Tonight we had one of the best cooked meals ever in Saffron. The food was fantastic. As usual the staff were a credit to the restaurant, very friendly and knowledgeable and made you feel like you were part of their family. Would recommend you eat here for the whole experience. Where do I start one of the best indian Restaurant in Hoddesdon . Very friendly staff and the owner Sam is fantastic to cater for all our needs. Good food and great atmosphere too . Will be going there again and again If you are ever in Hoddesdon it's a must visit Resturant. Jeff

After reading all good reviews we decided to go . we were looking forward to sunday banquet. nice dips poppadoms and starters but main was awful. Very bland balti and buna which pretty much tasted the same as each other with no depth of flavour or spices just watery tomotoe sauce And bombay potatoes had even less taste Very dissapointing !! Wont be returning !

Absolutely beautiful place for me and my girlfriend. The food was top notch one of the best Indians I’ve been to and I’m from Birmingham and have atleast 2 a week. Definitely will be back when I’m over that area. The extra at the end was a lovely touch and the service was great also. Will be back!

Absolutely brilliant service from Jay, Josh and Habib. Food was delicious and just perfect. From the moment we walked in we felt relaxed and enjoyed our Christmas meet up. Very well done and compliments to the chef. The flavours can't be described, taste the food to believe it. Lovely evening.

On arrival at the restaurant I was warmly greeted by the friendly staff who made me feel very welcome. The service was outstanding and very attentive. The menu has a lot of different options on offer and the food is highly recommended and was hot and delicious. The venue is spotlessly clean and the toilets was looked after too.. In my opinion the best Indian restaurant in Hoddesdon and the surrounding area.

We visited one evening when it was quiet. The staff were attentive and polite. The menu varied to suit many tastes. The starters were very enjoyable. However the service was somewhat slow considering there were few customers. Our meals were not as we expected from reviews. Although perfectly edible, they lacked the variety of tastes associated with Asian restaurants menus and we were disappointed.

Takeaway for my birthday... Everything was excellent - particularly the Chicken Madras, and the Tarka Dhal. Prompt delivery. This is now my restaurant of choice for takeaways.

Great customer service. Really accomodating when I called up a couple of times to change booking. Staff were really friendly. Food was really good - loved the array of dips served with the poppadoms. Enjoyed everything that we ordered. The restaurant had a good atmosphere. It was fairly quiet on the night we went but this was probably due to the hot weather!! Would definitely recommend.

Had a delivery, not eaten from this restaurant before and never will again , the meat you can tell comes from frozen as all cubed , and everything is covered in garlic ! , very disappointing, there are much better Indian restaurants in the area ,

Check your bill...over charged us , when challenged came out with poor excuses, said prices had gone up !!! what from ordering to when we got the bill...don't think so... Won't be back ..

Visit Safron when we can, staff are great, very friendly and happy to describe dishes. They will even make a dish that's not on the menu for you. Food is well cooked and a good sized portion. It's a nice clean restaurant that I would recommend

No customer service from Manager. Very poor. Always shouting and raising his voice at staff. Doesn’t do much his self. Needs training!! Staff very nice and friendly. However, he needs to learn some manners. Great shame because food is good!

We had been here once before and really rated it but it was on a fairly quiet Sunday evening and it was lovely. This time we went on a busy Saturday night and it was still excellent. The service was truly exceptional. The manager had to move us to a different table which we didn't mind at all but he couldn't apologise enough! The food was amazing and came to the table promptly and piping hot. Thoroughly enjoyable evening, we will definitely be back.

Me and a beautiful lady decided to have an Indian night at Saffron. The hospitality was great, they are really nice people. The presentation of the food was good and the food stayed hot. The decor was nice and the place was clean which is a big plus. The downside was that the food was a tad bland especially for a indian cuisine however this might be what we ordered. I expected flavoursome food, this can be something to work on in the future to make the experience better. Overall the restaurant is great, we would definitely be coming again soon, maybe. The hot towels was a nice finish.

This restaurant is very different to most restaurants serving Indian Food. They serve dishes with a uniqueness of their own. I had the best and tastiest Chat I have ever had followed by a wonder duck dish. Well worth visiting. The staff are also very friendly and the prices are good..

Our first time to Saffron and certainly won't be our last. Service was exceptional, the food was amazing, the best curry we've had in a very long time. Our sister in law is from Calcutta and said the bread was just perfect, as was her curry! Great value too, Saffron comes highly recommended, you'll not be disappointed!!

Always a good meal in there , but this evening was bellow standards , watery curry and not hot tasted like it had been microwaved. Oion barges not cooked and gave me a bad stomach . Disappointed.👎🏻

Food is absolutely amazing! Always comes out perfect and boiling hot! by far the best Indian we have ever had and have even returned twice in one week! Staff are very friendly and accommodating! All wearing face masks and gloves and all very clean! Can’t wait to come back again!

Staff not wearing any kind of PPE. Crowded waiting area. Dirty tables. I hate to think what their kitchens look like. Staff very rude especially one called Sammy or Sonny, something like that. Do yourselves a favour and look elsewhere! We left.
