Excellent service! Very customer focused. Friendly with a sharp eye on what makes customers want to come back. I've been here twice now and will be going back again. Generous portions! Extremely generous!

Ordered twice from here first time picked up they gave me the wrong order went back and was told I had to pay more with no apologies. Tonight did delivery turnt with with half order missing called and the manager was rude said I put it in and put the phone down, had to drive from Radlett they then “ accidentally” still didn’t give us the full order once home. Totally disappointed won’t ever order again poor customer service from manager.

I bought chips with chicken wings with chilli sauce but very disappointed it was lunch time not even busy and guess what I got cold chips and smell in the chicken i paid £6 pounds etc very disappointed 😞

Really good food for this price, great quantity and quickly made ready. The fries were very good.

Good size ‘large’ meal. Freshly cooked fish and chips. (Could do with a bit more vinegar on the chips, my fault for not asking)

Used to have good food it’s gone so bad lately they changed oils Chips is rotten now fish is soggy and stale small portions staff are so rude very snappy they used too be nice and friendly not no more. won’t take cards on less over £12 . Last week I witnessed with my own eyes a southern fried chicken fall from the fryer on the floor and guy picking it up and thought no one was looking he put it in the glass hot cabinet.. never eat there again I honestly used to eat there with 4 years never again

Ordered large cod and chips as it was my husbands birthday Whow he so enjoyed them so tasty and a very large portion would recommend

I pass by here to visit family regularly. Every so often I’m asked to pick some fish and chips along the way. It’s a small unassuming place on a very small high street. There never seems to be any fish precooked ready to take away, which is a good thing. It means it’s cooked to order which they do very well. Moist and flaky on the inside, crispy batter on the outside. The large cod they serve is huge, good enough for two people whilst a large chips will serve three. The regular fish are a good size too. It’s pretty good value too.

This has got to be 1 of the worst portion of chips I’ve ever had they looked very orange like the fat had not been changed and also the pukka pie I had was like cardboard it had obviously been reheated too many times. I ended up putting in the bin and had beans on toast, absolutely disgusting and dissatisfied will not ever use them again and would definitely not recommend.

Friendly staff and nice freshly cooked food. Always a good choice and usually quiet as it's a little tucked out of the way so not much of a que even at the weekend.

Love this place they do every thing here for good price

i ordered a take away for the first time .2 pitta bread every single meat seperate salad .even the chilli and mint sauce were in there own containers .it would have fed 3 people with 1 more pitta bread for 15 pounds ps the meat was in a container of its own full to the top.will only buy from there now .

Over expensive 6 pound for 2 sausages and re heated chips, chip shops should learn it is not acceptable to reheat chips they end up tasting rubbish and customers are not fooled

This is the bst fish and chips, I’ve ever had. Been eating our national dish for 42years. Yes this is the best I’ve had. They’re definitely doing something right at Rumbles. Very nice friendly people. I’ll be back once a week regular. I don’t normally write reviews, but had to on this occasion.

Awful, chips were soggy, chicken was dry and had obviously been sat there for hours, and none of the food had any flavour :(

Pop in and order some sausage and chips. The sausage was good and hot. The chips were hot but felt the taste and quality wasn't that great and there are a lot better places that do have better chips

Having just moved to the area we were looking for a local chippy. After reading reviews thought we'd try rumbles. Unfortunately we were disappointed with our food. The chips were dry and by the time I had finished my burger were cold. My husband had to heat his chips in the microwave as that was all he ordered. My veggie burger was however tasty and the bun fresh. Not sure whether we would use it regularly.

The Beefeater next to our hotel had problems with their kitchens, so we went out for a drive and passed the chippy. On the way back we called in to get a sausage and chips each. The chips were literally just out of the fryer and a huge portion. We took them back to our hotel room. They were lovely, a bottle of rose and Blueberry Muffins for dessert. We know how to live the high life :)

The medium chicken shish was very good and substantial enough for one hungry person. I imagine that the large would be too much. Value was excellent. The chips again were a good portion, but were soft and a little greasy. Service was excellent. There is plenty of parking around the corner and it is only 1.5 miles from the Noke hotel if your are staying there.

Have had both cod and chips and chicken shish kebab take aways from Rumbles in the last couple of weeks......what can I say but excellent!! Hot and freshly cooked each time, the cod was HUGE and the chips lovely and the chicken shish is absolutely spot on.....

Rumbles is an excellent far bar serving so much more than fish and chips. The menu is really good with lots of meal deals to choose from. Like burgers, ribs, chicken, wraps, kebabs and more. My teenage son and his friends love the meal deals. Really good value for money and a good size too.
