving to his friends that his pizza was "as good as the last time".

We found this place on Sat 15th June. We were initially heading for a bigger Italian nearby but had a look around and saw Sandy’s. It looked inviting and independently owned so we had to try it and we weren’t disappointed. Very friendly service, lovely food and a great wine list. I can’t understand why anyone would complain about the price and even worse mark them down for it. You’re in central London and the prices are very reasonable for the location and type of restaurant.

Delicious pizza served quickly in a cozy setting. Excellent expansive wine selection at good prices.

Average price, maybe a bit on the high side, but good quality food, and it was relatively busy. Very vegetarian friendly.

Having had our share of pizza in Naples and elsewhere in Italy, as well as in the US, we are snobby about it—particularly the crust. We stopped by for lunch on a Saturday and had hands down one of the best pizzas we have ever enjoyed. We started with the goats cheese and honey salad, which featured crunchy dressed red cabbage perfectly dressed (not soggy). Then the fabulously rich caramelised onion pizza with the amazing crust, washed down with a glass of robust red. The service was friendly and efficient even though the restaurant was hopping. And, it was tremendous value for money. Our new Marylebone neighbourhood favourite!

We just stopped here on the way back from Marble Arch tube to our hotel because we were hungry after a long sightseeing day. We found the service quick. The waitress could not speak English very well but she had a great smile and got the order right.

We had Margarita & Chicken & Rocket Sourdough pizza. - They were fine. A little overpriced and only small. Service fine, tables too close together ! Would not visit again.

Su lista de vinos es muy buena también. Lo único que me impide darles 5 * es que sus precios son más caros, sin embargo, eso es lo que se espera en el centro de Londres y me gustaría que pudieran hacer sus pizzas un poco más grandes. Aunque eso no me impedirá volver a ir.

We love Sandy’s. The pizzas are top notch, cooked to order with a lovely thin base, tasty toppings and a crispy edge. Our idea of pizza heaven. Super staff, great service, a good wine list. We have seen the negative reviews but they are not our experience at all; this is not a chain restaurant, it is much more sophisticated than that with real care and expertise put into everything. This means it is not at the cheap end of the market, but if you like quality, personal service and great food this is the place for you.

Never have we been to a restaurant that adds VAT to the bill at the end and a 12.5 percent service charge. This form of billing is not listed on the menu and is nothing short of daylight robbery.

We are travelling from overseas and dined in having only two 10 inch pizzas, 2 glasses of house wine and a soft drink with the final bill of an astounding 51 pounds. Most expensive pizza by far we have ever had! Makes me wonder if they recognised that we weren’t local and all good to rip off!! Certainly puts one off from supporting small business in London!! Although not advertised or written on the menu this restaurant adds a total of over 30 percent VAT and service charges to your final bill.

This place doesn't look much from outside and so we nearly walked past. I'm glad we didn't. The Italian food was absolutely delicious, the waitress very friendly and helpful. Prices were fine for this part of London. I could do without having a 10% service charge automatically added but we didn't argue because we felt the waitress was deserving anyway. It's only a 5 minute walk from the top of Oxford street on a nice quiet back street.

if I could, I'd rate this 100! The pizza looks normal, but bit in, and eat the best food in the universe! They make gluten free for EVERY THING! There pudding is exatly like the pizza way, looks normal but is amazing!

Conductor de la entrega era preciosa, pero la pizza era ridículo. Realmente no tienen ningún queso, era de piedra fría y quemado en el negro. We have been coming to Sandy's every time we visit U.K. from overseas, the first time we stepped through the door the aromas had us totally hooked. their corsican Pizzas are delightful made from French flour and Gruyere cheese, although I overheard one customer saying she wanted a pizza but couldn't eat cheese to which came back the answer, 'that is no problem we can make you one without cheese': how's that for service? When we were in London for a while, we regularly called in at Sandy's for a meal, mostly early in the evening, and were never disappointed with their menu, mostly my husband had a pizza of some sort I also had pizza's but also their don't forget their pastas which are great. When the weather warmed up a bit we did find it a little warm in the restaurant as it is small and is inclined to get very busy, but to us coming from the tropics, it was still too cool to sit outside, so instead of a Pizza or pasta dish I had an amazing Purple Artichoke for a first course, a very fresh crispy tuna salad with drizzling of olive oil spiced with chilli dressing it was exceptionally good. We have told so many friends who are flying to London to try to make a stop at Standy's and most have all have given the thumbs up. Good on you Sandy's can't wait to visit again although it may be a while a 24 hour flight is not to look on lightly!

Late Sunday lunch as off to Hyde Park to watch a concert. Pizzas looked good with interesting toppings. Had a starter beetroot and goats cheese. Pizza was onion, tomato and artichoke. Quickly served with a cold beer. We were on one of the two outside tables. It was just what we needed good food served with a smile.

I come here once a month after work, normally with a colleague. The pizzas are reliable and nice, not too big. Service is friendly and efficient. Sometimes the restaurant gets really warm inside, so if you can get a table outside, strongly recommend.

Their "Napoleon Bonapart" with added anchovies, salami, and cheese was awesome. L'Oignon was good value and yummy. Spicy olive oil was provided. Inexpensive wine available. Friendly people, enjoyed the sunshine.

Just finished a really enjoyable dinner at this local restaurant. Extensive pizza menu but the pasta is well worth a look if not in a pizza mood. Save room for desert which is of high quality. Service was attentive and helpful.

The Picante, Four Cheese and Bonaparte are my favourite pizzas. They do the pizzas in a wood fired oven and they are soooo good. I have probably eaten close to 50 pizzas in here since they opened. They are done Corsican style with French flour and gruyere cheese. They are different from tradition Italian Neapolitan style but in their own right are delicious, the base is thin and crispy with a crunchy crust and the gruyere melts perfectly to combine the delicious topping options.

I stopped here for a quick meal whilst on business in the area. A bowl of pasta was just £11 which was great value for the area. The interior is warm and welcoming and the service was quick and friendly. The pizzas look very good.

Pizza is delicious and service is fast. Staff members are nice and kind and always there to help you. I go with my family very often. I love it!

Unprofessional staff specially the manager who was rude and i think she has a mental issue because we complained that we are not satisfied with the pizza that been served, i travelled the world tasted every kind of pizza but when it comes to this one i really cant describe how bad it was ,even though i was a costumer they were not welcoming and almost kicked us out, they should thank me for letting them know how bad the experience was, never come back again neither the people i know

Cosy little eatery with relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, quick service and delicious food. Very tangy tomato sauce on the pizza and the warm Corsican cheesecake with rosemary ice cream is something different and definitely worth having. With the rustic decor and black and white photos on the wall - it's easy to imagine for just a little while that you are actually enjoying pizza in Corsica!

We love this little restaurant; lovely staff, great food and a fab atmosphere. We come here whenever we are in Town as the food is consistently good. OK, we nearly always have the same thing, but there's nothing wrong with that! The pizzas are made to order right there in front of you and the deserts are home made. Not sure we should advertise as it might mean we can't get a table next time!

I was very enticed by the concept and imagined that it was going to be excellent and whilst it was quite nice I wouldn’t go back. The food and wine were average and my server was quite surly. Maybe it was a bad day...

After a local wander to find somewhere to write that had some life but wasn't too noisy, had delicious food but not crazy expensive wine and had comfort without ceremony: I found Sandy's.On seeing the local artist illustrated menu and chatting to Anita, the enlightened friendly waitress; I knew I had chosen well.I chose a glass of wine which was nice, Anita chose me a glass of wine that was so amazing (Le Maestrelle), I let her choose my desert too! I was not disappointed: warm Corsican cheesecake with homemade rosemary ice-cream - oh my word!I enjoyed it so much, the table next to me asked what it was and ordered some too!I was on my own yet it felt easy to chat to those who wanted to chat in a very chilled and friendly atmosphere.Top job Sandy's! I'll definitely be back.

What a smashing little place. Food was very good, reasonable value and service quick. I guess getting a table will be difficult at times but the staff were accomodating as possible. I enjoyed my food here and learnt also from the pub next door that the landlord of the pub does not mind you bringing your food from Sandy's into the pub to watch the footy.I will visit here again

Very nice. Pizza choice was inventive and authentic with a good charcuterie board. Charm matched the food. Lacked beer on tap and maybe fries or condiments (maybe my fault for not asking) but overall would definitely recommend

Went to Sandy's for a pizza on Valentine's day and they gave us each a complementary glass of wine with our pizza. The pizza was absolutely delicious, and they also gave us a complementary raspberry and pistachio macaroon for pudding which was so yummy! What amazing value and such nice touches for Valentine's day. Thanks Sandy's!

Their homemade tomato sauce is so full of flavour using fresh ripe tomatoesPerfect use of cheese to make sure the pizza is a gooey delight but still tasting authenticity Italian The base/crust for me is easily the the best I've ever eaten, it doesn't go sloppy in the middle and the crust is nice and crispy but still a very slight chew when eatenLots of options with toppings and staff always very friendly and on the ball. This is a Corsican pizza restaurant, so you're here if you like the idea of combining French and Italian cuisine. The pizza is good with a tasty thin crust. You will be disappointed if you prefer the Neapolitan-style slightly more soggy pizza dough. I strongly recommend the spicy pizza. Delicious.

I'm a Pizza person, one of my earliest memories is sharing a gigantic pizza with my brother and sisters overlooking the evening promenade in Porto Santo Stefano. The sights and sounds and smells of Italy were impossibly romantic, the excitement sealed by handfuls of crispy yet soft dough layered with creamy mozzarella soaked in a rich, deep tomato sauce. But that's a 1000 miles and many years away so I'm really happy to have found Sandy's last night whilst wandering around the Edgware Road. A snug, cosy and comfortable setting with charming and friendly service and pizza's that are about as good as you get in the UK makes this a place I'll definitely be returning to. Featuring Sicilian-based cuisine with some interesting combinations, try Solenzara or Pasquale Paoli pizza, and the Charcuterie with fig jam looked v.special and to finish up a lovely homemade apple crumble. But the crumble wasn't the usual stodgy lump, instead a thin crispy layer soaked in the apple juices, just on the edge of browning, delicious. If you are in the area, pop in, you'll love it.

Side street pizza restaurant we stumbled upon when looking for somewhere easy and convenient near Edgeware Road.We sat outside, which was a real plus on a warm evening . Service was good , the pizzas were OK, but unfortunately a little over cooked , which was a shame . Atmosphere was fine - good option for a casual or impromptu meal after work. Not too formal.

If you're looking for high quality pizzas at a reasonable price then look no further! Sandy's is minutes away from Marble Arch on Seymour Place, which is full of cute restaurants. We sat outside and the service was very attentive. Pizza looks small but is just the right size to fill you up after a day's worth of shopping. Highly recommended

I stay around the corner from Sandy's. I love their charcuterie and their daily special pizza is always great. The service is awesome and presentation of the food always makes me happy just to look at the table before I dig in. The Corsican take on pizza is perfect with fish and seafood as toppings. It's hard for me to explore other restaurants in this neighborhood, because I love sandy's so much!

I love the place, I love the people, I love the pizza. A nice break from the usual toppings, I'm craving the caramelised onion pizza with gruyere right now as I type. A nice break from mozzarella. It's homely. It's not expensive for the area.

We were 6 of us to try different dishes at Sandys and OMG! Pizzas are amazing, very tasty. Sampirro Corse is the best one! But they do also a chicken milanese that is great! We were very happy with this place and it's service is wonderful too. We will come back!

The pizzas here are small-ish, but very tasty. Service prompt, friendly and efficient. Tried 4 different slices (from different pizzas) and they were all excellent. Price was around the £13-15 mark (per pizza) which I would say is pricier than average (considering the size). Chocolate Fondant to die for. Will visit again when in the area.

A cosy restaurant just round the corner from Marble Arch was perfect for our pre-theatre meal. The pizza and pasta we ordered was fresh and tasty and the dessert was fantastic. Service was attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back sometime soon.

We come here regularly. Laid back atmosphere, cosy interior. The caesar salad is my favourite, and the chicken milanese!

Was on a course nearby and ate at Sandy's about 3 times with groups of up to 10 and the service and food was excellent each time. Tried the pizzas and the pastas and they were all first rate. Pizzas were a little different from the usual and really tasty as were the pastas, pastas of the day were a really good choice. Good wholesome Italian food. Great restaurant and if you get chance try it.

Stumbled across this before Christmas and was very impressed with the quality of the food. Went back again when I was next close by and was equally as impressed. The food is wonderful, not found st the main high street chains. If you are close by you won't be disappointed

Sandy's is a humble Corsican pizzeria, but it's low key atmosphere and small size brings a little charm that makes it perfect for tables of 2 or 4 who want to enjoy an easy dinner. The staff used to be from Corsica and it made you feel like you had travelled, but no longer.

This is a cosy restaurant about 5 mins walk from Marble Arch. Cuisine is Italian but not what you would get at a typical chain restaurant. We were a group of 15 but that didn't have any negative impact on service. We started with some olives to go with the drinks and then switched to the various pizzas. They are all thin crust and delicious. Dessert for me was a Corsican cheese cake with rosemary ice-cream - quite different but very nice. A great experience!

We were on a tour and had a free night to find our own dinner, we walked and checked out a bunch of menus within a few blocks (we were staying at the Hyatt Regency Churchill) The other restaurants were more gastro pub like and we didn't like the choices. Being american we were looking for more of what we are use to. Saw this menu and went in. We made a great choice, food was excellent, reasonably priced and service was wonderful. We over ordered, because we loved the menu. Salad, pizza and pasta. Nice red wine. Very happy.

Sandy's has been a favourite with my friends and I for months now and it never fails to disappoint. The cosy atmosphere paired with the chic Marylebone clientele and delicious pizzas is a winner. The staff are very welcoming and polite and Sandy herself is lovely. I would definitely recommend dining at Sandy's ! Bravo !

On the increasingly trendy Seymour place Sandys has been around for a long time. I have been several times and the most recent was typical- it's a cosy place, pizzas are good and service straightforward. Wines by the glass are well chosen and well priced. The only small irritation was the constant stream of delivery men from the various third party delivery firms coming through to collect pizzas.

My family and I visited Sandys on a busy Wednesday night and had a lovely evening. Although it is a small business everything is well run and very comfortable. Pizzas are divine and the service friendly. Will definitely return especially if our dog let's us have a night out without him.

This is our favorite place in the world. We have traveled to London many times from the U.S. and stumbled upon Sandy's several years ago. We were just there over the Thanksgiving holiday and, as always, the restaurant was outstanding. Terrific food, great atmosphere and service. If you are traveling to London, Sandy's a terrific place to visit - and we traveled halfway around the world this time just for their delicious pizza.The staff have always made us feel very welcome even though we are only occasional visitors. If I lived close by, I would be there weekly (without my dog !). :).

Charming and well-priced, this is a local gem of a restaurant. I am a repeat customer and always order the artichokes, warm goat-cheese salad and chicken milanese. The salad dressing is so yummy!

Great pizza and pasta and also other food. We tried the pizza/pasta and chicken! All excellent. Desserts are delicious!

Having lived in the Marylebone area for three years, I have frequented Sandy's on many occasion, usually at least once a month. Most recently I have been with friends and their (very) small dog - on a number of occasions - and have always been welcomed with open arms by the hostess and manager who stroke and coo over the dog, making us feel valued and very happy. Tonight, I called to book a table as usual and arrived for dinner on time. My friends and I were due to discuss a skiing trip we would be taking early next year and felt the environment of Sandy's was perfect for a relaxed evening. We walked in, went to sit down and were abruptly shooed away angrily by the female Manager, being told firmly "No dogs, you didn't tell me you had dog." Once challenged she told us that she had "received complaints" in the past. I asked the other (equally bemused) diners if they minded a dog who would be asleep, sat in the corner far away from them and they said no, but just before I was told "you cannot do that!" and made to feel extremely embarrassed and unwanted. What a farce!Thank you, Sandy's, for completely destroying any faith I had in you as an independent business. I always try to utilise all local amenities and restaurants in the area that I live in to support local trade but due to your lack of loyalty to regular customers, I am done. Fellow diners, I advise you order online from a chain in the future. We all feel extremely let down. Such a shame.
