Best Indian food in the area, always delicious and the staff is amazing. We are vegans and have always been able to have our orders modified to our dietary needs, so especially great for anyone on a special diet. Couldn't give Robby's enough praise

We were greeted by a very friendly welcome and satisfied by the generous servings of tasty curries. Thoroughly enjoyed the visit.

Chicken was absolutely disgusting. One piece was off. All 3 of us agreed we wouldn’t eat there again as the meat was off. Shame. The balti sauce was delicious. The tandoori chicken and tikka is never fresh it’s pre cooked and warmed up but this time it was rank

From the other reviews I expected great things but this was really not that great - raw garlic on a naan bread, the sheesh unbelievably salty and a compulsory service charge on a takeaway?

Curious name for an Indian restaurant but that's not really important, the food was great. There were eleven of us on looking for a decent dinner in the town and were very pleased to find "Robby's". A wide variety of food on offer, traditional indian dishes, vegetarian options and some unusual specialities also a takeaway service. A lovely evening out, if we are in the area again we will be sure to return.

Tandoori chicken. Chicken tikka. Balti all fantastic. My mother reckoned it’s the best Indian she had in years. Delicious food. Bhaji onion wasn’t the best. Taste like cheese. Everything else top notch

We have been using Robbys for many years , and have recommend it to all our friends ! However tonight we ordered our meal to be delivered , they said it would be an hour but to allow 1hr 35mins .Ok not ideal but that’s fine we understand…. However, well after that time had gone I called and they said it would be with us within 15 mins , still not arrived over 1/2 hour after , I called again and they said they called him and he was 10 seconds away !! Well we knew we would enjoy it , it would of been worth the wait … but, no we were disappointed , my chicken tikka main was barely luke warm and arrived with no salad and no dips ……………. Not a happy bunny , will not be ordering from here ever again you have lost loyal customers , we won’t be recommending you to anyone again. Reckon our food was cooked in original time frame and just sat there going cold ! May as well of cooked a curry from scratch at home at least our belly’s would be full and would of eaten at a reasonable time.

First visit ever...due to Covid had to be a take away ....friendly service and efficient only 25 mins wsit....Chicken Tikka...soft and succulent with a crisp salad, Tandoori King Prawns perfectly cooked, Lamb Madras beautiful sauce spot on heat ( and no oily slick ) fluffy rice, crispy onion bhajis, excellent garlic naan and complimentary poppadoms...can't recommend highly enough....well done Robbys and thank you for one of the best take away Indian meals we've had.. and we've had a few !

Will never use this Indian again ordered a takeaway at 5,30 when it opened 7,24 still not arrived phoned to say would be 15mins still by 8,15 still not arrived in the end phoned and the person on phone was very rude and could not careless so I told them to forget order.

So I know you are busy given this second lockdown BUT, that does not excuse the rude customer service I have just received!! We ordered a takeaway at 6pm and, were told that it would take around 1hr-1hr 30 and would be delivered in that slot. Not a problem perfectly happy with this, beers open and film on. I phoned after an hour and 40 mins to, initially be told it would be another 30 mins then after a quick check with what I presume was the kitchen 20 mins, meaning it would have been at least 2 hours from ordering! Now I have seen lots of great reviews lately and wanted to keep local businesses going at this difficult time. When I said I wanted to cancel the order and tried to explain to the gentleman I was speaking too he just simply hung up the phone! No apology about the delay, some sort of explanation or even an offer to throw in some poppadoms or an extra chapati. I appreciate this is a stressful time for all, and you maybe busy but a little politeness never goes a miss. Shame as I was looking forward to tasting the food I have heard so many good things about.

I have tried numerous restaurants and this is by far the best for both service and taste, . I highly recommend to anyone who fancies a delicious curry at a fair price. Takeaway or eat-in and Robbys won’t let you down.

We decided to give Robbys a try during lockdown and it became our Saturday night treat the food was beautiful and we have used there ever since dining in on a few occasions too the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff can’t do enough for you presentation is amazing my 3 daughters have also converted to Using Robbys aswell says it all really absolutely wonderful we love it !!

went for a meal having booked a table for 5 , told no tables available , social distancing a total joke as I have never seen the place so busy , evidently Covid doesn't exist in Kingswinford , me and my mates have used this as a regular meeting place before lockdown , not any more , greed over health

Booked a table last week, turned up tonight told to wait for 15 minutes in a crowded restaurant, no social distancing what so ever and all tables close together, we were told they have over 100 customers booked in for that night, I was totally disgusted what was going on in this present situation.

Lovely meal and great service but got caught out on soft drinks making the eat out to help out not such a discount. £18 for 6 diet cokes (half pints) poured directly from a £1 bottle!! Make a profit of course but that’s extortionate in my view.

Visited this restaurant with my partner on Wednesday night. Such a lovely atmosphere, lovely staff. Really enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend :) There was a gentleman called Jay who we had a chat with, he was very accommodating

This might have been the first meal out after 100+ days of lock down but that didn't mean the food wasn't awesome. Everything about the meal was top notch.. The waiters were ever present but not a nuisance, the prices were very reasonable and the food was just top notch.. Our group of friends have been to a lot of indian/pakistani/cashmiri restaurant over the last 25 years but Robbys is the best we have been to.. The food was simply the best. It was very busy in the first Night of opening so our food took a little longer to arrive but we were kept informed and that's all it takes... Can't wait to go back and try some more of the menu. i have tried many takeaways but few seem to be consistent ive had a few of Robby's dishes and all have been wonderful but man of the hour is AJ he takes your order and nothing is too much trouble if you want you food slighly mild of hot ect he will get it sorted for you also he always looks after you when eating in top marks and fully recommened

We order from Robbys on a regular basis. I literally don't have a bad word to say about this restaurant, the food or the staff. When collected or delivered, food is always piping hot, staff are always super friendly and polite. The Facebook page is always keeping customers up to date regarding collections and orders due to Covid. The food tastes super every single time. Dining in or out at Robbys is never a disappointment!!!

Unable to eat in due to lockdown I had food delivered tonight. It was the best ever...Mixed veg Malayan balti , onion bhajis,veg samosa,mixed meat starter, popadoms, king nan, veg curry, mushroom rice, onion salad, chutney and mint dip. The best in the area. We have ordered a take away from Robby's tonight as a birthday treat meal and personally I'm never a big fan of Indian takeaway but this has completely changed my mind it was 100% the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The Lamb Rogan Josh was excellent by far one of the best things i have eaten. The Chicken Tikka and Chicken Saag Balti were also superb. Service was great. Given all the social distancing and restrictions food businesses are facing at the moment these guys were brilliant cannot fault them. I would highly recommend Robby's to anyone...

We have used Robbys for many years but due to the lockdown, we’ve recently had to do takeaway.The lads at the restaurant have always looked after us and continue to do so during these difficult times. I’ve been visiting Robbys now for many years and the food and staff never fail to disappoint this restaurant is run by one of the nicest family’s I have ever met in my life and have become really good friends so folk if you want authentic Indian food this is the place best restaurant in the area try the chicken chilli chips or a combination dish not forgetting sali chips or ask for the owner’s special dish’s that’s are not on the menu like garlic chicken pathia madras hot this restaurant caters for all tastes you will not be disappointed

5* food - Just had a robbys Indian 1st time after seeing the good reviews on here, people they were not wrong!! Was cooked exactly how I asked and plenty to go around! Was the best Indian I’ve had in a while after a few bad experiences with curry places locally I have finally found my new local - thank you so much for the lovley complimentary chips too. Great food and a really nice treat during lockdown times. Delivery was a little late, but I messaged on Facebook and got a reply back straight away and they were very apologetic. Just made it taste all the better when it did arrive! Delivery driver had full face mask and gloves on and we exchanged money in an envelope so felt safe. Food was delicious, hot and portions were big!

We are regulars at Robbys; not only because the food is incredible but because the team are so friendly, kind and polite. They are working so hard in these current times and are providing care for the vulnerable, which also means putting themselves at risk, just to provide us with great food and a sense of normality. We recently ordered a Robbys during the lockdown situation due to Coronavirus. It was for my birthday so i messaged in the day using the template on the facebook page and requested a delivery as early as possible in the evening, so I could eat with my children. I was told it would be before 7 as they couldn't promise exact times (understandably) at this time. The food arrived at 6.15 so much earlier than we expected which was excellent. The food was piping hot and tasted delicious. We all really enjoyed it. I always enjoy the food from Robbys and its mine and a group of friends go to place for our annual christmas get together. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. the fact they are so busy during this current time just goes to show how good the food is and how good the service is!
