Ruby Palace in Omagh

One of the nicest and best chinese places in Omagh 🤤 never order from anywhere else now. new favourite everything is 10/10

I have ordered from this restaurant, the girl on the phone messed up my order she have missed chow mein off my order which was for my daughter and when I rang up she has took no blame whatsoever and blamed it on me saying i have not ordered it when I know i have as i wrote a list before ringing up and placing an order and it is on my list. Anyway, i will not order from here again they have no respect for customers as i have experienced tonight. Good advice if your ordering from here, check your order docket before paying for your food Incase something is missing from your order as i have seen a few other people have wrote very similar reviews so they keep messing up and not learning from it.

Very disappointed this evening. Our order was wrong my daughter had ordered the food and had to repeat the order twice. The food arrived and the curry sauce never arrived. When we contacted the restaurant the service was well below standard the girl who took the order was very rude and argumentive. They flatly refused to rectify the order. Staff development lacking here.

Best Chinese in omagh. Malaysian chicken curry to die for. Hot spicy noodles a must.

Transcendental curry which will make your toes and fingers curl up

I placed an order today for a vegetarian chilli sauce with mix vegetables. They got the order wrong and blamed me. Took zero blame themselves. Even when I have a witness saying other wise. What a joke and that is the last time they will take any money from me. They should be a shamed of that service.

We ordered meals tonight for a mother's day weekend meal. Our daughter had driven 90 miles to be here for the occasion. One of the meals was chicken and cashew nuts. The chicken had a jelly like texture and was completely tasteless. It was disgusting and totally inedible. It was nothing like any chicken I have ever seen or eaten before. My wife's meal was chicken chow mein, and it was possibly the worst chow mein we have ever had in over 40 years of eating Chinese food. It was dry and tasteless, very poor indeed. So what should have been a nice celebration together was totally ruined. Sorry Ruby Palace not good enough, we certainly won't be back. There are plenty of other places in the area to get better food.

would be a regular customer as the food is always delicious out of this Chinese but the service is terrible with unhelpful unapologetic staff told 30mins for a delivery but 80mins later still nothing won't be ordering again...

All round professional service from Dympna, timed my food to suit my taxi. Excellent fresh food, absolutely no complaints.

its takeaway the place looks clean the food is ok most of the time depending on your taste.not the best but not the worst. its worth a try .

We have been eating from different Chinese establishment in Our Local Omagh Area for over 20 yrs now. Recently we started to purchase from Ruby Palace. I would highly recommend This Chinese, The Food is of The Highest Standards, great quality, quantise & taste. The Lady operating & taking the phone in orders, on a Sat night, is excellent at Her job, knowing all there is to know about Chinese Cuisine All The Dishes on The Menu, what is exactly in each dish & what it is called. She is also Fantastic at helping me out when I'm stuck for a name or choice of dishes. She is extremely helpful on the telephone & more than welcoming when my hubby & son actually go in to pick up our order. Just a great experience all round. Only one problem, I just wish they did a sit down service also, as we would certainly be going in to sit down & avail of their great service & food on site. Thank you so much All at Ruby Palace keep up You Fantastic Work & Excellent Service. I would give 10+++++++ if I could.

I had noodles with mushroom and fried rice.The woman was very kind and we talk about Europa and jobless.Good taste.

Rough and ready but we enjoy the food from the Ruby Palace. Staff are always friendly and the cooks always smile and say hello to you when they see you. Only down side would be their chips. They taste as if they never change the oil they are cooked in. Other then that I'm always trying different meals and have yet to get anything that I couldn't eat. Keep up the good work

If it not on the menu u cant get it. Ie. Saugue supper u cant asks the the sauce separate if u want 2 chance it 2 curry. Box e i think it called. Curry box. U cant ask it 2b a mayalin curry. So u just have 2 take wat u get. Water in the chicken and all

This is our favourite Chinese takeaway in Omagh. It doesn't just limit itself to Chinese and Cantonese fare but also serves some beautiful Thai dishes also and of course my favourite, Malayan curry. We have never found the service slow but we usually phone in advance of collection. The staff are usually very friendly and there is always a portion of prawn crackers on the house which is a nice touch and very much appreciated.

Don't know where Justin Dreamz is talking about cause there's no sit-in Ruby Palace is only a take-away!!! Love this place!!

Ok been to this place 3 times in total. I thought maybe the 3rd time lucky approch might have worked for me but sad to say it let me down. Ok let me explain. On the first visit I popped into the take-away area of this place (as in FAST food). 1 hour later my chicken curry arrived! 2nd time in went there to the take-away 50 minutes later my sweet and sour chicken arrived! 3rd time after 45 minutes nothing had still arrived so I asked for my money back & it was thrown at me by the rude owner. All 3 times there really was not a large crowd waiting for take away. the staff seemed mmore interested in the sit in area than the take out! My advice, give this place a wide birth unless you have a few hours to spare hanging about!
