Wow ! Superb! Wish we could have tried everything on the menu it all looked amazing! Husband had the Turkish eggs he said it was his favourite meal all weekend. Staff are lovely, there was a bit of a wait for a table but it’s definitely worth it .

Absolutely amazing, Superb freshly cooked food, Very clean establishment and staff were great. The fact there was a small queue outside the front door says a lot.. Even though there was a Queue, the Staff cleaned the tables and got those people in very quickly.. Overall I was very impressed.

Excellent food and service. Gluten free options available as well. We were quite lucky in getting a table as soon as we arrived, it gets quite busy on Sundays. My partner had the pastry basket and I had gluten free bread, avocado, halloumi and poached eggs. Both were delicious.

If you know Robinsons, you know its the place for brunch if you're visiting York. You stand in line for some of the best Sunday food for the soul. Now Robinson's has ventured into dinner time, currently just open on Friday and Saturday nights from 6.30pm. The menu is simple and delicious from a large nibble meat boards, to a huge seafood board... Usually a Steak Frites man, I went for the Beef Cheek which was delicate and fell apart on the fork (think short rib if you've not had cheek !). The most amazing subtle horseradish creamed mash and crispy kale. They have a decent cocktail list and a few good wines. The space is cozy and a welcome addition to Bishy Road as an evening spot !

Absolutely wonderful food, huge portions, delightful ingredients. All freshly made to order. Beautiful freshly squeezed orange juice. Great service, great food, great value. Will be back!

A Sunday breakfast before we left the apartment above the cafe. The waitress came to us as per the order that we were in when waiting for the cafe to open. My wife had Eggs Benedict with bacon (loads of well cooked rashers) and the poached eggs were spot on! I had the bacon sourdough sandwich with a fried egg, again a perfect egg & lovely bacon. No wonder the cafe is so popular! Lovely breakfast & excellent service…

Over rated , local couple really looking forward to a propper coffee clearly staff had no idea over rated coffee bad I mean bad know idea about temperature or ground won't be back , just because in press some fool said it was best in 5 in York !!!!!!!!!!!

The Turkish Eggs were absolutely delicious, the warm galic yogurt and Hazelnut Dukkah was spot on. A super fast, friendly service. Great food and a fab chai latte. Will deffinatley be coming back.

The outside of the Cafe looks pretty ordinary, but step through the door and it’s like a Tardis. Well spaced out tables and quirky decor. The food is really, really good and totally freshly made. I had a bacon and egg sandwich on sourdough bread , great tasting and good value. Bit off the beaten track but well worth seeking out.

The best cafe in York! Brunch like no other! I cannot recommend them highly enough. Staff really efficient and such good service.

We called one afternoon for coffee and chose some cake from the counter…we waited a little while and our coffee arrived but no cake ….we saw our waitress going across the road to the butchers …when she returned we asked where our cake was and she said sorry there is none left …a cafe with no cake…disappointing

I had a good experience of dining in the Robinsons cafe. The service that was provided was amazing, especially the highlight goes to Elly who went above and beyond in providing the service with politeness and efficiency. However, well done to all the staff!!! Overall, I am satisfied with the service provided and I recommend other people to come to this cafe. The only advice that I would give to the owner or the manager of this place is to extend the menu choices, so that customers have more options to choose from.

Oh how we wish we were closer to you. Stumbled upon this fantastic cafe on our last day in York and it is superb. Our meals were served promptly, hot, plentiful, looked good and tasted great. In fact everything we saw come out of the kitchen looked delicious. Service was efficient, decor good, prices reasonable and an all round excellent lunch stop. There is nothing we’d suggest changing, other than moving you nearer to our doorstep!

I stumbled upon this charming gem of a cafe and instantly felt like I had found a cozy sanctuary. We were served by the lovely Joe who welcomed us with a smile. The menu is a delightful blend of classic favorites and innovative twists. I've fallen in love with this cafe, and I can't wait to become a regular.

What a great space for brunch. The menu was fantastic! I have to recommend the Mexican Eggs!! YUM! We needed to sit outside because there was quite a big line to get a table inside. However, there was a cover so it really wasn't bad at all as the weather was pretty decent. The service was fast and easy and would be a place i would recommend to anyone going to York. Also, after your food, I would wander to see some of the shops on Bishopthorpe Road. It is a great area of York to discover!

Visited in a Saturday morning for brunch with my little girl and a friend. I had the smoked salmon and eggs, it was delicious, the salmon was divine and it was all cooked perfectly. Small wait to get seated but so worth it.

I may not be an expert in these things, but that is the best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs I’ve ever eaten. Lovely atmosphere and great staff.
