Lovely baguette crammed with filling but I make no apology for saying £6.50 is excessive. That's what I'd expect to pay in a pub or restaurant, not in a takeaway sandwich bar. £4 ish would be more reasonable.

Best authentic baguette shop around! Nostalgic full of kind funny and friendly staff with generous portion sizes! Certainly helped us through our day!

Average baguette, lots of filling but the chicken was very grisly ! Also puts me off that they use the square processed chicken just not nice . Price £6.50

Popped in to get a baguette whilst shopping. Pretty standard fillings and a bit boring to be honest. The baguette was lovely and if it had a bit more continental influence, with some decent flavoured cold meats, etc. it would have been ok - not much effort made to be different from any other standard sandwich shop - it’s certainly not a pret that’s for sure. Nice fresh baguette though

Always fresh hot baguettes with a mind boggling assortment of fillings. No request is ever a problem. They stuff them full of good produce. The salad bowls are very fresh.

Slow service on deli counter (server didn’t understand that we wanted the sandwiches cut in half and other half in another bag ! Bare in mind there wasn’t not many in the shop at this time so the delay caused us to be late to get back to the office ! Food was okay but would of been nice to been asked if we wanted the avocado seasoned (sliced or smashed with the main ingredient ) the price was reasonable for the big portions . Would recommend to others

I’m a tourist from Hong Kong travelling to Paris, London, Oxford and Witney and this is the best baguette i ever had in UK (and Paris)! There are many many choices with friendly prices and staff. My favorite is Avocado+Bacon+Crabstick!! délicieux!!

Ever since I discovered Sandwich de Witney it quickly became one of my favourite places to go for lunch, I especially love their chicken mayo baguettes at just £3.80 which is a great price! There is such a large selection of baguettes and they fill the baguette until it's full with a wide choice of salad toppings. Also they are always so lovely, excellent service!

Now I haven't been here in a while but now I know they are on here thought I'd review.

Visited Monday 12th August in afternoon. Really amazing Special Offer baguette - Carribean Chicken. For £4! It's not just stuffed untidily in a baguette though. Service with a smile. Butter or no butter. Mayo or no. Choice of salad fillings inc onion, tomatoes lettuce ad nil. On all baguettes across a grandiose range...there's barely anything they can't do with a baguette or sandwich box. Hats off

The best lunch in Witney, by a mile! All the staff are friendly, quick to serve, attentive and always smiling! Regularly we order large orders through work and collect in the lunchtime rush, the orders are always prepared and ready for us to pick up on time. All baguettes and salad boxes are always filled to the brim with fillings, they certainly don’t scrimp on taste or value for money! The filling combinations are endless and every single one is delicious! Always our favourite office Friday treat!

Not only was my chicken/bacon salad baguette delicious, the young lady who served me actually looked happy to be there and to be serving me!

Massive selection and they don’t hold back on the fillings. Great value. They queue out of the door!

today i went in for two bigrets ham cheese and salad wonderful could not have been better fresh baked and made while you wait and the selection that you can choose from is partly shown on the photo taken theladies and good and the shop is clean what more can you want This is not a restaurant but a first class takeaway shop.

Always friendly service very large choice of baguette fillings and the coffee is excellent. I can recommend the chicken and the ham also the lemon chicken is one of my favourites.

This shop sells excellent fresh baguettes. The fillings are individually selected by the customer and the avocado and tuna is second to none. I recommend a half baguette as a whole one is so filling. However, be aware that the paper bags in which the baguette is served is flimsy - particularly if you have salads in your filling!

Ideal place to buy your lunch. The quality is very high and although not the cheapest in Witney, it certainly gives you more for your money. Only downside is there can be long queues at certain times of the day.

I popped in to Sandwich de Witney for the first time in Monday and had one of the nicest baguettes I've ever had! I chose a Chinese duck half baguette with cucumber. Absolutely delicious, great service and reasonably priced. Can't wait to return and try done other flavours.

If in town and hungry for a sandwich on the go, then look no further then sandwich de Witney, fresh and tasty.

Take your own cup and you get a filter coffee for 50p! I also purchased a slice of chicken pizza and a salad box. Food was lovely. Staff were efficient. I can see why they are Number 1 on TA.

These sandwich are addictive. The bread is amazing ( take it from a French person )and the fillings are always fresh. The staff are super friendly. Love it!

Whenever I am in Witney a visit to sandwich de Witney is a must. The baguettes are always amazing, the Chinese chicken being a personal favourite of mine. All the baguettes and delicious fillings are freshly prepared. They also have some great specials that change daily. The staff are also very friendly and helpful.

Lovely baguette as always , lots of filling and salad, girl that served us young girl brown hair credit to the shop, so friendly and welcoming . Even though the prices have gone up slightly since I last visited , you still get value for money !

This place is tiny but offers speed when the manage their big queues - and is worth the wait. I think they have a great choice of fillings, and are very generous with their fillings when having a baguette. Their salad boxes are great too, but feel they're slightly less value for money if you're really hungry! The staff are always friendly and willing to put together any combination of fillings that you can think of.

Have been here many times and each time they are delicious. Always really generous with fillings and all tastes very fresh. Would always recommend!

We were given a voucher for here picked a selection and took them to the Leys, not a crumb left absolutley gorgeous especialy the beef and stilton

i decided to take some breackfast with me on the train when i went on hoilday had cheese and real ham brigets had 3 but could only eat 2 as they were so filling great value and as i say REAL HAM ,keep up the good work df

Very good sandwiches, very good value! We have been quite often to pick up a baguette for lunch and it is consistently good, lots of choice, well filled baguettes and quick, friendly service.

I visited this shop for a lunchtime baguette and was very impressed by the service and baguette! there was a long queue outside - for a reason! The fresh contents on offer together with the range of fillings provided were mouth watering. I chose avocado and prawns - and there were several types of prawns on offer. there was a salad provided and the baguettes were freshly baked. What was not to like?! i will return!

A sandwich is a sandwich, right? This is an upper-crust sandwich, well worth queuing for and eating al fresco. The rolls are crusty and the range of fillings endless. If you can't find something you like here, then it can't be found.

La baguette era fresco y el sandwich en sí era muy grande, pero tan delicioso, no tuve ningún problema de acabado todo en una sentada (aunque yo probablemente no debería tener). La tienda es muy pequeña, pero es agradable recoger un sándwich y comer en uno de los bancos de afuera en un día cálido.

Just the best fresh baguettes - as simple as that. Vast selection of fillings made FRESH to order. You may have to queue at busy times but well worthwhile. One of my favourite fillings is beef with stilton topped with salad. They are so generously filled to overflowing.

This place has been my spot since I was 13. I used to treat myself to a perfect bacon, beef and lettuce sandwich and every time it's pure perfection. The food is all fresh and you know you're eating a healthy meal. Now I've left Witney if I go back to visit the parents I'll definitely be popping back in!

I have passed this small sandwich shop in the centre of Witney many times, but have always been put off by the queue which always seemed to be queuing out of the door.I took this to be a great recommendation, so when I passed it earlier this week, and there were only a couple of people in the queue I took the opportunity to sample what they had to offer.Massive selection of fillings, possibly 50, from which I chose a Coronation Chicken baguette, which cost £3.80, so at the more expensive end of the market.Staff very efficient, and the baguette was well filled with the filling, and a few small pieces of salad.Delicious, I may even be tempted to join the queue on my next visit

Best baguette and salad boxes in Witney! The salad box is always filled to the top with no spare, and comes with delicious noodles. I recommend the tuna sweet corn salad with avocado The baguettes are always fresh as are the salad ingredients, such good prices! Best place for lunch. Negative is that it is very small! They would benefit from opening a seating areas possibly upstairs? That would be even better! Also a good selection of drinks! Spicy tuna is very nice but the only do it as a special!

I visited on a hungry afternoon after hearing good reviews. I ordered a brie and avocado baguette for myself and a beef and stilton for my other half. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they really made my visit.When we got to eating the baguettes, they hit the spot. Great, fresh ingredients and perfect combinations. Had to work in witney recently luckily enough it was close to sandwich de witney.I noticed a queue outside while I was looking around the market so I thought I'd give it a try glad I did it's the best filled baguette I've ever had no wonder there is always a queue but the staff are fast friendly and efficient the baguettes are freshly baked and the fillings are freshly prepared. There is a good choice and a design your own available. Will definitely be going back everytime I'm in witney

This place has a line going outside the door most days, lots of fillings to choose from, and a special that changes every day.Well worth the queue though, as you get a baguette that is pretty full, so much so you might need to use a plate.

If only I lived in Witney, I'd quite possibly pop in almost everyday to this store!The fillings are simply superb. Mind you, I can still taste the one with cranberry sauce and Stilton (if memory serves me well) I had several years ago, back in 2009. Just to have an idea, I am now living thousand of miles away, across the pond, and my taste buds still crave for the indelible mark left on them by your rather tasty concoctions! Incredible!

We were recommended to try this sandwich shop. They do a great selection of sandwiches. I had a Brie and Apple half baguette. The brie was just right and the apple was cut up in front of me. We also had the sandwich of the day which was chicken curry with bacon and peppers and a beef and cheese baguette. The bread was good and fresh as were the ingredients. They were all absolutely terrific.

I can't remember every baguette I've ever eaten but I don't remember ever having a better one than the one I bought today from Sandwich de Witney. I will remember this one.

I pop in here every time I'm in Witney. Freshly cooked baguettes with so many fillings to choose from. I normally go for the chicken stuffing. Great little place always heaving and I can see why :)

Very good fresh food... Only issue is they use the same tongs for all of it and im allergic to onions so its all mixed about then apart from that very good

This sandwich shop is on another level compared to the chains such as subway. Use local stores and they show you why we need to treasure them. The staff are friendly, care about your lunch and always have a smile.The food is of good quality and the choice of fillings is great.
