good location, shocking service, cocktails were diluted as , food was cold and kinda minging, woman in the toilet selling flip flops shouted at me too

Great ambience and we enjoyed our Easter Sunday here. A beautiful spot to have drinks with friends.

Attended Revolution for my friends birthday. We booked bottomless brunch and pre ordered food, First drinks came, however we found it rather difficult and waited quite a while for second drinks. I will however say after this the service did pick up after our second drinks Food - we ordered a wide range of and although this was okay it wasn’t anything fantastic, personally the nicest part of my meal was the onion rings Drinks - drinks were also okay, Disappointing flavours, no cocktails unless you pay an additional £10, however as a whole they were decent We had about 20-30 minutes left of our booking and the server came over and informed us that they needed the table back bang on 16:30, prior to this time we had other customers coming over and sitting on the same table prior to our booking ending, this did make us uncomfortable. Overall i wouldn’t return, in my opinion this wasn’t value for Money and we will be going else where for better value for money

2 for 1 cocktails and cheap food. I recommend it to anyone who likes cocktails.

Bottomless brunch! Can’t rate it enough! Drinks were fast and consistent even after we paid. The hostess was fab….. st paddy’s day… green two piece suit! 👌🏼 Our server was on top throughout and we never had an empty glass…. White clip in her hair with long brown hair! The guy with blonde hair and black flick was on top and constantly having a good time as well! Fab brunch! Fab food! Fab staff! Fabulous brunch! Fast, helpful and fun! XxX

Came to Revolution on Friday to try the £2.99 meal deals. As soon as we walked in we were told that there is a backlog of orders and that it’ll be 20minutes and an hour later we are still waiting. People who arrived after us got served and we were told again that there is a backlog. Disgusting customer service and they didn’t communicate with us at all. If you are a POC be weary.

When I visited this restaurant in Newcastle, I ate fish and chips and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The staff was nice and helpful.

Super place to go - music was great but three of us were there and we had a few drinks , each time one of us went to the bar the prices changed for the same drinks? When l asked l l was told that l'd been charged wrong before? What 3 times??? Three different people??? Let you guess what's going on..........

Was quiet but it was only 1pm but got busy as we were leaving about 3.30. We had afternoon tea that was amazing. Not you usual sandwich scone and cake. Loved it.

We were gifted an afternoon tea voucher for Revolution Newcastle. It wasn't what I'd call your typical afternoon tea, it was mini burgers and fried chicken rather than sandwiches and there was no tea! I've not heard of an afternoon tea where you don't get tea or coffee before but I suppose there's a first for everything! The service was good - friendly staff. The savoury parts of the afternoon tea were tasty but it was more like a small lunch than an afternoon tea. The sweet part was disappointing, the waffle was dry. There was a shot of strawberry vodka but I don't like strawberry flavour so my husband drank mine. Just as well as it was served in a dirty shot glass. The brownie was nice and moist but served with squirty cream which evaporated by the time we came to eat it. Overall, not an awful experience but I'd call it a budget afternoon (tea) without the tea! Not likely to go for afternoon tea again but the vodka sounds good.

The staff were spot on, really looked after us, I wasn't expecting much from the food but I was pleasantly surprised how good it was, would happily go back.

Lovely vibe in here, the staff are the nicest bunch I’ve came across. Very accommodating and the food was fab. Made some cocktails with Chris which was a great experience and was offered multiple drinks in between. Would 100% recommend. Only regret is that we pre-booked our train home or we would have stayed longer! 🤍

We were sat on stools at a “table” when a member of staff came over and told us the stools were unsafe and it wasn’t a table? It was a radiator? I’ve never laughed so much in my life. Either way the health and safety regulations in this bar are beyond 0.

Enjoyed a lunchtime meal and drink in the January promotion. Excellent value, food was good, although not exciting in choice. Beautiful venue, helpful smiley staff.

Popped into the venue on Friday 15th December at arount 8pm with a group of colleagues as we normally love the atmosphere, music and the drinks, not this time we drank up and left quickly. All offers were stopped and the normal buy one get on on cocktails was off and all cocktails were full price. We stood in the only free area of the venue which was under the DJ, the staff had to access a window close by as a glass drop and the attitude of them asking us to get past was down right rude. They would not say anything and barge past us one said in an abrupt manner "You need to move!!" at which point we said, you need to stop letting people in as there is no where else to go. I appreciate this was a busy night as a lot of people were out on Christmas nights with work but the attitude puts me off visiting this venue again, the atmosphere is normally great in the venue but this spoilt it for everyone, we all drank up and left.

Went here for the YeeHaw bottomless brunch, despite ordering food in advance they didnt have my order, after re-ordering it came out and was warm not hot, and then even though I spent £50 on a ticket for the event was forced to pay £3 for a tiny cup of chips with my burger! Drinks were poor, no option of upgrading to premium despite having this advertised, and they ran out of a few mixers for cocktails too, not great!

Revolution is a beautiful looking bar. I believe it is within an old bank, maybe wrong but amazing anyway. It is a good atmosphere. Only problem is space. Main space is an aisle where most stand in and people move constantly up and down. Entertainment is great, all girl dancers work hard and look amazing. Staff always friendly. Music is great. But Space is why only 4 stars. My advice get rid of tables near the bar will open it up more for people going to the bar and more room for people to dance or stand.👍

Beautiful building with a great interior. Food and drink deal was excellent value but my partners asian bowl was 75% or more of lettuce and was missing many of ingredients listed on the menu. Service was adequate apart from 2 things. When we asked for a table for 2 the waitress gave us all I can describe as a look before seating us. Upon leaving we went to the bar to pay our bill and when we approached the bar overhead the waitress gossiping with a couple of her colleagues about the table she had just taken payment from.

This was a pretty lounge for visiting with my friends, having ancient architecture throughout the interior! The counter is stylish too, staff were friendly and I downed a top raspberry shot.

Dirty tables. No staff attending tables. . Got told to download app if we wanted to order food. Dirty plates sat all night. Had to clear our own plates to another free table so we could clear some space. A girl wearing a headset eventually came to move some. Had a lovely evening the night before at the Botanist so this was disappointing as had been looking forward to it.

Had bought a voucher from Virgin experience for the bestie for her birthday. Booked for a mid week slot and have had a lovely time. Processco was nice, afternoon tea was of a good standard. Connor one of the bar staff was excellent. Such a breath of fresh air. 5 stars just for him.

My girlfriend and I visited here for the burger and beer deal. Everything ran smoothly and good didn’t take overly long at all. The burgers were quite dry despite having Mexican cheese sauce in them and the buns were also quite dry, I would hazard a guess that both were frozen. The beer was definitely required to help it down. The saving grace was the chips, they were absolutely amazing. Fluffy on the inside and crispy outside. I would definitely come back for drinks as it looks like a great cocktail spot. I would probably give the food a miss though.

Excellent service. Server went through offers on the menu. Showed me where could charge my phone. He made recommendations from the menu. The lady who brought my meal checked everything was OK. The staff gave me a bit of local advice as I was trying to decide best way to get somewhere. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and I felt at ease being there on my own

Not the same as it was years ago! Serves slow! Some of the cocktails are not made freshly, just poured from a bottle and topped up with the mixer! Avoid if you want a nice cocktail and good food as there are places around better!
