Sambuca in Hartlepool

We had our tea at Sambuca between Christmas and new year. The food was very good, generous portions, quick service, maybe too quick, if they slowed down you may have room for a pudding or more drinks. The background music was holiday party music which we also liked. The only query we did have was being charged 25% more than we should have been, we paid on card then quickly queried the scruffy receipt, very quickly £15 cash re appeared for the 2nd bottle of wine that had been charged but had never been onto our table, accident or deliberate we will never know but it was as though the £15 was almost waiting for the query.

We had the perfect meal. The setting was perfect, the vibe was perfect and the food was fantastic.I went for a three course meal with Chicken Pollo Crema for the main, pate starter and cheesecake for dessert - perfect. My family had a mixture of Pizzas and Pastas with an array if starters and ice creme for dessert.

Excellent value, great service and lovely friendly staff, food is really good especially for what you pay. The owner makes everyone feel very special and the service is first class. Could do with dimming the lights a little as it’s very bright could create such a better atmosphere. Would highly recommend

I ordered the fish platter it was delicious. If u like seafood you should order this it was delicious. My husband ordered the loaded Parmo and enjoyed it throughly said he would deffo order again. Lovely friendly helpful staff to. Ambience in restauranr is really nice.

Eveything was spot on, top top quality food, professional attentative staff, unbelivable value for money. Will definately be back (regularly😁)

We had a family meal out on Saturday night and the restaurant had a lively friendly vibe, we were served by polite staff and all enjoyed a shot of sumbuca and an impromptu dance show by some guy of Britain got talent!

Lovely food super friendly service . Swift service & lovely looking deserts . My little boy bumped his head on entry ( my fault I bopped him with the door) he was rewarded with an upgraded ice cream from the staff he was over the moon . We will be back

We very much enjoyed our night at this restaurant. Seem to be a very popular restaurant in Hartlepool and the waiters are very busy. However, I must say the service was excellent and the food was provided speedily. The food was good, my son and I had pasta dishes which we both enjoyed however it was a bit creamy. The final party enjoyed his chicken dish. Probably not a very good restaurant if you are on a diet. There is a great picture of Marilyn Monroe. The desserts were superb, I very much enjoyed my Banana Split. The house red wine was good as was the minestrone soup. The waiters were very energetic and kid friendly

Great to be back and we thought little discernible difference with our last visit in 2019. Excellent mussels in white wine to start with followed by a large Fish Pie..this had a lot of fishy doings in it. Friendly service and good service. Probably not the best outlet for watching diet.

Use to love this place but got a bit down hill use to get more food and less money hope this is just as they trying to get back from COVID-19 they are still very busy what is good to see will be back just in a few months to see if any different still good place tho

We visited this lovely restaurant yesterday. The food was amazing and the staff were all super efficient and friendly. My one criticism is the level/type of music. Whilst we love a busy fun environment it was so loud you could not talk or hear each other. We would have stayed longer and enjoyed more courses but it was just too noisy.

Me and my partner found this gem by chance. We were unsure given the surprisingly low prices on the food menu.The food was truly outstanding, cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients, hand cut chips (not frozen).It was so good od we went back a few days later to try midweek. We went on the Wednesday, which was steak deal day. 3 courses for £19.95. OMG the ribeye and peppercorn sauce was one of the best I have ever eaten. The starters and deserts were just perfect as well.Service was excellent from all the staff. Really great place, love the atmosphere, good and great staff. 10/10 all the time. Cannot fault anything and in this day and age, super cheap without loss of quality.

Not much going on on this street, so wasn't too sure about trying this restaurant but oh my..so glad we did. Lovely decor, clean and very welcoming staff. . The price of food was so low we were bit dubious of quality but needn't have worried..paid more than double for a poorer quality meal. We visited twice and have not a single complaint.

We’ve been regularly travelling to Hartlepool for the past three years and Sambuca is our favourite Italia n. The food is tasty and staff can’t do enough for you. Today I’ve had Bellini cocktail as tasty and sophisticated as you can get in posh restaurants in Venice: the texture of strawberry purée and Prosecco is perfect! Well done!

Food wasn’t bad, tasty and hot but nothing special. Service good, the only thing that let the place down was far too noisy so was keen to eat up and get out.

An excellent meal last night, my partner enjoyed the fillet stack and I liked my pollo Diane, unfortunately my son found the bbq sauce on the sizzling plate too sweet otherwise it would have scored 5 out of 5 , deserts were fab

This restraunt is simply amazing. The food is out of this world, and the staff are kind and helpful. There is nothing more that you could ask. Even during delivery-only times in Covid, their standards did not slip and provided amazing food, which arrived on time and hot.

To be clear, restaurants hadn’t been open long with the temporary ease in lockdown restrictions. The food and service itself was spot on... however... i felt the atmosphere to be a little strained. Staff weren’t talkative or enquiring. No one seemed interested in anything other than getting you through your meal and out the door. Again though, I stress, this was an odd time for hospitality industry. I’ve eaten at many Sambuca restaurants in the past and have been unable to fault them... I’ll definitely be trying this one again.

The lasagne here was cold and unappealing. I had experienced cold food here before but decided to give it another try. I told the waitress to ensure the lasagne was hot, unlike my previous visit. There was no excuse, therefore, for the unedited food served up.I would not recommend, Portafino and Matteos are better.

First of all when collecting my order o had received the wrong order so I had to drive all the way back and to return it, during COVID. As they wanted it back I can assume the had given it back to the original customer of the order, even though it has been in contact with me. When I had finally got my right order I had realised the dough of calzone was raw. I had rang up to get a replacement calzone and said they would send one out straight away. After 50 minutes I rang up again and it said it was on its way. It took another 30minutes. When replacement came it was over cooked and too hard. Terrible service.

Birthday meal..absolutely beautiful food and plentiful...can't fault....5* food, and 5*waiter service from my lovely hubby !

We’ve had two takeaway Sunday dinners and one sit down meal post lockdown at Sumbuca and have no complaints at all. Takeaway dinners are the nicest I’ve had recently and we will definitely return when the world is normal.

Absolutely amazing food! The staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful! My favourite restaurant! Wouldn’t go anywhere else! The potato skins are my favourite!

We have been visiting this restaurant since the first night it opened and have always enjoyed the food and the friendly staff. Tonight we ordered 2 fillet steaks. One of which was very tough and the other was ordered with "sambuca sauce" which tasted more like oxo gravy. We dont like complaining but thought we should mention it to the waiter so that the chef was aware. The first reaction from the waiter was "well your still eating it" he really wasn't bothered! We told him we weren't after a refund and just wanted to let the chef know that the steak was tough.Needless to say we wont be rushing back!!

Ate here during a recent visit to Hartlepool and really enjoyed the place, great food, friendly efficient staff and good choice of drinks, all at a great price, lucky we dont live closer as I would be a very fat person . Well done to all the staff.

Please check your bill. They will always give you a receipt with only a few payments listed, once you ask for a breakdown of the receipt you will realise they’ve added lots of money on. Question every payment you’ll reduce payment by a lot. Foods brilliant but everyone I know has been ripped off, and I know a lot of people!

Had Sunday lunch takeaway and wasn’t disappointed. Delivered on time and was piping hot. Plenary of vegetables accompanied with horseradish and mint sauce, with plenty of gravy

ordered food for take away due to present circumstances. Picked up rather than delivery. Staff were amazing and even after travelling 3 miles food was still hot and absolutely delicious. I would recommend any one to visit you wont be disappointed

Thoroughly enjoyed the first visit since Lockdown and, on the strength of this visit, we returned again on August 31. On the first visit we took two more people and, in a high chair, a child of 2. It was very good - someone to take drinks orders first and then the food order by another. All came piping hot and boy! The Mussels starter was fantastic!

Food was OK, but only thing let it down was one of the pizzas had the toppings separate on each slice. which wasn't great and I only eaten the ham instead of a slice of mushrooms or slice of onions etc. A tad annoyed because we cone here frequently and it's the second time this has happened.Keep it traditional guys stop trying too hard to make something different.

Always a pleasure visiting this restaurant. Cheap, cheerful family feel to it. It has an authentic feel to it compared to other Sambuca restaurants. The menu is good and they do a great Sunday lunch too! Great service and atmosphere.

Visited at around tea time tonight, place was bouncing under the government meal deal offer with queues outside. Did not take too long to get a seat, around 5 minutes. Drinks came quickly, and soon ordered starters and main meals for two. Despite the staff being extremely busy, they still managed time to see us, which was nice. We shared starters of pate and garlic bread, which we both enjoyed. The pate is beautiful, and well worth trying!After a short break, our parmos arrived with side dishes of chips and vegetables. All food was served hot and very tasty. No complaints from us on either the quality of food or the excellent service.Well done to the wonderful staff, with special praise to the chef's. How they managed with so many people is just amazing!

I visited with my husband during the eat out to help out scheme and it saddens me to say the service and experience was not as you would expect.The friendly service and social aspect seemed to be no longer. It appeared that staff were more interested in getting you in, fed and out again to get more customers in. We had three courses plus drinks and were finished within less than 45 minutes. I appreciate they were busy and had a huge demand which is great given the fact restaurants have suffered lately however it appeared to be almost a conveyor belt in the sense that there was a constant queue waiting outside and the staff were more interested in getting you in and out to attend to the next people waiting. It seemed to me they were taking far too many bookings. We finished one course and within a minute of the plates being taken away the next course was at our table and we had no time in between. Similarly the dessert plates were taken away and instantly the bill together with card machine appeared. Don't get me wrong you don't want to be waiting an unreasonable amount of time however that said you don't want to feel rushed.Generally the staff take interest and make conversation and really make you feel welcome and that your custom is appreciated however on this occasion this certainly wasn't the case.That said the food was as lovely as ever and we had no complaints, its just a shame the service wasn't up to standard and for that reason I would really reconsider about returning.It was also surprising to discover that they no longer run their specials or happy hour deals and this isn't made clear in advance or advertised sufficiently until you arrive and there is a sign to alert you to the fact. The justification being they are too busy with demand to honour it however what I don't understand is that they say this but then still serve the same items you can get on the happy hour deal.Overall I was very disappointed with the visit.

Extremely busy as it was a “eat out to help out” night but there was plenty staff on and we were well looked after albeit a little rushed which was undewas very busy (our mains were our before we had finished our starters). I do feel they may have taken more bookings than they should have based on the amount of people waiting for tables but had pre-booked. On to the food, garlic mushrooms were tasteless and on some soggy bread, the garlic bread was dry, we had asked for one with cheese on but it came as just a normal garlic bread which wasn’t an issue. The pasta dish I had was lovely (arrabiata) and my husbands steak was cooked perfectly just as he had asked for. All in all a good meal, well priced, we would return but maybe not whilst the eat out offer is on.

Staff were attentive and accommodating and the food was plentiful just not to my taste and for some reason our soft drinks did not taste right . Location is not the best but the restaurant can't be held responsible for that.

felt very rushed and the workers kept coming over to check if we had finished every two minutes , we booked the table for half past four and we got told to hurry up and get here at twenty five past.my main meal came cold and my garlic bread was rock hard , their was two minutes in between the starter and main which didn’t give us time to relax

Food was average. Some was ok some was laced in garlic to the point where it was just too much. Who I presumed to be the owner was friendly. Most of the staff needed more training ie if someone is still eating don’t start taking the plates etc. One waitress (Long brown hair in a ponytail) was very good at her job (credit where credit is due).

Eat Out to Help Out scheme:Booked several days in advance and just as well we did. Was very, very busy and looked like it had been all day. Food was excellent and with two fussy kids and a vegetarian among our party it was great there was such a wide selection.We all enjoyed our food and the service despite being so busy was attentive, polite and fast with frequent (but not overbearing) checks for drinks and food quality.There were a few slight niggles with a starter and a portion of chips missing. But considering how busy they were this was understandable. These problems were also solved quickly and professionally - far more so than less busy places we've been to that have had similar problems.Overall would fully recommend for either a family or a group. The prices are great value and the food of a decent quality, with a wide selection.

I visited sambucas for lunch with friends and it was disappointing to say the least not much choice on the menu and when soft drinks arrived they were rather flat did ask about them been flat and was fobbed off nothing done about it I'm really dissapointed because I was so looking forward to a nice meal

We pre-booked a table for 5 people but we queued outside for a short time as they were so busy. We were then taken to our table which was upstairs but it definitely lacked atmosphere of dining downstairs. Food was great, as always, no complaints there, but our party were conscious that there was little social distancing between tables & no track or trace. The servers did have face masks (incorrectly worn by most) but this seemed to be the only sign that they were adhering to restrictions. It's a shame but the experience will make some of us think twice before rushing back.

Went to Sambuca for tea yesterday evening and felt like because I was a solo diner using the "Eat Out Help Out" scheme I did not feel very welcome.Food was lovely as always but when I asked for a main course of the Chefs specials I was informed they where not available then after my main meal I asked for a cheese cake but was informed again this was not available, I left the restaurant feeling that because I was a solo diner and not with a party they could not wait to get me out of the door.

Just back from having a lovely lunch. Thanks to Dear and all of the staff who always treat us as family. Yes it's strange times no hugs and the staff wear masks. The food more than makes up for it. We will be back for lunch soon.

Not a lot to say, 1st trip out from lock down, all staff wore masks, around their chins, not covering their noses etc, chefs not in masks, and the manager didn't wear one at all, why????Starters was OK, but main of lobster ravioli, not good in any way, frozen and warmed up, tough, and although I only had a couple of pieces, was not good when I got home.

No refund, No care given No appology and 26.00 pounds out of pocket. They took the money and ran. Its that simple. This god awful attempt at a dinner belonged to a friend of mine who had this delivered / take away.

We are regulars at Sambuca so were thrilled when we heard it had opened for delivery or collection. Ordered Pollo Pepper and Pollo Ala Creme both with a side order of chips. Was told that it would be ready to collect in 10 to 15 minutes. It was ready bang on time !!! Food was absolutely delicious as usual.Will be back for more next week.

Sambuca Hartlepool have have recently opened up for take away meals. How we have missed this place during the lockdown, and I can honestly say that the quality is still fantastic. My wife and I just can't wait until it can open properly so we can interact once again with the amazing staff.I had Penne Aribiata whilst my wife had Penne Sambuca. As part of the lunchtime special we also had potato skins, plus a complimentry Garlic Pizza, which we both thought was a fantastic gesture in these hard times.The food was hot when we goy home, so it was well insulated, and it was still to the very highest standard which we expected.Our extreme thanks to the staff at this wonderful place for helping us to remember one of the special monents we can look forward to when lockdown is over.Excellent, many thanks once again.

Sambucas have started to deliver to your home's due to lockdown the covid virus Had a beautiful evening meal given 5 Star only took half an hour to arrive all the food was beautiful. tasted delicious just like in the restaurant

I eat in here around 3 times a week with friends and parter (maybe more times a week lol) brilliant customer service, both men and woman are lovely, absolute gorgoeus food cooked to how i like it and always piping hot when arriving at the table, i love the arriabata and potato skins on the deal and a surf and turf with my homemade chilli sauce what the chef makes especially for me asking.

Have eaten here many times and never disappointed. The Sunday carvery is very popular. Evening meals are great. Extensive menu. Beautiful steaks and some really nice seafood.

My wife and I went to Sambuca Hartlepool on a Tuesday night, and decided to eat off the special steak/ chicken menu, which is excellently priced for quality 3 course meal. If memory recalls, £12.95 for chicken and £17.95 for steak.The pate starter was top quality and very tasty. The steak was well cooked (medium rare), and the pepper sauce was beautiful. We asked for onion rings, not on menu, but there was no problem to them in supplying these with the meal.The cheesecake has always been a favourite, and it did not disappoint.Staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble to them to make sure we had a great evening.A good choice of refreshment from the bar compliment a fantastic restaurant, which I highly recommend to anyone considering eating there.A great evening, thank you to all the staff at Sambuca Hartlepool.

Went for tea, it was fairly busy and while we were there a guy proposed and the girl said yes. So sweet as manager got everyone to congratulate them Nice food decent prices.

First visit to this restaurant,what a lovely place,we were here on Sunday for a Birthday celebration and were not disappointed,17 of us attended and had a selection of dishes,majority had the Sunday Lunch which was a very good 3 course special for £8.95,great value,the service was excellent and a warm friendly atmosphere,the other meal dishes were plentiful and good value,will be back here.

The food here is always delicuous. There isnt much options for celiacs which is a shame because gluten free pasta is cheap enough. I usually get the salmon in leak which is unreal but the last time i had it, the portion was tiny and i had to fill up on the chips unfortunately.

I've lived in Hartlepool for 20 years, and only went to this restaurant last year. Why I left it so long is beyond me. This is the only place in this town that can cook a steak to perfection, they have not let me down yet..... All their food is so fresh if you don't believe me try it for your self. On week days they have a cheap menu., in saying that the food is very good value any day of the week.... Staff are sooooo nice food amazing, atmosphere is good to. What more could you ask for...... Omg I should be paid for this review lol x

When in Hartlepool love coming here , staff friendly and helpful, here with friends ,two had sea bass in lemon and garlic sauce fabulous,,hubby had pizza lovely, and one mixed grill, all food presented lovely ,

Though we had just missed the fixed price menu of a starter and a pizza/pasta for £5.95, the food is still cheap to reasonably priced without the special offer. I visited for the first time with friends on a Friday teatime. Ordered seafood pizza (£6.95) which was tasty though quite salty, and a pint of Strongbow Dark Fruits, which was a pricey £4.20. Friends were happy with their meals too (chicken pizza and chicken parmo). My problem was that you could tell they wanted to free the tables as quickly as possible. The service had gone beyond attentive and was a I felt like they were a little in my face. As soon as we finished a drink, before the glass hit the table they were there, asking if we wanted to order more. If the answer was no, they or another waiter returned within a minute to ask the same question again. The same happened with dessert. We chose not to order a sweet but were asked three times in less than five minutes if we had changed our minds. Nice food but not exceptional and not the kind of service that appeals to me.

Went to sambuca for afternoon 3 course special to celebrate granddaughters birthday. At £5.95 for 3 courses you can't go wrong. Most of the party had potato skins and garlic starters but I had a chunky minestrone soup. Then we all had pasta or pitzas followed by ice cream or coffee. Everyone was very happy with the food. No complaints. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made my granddaughter very happy by standing her on a seat and singing happy birthday to her while presenting her with a cake with candles on it. Yes a very nice afternoon and did not break the bank.

Have been dining at this restaurant for many years and never had a bad meal.

Worst risotto I’ve tried (my own included). Looked as though they ran out of ingredients and added a curry sauce to the rice. Not good.

Was lucky enough to have Sambuca recommended by a friend as a great place to eat. Not so much a restaurant, but a complete dining experience. Staff are always welcoming, service is first class and food is superb. Great value for money and always my first choice of dining venue when I’m in town. As a business traveller, my only regret is that I don’t get to dine there more often.

Me and my family love eating here, never had a bad meal in all the years i have been eating there. Not only is the food lovely but they really look after you and my two girls of 5 and 9 love coming here as they make a fuss of them espicially on their birthdays.

Massive range of food at bargain prices for a restaurant and it’s very very tasty too!!!!!! Lunchtime was active and the staff had everything under control. This must be a well kept secret for Hartlepool!!!!!

On a rainy horrible day popped to Sambuca

Called in for lunch on a very busy Wednesday. Even though it was packed service was very friendly and efficient as usual. My pasta sambuca was delicious as was my sister's carbonara. Both were ample portions off the £5.95 lunchtime special. Highly recommended.

Took some of our grandkids for lunch during recent half term. About 6 tables being used when we arrived at 12.15 but with a steady stream of diners the place was almost full by 1.30. 3 course special for £5.95 is excellent value and plentiful for lunch . Well worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful food and service is always exceptional. The food here is beautiful, and after several visits to this place this restaurant consistently offers a 1st class service.

We hadn't been to this restaurant before but were recommended by a colleague,i'm glad i listened.We walked in and were shown a table and a couple of minutes later given 3 menus and our drinks order taken.It took a while to check all 3 menus as there is a massive choice i decided on the black pudding with peppercorn sauce followed by the Seafood in spicy tomato sauce and my wife had potato skins and chicken with panchetta in leek and cream sauce.The waitress was really friendly and chatty.Our starters arrived and the black pudding was lovely and the peppercorn sauce was spot on for spice and the potato skins were well cooked.The seafood platter was superb there was sea bream,salmon,clams,mussels and squid with the tomato sauce with chilli had just the right kick,all the fish was well cooked i would recommend it highly,my wife said her chicken was lovely and the sauce was delicious.We had another round of drinks with our mains and the total bill was just short of £50 which we thought was great value for the quality of the food.

We arrived on a dark wet night and nearly walked past its black exterior but once inside we were made welcome and the atmosphere was one of families, groups and couples clearly enjoying their meal. A number were there for birthdays and everyone sang happy birthday Our food and drink was excellent for the cost and we would definitely go again. Its not fine dining just tasty food served in a friendly “Italian” way.

Family of 7 for Sunday lunch 3 course meal deal. Soup. Or potato skin. Main and the desert or ice cream. Food was fresh and plentiful. Highly recommend. Great friendly staff drinks££107.

Again we had a lovely meal at sambucca hartlepool. Friendly staff, great food and good prices meals we can visit often. Never had a bad meal yet.

Visited at 4.30 and had the 3 course specials, potato skins as tasty as ever, pizza for me and pasta carbonara for the wife, both delicious, with ice cream or coffee to finish, for £5.95 each.

Again, a surprise lunchtime visit with friends. Absolutely remarkable prices including lunchtime specials which explains the significant number of people dropping in. I had mussels( £7) to start with ( extremely good and plump) followed by Lamb chops - four decent sized ones with mash and a sprig of rosemary (£11.95).

The food was excellent, I can recommend the surf and turf but all the food was good, the staff where great thank you

We visit sambuca windmill most sundays for an excellent value Sunday lunch. Portions of meat excellent and veg self service.

There were over forty of us, including several children and babies - a family 60th birthday party. We had the upstairs room to ourselves and very attentive, friendly staff to fetch drinks and take food orders. The food was delicious and the staff worked flat out to serve all of the meals together.

Have visited many times with my friend and we have never been disappointed. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and efficient. The food is great and good value. Highly recommended.

Have been a number of times this year, including twice in the last month with family who have decided to make it a monthly trip. When going with family we go at tea-time but I have been later and although busier the service is just as good. The food is amazing, definitely no complaints from us. We were there this week for the steak night, I'm not usually a big fan of steak but it was absolutely second to none!

As regular visitors over a number of years, it still surprises me the high standard and quality of food served on a consistent and regular basis. The staff are so friendly, always helpful, with nothing too big an issue to make your stay good.

Great venue for family get together. Great food good choices and very friendly attentive staff. 1st visit but not the last in fact arranging a works reunion for next month. Definitely be at Sambuca.

I’ve seen Sambuca restaurants spring up all over the place but this was my first visit.

Food was just OK but you can't really complain for the price you pay. I think in future though, I'd rather pay a tiny bit extra and recieve a better quality dish. The staff are lovely though and the ambience makes the night enjoyable.

Went yesterday evening with my son for a belated birthday dinner. We sat down at around 6.30 pm and within an hour it was jammed. We shared clams and I had the sizzler. Son had surf and turf. It was simply..delicious

Restaurant had a special on three course either steak for main at£16.95 or chicken or fish for 12.95 good choice of starters and desert. Steak was lovely so was the starter and desert, and portions were very good sized. A little disappointing was the chips which were soft and had sweet note to them. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly.

A lovely, friendly restaurant with an excellent food choice. We are never disappointed. Although this restaurant is always bustling with families, couples etc, the service is quick and the quality of the food always hits the excellent mark. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Been before but never had the early special. As it was a birthday celebration and a few of us going nine of us booked for tea. Nice minestrone soup and enjoyed my seafood pasta which had plenty of fish. Cup of coffee to finish all excellent value for £5.95. Will definitely go again for early meal or lunch.

Us as a family are regulars at Sambuca, Fantastic atmosphere, value for money and the staff are total professionals wouldn't eat anywhere else in the town. THANK YOU GUYS.

Wow always guaranteed a great meal fantastic value and amazing service. Monday and Tuesday are there steak nights cooked to perfection and the desert's are to die for.

Visited today for lunch with a friend. We got the lunch time special (3 courses for £6). There was only 4 pieces of pineapple on my friends pizza but I suppose what can you complain getting what you did for £6. Food was really quite nice.

I would like to start by praising the young girl behind the bar, she approached us with a warm welcome, she was kind and had a lovely attitude. The other staff also had a good attitude, the service was quick and effective and the food was very very nice indeed, me and my wife really enjoyed it (and so did the grandchildren) Thank you very much Sambuca :)

If you’re wanting to live the champagne lifestyle on a lemonade budget this is the place to be. They had a decent meal deal type thing going, the food was alright I ordered soup for started but it looked like it was out of a can and the pasta was alright, service, now let me tell you, the lad who served us had no clue about customer service let alone in the dining sector, needs better training because it was not great at all looked like he didn’t want to be there and wanted to be off his shift already

A fantastic restaurant with excellent food & drink. The best bit, however, is how welcome guests are all made to feel. There is a true feeling of belonging here, as if you know everyone like old friends. A wonderful experience, every time.

We went to Sambuca Hartlepool on Saturday evening with our friends to celebrate Susan's birthday. The table was well presented with birthday banners and a large balloon, all arranged by the lovely staff.
