Ein Standardpub in dem man Bier bekommt. Nichts wirklich Besonderes hier. Die Bierauswahl ist nicht sonderlich groß. Achtung hier wird nur Bargeld akzeptiert.

A great London pub - nothing has changed here over the past 50 years … except the flat screens perhaps. Friendly, fast service and decent prices.

Fuimos a ver un partido de fútbol de la Champions League. Las bebidas tienen un precio razonable y el servicio en el bar está bien. Mucha gente diferente - clientes habituales - Eastenders y visitantes. Tenía un buen ambiente. Justo al lado de Bethnal Green bajo tierra, muy útil también.

Only been once, but the staff and locals were very nice :-) Will definately go again when in East London!

Have been here a couple of times, one was a crazy night with a mean live band, had a blast! Otherwise - good prices on the beers, football on tv, nice rock n roll playing. Great location next to the Bethnal Green station.

Es un buen pub de Londres. No es un gastro-pub. . No es un bar turístico. . o a un restaurante, o un bar de cócteles. . . . . Los inodoros son. como cualquier otro pub, básico. El servicio es tan sencillo y desagradables, así como cualquier pub inglés - está bien! !

Friends and I were here deciding on what drink to order when the proprietor antagonistically demanded to see our IDs or passports. He then, (presumably upon seeing we were not originally from the UK), aggressively grabbed my friend by the shoulder and shoved him out the door. Naturally my other friend and I followed, and upon us opening the door, the owner forcefully poked our chests (literally, not figuratively) and told us to never come back again. Overall it was an extremely terrible experience, not to mention frightening. The establishment also smelled of cat pee.

This is a real as it gets to an old east end boozer forget all the ponsey micro breweries with all the beardy weirdys you want an honest pint with real people this is the place to go

Typical city centre pub. High ceilings, lots if dark carpet and a very limited range of beers. Not one of my better decisions,

This place is very small inside, hot with limited beer choices. The prices are good though, £1 pint between 10-12 noon, and the prices incrementally go up as the day goes on. (if you want to drink that early!) No beer garden, so patrons spill out onto the pavement. The pub in on the corner of a busy intersection, right near a tube exit, so its noisy and busy outside. Sat nights there are bands which play at ridiculously high levels & there will no doubt be at least fight! There are nicer places up Bethnal Green road which have beer gardens, better drinks & nicer patrons.

My friend brought me in here as it is his local and the staff were all very friendly and didn't mind us having a laugh, joke and dance with the duke box on! extremely welcoming and would encourage anyone to stop for a pint!

This was the first pub we saw as soon as we got off the tube. The lads standing outside, having a smoke, were really friendly. We asked directions to our hotel; they discussed this matter among themselves before running inside to ask the bar staff. Very cheery punters! We had a few drinks in there during our stay in London and found it to be very friendly. The live music and people dancing made us feel most welcome.

went here for a couple of drinks after a show and was overcharged. staff rectified mistake with an apology though. owner/manager alwaya seemed to interefere and annoy the staff as they were trying to work.quite cheap though

attitude of the staff. We ordered a glass of white wine. the girl behind the staff misunderstood us and gave us two red wines. when we told her that this was not what we ordered she asked if we were kidding when we said no. she got angry and told us we were cocky. after consulting her colleague who gave us a similar unwelcome treatment we have decided to leave this place that stunk horrible of god knows what. Avoid!.

Not much to say really, full of old geezers enjoying a chin wag. Seems the type of place when the men drink while waiting for the other half to finish shopping. A friendly enough place tho.

we always visit when in London, always made very welcome ,My wife always has dark fruit cider as it is on tap, my Guinness is spot on, Love the juke box as you can hear it , Its only moments from the tube. Well worth a visit..........

E' un pub molto semplice, a 2 passi dal museo dei giochi dei bambini e con la metropolitana davanti (Bethnal Gree).Birra buona e soprattutto a buon prezzo

Vero pub inglese, semplice e caratteristico, birre ottime e a prezzi ragionevoli. Inoltre c'è la possibilità di vedere le partite di calcio della Premier League. Di solito nel weekend c'è anche la musica dal vivo.Consiglio al 100%.

Visited this by chance last week and became a regular,it is one of the friendliest cheapest pubs I have ever been in. From the moment I walked in I was made welcome,full of proper characters well worth a visit.

I stayed at the nearby Travelodge and visited this pub two days running. It's a basic London boozer with pleasant staff.The best bit was the price, I only paid £1.30 for a pint of bitter

We had travelled down to London for a gig and stayed overnight at the nearby Travelodge. On the morning of our departure we decided to spend a couple of hours relaxing in the pub rather than rushing about sight seeing on limited time.This pub reminds me of what pubs used to be like (aside from the lack of smoking!) No frills and basic but we got a very friendly welcome from the staff. The prices were also great for London (no more expensive than up North). The whole atmosphere was relaxed with some good tunes playing in the background and best of all, the gorgeous pub cats were wandering about and came to say hello! We'll definitely drink here again next time we are in Bethnal Green - a great pub with great hospitality.

nicely located pub right outside bethnal green stattion. Fairly busy on the weekday evening we went, looked in on Friday and was packed.the male bar staff need to do double duty as bouncers, and as friendly as they were, I wouldn't want to upset any of them! quite a few people dropped in to catch the football game, but were sent out the door if they weren't buying drinks.Staff and patrons we spoke to were all from bethnal green, and we listened to their stories of the the old days and the current situation.Drinks were reasonable and were served up immediately.
