Absolutely amazing experience! My boyfriend and I came in with our dog to grab a bite. The staff went more than above and beyond to make our experience amazing. Everyone was so warm and welcoming to us and our dog. A few members of staff came over to our dog with some treats and pets, but were courteous enough to ask us if it is okay first. The food was delicious and hot, we were absolutely stuffed when we left. We can’t wait to come back and visit again, they left such on a great impression on us, we were talking about it the whole car ride home. Thank you

Fantastic meal staff very well mannered if there is a problem they will put it wright no quibble pleaty to pick from easy parking although caution going onto market hill road as the traffic coming abit mad highly recommend.

Been here a variety of times with family. The food is always excellent. Our most recent visit coincided with their tomahawk steak offer; cooked to perfection, exceptional.

My new favourite spot for Sunday lunch. The roast beef comes served up like a steak and cooked perfectly, and the veg is so tasty. But the absolute star of the meal is the triple chocolate brownie, definitely the best I've ever tasted. The bar itself is cosy with a friendly family feel to it, live music on a Saturday night and sports on the big screen. Mark & Nikkie are a fantastic couple who go out of their way to make sure you've had a great experience, and all the other staff are equally friendly and attentive. Lovely country pub/restaurant in a nice setting, plenty of parking and a covered beer garden, hidden gems like this are worth visiting. And you definitely won't go home hungry.

Absolutely fantastic. Great value for money, excellent attentive service. Food was very good. Have recently changed owners and they have decorated. Place is looking lovely and thankfully the same wonderful chefs are still in the kitchen.

Friendly country style atmosphere. The staff can't do enough for you and are very attentive, but let you relax and enjoy your meal without hovering over you like in some places. Had the Sunday roast lunch and the quality of the ingredients are obvious on first bite. The roast beef is served up as thick as a steak, cooked to perfection and full of flavour. The same effort goes into the veg & mash, they're more than just plate fillers, along with the yorkie & roastie (and the red wine gravy is delicious). Also had the squid for starters. Lightly battered with a tasty sauce and slaw, notoriously hard to get right, but they do it. And all finished off with the best homemade warm chocolate brownie I've ever had in my life with what I believe was homemade ice cream, the perfect end to a fantastic meal. The only shock you'll get are the prices, it's an absolute bargain.

I was checking through local spots with decent Vegetarian options as I find most places in Co. Armagh area generally very same-y and on a Sunday I’d like nothing better than someone to hand me a big, beautiful, gravy-drenched roast! I had the Mushroom pastry which came with mash, seasonal veg and usually a white wine cream sauce - they were out of the sauce but to my delight they have gravy which is suitable for vegetarians and I’m so happy because the gravy was absolutely divine! I’ve lived in Lurgan for a few years now and have not once enjoyed a meal out, I normally opt for soup or salad with chips and have to watch my partner eat a hefty culchie meal. Sick to the back teeth of being offered stir fry, risotto or a burger. When I stumbled upon the menu online my eyes lit up at the idea of the mushroom pie. The veg was beautifully cooked and seasoned, the mash creamy and smooth, the pie itself so light and not at all soggy or greasy. Proper effort put in! The price of the meal was just and we did order a few extra sides too (brought a big appetite) and got a brilliant feed. I had phoned ahead to avoid disappointment and was greeted so pleasantly. The service within the restaurant was super friendly and comfortable. Food took a wee while but I’d say the mushroom pie was cooked to order (not a yucky store bought lump for sure!) so it is a good sign that it took a little time! Lovely wee setting and can’t wait to come back! Thanks so much for branching out with your veg options, especially since to me it’s in a location a little bit “middle of nowhere” vibes, it was so unexpected and I was delighted with the experience!

Seen the new menu a few weeks ago and it was on our ‘places to go’ list straight away. Will definitely be back. We literally live just a few mile away and tonight was my 1st night in Sally’s but wont be the last 👌🏻 Service was great and the staff were very friendly . I got the cock and bull burger and I thought I was gonna need lifted out of the chair after! The other half got the steak and Chicken stack and says it’s the best one he’s ever had (he gets a chicken stack everywhere he goes) . . Next time I’m booking earlier and staying for dessert, we were asked but apart from having no room left in our stomachs we were the last booking in and I work in the same industry so I know that everyone probably wanted cleared up and home. 10/10

Great meal last night at Sally's. We all chose different things, I had the cod which was served with fried pancetta, potatoes, veg and a superb sauce. Still got envious of my family's selection, had a nibble of all and was not disappointed. Lovely choco brownie to finish. Definitely will be back soon. Oh, may I add that the addition of the pool table was also a big draw for my two boys. Well done guys!

Found the whole dinner& dessert bang average chicken gougons overcooked hard around edges pile of grass ( sorry so called salad) had the strangest dressing over it not a gud taste at all beef stirfry the meat abit tough dessert at £6.95 disappointing 3 scopes of icecream ! & lemon trimasu was a glass of cream & lemon sauce pieces of a biscuit in it shocking Gin served in a wine glass ! Would not rush back

When the food arrived it was barely warm and the quality of the food was poor. I complained but the Manager never came to apologise. One of the worst restaurants I have ever visited. Definitely won't be back.

What can I say about this place... I really can't fault Sally McNally's! We heard they were dog friendly and decided to bring the dog for his 2nd birthday (as you do). They kindly put us in a wee side area on our own which suited us perfectly with the dog and went the extra mile and had a packet of doggie bones on the table for him 😊 I also asked for a sausage for him and they brought it out all cut up and cooled down and didn't even charge us for it 🥲 The food was 10/10, the staff were amazing and made such a fuss of the dog. I really highly recommend this place! Thanks for a lovely experience, Reggie couldn't have had a better birthday! We will definitely be back.

Honestly no review could do this place justice! Travelled from Belfast just to come here and every mile was worth it. The most amazing and welcoming hosts Nicky and Mark made us feel right at home and couldn’t accommodate each customer enough. The place itself was so homely and warm and had the most beautiful little personal touches which is hard to find these days. And this is before even receiving the food. Being from Belfast, I’ve been to many restaurants including mitchilen star, and the food at Sally McNallys blows every one of them out of the water!!!! If you are ANYWHERE in Northern Ireland and want somewhere absolutely beautiful to eat with the most AMAZING food and atmosphere then please make a trip, I promise it will be so worth your while. And if you want somewhere to go with your dog- they have a little space for dogs (which is separate from eating so non dog lovers can also enjoy). Honestly can not wait to get back, P.S salted chilli chicken is unbelievable, as well as the peppered sauce- would eat them by the gallon! Booked for a meal one week in advance and overall review was we will definitely return to Sally McNallys. It was very straightforward to book the table, the food was outstanding and staff were very professional and helpful. The flavours from the food was as good as we have ever had at any restaurant in the UK. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

Stopped in for lunch. Spectacular food, the sort you never want to end because it is so delicious. One vegetarian meal and one meat meal. All cooked to perfection. Bar is dog friendly and ours was made to feel super welcome and special. We will definitely be back.

Food very disappointing, it managed to be dried up ( I had a burger, the others in our group steak) all were cold and on cold plates when they arrived at our table. The room itself was also cold as were we. I have eaten here before and the food then was excellent. Don't know if this experience was just due to post Christmas lax or an overall drop in standards, however it will be some time before I try again.
