I went to a lunch for the first time with my friends there, and I loved the presentation, plus the taste of every dishes, I got. Next time I went for a dinner with my family and few of my friends, the service is up to the point, and I liked the most is the chef's special ie. Parsi gosht, too good!! And the laal mass is my favorite too! I think it's a good value for money and best Indian food I've ever tasted in London!

This restaurant is best restaurant i have visited in london. They serve the most authentic food with great indian touch. The panner tikka masala and chilli panner are the best. The service is also the best i have seen in london.

Sorry to Say this but today i feel my worst experience i just finished my dinner with my friends at restaurant. Food is not up to mark. I order paneer tikka masala and vegetables are not even cook properly. And chilli paneer is quit good but most important is just one gujrati girl is good waiter and other staff not too much friendly😲😲 Thank you

Overall: ★★★★☆ A pleasant local Indian restaurant serving Punjabi inspired food alongside some well known curry house names such as a masala. They could easily get away with halving the menu and still be busy if not busier because everyone knows with so many items it’s not possible to be all made fresh daily. Service was good and Food: Indian (Punjabi) What I liked: • Friendly, attentive service • Nicely presented food • Balanced flavours • Reasonable price point • The hot towels at the end are a nice touch • Overall good attention to detail What I didn’t like: • Thought the prawns were a bit tough • Naan was not that great. Too thick and doughy on one side and lacked flavour • Menus shouldn’t be on a dark background as hard to read in the evening and low light • Large menu which doesn’t inspire confidence in everything being super freshly made Do I recommend going? Suprinsingly good tasting curry for a trendy looking spot, normally those two don't gel but sai has got it right. I'll be back.

Don’t order takeaway from this restaurant! Placed an order at 7pm and it still hadn’t arrived by 9pm! Very difficult to get hold of the restaurant by phone and was difficult to get a refund. Bizarrely the delivery driver turned up at 10.30pm with the order - 3 hours 30 minutes after ordering!

Food is not too spicy or oily. The service is good and in winter the restaurant is nice and warm. Service is also attentive. I have no complaints.

This place was reccomend to me but overall I was disappointed with the experience. The atmosphere, decor, and service were good but unfortunately the food really didn't match the price. While the rice and garlic naan were both tasty with good flavouring, the same cannot be said for the mains. I got the Gosht Jalfrezi and my partner the Aloo Baingan; both were really bland. Lots of spice and not much flavour, the sauce was very watery and/or oily, which wasn't very pleasant to eat. The onions also tasted a little undercooked. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Love this place. It is 5 stars for its range. Must try the daily specials. The street food starter was a nice surprise to put the liquid in the ball and put it whole in the mouth

The food is ok , but stay away from the peshwari naan it's overpriced at £4.50 and they are small with not much flavour just get the regular naan and call it a day

Used to come here frequently when I lived in Raynes park! Would visit with my family. Great place, great food, great service and Vin was always welcoming! Miss the place!

Excellent restaurant. We are visiting from USA and found the food wonderful. The chef is also the owner and takes great pride in their food. Came here the next day too. Best chili paneer ever, and also great pani puri.

Yeah, nice food but only one attentive friendly waiter. The other 2 were moody, ignoring us, leaving us waiting, had to be called over multiple times and instructions reiterated and we never have any fuss eating out. And then finally one had the audacity to hit on my girlfriend in Spanish thinking I didn't understand, while the other repeatedly asked if it was me who was paying for the the meal because he saw out intention to split it. Very awkward and unhelpful ending to what would have otherwise been a nice meal experience. Won't be going back

Absolute gem of a place in Worple Road. Great atmosphere, excellent food and good service. Ben the owner is lovely and passionate about making great food and delivering quality. This is going to be our new regular hang out. Highly recommended to all. Thank you to Vin and his team.

We love this restaurant! Since moving to Raynes park a few months ago this is a firm favourite. Great for take out and eating in. Food is really good, on the spicy side and so full of flavour. Waiting staff are really friendly and welcoming. Reasonably priced too, you can have a lovely meal out here!

The flavour of the food was fantastic. Everyone at the table loved their dish. Excellent choice for vegetarians and meat-eaters.

Just had my 50th Celebration at Sai with all my family and friends, everyone had a fantastic time... the food was beyond amazing, Vin helped with the design of the menu and the service was excellent too, can't fault it. highly recommend.

We have just eaten a very delicious meal at Sai. Each course was fresh and tasty. The waiting staff were attentive and enthusiastic about the dishes. I would recommend a visit here.

I usually come here to satisfy my Indian food cravings. My personal favourite is Murgh Saagwala with Garlic Naan. They never disappoint me in terms of taste, quality and service. Very friendly staff. They do their best to provide high standard service to all customers. Happy to come here over and over again. 🙌🏽

Good food. However was extremely unimpressed when the chai I ordered turned out to be a (disgusting) teabag and not an authentic chai.

I needed a Tandoori mixed grill and Sai Restaurant Raynes Park did not disappointed. The meat was sizzling and hot, and the spice levels were just right . The Dhal Makhani was luscious and nicely flavoured. Good value for money.

I've dined here multiple times and rate the quality of food. The service on the other hand is below par in my opinion, with the latest exchange meaning I'll be going elsewhere for food. Sunday. Big sign 'Open Midday until 3pm'. One would pretty much guarantee that you could turn up at 2:30pm and expect to get served right? I did exactly that with my 2 dogs and sat outside as previously directed on a different visit. Waiter saunters out, hangs on the door and "We're closed". I pointed to the sign and was told "kitchen shuts at 2:30". Obviously didn't want me or my 2 well behaved dogs eating at their restaurant. Fine, won't be coming back.

Our goto place for Indian/Punjabi food. We order from here all the time and are definitely planning to visit this place at some point. Their tandoori chicken, dal makhni and sarson ka saag is some of the best. It's evident that the owner/chef bring the authentic taste from India to the food! Would highly recommend!

Ordered various lunch dishes to share but they were just about okay to someone like me who loves Indian food. I see this restaurant always quite packed at night so maybe my expectation was too high. Overall, fine :)

This place is now the best curry house in the area. Service was excellent. Food was better and the kids loved it too. To paraphrase, we will be back.

Not a fan and I don’t really understand why it is highly rated. After trying out multiple Punjabi restaurants and as an Indian myself, the Paneer Tikka Masala I ordered had an unusual taste. The sauce was watery and it lacked a creamy texture. Moreover, the paneer were in huge chunks and not cut up properly. The dish overall lacked proper texture and even the basic spices needed to make this dish amazing. I also find for the price you pay to eat at Sai, one should really ensure the dishes are authentic. The reason why I provide it two stars is because the chilli naan really saved the day in adding some sort of flavour and the rice was quite fresh. Won’t be ordering again.

So after using Sai for a number of years i have to say they've lost me as a customer tonight. After waiting for an hour and a half for my order and countless attempts to phone the restaurant. I have to cycle to them only to find my order sitting on the counter, cold and with no-one having a clue as to why it hasnt left. I'm met with "Well you mustnt have given us your address" when I clearly did to place the order. I also explicitly mentioned that I have an allergy to coriander only to find it in every dish! Complete disaster. They need to up their game with the service.

We have been customers of Sai for a number of years and it is great to see this family business gaining in well deserved popularity. The food and atmosphere is always excellent. Personal favourites are the Chicken Saag and Peshwari Naans.

Starters and wine was great. Also, brilliant customer service and quick food service. Unfortunately, the mains were bland. Also, no specifications on the menu as to which was spicy and which wasn't.

Bunny Chow was the best. Pav bhaji, Tikki n Chole Bhature were okay. Was expecting authentic Chole Bhature but it wasn't. Tikki was cold n too soft. Overall taste was fine.

Super quick to answer the phone when we called to book, and very friendly. A no-rush atmosphere and dark interior, but open during warm evenings which is a lovely touch. Laal maas was beautifully cooked and all food delivered to our table in pots that retain heat. A great combination of flavours — some spice, aromatic herbs, etc. We received free poppadoms and dips to try prior to ordering, which were a lovely touch that we didn't expect. Staff were knowledgeable regarding the menu and able to advise on flavour preferences. All in all, we loved it and will absolutely be back.

We were a bit lost as to where to eat one night in the Wimbledon area, and the reviews led us here. Such a find. Absolutely delicious punjabi food, different from most curry houses in the UK. Flavoursome dishes and tender meat. Light and fluffy rice and roti. Great service. We will be back.

Good food, quick service and comfortable atmosphere. We went again and the restaurant was full. The food was excellent and the staff did a great job. We requested some of the dishes to be less spicy and they were just perfect. We will be going back for more.

My new favourite Indian restaurant! We’ve tried so many different Indian restaurants in the UK and none of them met our hopes. Sai is a different story. From the first bite, the food was absolutely delicious and flavourful! Also incredibly authentic to true Indian flavours. It was even better than our favourite Indian restaurants compared to back home in Canada. The service was lovely. The decor and cleanliness was top-notch. It’s a great atmosphere and I believe they’ve made updates recently to their outdoor patio. I highly recommend you visit Sai for a great meal and experience!

Brilliant. Delicious fresh cooked food. The starters were excellent abs I loved the prawns. Mains we had a mixed grill for one abs another curry. So much delicious food we had to get a doggy bag!!! We will definitely be back nd also get a takeaway.

I have been there on saturday to try thali and its so delicious. The ambience is nice, staff is very enthusiastic and friendly. Food tastes amazing. I will recommend everyone to try thalis here. Overall i had a very good time in sai and its a must visit place for authentic indian food.

The best indian food I’ve ever had! The curries are flavourful, perfect spice, good hygiene and amazing ambience! The staff is super friendly and i cannot wait to come back for another meal!!

Shocked and Disgusted! Never thought I’d find a rubber band in my food!! This was found in the chicken starter and the manager tried to make a joke out of it. Absolutely no shame at all which was the most disappointing part about it. He explained that it must’ve come from the coriander, which makes me think they don’t wash it?!? I can understand that sometimes these things can happen - but it wasn’t treated with seriousness and it felt like they didn’t really care because they were busy anyway. I will tell others not to come and I won’t come, solely based on the lack of care about the situation. Shameful.

Really enjoyed the visit to Sai. I asked for something spicy and the chef’s special lamb was bang on point! The sag paneer and pilau rice were less of a firecracker but remain note worthy for texture and flavour. Very enjoyable. I hope to return soon.

Not the greatest takeaway we’ve had.....the naan bread had a soapy/ cheesy taste to it and the food was very average. Also felt it was a bit expensive for what we had.

I’ve been here twice now and it’s one of the places that really stands out in my memory for providing some of the best Indian food in the South. I’ve eaten plenty of Indian dishes in Delhi and Mumbai and the UK and various other places and was still impressed by the food here. Would love to come back for the bottomless brunch.

Lovely meal for a special family birthday where everyone had great food. Decent space around the table also, which is nice. Best naans and parithas that we've had in ages.

Great food at atmosphere but confusion around the menu meant no one got what they initially thought. Thoroughly would recommend but for those who like to plan what you are eating before you arrive, best to come with an open mind and you’ll still be happy by the end.

Had a meal with friends here last Friday and all the dishes we tried were delicious. Different choices from those usually offered in Indian restaurants, all freshly cooked,the lamb cooked and served in a clay pot was exceptional and a chocolate samosa for desert was much enjoyed. Service friendly and efficient,little wonder it was packed by 8.45pm.

I am not sure how you can call yourself serving Punjabi cuisine (or even Indian cuisine for that matter). I am sorry to say so but this is one of the most tasteless food I had in many many years. Never again! Being a Punjabi I would say don’t bring bad name to Indian/Punjabi food - this is not even close. I mean who puts so much sweet-corn in biryani and soya beans. Please try free recipes from YouTube/internet.

Heard about this restaurant some time ago so eventually decided to give it a visit. I was pleasantly surprised. It was much better than your normal Indian restaurant. The food was excellent. Very reasonably priced and the service was excellent too. Will be visiting again soon.

A great Indian restaurant. Meat is well cooked (tender rather than the usual over cooked, dry and hard one), the naan and sauces are really lovely, and the personal is polite and helpful. High quality value restaurant for casual dinners.

Had really high expectations for this place but unfortunately it really didn't meet any of them. The positives are the staff were very nice, the décor was great and the food is all Halal. Sadly, the food was quite bland and really lacked flavour (for me). Considering the price we paid, I can't honestly say it was worth it in the slightest. Extremely disappointed on this one!

Working our way through the Indian restaurants in the area, the food from Sai was good, we had Chef’s special Laal Maas (really hot, only for the masochists) and butter chicken, both very tasty, nice deep flavours. Cost is at the upper end of the scale and it did did take a long time to arrive (probably a good sign, but don’t leave it till you’re starving on a Saturday!).

food was absolutely stunning, (loved the chilli garlic squid), ambience was lovely, customer service was simply outstanding, especially the young boy tilack, they really did everything they could to make our meal as enjoyable as possible, would definitely return!

First time back to Sai since Covid hit. Our meal tonight started off on the terrace with a drink whilst waiting for our take away. Perfect. Our peshwari nan failed to reach the bag which we noticed when we got home, but was delivered by the boss within 10 mins. 5* treatment with a smile. Thank you for doing that as it was all that our daughter wanted with her chicken tikka! Delicious meal and reminded us how much we missed this top quality restaurant. Only problem is, we will always need to behave when we do visit, the boss knows where we live.🤪
