Located on Dromores Bridge Street and up two flights of stairs, this little "Tea Room" is quite a hidden gem. Delicious home cooking, main courses and deserts enjoyed by delighted customers in a cosy warm atmosphere. Friendly female staff, table service and open lit fire during the winter months. Free 4 hour time limited parking a short stroll away of Church Street emerging onto Gallows Street.

Been dining here since it opened 20 years ago. Great home cooking. Wonderful staff, first class food and the best place to eat in Dromore. A coffee and dessert or even a large (I mean large) full meal. The best value in the ABC Council area and beyond. Also the Christmas Dinners are really worth waiting for. Continued success to Michelle, Adele and Andrea.

Great menu. The dinner has a feel of being at home and having the best home made grub you've ever had. Plenty of it and reasonably priced. Well worth a visit.

Lovely food, good service and the elevated first floor positon over the river to one side makes it feel different to all the other places to eat. Will go again!

It doesn’t come much better than this. The food is beautiful home cooked food. You feel like you’re sitting at your granny’s kitchen table all over again. The girls couldn’t be any nicer. And do a great job of remembering a face. Couldn’t beat the portion sizes or value for money.. absolute best place I know for a tasty lunch, I recommend to anyone who will listen. Keep up the great work 5*** Oh and make sure you get a wee toffee mallow while you’re there 👌🏻

What a cracking find . Well worth a visit as easy to park with a gift shop on ground level as cafe is upstairs. Spotless clean and the food was delicious and home made. A party of four we all had different things from the menu. Reasonably price with fresh quality ingredients. No mention about the cakes that were available as the sponge cake was devine with a cuppa. Tip…take cash as no card facility.

So glad we found this cafe. The staff were so friendly on arrival. The home cooked food on display all looked delicious. 4 of us had a variety of food for lunch. Paninis were huge, served with a lovely salad and coleslaw. The mince pie served with mash and veg was a big plateful and delicious. Variety of hot and cold drinks, total £36. Excellent value. We didn't have room for dessert so 2 slices of cake to take away for later. Couldn't fault it. Highly recommend.

Usual place was closed. Menu limited and tasty. Dining area is up stairs. Would be a challenge for someone with limited mobility.

Our first time there for breakfast. Opening at 9.30 a.m we made our way up the stairs to a well set out first floor dining room overlooking Bridge Street. Very friendly welcome. Nice atmosphere. Excellent breakfast and good coffee and tea - all freshly made and hot! Made a note of some super looking cakes and scones for a coffee morning visit soon.

Had lunch in the court yard. Only 6 tables, which meant it was nice and quiet. You had to order upstairs in the main cafe (not so good if you have mobility issues) & the food & drinks were delivered to you. The food was gorgeous. Everything is homemade & this reflects in the taste. Load of sweet treats to tempt everyone. My son choose the apple pie.....wish I had chose this also....beautiful. Will be back.

Beautiful location in the heart of Historic Dromore

I had Xmas lunch here with family. I found the place to be excellent. The food was out of this world excellent. The staff were tripping over themselves to help you to enjoy your meal. When it came to paying i was totally surprised at the value, considering I had main, sweet and a latte coffee. All covered for less than £20. Would very highly recommend.

Open for take away during lockdown, close to town square with benches and public toilets. Can recommend the full fry.

Visited this little place today with my dad and my daughter and it was really lovely. Had never been before and we were made so welcome. The food was really lovely and all freshly made (including the kids meal for my daughter) and the desserts were gorgeous. So nice to see somewhere serving good simple honest home cooked food nowadays rather than all the ultra modern coffee shops and chains we see everywhere! We will definitely be back. The price was reasonable too £23 for two adults and a child and we all had 2 courses and were full to bursting after. Would definitely recommend!

The food is amazing in this place, fresh, homemade and good variety. It is on the 1st floor so not disabled friendly but if you can manage the stairs it really is worth a visit. There is a great wee gift shop on the ground floor and again both places have really friendly staff. Lots of regulars seem to be there the last time I was in...... Always a good sign.

We call into Michelle’s regularity for lunch. Very varied menu. Always tasty. Fairly priced and nice coffee. The staff make you very welcome.

We asked another shop in Dromore where to eat and was told about this restaurant. Could not recommend it enough. Good wholesome homemade cooking. It is very reasonably priced and a very varied menu. I had chicken pie, full of chicken, chips, real mushy peas and carrot and parsnip. As you can see I got plenty!

Such a lovely place for lunch. My friend and I had stopped for something to bite and there was a lovely range of food to choose from. Only thing was the room was a bit stuffy with the heat and humid air.

Called in on Saturday for a coffee but when I seen the dinners that were being served I changed my mind. I had a lovely dinner of boiled ham with boiled & roast potatoes and fresh vegetables. This was a fantastic dinner. I never knew this restaurant was here & I only live 4 mile away. Will definitely be back! Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful.

The Riverside Tea rooms never disappoints always fab food and great friendly service. It is Dromores little gem.

Great affordable food served with a smile. The quote of the week on a small blackboard is always very funny. Well worth a visit. Their scones are superb, as is the chicken curry, gougons etc etc etc. Maybe see you there,

Used to love coming here when we lived in Dromore a few years ago. Happened to be in the area today so we called in for some lunch. Both meals were thoroughly enjoyed and still as nice as we remember. Absolutely worth going to if you want some lovely homemade food!

Chicken and ham disappointing the chicken was definitely cheap chicken and had no taste. Stew dry and potatoes hard. Tables sticky hadn’t been washed properly. Staff friendly but I’ll not be back sorry

I had a green tea and a home made mince pie that was special. I sat at a table overlooking the river and the stone bridge. The rea room was lovely decorated for the Xmas season.

This could be so much better. Having looked at the tripadvisor stars for this place we called for lunch as we were shopping in this area. It is very welcoming despite the 2-flights of stairs I made my mother climb but figured it would be worth it. Two of our party ordered the roast beef dinner and we waited for our meal - however, my meal arrived a good 10 minutes before the remaining meals arrived ( I was having warm quiche and salad) so my quiche was lukewarm by the time I started eating. The roast beef meals looked lovely with 2 nice thick slices of beef...but.....they were as tough as leather and my mother left both slices. She didn't want fuss and wouldn't allow me to complain. A lady came to clear our table ( we were awaiting coffees) and not once did she ask if we had enjoyed our meal despite seeing the roast beef on the plate!!!!..when our coffees finally arrived the order was wrong. We were so disappointed and although we will be back in this area we will definitely not be back here and could not recommend​ it.

Este es un excelente lugar que encontré hace un par de años. Me visita unos 3 / 4 veces al año cuando viaja a las carreras en el Real. Está a un par de minutos de la carretera Dublin/Belfast. La comida es deliciosa y abundante y excepcional relación (no como la estafa de los precios en el sur de Irlanda). La confitería es casera y muy sabrosa. Regresará al lugar esta vez y de nuevo.

Vine aquí con mi esposa para nuestra tercera visita y nuevamente fue una experiencia muy agradable. No es el lugar más fácil de encontrar, para llegar allí a pie por la calle del puente en la dirección de la manera y en la derecha, justo antes del río (arriba de la tienda de regalos)

Mi familia es de Dromore, así que cada vez estoy más que visitar este café enanas por encima de la tienda de regalos. Nunca decepciona. Sirven deliciosa comida casera, con un énfasis en calidad. Siempre es razonable, con una buena selección de comida de cenas para paninis y pasteles.

Casa excelente para hornear y todo el personal es excelente y sirve una gran selección de comida de desayuno para llevar. También puede ser reservado para una fiesta privada, que también he hecho y era un excelente lugar y nos atendieron muy bien.

Recomiendo encarecidamente este café excelente, generosas porciones buena variedad de platos de cocina casera amable y acogedor personal

This is a home cooking dream house, all the food if baked and cooked by the owners. The pies are freshly baked and full of flavour and the desserts are fantastic. I would recommend this place to anyone. Please try it and I know you will be pleased.

My sister was city me just a quick run into the town to get a few items and as usual she can't do without coffee I suggested the Riverside tea room. I had heard lots of people talk about the food . So now having tried it for myself I can thoroughly say the BEST in town.

Really nice place to eat, good honest home cooking. Nothing is too much bother, just ask! Relaxed atmosphere, serves a good Ulster Fry in the mornings. I have also enjoyed lunch here, always a nice varied selection on for lunch. Friendly and prompt service. It is up stairs so not appropriate for wheelchair users or possibly mums with prams. It is quite an old building and has been sympathetically refurbished, right at the riverside. Overall a cosy, friendly and clean place to eat.

An excellent location for breakfast, lunch, coffee/tea, scones, etc. All freshly made and homemade and with great taste and quality. My first visit. though not the first for my companion. I will return not only for the great food but because the pleasant efficient staff made my vist memorable.

The staff were all very friendly and did not mind us rearranging the furniture so 12 of us could eat together. The food was served roasting hot and very generous sized portions!
