Saltys in East Lindsey

Always wonderful food and can guarantee hot and there is a great menu choice, may have a little wait as items are cooked fresh

We had a takeaway 2 nights at Saltys whilst staying in a nearby caravan site. Both times the food was hot and delicious and it was very fairly priced. When we return next year we will be using Saltys again

The BEST fish & chips! We holiday in Mablethorpe every year, and always make sure that we visit Saltys at least once. The best fish & chips that my wife & I have ever had. Really good value, really tasty food. You will definitely have to queue & wait during the summer months, but worth it. You have to visit Saltys when in Mablethorpe.

Meh. 4 chip butties. Latte gravy large curry spam fritter to take away. Orders at 1438/ he named it over to me at 1419 ! Was losing my will to live. 4 waiting in front off me. The stems or staff member with black hair is so slow it’s painful to watch. Lots off standing about talking. No matter off urgency. Chips and curry is the only thing which saves the day from this limbo. Maybe work smarter.

Come a lot when at our caravan always ask for our fish to be lightly battered always been lovely. But today a really let down more batter than fish and chips scrapy. When we complained the waitress just went away saying nothing what has happened to this restaurant

We had the fish chips and a side, mushy peas. I have to say it was the best fish and chips I have ever had, so much so, we went back a day later and had exactly the same! YUM!

Arrived in Mablethorpe after a two hour drive from Nottingham, checked into our caravan and decided we wanted fish and chips , we wondered along the High Street and came across saltys, we both had fish and chips and I tried a black pudding fritter, great value food and all cooked to order.

Had fish and chips here yesterday, absolutely fabulous. Fresh cooked cod, very generous portions and absolutely beautiful. Mushy peas side for 1 and curry sauce for the other. Faultless would highly recommend

Great fish and chips and really good value. The cod is one size which is big and a nice portion of chips. Onion ring portion is huge and they are lovely. Coming from London where you pay through the nose for small fish and chips this was amazing value and excellent quality fresh food. We sat outside as had a dog with us and that was fine but there is an inside restaurant if you prefer. Give it a try it’s really good.

Visited here while on holiday last week. Due to reading good reviews on Google thought we’d give it a go. When entering saltys we ordered our food and waited till it was cooked just via the counter. Was very clean inside while we were waiting. The food was piping hot and was nice portion too all family ate it all. The only downside was there were people next to us smoking on next table and smoke was blowing over our way when trying to eat. Would visit again but sit inside if there was a table to sit.

Been here n reviewed before but this time took ages to cook the food but the fish didn't taste owt like last time it was too dry n scraps were cold

We went as four adults and three kids it was nice they had a large table set aside for big groups, food was lovely everyone happy

A classic seaside chippy, good quality fish and chips, great value as four adults well fed for just over twenty pounds. I will be going back in October during my next trip.

Ordered at counter, allocated number and waited outside to covid spacing. Long queue but moving at steady pace. Less than 10 minutes number called. Good quality containers, ample size fish, cooked to perfection. Plenty of chips, piping hot and NOT dripping in oil or fat. As good as I have had anywhere on my travels. Delicious white fish, white flakes covered in good quality batter. Highly recommend.

We have visited saltys 3 times a year..for 5 years. The food is hot...fresh ..and gorgeous. Fish bites....cod...chips....fish cakes....curry sauce..peas....eat in..! Table service is concise and courteous...well done.! Thank you...you are by far...the best..!

Don’t bother it’s not worth it. Very average quality. You have to pay for a fork and you’ll leave hungry
