Rice House of Kebab & Wrap in Hounslow

Was attending a concert in Chiswick on Sunday 21st January and had two hours to get lunch before the concert started at 2pm. Was going to go to The Gunnersbury Pub on Chiswick High Rd but discovered it was closed and so starting walking down Chiswick High Rd passing the BSI building. Spotted Rice Persian Kitchen and it looked nice and had a Trip Advisor Recommended Plaque so we went in. The host Romina who is Iranian couldn’t be nicer and was so friendly. They showed my son how they made the bread starter. I had a Persian Stew with Saffron Rice which was delicious. My wife and son had Shishlick kebabs with Saffron Rice also wonderful - my son finished his off later that evening for tea! This restaurant serves wonderful food in a small but welcoming restaurant on the High Street. If we come to Chiswick again would be curious to try evening dinner there.

Incredible host and gorgeous food. We just went for some lunch but stayed longer than planned to have some coffee and baklava. We’ll definitely be back!

This place was AMAZING! We came for the fish and chips but don’t skip the Persian food — the Shirin Polo with lamb shank was the best I’ve ever had.

This place was INCREDIBLE! My family was here visiting my sister and brother-in-law and just wanted somewhere casual for some lunch, so they got on google and found RiCE. My mom and I split the cod and chips and the lamb shank shirin polo and I don’t think we stopped to breathe between bites because it was so good! Service was also fantastic, and cannot recommend enough!! Definitely worth stopping in!

The owner (Romina) is a very kind and welcoming lady and made our experience here very good. The taste of the food was splendid and the tahdig with Ghorme Sabzi was incredible. We will come back soon!
