Lovely place food was really good as was the service Lasagna was wonderful as was the pannacotta dessert Staff were really friendly Definitely recommend a visit here if you like Italian food

I wanted to write a review to say what a fabulous meal we had this evening. The service was great, food was amazing . We had a choice of starters including calamari, king prawns and hallomi. For mains we had pizza, risotto, lasagna and calzone. There was a busy atmosphere which was great to see. With drinks including wine, beer and 2 courses for a family of 4 £105.

This Restaurant is the best in Melton. The food is excellent and the staff are lovely. We often go to the Cinema and then have a great meal next door.

Having never been before, we decided to try Bellini after visiting the Regal Cinema next door. We had heard nothing but good things about it, so our expectations were high. It’s fair to say that our high expectations were more than met! We were greeted warmly by the staff, and shown to our table straight away. The menu is extensive; there really is something for everyone, and that’s before you look at the specials board! Between us and our six-year-old son we had a range of pizza, pasta and meat dishes. The pizza was stone cooked and topped with high quality ingredients - it was a really good pizza. My partner’s pasta dish was flavoursome and generously portioned. I chose fillet steak in a white wine and mushroom sauce from the specials board, and it was truly wonderful. The meat was faultless. Having enjoyed our dinner so much we spoiled ourselves with the “cheesecake of the week,” which this week was Kinder Bueno. This was also incredible. Prices were reasonable; our bill came to £80 for the three of us with drinks and desserts. And our boy was delighted to be presented with a Drumstick lolly at the end too. If you haven’t been, please go. It’s brilliant.

We had an amazing meal here last night. I had pappardelle stroganoff which was delicious, with a lovely tomato and cream sauce. My husband had pollo picante which was equally good. The side salad ( for one ) was easily enough for two and the potatoes and veggies served with the chicken were also generous ( and we were very hungry having hiked for most of the day) We finished with crème brûlée which was also delicious. What impressed me most was that the food was piping hot, served with a smile and no more than 15 minutes after we had ordered. It was cooked from fresh, as we had a good view of the kitchen. I would definitely return if we were in the area.

Business meal with colleagues staying overnight in Melton. Great menu with all that you would expect from an Italian restaurant. All food was well presented and plentifully. Wine and drinks reasonably priced. Service very good. Calves liver main course was excellent however very thin slices and cooked through. Celebrating my 70th birthday, with 20 family and friends of various ages, from 5 years old to 75 years young. We preordered our meal as it was close to Christmas, menu was amazing - from delicious king prawn, baby monkfish tails to fabulous fillet steaks. The restaurant was very busy but everything went smoothly, Service was the Best, All food came to the table together, everyone's meal was delightful. Everyone without exception enjoyed, food, ambience and drinks, Thankyou Bruno, Rafie, Morgie and the team, you work so well together.

Me & the mrs took a crowd of us there in December, first time we had been. Food was good, place was clean & nice service. The place was busy. Would go there again & try some different dishes. The prices are reasonable. Parking across the road is free after around 6 ish

We’ve just returned from many years of living in Italy and were a little apprehensive when someone suggested that we try Bellini in Melton. Our experience of Italian restaurants in the U.K. hasn’t great in the last year. Rarely are they are authentic and usually the dishes are not created with true Italian ingredients. Bellini was a pleasant surprise. We were a party of 7 and had booked to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were not disappointed. Everyone choose something different and so there was a wide selection. The whole group enjoyed their meal. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauces tasty. The steak was high quality and the fish nicely served. Staff were attentive, polite and knew what they were doing. We were not rushed but it was efficient. This is definitely going to become a regular haunt for us now that we’ve discovered it. Thank you team for a lovely meal. See you again soon.

Excellent Italian restaurant - the highlight of our trip to Melton. The monkfish was particularly delicious. Service was excellent i.e. efficient and friendly without being intrusive. I would certainly recommend.

We had a fantastic night thank you so much for letting the four of us old Army friends have a really good laugh without being told to keep the noise down. The food was great and the staff were really kind. Once again thank you.

Their lunchtime special menu is simply fantastic value. On a damp Wednesday we found ourselves nearby, and were surprised to find virtually every table taken. A happy, friendly atmosphere, and a delicious simple plate of food and a soft drink for under £11. Amazing value. Read a few of the reviews - lots of people have found the place virtually full. There's a reason for that, and I imagine those in the know come back time and time again. Bravo Bellini.

The place was almost full on a Tuesday lunchtime, which not many restaurants can boast. The lunchtime pasta specials were clearly popular though we went a la carte. Beautifully prepared garlic king prawns were an excellent starter. I had spicy pasta for main but regretted not following the rest of the table with a fish dish. It was terrific according to my much travelled friends. I will definitely return

🌟WHAT A LOVELY RESTAURANT🌟 I booked a birthday meal here for 9 people and I was very pleased with the outcome. -The communication with the staff was great and very responsive. Pre ordering was needed, due to the size of the party (via email and phone). - We spoken to them about decorating the table, the night before the meal. The decorations were outsourced, the table was all dressed up for us and the price was added to the bill at less than £10. It was very reasonable. -A pre made cake, by ourselves was dropped off the night before. They kindly brought it to the table after we had our main courses. Candles were lit and they were singing happy birthday. - The food served was very tasty and good quality. Nobody on the table had any complaints. - The price was very reasonable too. -The only 1 minor downfall I had was that the birthday was a surprise. We pre booked food for everyone, other than who the birthday was for. When the food came out, we had to order the food for the birthday guest (as this was forgotten). This was also partially my fault for not remembering (I cannot hold the staff at the restaurant fully responsible for this). The food for the birthday guest came out sharply and was remedied nicely. (5 stars for service would have been given otherwise). All in all, I would highly recommend restaurant Bellini to anyone. They have the customers hearts at mind and nothing is too much for them. 🙏🌟💙💖💞

Monday night meal for 6 friends and the restaurant was nearly full! We dine here regularly and they really look after you with excellent service, good meals and wine at good prices. A bottle of Monte for less than £20. If you want good food, a bit of a buzzy Italian feel and good value then this is for you.

On a wet October Monday evening in Melton Mowbray, to be honest, we didn’t have high expectations of finding a superb restaurant. Yet we were wrong - we found Bellinis - and it was excellent. Very attractive layout; extremely welcoming and helpful staff; a comprehensive menu catering for every different person’s expectation of “Italian cuisine”; speedy service; a very reasonable price; and - unusual for a good Italian restaurant - open on Mondays. Would definitely recommend.

Great food and good service. The restaurant was full however didn't need to wait to long before food came out, all dishes were really tasty and good quality.

Bellini used to be our no. 1 goto restaurant in Melton because of the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff. Then for one reason or another we drifted away. Recently we've eaten here again, as a couple and also with our family, including grandchildren. It's been a revelation as nothing has changed other than a few staff members. The food is, as it ever was, high quality Italian, with some of the freshest seafood we've tasted in a long time. The whole place runs like clockwork, from hard-working and talented chefs to on the ball waiting staff managed superbly and with a smile. I would recommend Bellini to anyone who enjoys very good Italian food at a reasonable price. I can't wait for my next visit!

THE best Italian I have been to in a long time! Came here half a dozen times over from the Premier Inn across 2 weeks and service is always friendly, attentive, and polite. Each time I went I got a completely unique 3-course meal and no meal has even come close to disappointing me. All well presented, and a delight to polish off. Pricing is extremely reasonable too for the quality of food you get (can comfortably get 3-courses in for under £30). Couldn't recommend more!

Had a lovely meal here- 3 courses- all fab… but lasagne was huge- and the anti pasti big enough to share! Thank you to staff for bringing out our little birthday cake!

Heard so many good reports of Bellini, so finally had the perfect opportunity to visit, celebrating the mother in laws birthday for lunch. Opted for the set menu, great value. My Penne Straganoff was devine as was everyone else's mood. Lovely ambience and first class service. We'll be back for dinner. A real Melton gem.

Read the reviews so decided to try this place and we were not disappointed. Great food, friendly service, sensible prices and a good place to be. The food was fresh, vibrant, well-presented and tasty and no freezer bag calamari, meat or fish. It's not often that you find a place like this so cherish it and use it. Highly recommended.

Lovely food, good staff, very child friendly. Managed to fit us in, 7 people, very short notice. No children’s menus but they do smaller portions and didn’t charge for an ice cream. Definitely would return.

Been there last night, we didnt booked in table but being settled nicely despite it was over booked (our bad that we did not reserve early) but luckily we were served. Fresh, delicious food. We was looking for somewhere to eat, we was visiting Rutland. Found it online, just called in to see if they had table for four. They did. Staff very friendly, helpful. Food was excellent, service equally good. Very nice place. Well worth going to eat there. We found that most places in oakham where we was staying didn't sell Food on Mondays or was closed. But think we found a very good restaurant in the end.

An excellent meal, as always. Raphaelle and his staff were very attentive, as always. We will look forward to eating there again soon and hope to see Bruno back when he is able.

Visited for the first time last Saturday evening. Bigger inside than I expected having passed it from outside many times. All staff were very friendly and efficient. Good selection on the menu covering pasta, pizza, meat and fishes mains. The sirloin steaks were great as was the pollo picante. Considering how busy the place was the service and arrival of the food was really prompt. Would definitely visit again.

My husband and I only visited the area for a few days and we went to the local cinema and the staff recommended this Italian restaurant. We weren’t disappointed. The owner (we think?) who served us was charming as were all the staff. We ordered the pate and halloumi for starter. Because we weren’t super hungry, we just had carbonara for main and a bottle of Pinot Grigio. We were going to order two side salads but were told they were large and one might be enough (thankful for that recommendation as it was enough). Everything was delicious and the service was great, including the nice touch of bread, oil, and balsamic on the table.

First time eating here and wow, what a great experience. Staff are so welcoming and food was simply fantastic. The best Lasagne I’ve ever had? I think so. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing food. I had Risotto Misto. So tasty and just the right amount. Parmesan and black pepper offered. Food came out piping hot. Nice to see an open working kitchen. Service was quick. Everyone friendly and checking on you. Came in off the off chance and got seated. I Ordered Creme Brulee. It is lovely and served with a wafer. Will definitely be returning.

Had an absolutely fantastic meal here a couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious, great value, very well presented and a really wide choice. The service was superb, attentive without being too intrusive, fast without feeling rushed. I thought my family must have tipped them off about it being my birthday meal as my desert came with a candle, but no, the waiter had just picked this up from an overheard comment and took the initiative. Well done to all.

Called on spec and they squeezed us in. Friendly, attentive staff, fantastic food, freshly cooked and very tasty and can highly recommend. My monkfish from the specials board was superb. We indulged in the white chocolate profiteroles as well. Well worth a visit.

We had a lovely Pre- Mothering Sunday meal for myself and my mum and my son. The food, service, and price was extremely good. We all had a fabulous time and nothing was too much trouble.
