Lovely delicious fish and chips. Big fresh fish, portions on the large side but that's not a negative. Staff are lovely and friendly. My Dad loves his fish and chip day.

Absolutely delicious. I ordered a classic fish n chips and it was so crispy and fresh. Very generous portion indeed. Highly recommend!

Called here due to corona virus and not many fish shops open Glad we did this is probably the best we’ve had for a long time Top quality good prices good customer service and all marked out 2m distances to stay safe Will be going out of my way and calling again.top chippy.

Looking forward to chippy yesterday the 16/4/20 seen as it’s lockdown and we heard this chippy was open., (yey we thought!! ) Placed our order, was charged for 2 large fish and chips, 2 peas curry sauce and 2 rissoles! £20 got home only one fish ... ripped off and in the peas, what appeared to be like a sweeping brush hair! Not sure what it was but that’s what I can describe what it looked like! Very disappointed tried to ring them but don’t thing they was manning the phones. Wasn’t like we could drive back out! As my partner called on way home from work! This used to be a decent chip shop!

Called to day first time for ages still as nice really enjoy there food just one thing I need to down size in future far to much for us Staff really nice and polite will be going back again1000%

Go to this fish shop in Rotherham nearly every Friday for our supper, I travel from Barnsley because it’s probably one of the best in South Yorkshire. Friendly staff and the food is 1st class , well done guys 👍👍

just visited rongobells chipy wanted a pam butty we dont sell em ok beefburger butty we dont have them so we had a fishcake butty it was luke warm very dry also overpriced but hes got to pay for his farrari some how wont be going again very poor

I’ve just had the worst experience ever never had a problem with ring o bells but tonight a staff member started having a go at me and shouting because I pointed out a mistake to my order and said like it’s fine it’s nothing to worry about saying she didn’t like my attitude when I didn’t say anything just waiting for my food and leading to me having a panic attack great customer service guys

By a country mile the greasiest fish and chips i have had in 40 years. Had to leave most of the chips as i was starting to wretch. Still feel queasy a day later. Was that greasy it seeped through 20 pages of newspaper i put it on. I'll stick to Davians.

Ther cod and chips ar superb and the portions are huge. I had their scampi meal at just £4.25 and it was enough for two people Visit the shop and you will not be disappointed.

This is a good chippie that is always busy. There are better and cheaper places around but few in number. I would recommend this chippie even though I think it is 20% over priced

Why o why does the chip shop shut at 8.00pm on a Saturday night ? Surely you are missing a trick here. Saturday should be one of the busiest nights of the week. We are new to the area and popped down for a takeaway meal after a busy day moving our sons furniture, only to be waved away at 7.59pm as the shop was closing. This is unusual as where I live most chippies stay open until 10.00 - 11.00pm down in Kent

First time I've been here, would definitely go again. Had the chip butty and a portion of beans. Decent portion sizes and tasty food. Reasonably priced and woman serving was friendly.

We had the Ring o bells cater our school Fish and Chip supper. What a fantastic service! The food was great, very well priced and the service was excellent from start to finish. They even phoned to make sure that the food was okay afterwards.

I had the jailbreak, live the fact that they put the sauce/peas on your chips then put the fish on. The fish was beautiful , batter gorgeous. My husband had the large fish , 'oh my word, whale sized fish.' Beautiful fish and chips, we will be back. Staff amazing and attentive.

Always have the mini cod special with curry. Never had a bad meal from here yet and the curry sauce is best around

I must have come on a bad night. Wednesday, February 7 at 8PM. Ordered a to go fish and chips. My girlfriend had a kebab. The kebab was nice, but my fish and chips were horrible greasy.

Amazing large portion of chips, real cod and large (can get a smaller fish). Tasty, I shared mine with the wife, and still got lots. Couldn't believe it when a child asked for the same and an extra sausage AND HIS MUM BOUGHT IT HIM, WHILST HAVING A SPECIAL SMALL CHIPS AND FISH FOR HERSELF. Mum buy the big one and share it, he will appreciate it more. A candidate for value for money, as well as friendly staff, gets my vote.

Visited here at lunch time and got the mini cod n chips special which comes with a choice of sauce as well. I opted for peas. It all comes in a box with the sauce separate for just under £5. There is nothing mini about the fish! Very generous portions and great tasting fish n chips :)

Lovely chip shop, food is really nice esp there scampi meal, really clean, always looks spotless and for me it's a great atmosphere with the staff and family run which you can tell in the standard of service you receive a must visit.

Chips are always great and perfectly cooked, service is fast, prices are really reasonable and the portions are large. A lovely little chip shop! A bit limited on the vegetarian options but no different to any other chip shop really.

Been to this chippy for years. The fish is always fresh and tasty and very meaty. The chips are lovely. The Donna kebabs are nice and filling. Too much for one person. Average priced. Can get really busy especially on a Friday tea time. But definitely worth waiting for ! Staff always seen friendly also.

It's a chippy. A good chippy. I'd rather get in the car and go there than walk to my local one.It's always busy. The fish is good with a light batter. The chips are fat and well cooked. Staff are friendly.But, they close early midweek. And if you go after 7pm they are likely to have run out of things. Usually beans.Still go 'cos it's by far the best chippy locally

I popped in here to buy a bag of chips for an elderly lady we were about to visit. The service was good, there were plenty of chips, enough for 3 of us! And they were cooked to perfection! Well worth a visit if in the area!

I have been going to this chippy for over 20 years and they don't come much better, good selection on offer including kebabs, they don't skimp on the portions either the mini cod meal is anything but mini, and the staff are always cheerful

This chippy is the best , mini cod meal is enough for anyone, the portion has never been mini , it's massive, all the staff r friendly so don't listen to any bad reviews, this chippy has won awards , the fish is tasty and the batter is so crispy , the gravy is good and they always give u plenty , had kebabs too they lovely

Always go most weeks...fish is nice and chunky and white...chips are nice plus they have other various foods e.g kababs...well worth the visit definitely recommend it...give it a try.

Great fish and chip supper on a cold Novembers night, nothing better. Spoilt by really unfriendly, miserable and rude person serving it. I hate miserable and unfriendly people, when they are serving you your tea its not good at all.

This is one of our favourite places to go for fish and chips. The fish is always fresh with crispy batter and chips are tasty. There is lots to choose from and it good value for money.

I come here virtually every Friday and it's always brilliant. Fish is great and the curry sauce is some of the best you can get from a chippy! Chips are also good and portions are just right. Staff are very friendly too, nothing will stop me coming back!

Decided to try a different fish bar to my not so usual one (only visit once every couple of months) and was sadly disappointed. The fish was tasteless and the batter soggy. Sorry guys but I'll be revisiting Dave's Fish Bar when the next urge for fish & chips hits us......

It is the best Fish and Chip shop. Staff are really friendly. Fish is really white and chunky, batter crispy.. The mini cod meal, not that the cod is small by any means, is well worth the money. My favourite chippy. Would recommend it to everybody

This is not the best looking fish and chip shop in the country, however for many years, it has produced great fish and chips and is the best place this side of Rotherham for good value fish and chips. They are traditional, whilst the serving size of both their fish and chips is substantial and good value for money. It is very rare that you find a small queue when you visit here, and I suppose this tells you everything you need to know.
