This is without doubt, the best restaurant around. Solid and consistently produces top notch food with a great atmosphere and amazing service. It’s our go-to now for cocktails, drinks and food!

Was a 5/5 last visit this time not as exceptional but still tasty food . Expensive but you do pay for good quality and of course tapas can be that more expensive . Omelette was fishy . Cauliflower still contained leaf although service is always friendly and attentive and I would recommend for very good food and drink .

I live locally and pass this place daily, and have always thought l must try it. An old friend is even the niece of the owners. Why l haven’t been before l don’t know!!! It was WONDERFUL!!! The best tapas we have ever eaten!! All the staff are very friendly, but the the charming and funny bar man Cristian was the cherry, that made our experience superb.

Yesterday, we went to Andalucia to attend a flamenco performance. This was our last visit on the basis of a recommendation from a friend. Well, we will be back! It was outstanding in terms of the food, drinks, staff, and entertainment. We have already made reservations for the following flamenco event, and we have been informed that they have many more planned throughout the year. Their house band provided wonderful entertainment & music. True Spanish entertainment in a true Spanish restaurant—what more can you ask for? I cannot praise the quality of the food enough! The prawns were delicious, as were the lamb, manchego, and jamon. Myself and my friends cannot wait to try more next time- I’m already dreaming of more chocolate cheesecake. We definitely recommend the sangria too! Thank you, Andalucia, and keep it up.

Went for lunch. Food tasteless and overpriced for portions served. If you blinked you missed the tiny, tiny bits of cucumber and avocado in the salad. Thought we would be able to get a good Rioja wine but sadly No. 🙈

In Summary: Wine Bar staff are the best element of Andalucia. The food is good. The restaurant staff let it down a little. There are too many tables squeezed in too close together. Try not to arrive early, waiting in the wine bar area is something I would prefer to avoid. The Wine Bar staff are very friendly and welcoming. They have a cocktail menu, although they are also happy to mix any cocktail you desire if they have the ingredients available. Because they book out places at the bar for people to eat, seating was a bit limited, so probably not somewhere I would come for more than one drink. As we had a table booked in the restaurant area we were happy to stand while we waited for our table to be ready (we had arrived a little early). Shown through to the restaurant, it's a very well-lit area at the back of the property and deceptively large. The decor is appealing, and although this is a tapas venue, they have resisted the urge to try to replicate a Spanish Taverna from the 19th century. Our table was not a great table to be honest. Tapas for two is always going to be a problem because the table will not be big enough to get all your dishes on. We ended up having to stack plates and rush to finish some dishes simply so we could make room for the next ones to be brought to the table. The waiting staff were busy. But not to the point of having to rush around, and I would say they had it about right in terms of numbers. Unfortunately, the service with a smile message so evident in the wine bar does not seem to have filtered through to the restaurant. I don't think I saw a smile all evening until it was time to pay. There was very little interaction from the staff, even to the point that plates were put on our table without telling us what they were. A couple of times we weren't sure which of the items from the menu we were eating! And I'm sure one of the plates was not what we ordered, but only realised half way through! It was very nice though so we didn't mind. The food was good. Patatas Bravas lacked the spice I would normally expect, but the Merzula (crispy hake) was superb. We had a generous bowl of Pimientos De Padron (Padron peppers), which were a pleasant change in colour on the table from the usual reds and oranges associated with Spanish cuisine. The chocolate mouse for dessert was, again, a good size portion which we probably could have shared. But, perhaps after tasting it you would not want to share! It was divine! Andalucia, for me, isn't somewhere I will rush to return to. At £150 for two (two drinks each, 9 dishes between us and a dessert each) I thought it was at the higher end of the price scale for a local (not town centre venue. I will go again, I'm sure, but more because I can walk home at the end of the evening.

I have had gripes in the past, hot plates long before the food, then everything arriving at once. However, tonight it was pretty much perfect with the tapa nicely spaced and beautifully cooked, The staff are attentive and available

We visited here for my mums birthday a few weeks ago! It was my first time and it definitely didn’t disappoint! The staff were so friendly (particularly Nigel) and the food was delicious. Would definitely come back to celebrate another occasion.

Stopped off for lunch as the sun was shining. Only ordered 4 dishes but the hake in tempura batter so wonderful we had to order a second portion. All the dishes were really lovely and service cheerful and efficient. Definitely worth a visit.

We haven’t been here for a while due to the pandemic etc but went last night for the first time in about three years and it was just as delicious as we remember! Such a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and cocktails. Wish we had something like this in our own village but because the food is so nice, we are happy to travel for a nice meal.

4 of us visited for lunch. Firstly, the food was very good, although, as others have said, apart from the Patatas Bravas, the portions are small, especially when considering the price. 2 of our party had Irish Coffees, both of which tasted unlike any such Irish Coffee they had previously been served! We should really have brought that to the attention of the waiter. We didn’t have a large meal, and only one bottle of the cheapest wine plus 2 small beers, but the final bill worked out at £45 per head - ouch!

By the time this review is published it will be less relevant, but our experience needs noting! A favourite eatery in normal times, circumstances dictated that takeaway tapas was in order. Telephone ordering was a breeze; collection arrangements first class. And the food.....! Absolutely the same high quality product that we've come to know and love, we just had to eat it in our own home. It will be great to visit (sooner rather than later) once restrictions are eased and experience Andalucia as it should be, but in the meantime thank you for giving a taster (pun intended) of a great tapas restaurant.

We pre-ordered a few days before at least 4 days for mother’s meal for delivery at 4pm which came a lot earlier. The food itself was top notch, the meat perfectly cooked, and patatas Bravas were amazing. This is our third order, and each time it’s been prefect, looking forward for a post lockdown dine in!

Positives-Decor and atmosphere lovely and food generally nice without the "wow factor" Negatives-Overly expensive and inattentive service. I would suggest that each dish is 20% too expensive and without the attention to detail, service or portion size to justify. An example would be 3 meatballs for £8. A portion of peppers lacking the key ingredient (crunchy salt) for £6 plus. Steered clear of the steak tapas dishes which looked around £16!! Service was lacking and a couple of dishes and the jug of water for the table forgotten without an apology, no clear direction for staff or areas that they each looked after but a lot just hovering around. Overall the food nice but won't be rushing back.

Hard to find a local tapas restaurant in Worthing and this place was recommended. The food was really good. Probably the nicest meal we have had in recent years. I agree that the plates are small and expensive and we found that between two of us, six was the right amount. We had the prawns, calamari, pork belly, mussels, lamb and garlic potatoes. We also had some of the nicest desserts ever including the passion fruit cheesecake with coconut ice cream. I can't fault the food at all, it was really delicious. What I can take issue with is the Sangria which was £22 for a litre. That gave us one glass each of what tasted like watered down red wine and usually you can taste the spirits added such as brandy but this was actually quite bland and I suspect it was just red wine, ice and orange pieces. The meal costs £106 for two people which is very expensive in my view but as I said, the food was excellent. Avoid the Sangria. Mind you, as a large glass of white wine was £9.10, you are going to get fleeced on the drinks anyway.

Wonderful friendly, efficient service, felt very COVID friendly (in a good way), reasonably priced, delicious food with a good choice for all tastes, the only criticism, is that the food got cold way too quickly, as it was served on cold plates... the food was hot when it arrived at the table, but had no chance of staying warm on freezing cold plates - what a shame.

Firstly I will say they were the best prawns I have had in England. But at £11 for 4 prawns (ouch!) It isn't a cheap night. One thing I will say is table who arrived after us got served first. And some of our dishes came out before our first set of drinks, it's nice to have a drink and ponder the menu. We didn't get that. Great for two people to dine however some things that came out there were only three of.. bit annoying if there's four of you. The chorizo dish was hunt the chorizo slightly. Best porn star martini I ever had mind. Though the second martini...the prosecco shot was warm yuck. The food however was delicious there is no denying it was an amazing night for my taste buds. - didn't leave over full and uncomfortable that's the beauty of tapas I guess. Only other small tweak. It was a 30th birthday we did have balloons. Every place you go to normally offers some sort of complimentary shot or something... not acknowledged. So slightly disappointing. But had the best company in my other half who provided all the treats. I'd come again to celebrate Something...bit too expensive for just a weeknight...well, expensive for such a casual dress from the clientele. Have the lamb the Gambas and the padron peppers.

Tapas only menu available and with three friends that all like different foods was quite hard to pick to find food to share. Menu could have a little more variety - ie only mushrooms on the special and lots of aubergines dishes! (In person like aubergine in our group). Also wasn’t sure how many u received of each item u received - ie 2 lamb kebab, 4Prawns. However that being said the waitress suggested we order 2/3 dishes each and share - so with the help of a couple of specials that’s what we did! We ended up with a nice selection and we all found quite a few dishes we enjoyed. Food didn’t come out altogether comes when ready. But every dish was lovely and tasty! Even had dessert - an almond and orange cake which was very light! Would go again - food was lovely. Some dishes can be expensive for the amount u get - but would recommend going in a small group to try all the different dishes!

We found this place on google search and it had great reviews so gave it a go. We were not disappointed. The place is deceptively large and care has been taken to meet Covid restrictions. Staff were polite, friendly and welcoming. The tapas were delicious. We’ll definitely been visiting again.

To have such a pleasant restaurant serving tasty tapas so close to home, especially as noone else offers the same without a lengthy drive, is good fortune indeed. Despite some of the reviews here suggesting otherwise, the food is well-prepared and consistently good. The menu isn’t vast and doesn’t seem to vary much but the Andalucia team is experienced at what they offer. The gluten-free choice is diverse and makes up a large proportion of the available dishes, so happy smiles all round. As with all tapas, the plates are served as soon as they’re ready, so ordering half a dozen dishes at once means a potentially odd combination on the table at any one time. Order in series if you’re particular about this.The service is good. Our server had been there just a couple of days but knew how to look after customers. She didn’t have all the answers but willingly acknowledged her limitations and quickly enlisted the help of more experienced staff. They did have the answers.The restaurant is tastefully and comfortably modern, well-lit and attractive. Covid precautions are evident although better signposting at the entrance would help. This is a now-and-then restaurant. The range of dishes means I wouldn’t want to cone back every week but I do look forward to enjoying lunch at Restaurante Andalucia again in a couple of months. Fingers crossed that Covid restrictions will still allow this to happen!

Visited mid week with our daughter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Andalucia never fails to disappoint. The food was great, even with reduced menu. Extremely efficient staff. Hand sanitiser was available at entrance to the restaurant. Social distancing was being followed. I think they are doing extremely well in these difficult times.

Booked a meal for 4 people months ago for a 50th birthday this weekend.Surprised to receive a curt email informing me that it is cancelled & offered a 4pm slot!I appreciate these are difficult times, but we are a family of four and our meal would have easily have finished by 10pm.They didn’t even bother to respond to my email & for that reason we will never return.

Been here a few times and food never disappoints. We arrived no hand sanitizer in sight no staff in face masks or shields. Menu limited and laminated never once saw the menus wiped or cleaned in any way. This I must say put me off as we are living in strange times Hope they get these few things sorted just to make the place safe for everyone like I said cannot fault the food.

Visited on Friday evening for my daughter’s birthday. Food was lovely & staff great. (We were served by a very efficient & friendly waitress from the Alicante area ) One concerning issue, in these days where Covid 19 infections are on the rise , none of the staff were wearing face masks & as far as I could see there was no hand sanitiser in the restaurant. They did take our contact details which was something. I do think they need to be more Covid aware & up their game before they end up having to close because a guest or staff member has tested positive. Also our greeting could have been warmer. The staff ought to have been more aware of our reservation & it would have been nice not to be left standing like lemons as they scrambled about pouring over their reservation list trying to locate our booking.

I’ve been meaning to come here for some time, after reading some great reviews. The food was excellent. Only one small niggle. After seeing a billboard outside, advertising buy one get one free cava cocktails, we decided to order 2. The bill came, we’d been charged for both! The waitress said ‘it only applies to the bar, not the restaurant’! Perhaps they could point this out to the customer. Other than that, we had a very enjoyable lunch.

My other half and I went to Andalucia for our date night. It was recommended to us by friends and we weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious, we ate so much because we wanted to try everything. Looks like we will have to return to eat more of the menu. The lamb and pil pil were phenomenal.

My wife booked this for our anniversary. When we got there we were told our table was in the bar ( not informed at time of booking) . The bar area was very noisy with quite a loud hen party. We said we couldn't eat in the bar with the noise as I wear hearing aids and struggle generally , so was offered a table at the back of the restaurant, but informed we could only have it for 1 hour, so all in all a poor evening and staff not friendly at all and slamming down 2 glasses of wine. We have been here a few times before but this will be our last as we were not made to feel welcome.

Nice looking place and pleasant staff. This is unfortunately not enough . . . the food needs to rise beyond bland. Unfortunately, it was not only bland, but also badly cooked - who manages to scorch the pimentos de padrón correctly, yet somehow manages to undercook them? As for seasoning, forget it - some tapas were plain nasty, and the whole experience cost over £70 for two with only a couple of glasses of wine. The best thing about the meal was the coffee at the end which was authentic and delicious. All rather sad, and not an experience I shall hurry to repeat.

We have lived in a Rustington for quite a few years now and have often meant to try Andalucia. We went for lunch today, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We started with Mancheo cheese with red onion relish and toasted bread with tomato and anchovy., then had meatballs with spicy sauce and lamb skewers. The food was so tastywe just had to try a dessert ! We both had Almond tart with ice cream, the tart was as light as a feather and the ice cream had to be home made it had so much flavour ! The meal was not cheap, but having gone without ourholiday abroad it was a welcome treat ! We will be going back soon.

First time out after lockdown, little nervous but should have known better, good spacing inside the restaurant and the usual superb if shortened menu( missed the almonds) and great service, sorry no photos food to good to waste time taking photos

It's sad to have to write this review having been a loyal customer of this restaurant and recommended it for many years. However last night was a return visit after lockdown and we thought we would take advantage of the eat out to help out scheme and support this business. Sure enough it was as busy as usual and we ordered some of our usual choices plus a couple of new ones. The food is of the the usual high standard but we noticed that some were now in smaller portions in particular the chorizo and even the bravas is on a smaller plate. The prices however have changed but in the wrong direction, what's happened to the vat reduction that's been passed on to the hospitality sector. The service was average with many new staff but lacking the sharpness we have had in the past. Our bill for 3 people came to £120 without service charge less the £30 government reduction £90. We did not have an expensive bottle of wine just beers and a glass of red. I'm sorry to say what we had did not justify £40 per head and based on that we are doubtful to return.

You get what you pay for . Food, staff, ambience was all amazing can not fault. Personally I would rather eat out once a week somewhere like this than go out to cheaper on a more often basis.

Food was as delicious as always and nice to see some new dishes available to try. It felt safe dining with all the new distancing measures and the staff were friendly and attentive. It was nice to dine out and forget about the worlds chaos for a while. Can’t wait to get back to restaurant soon.

Very Poor Service - meal was not worth ordering - could not get a response from the restaurant - would not eat from here again!!!

Ordered a takeaway - took over 2 hours to arrive and then was not hot. would not recommend. Would not answer telephone when chasing up delivery and very poor customer service.

I have reviewed it a lot higher as an eat in restaurant, and the first thing to remember is that not many takeaways are going to be as good as the food eaten at the restaurant.That said the meat dishes are very good, the squid (and that goes for anything fried), goes a bit soggy, the patatas were at best OK, the warm salad with some dishes was off-putting, and the aubergine is a completely different dish. So, value for money as a takeaway? You'd be better off with an Indian or Chinese. Therefore, can't wait for the restaurant to reopen!

Went with my mum recently. I hadn't been here for years. Service was slow, had to ask for a drink after waiting ages at table, restaurant wasn't that busy. We ordered 3 dishes and olives. Gorgeous, tasty, fat olives, delicious.Prawns x 3 were nice and fresh, not worth £3 each though. Potatoes with ali oli ok. Chicken with manchego cheese very tender and tasty. Glass of wine for my Mum, sangria for me, once eventually served.Nice atmosphere. Would visit again. Maybe staff just need to be aware of customers waiting to order once seated.Expensive tapas so a treat now and again. Would recommend to friends and family.

A group of us had evening tapas here. Delicious food, great service, friendly staff. There is a lovely bar for drinks before you eat.

I had never been to Andalucia before so my dad suggested taking me and my fiancée on a Saturday evening.If you want to go book in advance the only tables they had available when we booked two weeks in advance was 9pm. Didn’t bother us too much so we went for a drink before hand at the bar. We turned up at 8, aware we was early but wanted to sit at the bar and have a drink before we ate.The waitress looked at us shocked when we explained this to here and she said your a hour early? We said we know but we want to have a drink at the bar she said I suppose that’s ok! Not a great start.We then went to our table waited 30mins to order and when asked for advice waitress said 2/3 dishes per person so that’s what we done. Food took a while to arrive and when it did was 3 item of each dish but there was 4 of us? Felt out done by this and that we are paying for a dish we didn’t all get to try? We were starving so just ate. My dads girlfriend doesn’t drink alcohol so was having mocktails. One did arrive with alcohol in. We explained to the waitress and her reaction was awful. She said to us there isn’t any alcohol in it and acted like we was lying. She then said we have just changed the cranberry juice so may taste different we asked for a new one because it did have alcohol in it ! Food was good but total rip off for the portion sizing.When it came to paying the bill the waitress put the wrong price in the card machine so ended up paying £35 more then I should of. Again this was apparently my fault and she didn’t know how to resolve it. No apologies from the two waitresses that dealt with it.

So tapas is a firm favourite type of food for me. The mixtures of all those delicious foods and flavours I find tantalising!I've known about this restaurant for a long time but for whatever reason I've never eaten there. Last night my wife and I went with another couple.We went in to the bar area which is a different building to the restaurant and we're immediately greeted in a very relaxed friendly manner. We were asked if we would like a drink in the car first or go straight to our table. We went to the table and ordered drinks there. The service was exceptional. Patient friendly waitresses despite it clearly being busy. We ordered a varied mix of different tapas and when we finished we ordered more. Every single dish was mouthwateringly delicious. Piping hot and cooked to perfection. I could not choose a favourite dish as they were all stunning. I was already thinking about my next visit to this place.The atmosphere was very relaxed, quite lively and fun. There is plenty of room and despite being very tall and hating being cornered in there is plenty of space in the room we sat in. I cannot speak highly enough of the tapas dishes and writing this the next morning I feel I would like to visit again very soon. Deserts were also incredible. I had the chocolate cheesecake which was just amazing. I felt so welcome and relaxed in this restaurant and couldn't resist opening the window to the kitchen and telling the staff the dishes were amazing and thanking them. There was a lot of staff working in the kitchen which is great and explains why the service was top notch. This is undoubtedly my new favourite place to eat and me and the wife will be back there soon.

Went here for lunch with friends. They've been several times and really rated it. I can see why! There was such a lovely selection of tapas that it was hard to choose a few. My only issue would be that as we were a table of four, it would have been nice to have four of everything on the plate, rather than three. It was a tussle over some of the dishes as to who had half!! The main waitress we had was a delight. She was informative and funny and had a lovely manner and her suggestion of three dishes per person was spot on.

Could only get a table for 6pm so if you have a specific date in mind phone in advance or use their online booking system for tables less than 8 people. The food is always SO good... manchego cheese and onion relish, both prawn dishes, salad, fish dishes, patatas, omelette, fried aubergine and honey... just delicious!! House white wine is lovely, plus the spanish draft beer. We tried the jugs of white and red sangria too last night for the first time... really good! Fantastic efficient friendly servive... highly recommended!

From start to finish the meal was absolutely amazing, the tapas was delicious and very hard to give a top like as all the food was exceptional. Well done chefs and thank you to the serving staff which was also friendly and attentive.

A true asset to the area. Fantastic food, warm service and great wine. Can't wait to return. Thank you.

We love it at this restaurant. The food is so tasty and to have tapas to share means that we all get to enjoy the quality. No matter which dishes you choose, you can guarantee they will be full of flavour and cooked to perfection. It is almost always busy, which ensures a good atmosphere but means it is best to book ahead.
