Wrong items sent and missing items. I ordered a chicken tikka masala and was sent a completely different curry - no idea what it was but extremely spicy which I couldn’t eat. Also didn’t receive the naan that we ordered.

Lovely taste…will definitely use again!

Six of us went for dinner last night and the food was fantastic. We had main courses with some side dishes rice and naans. I had chicken tikka with a madras sauce on the side and my wife had chicken tikka korai. The six of us tried each dishes and all of them were lovely. We also brought some nice wine and had a great evening.

Been waiting 2.5 hrs and still nothing. Called the restaurant and they said it’s left the restaurant that was 20 minutes ago and I live 5 minutes away!

We have been going most Friday nights for about 3 yrs now. The service is always very good, the staff are friendly and the food is consistenty excellent. They do not have a license to sell alcohol but Sainsbury is opposite to buy chilled wine or beer to take if wanted.

Lovely food with very friendly staff all reasonably priced you take your own alcohol which takes away a little bit of the magic involved in going out for a curry but overall a really nice place to have a meal a restaurant I would highly recommend.

Always manage to get a booking doesn't matter how busy they are and the food is excellent

Worst place ever to eat an Indians got food tasted like it was microwaved and it was cold curry was like hot water got a madras tasted like a pot noodle curry customer service absolutely disgusting guy was rude scratching his head and biting his nails over charged me for the food gave me wrong orders told them I’m allergic to nuts still gave me nuts all my family have thrown up wouldn’t recommend stay away

When the delivery time had passed we called them to find out where the food was and they said it was ready (getting cold) but there were no drivers to deliver it. Seems ordering from them on a weekend is not a good idea..

Better than the experience other day

Very disappointing recommended by friends, waiters not very attentive, or helpful, plus rude. Waited fair while before orders taken, starters come out wrong waited but no action from staff. Waited a long time for mains all just warm asked to reheat, asked three times for salads for the meals do not arrive, we had given up at this point, just paid and left, would not eat here again. They do loads of takeaways and appears they give priority to them, which should be the other way round in our option.

Been here many times before & been meaning to write a review but after tonight’s visit I had to take the plunge, three of us went tonight, myself wife & youngest daughter, the food was amazing, freshly cooked with tasty ingredients. Started with popadoms & lovely fresh condiments, For mains we ordered a prawn jalfrezi, chicken tikka korai & a chicken bhuna, 2 vegetable rice, 1 crispy naan, sag aloo & onion bhajis, they all arrived freshly cooked, beautifully presented with a decorated assortment of fresh herbs & spices. The bill was £54 for without doubt the best Indian/curry I’ve had in a long time - it’s also bring your own alcohol for no extra corkage which is a bonus. Best Indian/curry house around here for miles.

A regular on eating in and moreso on take outs, flavours are always good, just would like more meat or fish in the dishes like of auld

Ordered a delivery an hour and a half ago. Constantly told 5 mins. As usual unable to hear what the staff are saying due to the back ground noise. No respect for long time customers. Finally told them to do one. Obviously don't need our business.

Dissapointed with the quality of food. I have never eaten such sugary matar paneer and stuffed paratha with no stuff inside.

Under par service this evening. Sorry! Chicken Tikka Masala missing and the other meals weren’t piping hot as they usually are. Used this restaurant for years . The phone messages were full so we were unable to contact you. I’ve requested a refund for the missing meal.

Best curry I've had in a long time at this price point. Four of us had a starter, 4 mains, 3 rice, Bombay aloo and paratha and 3 coffees afterwards and it was £20 per head inc tip! They don't have a licence so you can BYOB. I ordered a chicken madras but actually got a lamb madras in error. I'm normally reticent to order lamb dishes because they tend to be quite tough but this was very tender and absolutely delicious, in fact the madras flavour/heat was absolutely spot on and a delight for me. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and agreed we will be returning in the near future. The brewed coffee was served with cream and brown sugar in a nice large cup and was a level above the normal instant coffee a lot of restaurants serve now.

Dined in with family . Great service and lovely food . Very attentive friendly staff . Food was out fast and really good food too .would definitely eat in there again .5 stars all the way .

Amazing food and large portions

I was staying in the area while on vacation and got take out - butter chicken and an appetizer - service was quick and very friendly. The butter chicken was delicious - fresh (not rubbery) with a great fragrant rice and perfect amount of spice. I was very surprised to have read the negative reviews afterwards but am grateful I didn't see them before or would've missed out on a great meal.

Good food as always however we were not impressed with the mushroom bhaji, made with tinned mushrooms tasted like water.

Took an hour and a half to arrive and only came after I called. Also there were missing items from the delivery

If I could give you 0 stars I would. Chicken Korma was 5 pieces of chicken in a sweet coconut puree don't think any spice made it in to the recipe, couldn't eat it. Lamb Tikka masala 6 tiny bits of lamb....

Best takeaway. Delicious meal for two cost the same as fish and chips, which I now consider too expensive. Occasional treat and thoroughly enjoyed. Thankyou Royal India 🇮🇳

Got a takeaway from the royal India in Worcester park Gave me a completely wrong order I’m allergic to fish got a fish starter And lots of items I didn’t order so put the meal straight in the bin I cycled there so didn’t check the bag until after 12 as I stopped to have a pint at the willow When I phoned the next day and complained they refused to give me a free curry or a refund So be aware folks there be dragons amongst us Shame as used to be a nice restaurant

Ordered a take away last night and these nice people decided to change my order and we thoroughly enjoyed it.. although we would order again but all the dishes were named Marlon.. 10/10

Average taste as per Indian cuisine. Can improve in regards to the variety of menu items as most of all the curry's have same sweet-tomato taste which is a big NO for authentic Indian taste. Thumbs up for the Naans as they can customize them according to your choice. THEY DON'T SERVE ALCOHOL SO PLEASE BYOB (BRING YOUR OWN BOOZE)

Had a table booked for 7.30pm and its not the 1st time there was no table 4 us disgusting service and will not go there again rating 0

Only five pieces of chicken in two meals and late Disappointed

When it arrived, the food was very tasty. However, my order arrived almost a full hour late. The main course servings could have been better and I was surprised to find no sauce with the seekh kebab. The chapatis were also a bit stodgy, like they’d come out of the oven slightly too soon. I would recommend the restaurant for the food, but be prepared to wait quite a while for it to arrive.

We ordered a large order for 12 people. The food was hot and great. Nothing missing at all which is always a worry with a big order. Well done!

Absolutely poor! made an order at 6:15 pm on Friday for delivery, told 60-70 mins over 2 hours later and after 3 calls food finally arrived. Had been a customer for a long time and will now never use them again . Rude and no customer skills. 0* but have to give 1 as min

Go most Fridays. Great foot, great service and the waiters are very friendly. Would not go every week if it was not so good. Also great value for money.

Great food, thier delivery is pants, especially on Saturday night. We just had a Just Eat delivery over half a half late, that’s on top of rather long estimated delivery time. Shame because it is rather good food.

Food quality is good but restaurant did not pay attention to instructions. Asked that Special Nan should not contain meat/mince but request totally ignored. Delivery arrived 45 minutes after indicated delivery time. No complementary extras offer by competitors.

Shopped around for a number of years till I tried this place and have stayed with them ever since. Food is always good.

Food is very good, always tasty but could be bit more generous with meat, You can almost count the pieces.

Waited over two hours for a delivery! I called them to see where it was to be told a driver is on his way. To wait another 45 mins. I ended up driving to the shop to collect my own takeaway after three hours !!! I then asked for a refund which they refused! When we got the food it was very cold and we ordered spinach and potatoes to have just spinach!! I will not be ordering from here again. Terrible service and staff are very rude just laughed at the fact we waited three hours !!!

There's no excuse for giving such small amounts of meat when you're paying these prices. Three pieces of lamb in my Lamb Tikka Masala! Plenty of sauce though, that costs them little. Too much sugar in the sauce though, it was almost confectionary. Will I be going back again for more? Have a wild guess

I have lived in Worcester Park for 24 years but never been to the Royal India before - I think because it is tucked away at the top of the high street. Now I have found it I will keep coming back. For a start, it smells really great when you go in. Also the decor and seating is good/comfortable and the staff are very welcoming. It doesn't have an alcohol licence, so it's a BYO but actually that means your meal is half the price. You can bring along whatever you like to drink and they will provide a glass (& ice) without charging corkage. The food was really great! We had 2 lovely curries and sides and naans and it was all delicious. The icing on the cake though, and I wish I could give a 6th star, was that I dropped my cloth face mask when I left, and wandered off home down the high street, stopping in at Sainsbury's Central for something. Imagine my surprise when a waiter from the restaurant found me in an aisle and gave me back my mask. Over and beyond customer service! 6 stars and we will be back!!

Nearly an hour late and an item wrong

Admittedly its Mothers day but only ordered from here for a keema curry. 2 phone calls to chase, order arrives 2 hours after placing and its a lamb curry. Not impressed.

Main curry dishes were absolutely awful Chicken in main and also starter, dry as a bone Lamb in main curry was like rocks and when you got in tasted out of date. Shocking. I’ve used this restaurant by name for sit in and takeaways for well over a decade. This is a shambles. ps for takeaway 0.6m so no excuses there.

Food is great but service suffers. Called the restaurant after waiting 20 min past delivery time and they did not care too much. 35 minutes past the delivery time the food arrived.

Weren’t very bothered when called to say an hour late . Not impressed. Was therefore cold when arrived

Had to wait for my food despite being given a time to collect. Get home and find the food cold..... so it's not fresh. And they gave me a plain naan instead of a peshwari naan. Call them and ask them to deliver the correct naan as I am not going to come out again as I have started eating and they say that they are not sure that the naan is correct despite me telling them that I have opened it and not eaten it and so they can check themselves. They said that I'll need to come and collect the correct naan as they are too busy. I told them that it is their fault and they should correct it but they refused. These guys are prepared to lose a customer rather than fix their mistake. That says it all.

It was not a properly cooked food. Chappatis were half cooked and packed in cheap plastic cover Mattar paneer was a mix of sugar, coconut milk, very few pieces of paneer and peas- they didn’t even heat it, absolutely no taste, felt very bad when binning it

Lovely food as always. It’s by far the best Indian food near here. It turned up quite early so we weren’t really ready for it but we appreciate they’re busy and we were hungry so not really an issue
