Roastit Bubbly Jocks in Glasgow City

I was in last week with a friend for a well-deserved catch up, the service was brilliant and the food was just as good. I had the goats cheese salad as a starter and then the fish and chips! Couldn't fault it- thanks guys!

Fabulous food and wonderful staff. Great selection of food, full Scottish, vegetarian, eggs however you want them. Ingredients are all top quality. I've great pictures but too big for the site.

This restaurant was in the top ten best breakfasts in Glasgow, I would say this place is the best in Glasgow, They understand that having the best ingredients from around Scotland and then cooking them in an amazing way guarantees perfection . Fantastic

Our Saturday night with another couple was perfect. The warm atmosphere, coupled with the patter from the team set things off perfectly. The great choice of well-priced and well-cooked dished and the relaxed but smooth service followed though in style.A lovely way to spend an evening.

This was a plan 'B'. However I am glad the first place was fully booked as this was a truly great evening. The service, food and atmosphere all exceeded our expectations. This place is now a plan 'A' next time. There so many place in Glasgow to experience great food and this is one of them. For starters we had, crayfish, goats cheese and soup, followed by Lamb Breast (awesome), Moroccan chicken and fish and chips. The flavours, tastes and presentation were all fantastic. We will be back when we next visit Glasgow. Thanks

This was my first visit back home in nineteen months. Bubbly Jocks is now on my list of essential places to visit. Once again we had a lovely warm welcome from Frank, the food was of the same high standard, and the same great friendly atmosphere. I'll be back on my next visit home.

I hadn’t been in Roastit Bubbly Jocks for a good few years and I am glad that I’d visited again.This visit was to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday and I honestly couldn’t fault anything about our visit.The service was quick, friendly and some cheeky banter thrown in too.The food lived up to the excellent service, I had the seafood chowder and it was amazing with chunks of veg and fish. My mum and sister had pate, this was deliciously rich. Again, the main meals were beautiful with fresh ingredients.The desserts rounded off a wonderful meal, the mango and passion fruit pavlova was just perfect.We will definitely be returning soon.

Frank made our visit a very happy and enjoyable evening, 15 of us really loved our meal, well presented and tasty, back soon.

Best brunch in Partick. My partner and I love treating ourselves to brunch and, being local, have visited most places in Partick that offer it. This is by far the best. Superb quality of food, generous portions, coffee that rivals and beats even the local Italian restaurant yet comparable in price. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly service to boot. What’s not to love. My partner had the Glasgow fry and I had the eggs Balmoral which is eggs benedict with melt in the mouth haggis. Can’t wait to go back.

1st visit and won't be the last . Birthday meal with family ,good food and great service . Frank was very attentive and really helpful and friendly , even flagged down a taxi for us . The food was lovely and nice atmosphere . Would recommend you visit

Absolutely blown away by the service in here. Can't recommend enough. The food was amazing we came from the other end of the city to try and it was so worth it.While we were there we were amazed at the help a man in a wheelchair received to enable him to make his way to the toilet by the staff they moved things a little when it didn't quite fit actually humbling. I have family with disability and will 100 % be coming here again. Best place by a country mile... wee glaswegian saying haha.Thank you so much we will definitely be back

What a little gem in the west end, went there for a graduation celebration and was blown away by the food. I had the divine chicken liver pate but also tried the tender mussels ( first time ever having them) not what I expected at all - beautifully cooked in white wine and garlic.Beef massaman curry., another corker. Split this dish with my husband who had the fish as we couldn’t decide as to much lovely choice.Was too stuffed to have dessert but managed to consume the best express martini I have ever had and believe u me I have had a fair few.All this was topped off by the fabulous frank and his team- I cannot wax lyrical enough about our time in roastit will defo return

Stopped in here today for a lovely lunch of sirloin steak with thick hand-cut chips, peppercorn sauce and the most amazing garlic mushrooms! As always, Frank and the team were attentive and friendly! The steak itself was fab and cooked to perfection and the garlic mushrooms really set it off! Simply Superb (as always!)

The food, the service and the atmosphere make this a very special corner of Partick. The care that is taken to ensure a memorable dining experience is above and beyond. Make reservation and enjoy, the sunday brunch is amazing - make sure you have a Bloody Mary (7 or 8)

We came here for dinner with my mother and had a great meal. The staff were very friendly helpful and attentive and the food was all very delicious with each dish having a unique flavour from around the globe. I had the massaman beef curry, my mother had the lemon sole and my wife had the chicken milanese with tagliatelle aribiatta. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals and to top it off my wife was offered a bit of haggis to try (she had never tried this before). I would highly recommend coming here to anyone looking for delicious food and great service..... also had brunch here before and that was equally delicious

We had a lovely dinner for our daughter's graduation. Food was fantastic, steaks were cooked to our various requirements and were excellent in quality. The fish and chicken dishes were also great.Food was a hit with everyone who had varying tastes.Special thanks to the chefs that were working that night.Service was great and the chat was funny.Scotland and England were playing that night and my partner and son could watch it on their phones courtesy of the Wifi.Planning on getting a gift voucher this week for a friend so that they can have a lovely meal.Will most definitely be eating again at Roastit Bubbly Jocks.

We had a lovely lunch with elderly parents and enjoyed the ambiance and great food. The vegan choice was good too. We'll definitely be back!

Had the dine out collect from the restaurant tonight. Excellent food and great quality. I would recommend to anyone. Staff were professional yet friendly.

We had a lovely 3 course meal from the take home menu. It was just as good as sitting in at the restaurant and lost none of it's quality. Great veggie options too. Highly recommend 👍🏻

We had a range of dishes to takeaway, I had the goats cheese for starter, pork belly for main, and cheese cake after. I was surprised that it tasted as though it had been served to us directly in the restaurant. Everything was still very fresh. It was delicious. I wasn't particularly hungry, but finished everything. I would recommend.

I was by Partick station and we needed feeding. I was put off by greasy spoons and chippys. Walked down the road and found this establishment.I had the chowder, my son had pork belly with noodles and announced it was the best he’s ever eaten. My daughter who is the plainest and fussiest of eaters was accommodated for, by pancakes and Nutella.Everything was great, really friendly.Next time I’m in Glasgow I’ll be sure to pop by again.

Fantastic 2 course lunch with wine. The food was restaurant quality and the service was excellent. Definitely will visit again very soon. Have recommended to several other friends too. Keep up the excellent job guys!

I honestly can’t recommend this restaurant enough! It’s my go to to impress visiting friends or to make a b line for a great hearty meal or quality Scottish breakfast. The staff are exceptionally good at their job and the chefs never fail to surprise with the ever evolving menu. Recently I had tried their Food to Go menu and to say it was the best thing I’ve eaten over lockdown. I’m so pleased they’ve made it through these difficult times. Go try it if you haven’t already. You can thank me later.

We came this afternoon for an early dinner and had our usual fantastic experience. Excellent service, excellent atmosphere, excellent food - the tempeh was bangin 😍

Had the 5pm deal 2 course and drink. Went into Glasgow yesterday the meal was amazing!! We had the West Coast seafood chowder to die for . I had the Haddock and chips, my partner had the Dingwall haggis neeps tatties and peppercorn sauce, for dessert we had Homemade mango & passion fruit pavlova. The service was excellent the 2 young waitresses went above and beyond Thank you. Will definitely be back.

I had the three course dine at home menu last night for two people which had amazing food at a really reasonable price. The starter was Pork Belly and Stornoway Black pudding and it was truly amazing!! We had braised beef shin ragu for main and cheese board for our final course. We only had to eat one of the mains as the portion sizes were so good (plus pork belly and black pudding is pretty filling), which meant we can another main have for dinner the next day. The food was so tasty we'll definitely be back. There was also the feel good factor about supporting a small business with really friendly and helpful staff.

I am amazed by this. I experienced a delicious main course Containing the most beautifully cooked chicken and the sauce was to die for the flavours just worked perfectly. The presentation was nothing short of amazing and the service from staff was great too. Credit to the chef’s as this meal was phenomenal and during these hard times this brought me great joy and hope for the future I can not wait to dine in for a full roast it bubbly jocks experience. Overall, I more than enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is delicious and they have very high standards.

Had the most amazing dine at home dinner tonight, fillet steak salad, pork and black pudding salad and then pork and noodle main....so tasty and portion so big we couldn’t finish. Warm chocolate cake and ice cream will be tested tomorrow night once we have some space to fit it in! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Had a 2 course dine in meal last night & the food was fantastic. Easy to reheat service was great & double checked my allergies when I went to collect. Loved that all food came in biodegradable boxes - no plastic. Will definitely be back

Very easy to access the takeout menu and a great selection of food, including vegetarian options. Phone in your order and collect on a Friday or Saturday. Very easy to re-heat the food, big portions and very tasty meals. We will return for more and ask you to support this wonderful restaurant so that it can welcome us back in the flesh very soon.

We had a dine at home meal for Valentines weekend and were not disappointed. All courses were delicious and so simple to reheat. Can’t fault the meal or service in any way. Brilliant value for money, would 100% recommend.

I ordered a dine in at home meal for Valentine’s from Roastit Bubbly Jocks and it was fantastic! Right from the very start of placing my order, the service was brilliant. Really friendly, helpful and personable. There was so many delicious dishes on the menu, we struggled to make a choice. We settled on the seafood chowder and the tomato soup to start - both very tasty. Next we had Moroccan Chicken and the Rolled Pork for main. Amazing! And dessert was pavlova and the chocolate cake, both were delicious. We got a bottle of red wine too - incredible value for high quality food. The instructions to warm the food at home were really easy to follow. The portions were big too, so big we kept dessert for the following night!Will definitely be back to place another order again, highly recommend.

Just had a “Dine at Home Meal” from Roastit Bubbly Jocks BistroCan’t recommend it highly enoughWe were a bit dubious about having to “ re-heat” food but it was easy and so delicious!All food came with individual heating instructions It was the next best thing to being in the actual Bistro!In addition ALL the food was in containers which could be fully recycled No plastic, no foil Well done!We had it as a celebration meal It was brilliant, tasty , value for money and I would highly recommend it!

We used our 5pm voucher for Roastit Bubbly Jocks 2 course and wine carry out meal last night and it was SUPERB!!! EASY instructions to heat up the meal. The quality of the food was excellent both my wife and myself thoroughly enjoyed it. She had the chicken dish and I had the meatloaf both superb. My starter of seafood chowder was a meal in itself and PURE magic. All of this washed down with a cheeky wee Portuguese red.New to Glasgow and my phones Google map stopped me a bit short of the restaurant. Manager came out and guided me there! Staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. I canny wait for covid to be gone and go and sit in. We will be back for more carry out soon.Thanks Roastit Bubbly Jocks for giving us such a SUPERB diner to celebrate SCOTLAND'S EMENSE WIN OVER THE AULD ENEMY!!!! Celtic and the Hibees won too. Picked up meal from the restaurant. It came with easy to follow instructions to reheat. Starters and main course were so tasty and great quality .We chose to add on the cranachan cheesecake at an extra cost of £10.Unfortunately we didn't enjoy that. All in all we loved the meal and felt it was a bit more special than" just a takeaway". Well done Roastit Bubbly Jocks.Great idea. We will look forward to ordering again

Have been here several times and the food is always excellent. Tried the takeaway/cook at home food tonight and it was great too. Service is always flawless, and staff make you feel very welcome. Always cater to any dietary requirements where possible too. This is my favourite place to go out to eat.

Really lovely meal My husband had the soup and I had pate served with salad, toasts and chutney. Mains were Haggis, neeos and tatties with a pepper sauce on the side. Delicious. Washed down with a bottle of house wine!Nicely served and ready to heat.. Friendly staff. Will go again.

After a few great recommendations by our friends we decided to go for the Christmas Dinner Takeaway for Christmas Day.We arrived to collect our food from the restaurant on Christmas Eve at our chosen time where a number of others were also there doing likewise.On arrival home we unpacked the well presented and labelled food into our fridge and retained the very easy to follow heating instructions.On Christmas Day we followed the very easy heating instructions & were astounded by the quality & taste of all 3 of the courses provided.From the Chowder & Crusty Bread to the complete Turkey Christmas Dinner to the Clooty Dumpling & Custard we were treated to a culinary delight.We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough & look forward to when lockdown is over when we have an opportunity to become regular visitors.Thank you to Frank & the staff for making our Christmas Day such a memorable one and removing the normal stress & hassle associated with Christmas Dinner.Merry Christmas To One & All.

A dear friend and I met last Saturday at Partick underground, in what was a wild, wet and blustery December afternoon. With Dumbarton Road effectively a swirling wind tunnel, we quickly abandoned the notion (and madness) of Christmas shopping in favour of a bite to eat, a warm seat and a good old fashioned blether.On a whim we meandered along to Roastit Bubblin Jocks, in hope they had a space. They had. We were welcomed as old friends by the ever-attentive staff, then swiftly took our seats under the warm glow of the art deco lights. The howling gale outside was quickly forgotten about, as we started with the soup and Stornoway black pudding/pork belly starters,both made and cooked to perfection. For the mains we opted for the traditional Christmas dinner, always a risky strategy in a pub or restaurant at this time of year. We needn't have worried. It was a magnificent plateful of turkey and trimmings, and a weighty portion to match anything your mum or gran would have made back in the day.The staff were warm, genuine and friendly throughout, never overbearing. As our afternoon drew to a close we sipped on our impeccable lattes with full tums, and remarked on what a great place this was to spend an hour. We were in fact there for 3!Surely no better testament to the surroundings, management, staff and chefs at Roastit Bubbly Jocks. A credit to Partick, and a credit to Glasgow. Well done guys, we shall return!

In at 10am sharp for breakfast which was superb. Everything freshly cooked, the haggis was particularly good. Even though it was just open the welcome was relaxed and friendly, and the window seat was ideal for watching the good folk of Partick go about their business.

Regular diners because we love it. We have also had birthday parties there and the feedback from people has always been great.

As a regular customer over the years, myself and 2 friends booked for lunch after the period of Tier 4 restrictions due to COVID 19. I ordered a brunch of Eggs Benedict, 2 main courses were ordered from the Christmas menu @ £20 per head. A period of 30 minutes passed before we received the food, the Manager did apologise for the wait, which was puzzling as the restaurant was not so busy. My muffin was crispy dry and the stuffing with the turkey was tasteless I was told. I suspect the food was Forgotten about assuming we had a starter which we didn’t. We had desserts which was lovely. As a great supporter of hospitality at this difficult time, I feel the staff need to ensure standards are spot on in order to make sure of return business and recommendations.. There was no rectifying of their mistake ie a free coffee which was a pity. It was slightly disappointing as it was a much looked forward to meeting of friends who have been absent during this horrible time.

I used to live a short walk from Roastits so that was my excuse for being in there so often. I am now 11 miles away and have no excuse, other than greed.The smashed avocado on the brunch menu is the best. The very best. Bar none!The Glasgow Fry is a big hit with my other half and looks to be very popular with the big Rugby players who seem to like to always brunch at the same time as us.In the evening it smartens itself up a bit and the menu is superb - we had the fish chowder followed by the venison and the halibut - really really good!The staff are super friendly and have great banter with everyone. The portion sizes are very generous, the wine is reasonable and Frank does a splendid Espresso Martini!Give this place a go.... it’s a couple of mins from Partick station. You won’t be disappointed.

We were gifted a voucher for a meal with wine and it didn't disappoint. The chowder was delicious as was the beef bourguignon. Amazing service -even carrying the bags to my car. Top class service and lovely meal!!!

Had an Itison voucher for 2 courses and a bottle of wine. Phoned through an order on the Thursday night and collected on the Friday. Received a fabulous, personal service, with a lovely wee note. Food was presented beautifully with instructions on how to reheat. Really tasty and I would most definitely order again

Friendly greeting from manager set the tone for a relaxing breakfast and vital shelter from the elements. Very generous portions of high-quality ingredients on the full breakfast and great hollandaise on the eggs benedict. While my personal highlights were the fat potato scone and black pudding, it was nice to see a filling version of the full breakfast for kids with paper, crayons and some apple juice. A real bargain at £4.95, which met with my 4YO son's approval. In short, when two coffees brought the bill to £30, our visit was well-priced, and was clearly above average. One of the best options in the area and certainly worth a visit.

We picked up our dinner for two with wine, times five, for a wee restaurant dinner party in our own home. Great service, friendly staff, as always, ready right on time. Beef stew, full of flavour, Moroccan Chicken nicely fragrant and Haggis good and spicy super mash and trimmings, brill. Everyone over the moon with dinner!. Chocolate cake, ice cream and toffee sauce provided a perfect compliment! Great wee respite from the lockdown super work, thanks guys.

Super impressed by the £35 for 2 courses with a bottle of wine. Picked up my order to a very friendly and warm welcome by all staff. Such a personal service. I even had my order carried out to my car! Food was restaurant quality and very easy to heat. Made a Saturday night special in amongst all the stress that life brings at the moment. Thanks Roastit. We will definitely be a repeat order for this.

We had a fabulous takeaway meal from Roastit Bubbly Jocks for my husband's birthday. I ordered on the Thursday and picked up on Saturday afternoon. The instructions for heating the food were clear and picking up the food was straightforward and very covid safe. We had the black pudding and pork belly salad and the goats cheese starters and the chicken and filo parcels as mains. Also had the pavlova and chocolate cake for dessert. The food was all delicious and was easily the best meal we've had throughout lockdown. The house wine included with the meal was lovely too. Amazing value for money as well. Would 100% recommend.

Always an amazing experience at Roast it’s! Enjoyed a delicious meal - the lamb and espresso martinis were the one for me! Laid back vibe with great service and chat from friendly team. Just finished a wonderful takeaway selection from RBJ this evening - brilliant food, and excellent personal service when picking up . Perfect comfort food for the winter nights. And great value for money too.

Had an amazing visit to to RJB. My partner had the chowder to start.. It was the best fish chowder we had ever tasted. I had the salt and pepper squid.. It was sublime. We also had the sirloin steak and the fish and chips. The sirloin was cooked to perfection and the hoddock was perfect not one bit of grease.. The staff were so attentive.. We will be back

Fantastic lunch venue in the west end. Something to suit all tastes and perfect home cooked food. Staff were amazing and went over and above to exceed expectations. Couldn’t fault any aspect. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back. Full & thorough C-19 guidelines implemented however this did not dampen the afternoon. It felt like a relaxed and friendly atmosphere despite current restrictions.

First time visit, had the soup of the day to start followed by a lovely roast dinner. This restaurant had good ambience, and a brilliant host. Dessert was fantastic so be sure to leave room! Will definitely be back.

This has to be one of our favourite restaurants in Glasgow, never fails to impress . We were in last weekend for dinner and returned today for Sunday brunch . Food is amazing and staff are so friendly and accommodating. We also used the collect service on a number of occasions during lockdown and food was still served to the same high standards . Probably my favourite restaurant in Glasgow. Visited again today with my fiancee on a spur of the moment without a reservation. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The food and service was excellent as always. Would definitely recommend this place if you haven't been.

This was my first visit after the lockdown. I last reviewed RBJ at the start of the lockdown and praised the quality of the food. Excellent as the food was, it was even better to return to the restaurant. There are two key elements to RBJ that make for a really nice experience, namely, the welcoming front room team and the quality of the cooking. To describe the front team as efficient and friendly seriously understates how good they are. As soon as you go through the doors you can feel the relaxed, friendly vibes: you know you are going to be well looked after. The staff are chatty and friendly and the patter is very Glaswegian ie funny.The food is big and flavoursome. If you are looking for the types of meal that consists of wee bits of carrots done 10 ways and carefully plated with a set of tweezers and interspersed with wee scooshes of foam then forget it. But if you are looking for very tasty, good quality food then this is the place to go. (One wee hint: don't eat anything beforehand - you want to leave plenty of room for the food). I had the vegetarian / vegan options for a change from my usual meaty dishes and they were really enjoyable. My companions had the meat and fish dishes between them and also sang their praises.As may be obvious, I am a fan of RBJ. If you haven't been there then go and you will become one too.

Amazing service from Kirsten and team. Couldn’t do enough for us. We had chicken parfait to start and then venison ragu. Both were delicious, and the ragu was very memorable with loads of Parmesan on. We only stopped in Glasgow for the night, but would definitely come back again.

Visited here as a last minute decision after being out at a local bar, so glad we did! Lovely cosy restaurant. The service was exceptional, the man who served us was really friendly and attentive. We both had the Glasgow Stack special to start - hash brown, bacon, black pudding and a poached egg which was fab and just the right size.My haggis was delicious and my partners fish was also lovely. Wish we had room for dessert but we’ll be back soon to try it out!

I’m going to be visiting this place quite a bit over the next few years. Food was really nice. I had the Glasgow Fry and added Haggis, quality ingredients showed through. In addition to that the lad that served us was really friendly and has definitely tempted me back for a Sunday Roast.

This was my first trip back to Bubbly Jocks since they reopened and it did not disappoint! As always, the staff were extremely welcoming and the food delicious. I'm lucky to live so close to this place - it is my go-to for a meal with visiting friends/family and it always comes up trumps.

Found this place on 5pm.com and was not disappointed. The atmosphere,the staff and the food was top drawer. Our waiters description of the special completely sold it and it absolutely did not disappoint. I would highly recommend the Chowder. Do yourself a huge favour and give this place a visit.

We have eaten here as a group several times before - however this is the first time we have eaten here since it has reopened due to Covid. The staff couldn't have been more friendly - and added to whole experience. On our table we had the roast beef, the Moroccan Chicken and Haggis Neeps and Tatties - all was beautiful. Very much appreciated the extra gravy for the Yorkshire Pud.Puddings were also delicious - we had the chocolate cake, the crumble and Victoria sponge.RBJ have clearly put good safety measures in place to allow them to reopen - hand sanitiser available throughout the restaurant, reduced tables to allow for more distance between groups and all the staff were wear (fetching) masks. Excellent value, and delicious meal. We will definitely be back

Brilliant meal our first out since lockdown . Great to see it's as good as ever . Wonderful food served in a great atmosphere Venison Ragu was fantastic , Haddock and chips and the Haggis brilliant , don't forget to have an Irish coffee .

Estaba un poco receloso de volver a comer fuera, pero la experiencia aquí me pareció encantadora, con mucho distanciamiento social, pero aún así mantuvo un buen ambiente. La comida era excelente, el personal era excelente, atento y, a pesar de las obvias medidas de seguridad de Covid implementadas, fue una velada completamente agradable

Good food, good service good portions. What's not to like? Atmospheric, busy without feeling rushed, staff cheerful and friendly and food a treat. Veggie options and delicious desserts. Hungry geordies welcome. Easy parking.

Another great meal here, one of my favourite places to eat in Glasgow. Lentil soup followed by haggis, neeps and tarries - love it! Apparently they also do a very good breakfast 😋

Maravillosa noche con excelente comida y un servicio amable y divertido que realmente contribuyó a nuestro disfrute. Todo a un precio muy razonable. Calamares a la sal y pimienta y sopa de mariscos deliciosos como pasta ragú de venado. Aunque no me puedo quejar de ninguno de los platos y de la mejor comida que la que hemos tenido en lugares mucho más caros. Ambiente encantador incluso con las restricciones necesarias. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente y sin duda volveremos.

Comí, ordené y recogí la comida hace dos semanas. La sopa de mariscos era sencilla de calentar y absolutamente deliciosa. El plato principal de rosbif con asado y puré de patatas, así como verduras, era una porción generosa. La carne se derritió en la boca. No puedo esperar a que el restaurante vuelva a abrir, mi mesa está reservada y espero con ansias otra gran comida.

Tenía un pedido de comida para llevar de Roastit Bj hace un par de semanas. Tal vez sea una tontería pedir 3 platos, ¡pero lo hicimos! Muy bueno y encantador tener algunos sabores interesantes en el pato y el filo de verduras. Solo se pueden mejorar 2 cosas: un recipiente pequeño separado para los aderezos para ensaladas para mantener la lechuga más crujiente y algunas instrucciones para calentar, tal vez simplemente se olvidaron de la última.

Pedí la carne tailandesa y el paté para comenzar, ambos 10/10.Ambos pedimos la cena de rosbif, y aquí es donde vino la decepción. . . . la carne, las verduras y la salsa eran absolutamente hermosas. Lo que lo decepcionó fueron las patatas asadas. Estaban un poco descoloridos y muy secos. Como digo, amamos tanto a Bubbly Jocks, así que solo espero que esto haya sido un pequeño descuido.

La panceta de cerdo y el entrante de morcilla de Stornoway estaban deliciosos, al igual que la cena de rosbif que le siguió.Sí, llega en cajas pequeñas y tienes que servirlo tú mismo, y sí, simplemente no se ve tan bien como si hubiéramos estado en el restaurante, pero eso es lo mismo para cualquiera de estas ofertas. He pagado más del doble del precio por un restaurante muy conocido que se apresuró a preparar la comida de la colección, y no era tan sabroso.Roastits siempre se ha centrado en la buena calidad, las buenas raciones y la buena relación calidad-precio, y este sigue siendo el caso del servicio de recogida a domicilio. Estábamos muy contentos de poder celebrar nuestro aniversario con comida del lugar en el que hubiéramos estado. Gracias Mo, lo estás haciendo muy bien, sigue así hasta que podamos estar contigo de nuevo (¡y gracias por volver a poner la sopa en el menú!)

Decepcionado con esta experiencia gastronómica, pero intentaré explicar por qué.Soy muy consciente de la situación actual de Covid y de que las pequeñas empresas están probando cosas nuevas para ganar dinero. Ofertas para llevar, como la de Itson sonaba genial. Antes de comprar miramos el menú y se veía bien (leí que el menú se puede cambiar). Al hacer el pedido, vimos que el menú de muestra que vimos al comprar había cambiado y los dos platos principales que nos apetecían se habían eliminado del menú (pollo marroquí y ternera bourguignon) se habían reemplazado con cenas de rosbif y pavo asado. Personalmente, creo que esto fue una planificación perezosa del menú o el uso de existencias del congelador,De todos modos recogimos el pedido y los entrantes eran parfait de hígado de pollo y panza de cerdo y morcilla de stornoway. Para platos principales tuvimos una carne asada y una cena de pavo asado.Primero, no teníamos instrucciones de recalentamiento y tuvimos que llamar por teléfono para obtener el tiempo.El parfait tenía la consistencia de una sopa espesa, sabía muy bien y el cerdo y la morcilla sabían sensacionales. Sin embargo, y sé que es una comida para llevar, parecía una cena de perro en la caja y no mejoró después de quitarla.Los platos principales sabían bastante bien, pero podrían y deberían haber sido mejores. Ambas comidas tenían todo en la caja, con la excepción de los pudines de Yorkshire (estaban muy buenos).Si la carne, las papas y las verduras se hubieran colocado en recipientes separados y se hubiera agregado un recipiente pequeño de salsa en lugar de verter en la caja con todo lo demás. Esto no habría tenido un efecto adverso en su médico de cabecera y se habría visto mucho mejor. Como dije, el plato principal tenía un sabor razonablemente agradable, no hubiera sido tan seco con más salsa.Lamento ser tan negativo pero, en mi opinión, las cosas deberían y podrían haber sido mejores.

Our first time dining here. Treated ourselves to a dining experience at home. Great service from start to finish. Good variety on menu. Delicious food, generous portions. We will be back for more!

It’s lockdown so next best thing to going out for family birthday meal ( for 6) is to have restaurant cooked meal at home? Thought we would give it a try and it was a great success tonight. The standard of the food was fab- all had the pork belly & stornoway black pudding starter and then some the Moroccan chicken and the others the beef bourguignon - all really tasty and usual high RBJ standard. Must admit to being so full have kept the cloutie dumplings and custard as a treat for tomorrow ! Fantastic alternative when can’t get to restaurant and was very reasonably priced- I recommend RBJ meal as a great night in and hope the team will get through this very difficult lockdown with lots of deserved local support .

RBJ is alive and well!A number of excellent restaurants in the West End have started Food to Go menus. Add to that list RBJ.The same tasty food, the same generous portions, just boxed and ready to go. The boxes are oven proof, which makes reheating easy. Just what you need for a treat at the weekend. I highly recommend.

We've visited the restaurant several times over the years and have always been very impressed by the quality of food and the extremely welcoming service. We recently heard that they had now introduced a 'Food to Go Service' from late May 2020 following the Covid-19 lockdown. We have just had our first meal from this service to be taken during a zoom dinner with another family. The food was well up to the normal standard of the restaurant. In short, the food was excellent. We shall certainly order again and I would strongly encourage others to do so. This is a restaurant that deserves to beat the lockdown. The main rating scheme for Trip Advisor does not suit this type of meal so I have not completed most of it.

Litrally just left this place and wow food was amazing and frank made our experience lovley what a character...left giggling...perfect wee place will definitely be back and reccomending to everyone

I would just like to say a big thankyou to ownwer who was serving us today . My mum and I ate here today (my mum's recommendation) and the food, atmosphere and service was excellent to say the least. We only popped in on the off-chance they would be open and were made extremely welcome I had chicken burger and my mum had beef stew we also had two cocktails the value for money was excellent. I'd like to wish everyone in Roastit Bubbly Jocks every success and after things hace settled down we will definately be back. Thankyou so much for a lovely afternoon.
