Good quality and selection of food.

This was our first visit, good to see so much choice with the fresh food. I am sure you could have found everything you wanted here. It was no wonder that people were filling their baskets.

Love this shopping store. Products are beautifully presented. Great menus and sandwiches to eat straight away.

One of my favourite grocery stores. Although pricey, the items on offer here are of good quality and not always found in your typical high street supermarkets. The takeaway buffet is topped up regularly and fresh pizza is sold in the bakery by the slice.

I liked it, but it was very much like a Whole Foods in America. And so I shopped at Marks & Spencer. Never seen one of those in the states.

Absolutely wonderful supermarket with the freshest foods I’ve ever seen. So many tempting options as you walk through the shop and see fresh pizza, freshly baked bread, pastries and cakes, ready made food, salads & hot meals. I can’t afford to shop here often and don’t live in the area, but it is worth the trip every now and then, especially if I find myself in the Kensington area. There are also many local, ethical and high quality brands you won’t find elsewhere.

The mini-wine bottles on the stand alone shelf are placed very close to the hot food section, which may cause the wines to overheat and degrade, as the mini-wine bottle I purchased was warm and tasted sour when consumed. I live miles away from the store, and Wholefoods online made no effort to refund me remotely, they didn’t even offer a voucher for the defective wine, so I have been left out of pocket. Also the Wholefoods pre-packaged ready-made meals were disappointing, the jerk chicken thighs were substandard, you should use free range organic meat instead, the lasagne was okay but had too much cheese.

This is already second time within two weeks that im facing with quality situation of products at wholefoods. I am very disappointed of current situation of items in this store. Today i bought pack of mandarines and raspberries where the both was mouldy. Las week i found hair on packed chicken! Shame on you!! High prices but very low quality

It doesn't matter if you need to purchase something for yourself or something interesting and tasty to bring back as souvenir. Personally bought quite a lot of British chocolate from here.

Love the place. A bit more expensive but the layout and the goods inside it are amazing. The cooked food ,both hot and salads, is very good. Each time I am in the area I try to have lunch there.

Good selection of take away foods for lunch but the supermarket itself is way way way too overpriced. £33 for a small packet of fresh mango slices. Which costs £3 on other supermarkets, double the size.

Went there for groceries for a long stay, limited items but main complaint was the garlic I purchased was all growing when I cut them open.

I love this brand, you can find very good products there, there are often small promotions, which is not insignificant, hot cooked meals, soups, salads, a pizza bar... in short for everyone tastes ! I go there every time I come to London.

Awful Pizza is now tasteless and the slices shrunk. Half the variety is gone. No whole foods branded items. Mostly what you can get in any high street supermarket. And a gentleman who works approached my child encouraging him to try a ketchup sample. I already told him no. He persisted. Been a WF customer since 1998. Worse and worse in UK, USA and Canada since Amazon purchased.

Expensive but has a variety of produce

Place went downhill in the past few years. Hot food counter is disgusting. No more juice bar. Absolutely mass market supermarket vibe now rather than niche what it used to be.

I have always shopped at Wholefoods but I am beginning to question their brand integrity and if they even care what they are feeding their customers nowadays. I’m not sure if they have a new buyer but selling Mcvitties hobnobs, ritz crackers and Kellogg’s crunchy nut has made me lose total trust in the products they sell. I would go there because I trusted they were selling brands with WHOLE FOODS but it seems profits are more important so have jumped on the processed garbage. Very disappointed, thankfully Planet Organic still have standards and care about the products they supply and where they came from. Hopefully someone speaks to the buyer and they but things right.

One of the best whole foods in the UK, if not the best. Customer service is great, produce is always top of the line. From fruits and veg grown organically in the UK to imported fruits from Thailand and the Philippines, all perfectly ripe and the best quality produce. Always worth a stop of you're in the area.

Good for finding everything you need but the Lavera sunscreen is not only expensive (fine, it's good quality) but the bottle is rubbish and the pump doesn't work. I've thrown away the receipt so can't take it back.

Unnaffordable poncy shop for the gentrified.

This is probably the best place to grocery shop in all of central London if you like high quality food.

Always had a really enjoyable experience every Sunday when doing the weekly shop. Sunday dinner is a takeaway from the hot bar selection which up until 3 weeks ago always had an excellent selection of beef meatballs, roasted salmon, herb chicken, jerk chicken and beef lasagne. Last three weeks have only had chicken and today one chicken selection. When asking staff on where is a fuller range of protein, there has been no sensible answer. The staff are standing around uninterested and speaking to each other in Hindi on the sales floor. Have contacted head office twice and no real explanation. Today we are told by a sensible member of staff that other customers are asking the same question, where are the other protein choices? The only explanation, the staff forgot to prepare any. Very poor choice, I don’t won’t chicken drumsticks which I am being charged for mainly bones. Or is the intention to up the weight by limiting boneless choices of protein?

Great specialized groceries market, excellent choices of items, offering complete selections on all groceries items, bakery, dairy products, wines, beer, and many more, also offering organic products, grass fed meats, free range chicken etc ... 👍🏼👌👍🏼

I am coming back to london in April. I loved top floor with its restaurants and I was due to find an hotel nearby with my daughter. Unfortunately I read on a comment that it had closed. Are the top floor restaurants due to reopen? thank you very much!

Sadly for Whole Foods I was one of their original customers when this store first opened here in the UK in Kensington High Street so I have witnessed how over time the quality of service/range of products has regressed so badly.Obviously COVID did no favours but that is no excuse.The change of management too has noticeably been a major factor in it's deterioration.To give one example the store originally made up it's own delicious healthy juices on site now they come pre bottled by a separate company with quite a long shelf life which is never a good sign and to be honest the taste and quality is very average.I would love to be giving a 5 star review but I have to be honest 2 stars is much more realistic now!

Quite pricey but so fun to browse the fancy food aisles, and they really have good products that cannot be found elsewhere in London. The skincare section is great. The small food court is quite nice too.

Maybe because I grew up in another country I cannot justify these prices. I think they can dupe high end UK customers who think they are paying for quality food when in reality is just normal market produce in most countries. I like the variety of the products here, it is just overpriced

She kindly picked out the 2 items I needed and let me pay at customer service, forgoing the long line at the tills. She was also very friendly and cheerful considering it was likely a manic day. Oh what a lovely Sanctuary of wholesome fresh and cupboard foods, hot foods, household and beauty products!! It's our favourite haunt on a cold dark evening when we fancy a wholesome meal rather than going to a restaurant. The pizzas and hot food buffets are delicious. So much variety. The fresh cake slices are also incredible. The staff super lovely and charming. Went for dinner there yesterday and left my kombucha which we paid for, at the self checkout by mistake. We realised this later and after the meal. We had thrown away the receipt. We explained this to the dark haired lady behind the till and she informed us that her colleague had indeed found one there and put it back. Even without a receipt she kindly let us pick up the kombucha which we had left behind. What lovely and charming staff and 5* service!! We are regulars and will continue to be.

Great spot to grab lunch then head back to the office. Salad bar is great. Not tried the pizza but it looks great. Good selection of wines for when heading home too. All you would expect from a whole foods.

While this is on a small piece of real estate, they've managed to pack a fair amount of good products in this store. We've shopped in Whole Foods around the world. I book hotels based on how close we can be to a WF; a health necessity. One of the more charming aspects to this WF is its posh clientele. Keep your eyes open! Only negative was, the lines to check out where long.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with a recent customer service incident :( After paying for my food at the self-service, I received an urgent call and tried to pack my items quickly at same time , a staff member forcefully intervened, pushing me away and placing the food in my personal bag close to her which contained new (! ) clothes , it wasn’t a bag for food. This was a highly uncomfortable intrusion, and the staff's behavior was rude. P.S. pls don’t buy a turkey from hot bar there , it’s not edible at all and quality of meat is very bad

Disgraceful! Substandard produce. FOUL SMELLING, RANCID Moldovan walnuts falsely labelled as ‘Californian' in the self-serving dispensers. I will report Whole Foods Market to the local council for false information. They need to be investigated and fined.

Always a fantastic store with very very good food

I Pop in more often now my son has discovered how great their cakes are. Many are made onsite, and you can really taste the difference, these really taste home baked. Large selection of everything 😄. Have a large seating area so you can buy breakfast or lunch from the food hall and sit down...was nice and quiet the morning I was there 👍

Has loads of stuff. It’s unsurprisingly a bit pricy but you can definitely find things here that would be difficult finding in other high street shops.

There is almost no reason anymore to go to Whole Foods vs Waitrose. First really nice cheese section disappeared, then you are pushing to use self service, now you removed grains and nuts section with no comparable substitute in terms of choice. Logical next step is to close the store. UPD (8 November): grains and nuts section is here again. That's amazing. However, would be also great if anybody among the stuff would be aware of what the plans are. Things just disappear and then appear with staff saying "oh, I don't no"

I have IBS. I collected my shopping, had to urgently go to the toilet, left the shop, after paying for my items. The security guard them accused me of stealing food and banned me from the store! He shouted at me whilst I was digging around for the receipt, and after producing it, continued to accuse me which was baffling!!! I am now banned from whole foods for “stealing” - despite having paid for everything! I tried to go in to the shop a few weeks after this, and was threatened with the police… FOR WHAT? Going to the toilet before paying? Spoke to the manager, who apologised and allowed me to return. A week later and I am in the toilet with the security guard screaming through the door smashing his fist on it. I am not someone who likes to complain, but it is a massive inconvenience not being allowed in here. I am accused of shoplifting when I ask the other security guards what I did - I asked them to give me a list of what I supposedly took… nothing, and the security guard who “caught” me says I was “doing something suspicious in the toilet”, and threatens to call the police - again, despite having not stolen anything, merely for using the toilet before buying something once. I don’t know how to resolve this because the security barely speaks English and becomes irate at the first sign of challenge. Whole Foods was a convenient place I could work at lunch. It is now a nightmare I can’t even enter without being verbally attacked for doing nothing. Who do I speak to about this?

However, I lost an item - my yellow umbrella who was gifted - in the toilets and when I checked to see if it was there ,it wasn’t found, someone took it. Lovely place but overpriced, for me anyway. A small box from the salad bar (pasta, spinach, peppers)- £10.19. We stood at the counter in actual shock. Other than that, nice food and nice layout.

A fancier and cleaner version of the typical UK supermarket, offering fresh healthy foods, delicious cakes and snacks, salad bars and hot foods (e.g. chicken, lasagne, soup, pizza). Wonderful selection of different brands that aren't usually offered in other stores. The pumpkin pie sold here is delicious. A dining area is located just after the tills where you can eat whatever you've just purchased. Nice relaxing environment. Toilets and florist located downstairs.

My head is spinning round with the words, "Twenty four pounds" being repeated, over and over again, as the world spins and I descend into a psychedelic spiral of bananas and pasta with a bit of potato salad. The reason? I just paid literally £24 for a bottle of water, 4 bananas, and two small boxes of pasta/potato salad. Yes, £24. Apparently the boxes of pasta are done by weight - so the £1.89 I saw must have been per gram or something. £24. I still keep saying it. For a couple of pounds more, I could have got a 2 course weekday lunch for that in my local Michelin stared restaurant. Oh my, £24, I just can't stop repeating it. Terrible pricing clarity from this shop. £1.89.... haha.

Your supposedly 100% pomegranate fresh juice is just a concentrate diluted with apple juice. Have you guys lost the plot? I'm bying pomegranate juice but all it is is apple juice with a dash of pomegranate. You think people can't taste it? Even the colour is off.

Good choice of foods and grocery stuff. It’s a bit pricey though
