Rocca in Coleraine

Use to come here quite often for cuppa and scone, not cheap but nice for a treat with fruit scones costing £2.50. Called in yesterday and fruit scone now costs £3.25 and much smaller and had a total of 4 raisins. Won't be back.

Great place for food when in Coleraine. Reasonably priced and good service.

Had lunch here on Saturday. As usual, food was amazing! Great value for money, portions are generous and the service was fab! Nothing too much trouble, got us a table straight away even with 2 prams and the place being very busy. Will be back soon 😊

I love the place. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a variety of seating options. Relaxed environment. Very friendly staff.

Food and traybakes are fantastic. staff are always friendly and helpful.

Excellent service in a warm, inviting atmosphere with an extensive menu.

A disappointing very tough chicken burger which was replaced by the staff member but the second one wasn't any better. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Not many places open on a Sunday, it was simply fortune that brought us here. I feel we were lucky!

Nice little place with an atmosphere, where most locals probably eat. We had poached eggs, avocado and sourdough, with a really good coffee, a simple breakfast. Be aware that bacon is more like a ham, so if you’re expecting the American style- that’s not it 🙂 The dish we had was about 10£ . Charming place.

Nourriture correcte mais c'est tout. Un peu déçus par rapport aux avis. Mais on voit que c'est un endroit prisé par les locaux donc ça c'est chouette.

One of the best places in Coleraine for lunch! The atmosphere is chilled out, the food is excellent, and it feels very family friendly. Would highly recommend.

Shared a meal with my daughter who is gluten and dairy intolerant. Staff very helpful and well prepped with a separate menu created by the chef who himself is gluten intolerant. I had the penne pasta chilli chicken which was beautiful and my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her gluten free burger and chips. Now at the top of our list to visit when we meet up.

Lovely scones with jam and cream. Good coffee too. Huge choice of traybakes. The petite fours are a good idea as you can sample more of the bakes. Will be visiting again

Been to Rocca MANY times, it’s always a pleasant, & delicious experience. I can particularly recommend the Seafood Chowder, or their soup of the day. 👏🏻✨

Despite this restaurant being open for ages, last week was my first visit. The place was busy but there were some seats still available for my wife, daughter and myself. The menu was good and catered for vegetarians and carnivores alike. The ordering process was good and gave a chance to see the jolly chefs working in the background. I had a burger and fully enjoyed it. Next time I think I'll have the Chowder. This restaurant gets the Quad Damage seal of approval.

Really good food and very reasonably priced. Will definitely be back. Enjoyed by all the family.

Had an amazing lunch here with my parents in law and my kids. Order and pay at the counter. Lovely fresh chicken goujons and big chunky chips for the children. Adults all went for the same picking goats cheese and beetroot salad. Absolutely delicious, I will be thinking about that for a while! Staff friendly and helpful despite being very busy. I also left my handbag behind, to then receive a Facebook message the next day from a member of staff informing me I had🙈. Lovely place, busy every time I've been in. Lots of tables.

We always enjoy a wee lunch in Roca, the salad with goats cheese, beetroot and pear is delicious!

When you walk into Rocca it has a very homely and relaxing atmosphere the decor is lovely and gives a relaxing feeling the staff are very friendly and efficient and go out of there way to help you the menu variety is well laid out and varied to suit all tastes so it's well worth a visit

Fantastic food and really friendly staff I was a bit late for hot food but was still served a generous portion piping hot and tasted fantastic. Cannot fault this place at all perfect place for lunch.

15 minute Wait in queue to order food. Then 30 minute wait at the table whilst others after us got their food. Finally got someone to ask where our lunch was. When she came back she had to ask what we had ordered. So we asked for money back and left. Unacceptable.

It was 5 star rating but changing today after the treatment from the manager who "couldn't be bothered" with my complaint about stale 'fresh' tray bakes.

July 4th 22. Went to roccos with my wife for lunch today. I had the large burger with the thickest chips I have ever seen. My wife had gougons & same chips. Both meals had a dressed salad garnish. Food was excellent staff were friendly & helpful. Price was great. Will return soon. Stephen

Extremely friendly staff, rapid service, very attentive to celiac needs (gluten free) and great for families with small children. Loved the decor and general mood of the place. Would highly recommend. Oh and the food was delicious!

Had lunch here during a visit to Coleraine. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was very busy when we arrived but food still came promptly. Food was very good, would return if we are in Coleraine again.

Great eating place never disappoints

Staff are always extremely friendly and helpful. The menu has great variety and a kids menu is also available. Each time we’ve visited, the food has been amazing! Particularly love the peppered sauce! The restaurant itself is always clean and there are plenty of tables to choose from.

Soup of the day and salads always delicious, great that they cater so well for gluten free too!

Had the Rocca Grill for breakfast here this morning, fantastic food and service.

OMG what a lovely bunch of people, staff couldn't have been nicer. I went in for lunch and left at t time 😂😂 Food was amazing and I just had a great time. I told my mum where I had been and she said her and her friends go to Rocca everytime they're in Coleraine so it's well known for being great. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend xxx

Had our Christmas lunch today table booked for 7 people. I have to say it was amazing. The service from start to finish was brilliant. Our meal was delicious hot and very tasty. I have to say a big thanks to all the staff in rocca for a lovely afternoon just before Christmas. HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL🎅🧑‍🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🤶

Food ok but table and cutlery were not clean

I live in Manchester, but when I come home this is always my choice for lunch when in town. Not your average "cafe" experience - great food, nice environment, good prices. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Staff are very friendly. Came today with my granny, and it was so good that she went up and told the lady at the till how brilliant our lunch experience was. Granny had the pate and I had the festive ciabata- both 10/10! I look forward to coming here next time I'm home😊

As I m always looking for a GF scone when visiting the north coast my friend advised me to visit Rocco .I can only say my scone was delicious best ever I tasted. Most certainly will be back. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful restaurant. Vera Cookstown Co Tyrone .

Called in on Saturday and was met by a very pleasant staff member. We asked had they a gluten-free menu and was pleased to hear that they had. My wife was handed an ordinary menu and I was handed the gluten-free one and shown to.our seats. On looking at my menu it was headed "Low gluten menu". You can't have a low gluten-free menu, it either is gluten-free or it isn't. As I suffer from Coeliacs Disease any gluten can have horrendous consequences so we left.

We went for breakfast,beans salty and bacon very salty and fatty cheap bacon. Breakfasts used to be nice. Some different staff. Staff friendly enough.

Good quality food - best Sunday dinner around 😋 always happy to serve extra gravy...veg cooked to perfection and their mash is as good as you'd do yourself at home.

We've never been to a place we're the staff are so lovely, helpful and thoughtful especially to our 1.5yr olds needs. The food is darn good too, would definitely recommend.

Not as good as it used to be, the Rocca grill is really small for the price now and definitely wasn't the same quality as it used to be.. Very expensive for a very small breakfast

Stopped here for coffee, cappuccino was very good and warm. Had a delicious raspberry and white chocolate scone. Will be back the next time I'm in Coleraine

Good but not exceptional breakfast. First breakfast out since lockdown lifted and my wife wanted to make a return visit to Rocco. Staff were grand and helpful/aware of all the restrictions. Food itself was fine but really unremarkable
