Perfect lunchtime visit with a couple of friends. Excellent choice on menu de jour , delicious food , friendly , professional service . Couldn’t fault it , we will be back .

Relaxed atmosphere, excellent service and amazing food. Not cheap and there is a service charge, however the service was impeccable so cannot complain. All staff were very attentive and exceptionally polite. Food was cooked beautifully and tastes as good as it looks. Would definitely go again.

Plat du jour, asked for cod but comes with no veg. Changed to a chicken dish which was pre cooked sliced chicken with picked mushrooms sauce and rice, not very nice.

I really enjoyed our lunch at the Rendezvous yesterday. We had the lunch menu , which was very good value, and well cooked. Gravadlax and salmon rillettes, plus confit of duck. Added green beans which where very good, a lot of places manage to under or over cook veg but not here. Didn’t need a pudding as well fed already. Ambiance at the restaurant was busy and staff very friendly. Ten out of ten!

Food was really very lovely, prices are quite dear but worth it. Everyone’s friendly and had a really enjoyable experience.

For the price it could have been better

The restaurant was quiet when we arrived for lunch, just 5 or 6 tables occupied. We chose a table in the bay window which turned out to be very warm in the sun and asked if we could move. It was clearly an imposition on the blonde waitress that we chose a table against the rear wall that was considerably cooler but a few feet further for her to walk. She took 15 minutes to come and take our order despite my being able to see that she was doing very little… the drinks did not arrive, I watched her slowly , very slowly, clear a table and generally do very little. My husband eventually caught her eye and asked about our drinks. She said that they were ‘being prepared’ - a bottled beer and a glass of water!!!! We left at this point as it was clear that we would be waiting a very long time and frankly it didn’t look to be worth it. Fabulous restaurant, great atmosphere, lovely staff who were helpful but also discreet and fantastic food. The French onion soup was to die for! Definitely recommend this restaurant

An unfriendly and rude manageress. One of our party simply wanted a little ice cream instead of a full dessert after our meal. A seemingly small ask to which the waitress had to go and ask the manageress who came to the table and said it was impossible and would take 15minutes and cost extra. We had a delicious meal and were looked for by a lovely waitress who was clearly embarrassed by the manageress's loud unfriendly behavior. Our evening was spoiled due to this.

Very disappointed today went for my birthday and ordered champagne the works. As a vegan they have alway looked after me before. I ordered a salad to start and as they offer a roast I ordered roast potatoes and vegetables with gravy as a main. When the main came there was no gravy. When I asked for it I was told we are a French restaurant and don’t offer vegan options yet their website specifically offers this. A bit of vegetable stock and a thickener surely is not beyond any self respecting chef, yet I was told they don’t have time to do this on a busy Sunday. Sadly we will not return

I’ve been here twice. My food has only been so-so both times. My friend had a lovely meal of seafood pasta though and she could not recommend it enough. The service and atmosphere is great

Second time here and I must say still perfect. The staff are professional and polite. Nothing to much bother and made to feel welcome. We all had different items from the menu, and each was delicious. Too marks to the chef. Probably the best dinning experience for a long long time. Prices were more than fair for the quality of food and beautiful location. I’ve paid a lot more for really quite inferior meals. Well done all and keep up these fantastic standards. More than happy to pay for service here.

A GEM OF OF FIND. Rendezvous Brasserie in Westerham. We did a walk in on a Monday night, and was met with a cheery team, who were knowledgable and helpful. We chose from the Du Jour menu, 2 courses £19.95 The food was packed with flavour; we started with the soup, followed by the Duck, my other half had the chicken crepe. There is a great wine menu. The atmosphere was friendly and romantic, to us. We will definatly go back. They change around the Du Jour menu. We are looking forward to our return visit.

I took my wife and daughter to Rendezvous for my wife’s birthday. I could not be more pleased. The service food and atmosphere were excellent. The bill a tad under £200 but that included a bottle of bubbles and a half carafe of Cote du Rhône.

Excellent food and a delightful waitress. It was absolutely packed and on a Tuesday afternoon! Initially, the young lady appeared to be the only one serving and clearing, but she was joined by a gentleman who obviously knew the business well. Maybe the owner? Despite being very busy, the service was very efficient and professional. This, combined with a really cheery and friendly approach, has ensured that we will be going back there soon.

We profited from a break from the kids to have lunch at Rendezvous. We chose the 2 course ‘menu du jour’ having salmon and chicken liver for starters and duck and sea bream for the main. They were all fantastic. My only complaint would be that the extras were expensive - £6 for beans?! £3 for olives? Otherwise, service was good and the food was delicious.

Reece was our excellent waiter, read our table well, he was attentive without being intrusive. Food was Excellent. Management really ought to sought the faulty fan out though, was very annoying.

Staying with friends in Tunbridge Wells. Booked for lunch prior to visit to Chartwell. We all had the Menu Rapide. Service was perfect. Just the type of food I love to eat and could happily keep going back to try it all. The meal was so tasty I felt I had died and gone to heaven. They even offered us more of the delicious sauce with the chicken dijonaise. Just so yummy!! Pity I do not live near. I would be there every week.

A bit bland and not great quality for the price

Came here today hoping to have a nice Mother’s Day lunch and was sorely disappointed. Firstly, we arrived and front of house said they would go and grab us a wine menu, they never returned and we were left waiting for a waitress to notice we were even there. When we did get to order we were informed we had to have three courses on the set menu for £36, we asked what if we only want two courses? and she responded that we could have two, but would be charged for three regardless. I was never told prior we’d have the choice of two or three. The whole meal we were left waiting constantly, an hour + for each course and then the service was SO bad they apologised at the end, but then kept service on the bill, when we questioned it the waitress SNATCHED the bill away and rolled her eyes. Ps we paid £50 for a bottle of wine and when we checked online it was £12. Don’t go here :)

Came here last night and enjoyed the meal and ambience as much as 35 years ago! We had the Menu Rapide at £37:50 for 3 courses. Good variety with plenty of options. The staff were all professional and very pleasant. Material napkins which, in my opinion, always make a difference and table set with a rose on each....real ones too!

We ate here on Friday 24 February with some friends. Not having been here before it was a bit of a risk. Immediately on arrival we were pleased to find a lovely ambience and very helpful an welcoming staff. The menus are really interesting and not the usual burgers and fish and chips fare that everyone else serves up now. We found real French food and the Menu Rapide is available with a good range of excellent meals for a slightly cheaper price than the A La Carte. The house wine was also way above average and overall we could not praise this venue enough for providing us all with a really enjoyable experience.

The Rendezvous is a lovely bistro restaurant. Food is fabulous. We love it. They have a quick menu and dish of the day. Breakfast is great too. During lock down they had take away, I'm nit sure if that is still the case. The staff are very welcoming.

We went to Rendezvous on New Years Eve, from start to finish it was an amazing night. As soon as we arrived we were given a glass of champagne then everything else just rolled. The waitress was friendly and attentive. They had a lovely band making the atmosphere relaxing and entertaining.

I visited Rendezvous with friends on a Saturday evening. We all choose from their "Menu Rapide" - an appealing range of French bistro classics. Started with mushroom risotto, expecting rice nutty to the bite with a creamy texture dense with mushroom flavour and parmesan, peppered...

Been twice now, one group of four and one time a group of eight, both times food has been amazing and the service outstanding.

Back to the jolly old Rendezvous for a quick dinner. As always, reasonably priced, well-cooked food, served by lovely staff. My tian of crab was delicious!

Perfect margarita. Perfect sized portions. Great flavour but simple too. Really enjoyed. Great atmosphere with large window and o soft lighting overhead.

The food was fantastic, fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. Service was great too. Visited at a lunch time- late lunch 2pm. We had the Scallops to start, and then various mains between us and we all thoroughly enjoyed them. I don’t remember it being so...

The food was so good that enquired if the chef was French. He is. And you can tell. It is quite a simple menu but all four of us had outstanding meals. The wine and service were excellent too. Recommended.

Awful restaurant totally overpriced with very rude staff … we spent a fortune for a Sunday meal here and the waiter told us to get out before we finish dessert handing us the bill without us asking for it saying they are closed at five though it was only 4:30ish and she started cleaning up around us … my six year old daughter who was desperate for toilet after the trip while the public toilet nearby was occupied were turned down by the staff to use their one so we had to take her to nearby car park. Will NEVER ever come here again

I ordered a prawn cocktail it was just prawns sauce and lettuce- no cucumber-no tomato- no brown bread. I would have said something at the time however I was with company, and I did not want to embarrass them. Definitely not worth the money, I also find portions small for the price. Nothing is cheap and no little extras?

My girlfriend booked us a table here for my birthday. The service was very attentive and it was some of the best food I’ve had - even including central London high £ venues. I asked for the chef to be thanked as every item in each course was A1 perfect. Can’t wait to go back, such a gem in Westerham

Best coffee in Westerham also bacon sandwiches to die for in the sunshine.

Disappointing Bloody Mary (£10) tasted only of tomato juice with little or no seasoning and was overflowing when brought to our table which made a mess. Prawn cocktails were plain and uninteresting. Seafood linguine awful - fish was hard and tasteless, pasta stodgy and ‘sauce’ it all floated in tasted of curry. Our guests ordered calves liver which was good. The final waitress serving us was so slow dressing other tables and not looking our way that we didn’t stay for coffee. We would not complain at the time as we had guests and weren’t prepared to embarrass them. The hefty bill which included 12.5% service was very poor value for money.

It is always buzzing and no wonder. The food is terrific. They do really simple things really well. The service is top notch too.

Although my prawn cocktail had a very different flavour to the sauce than I am used to there were plenty of prawns. I followed with a chicken dish which was full of flavour but the green beans were rock hard and a bit stringy! A nice feeling in the restaurant and obviously quite popular.

Sadly the Menu Rapido hasn't changed in years. You might want to consider changing it. The portions of food appeared to have got smaller. The wine list still remains terrible.

Having checked the Saturday opening times on website which stated restaurant was open from 9.00am until 10.00pm we travelled for about an hour and arrived about 3.15pm only to find restaurant closed until early evening. This was very disappointing and a waste of our time. Please update your website with accurate information, thank you. The restaurant looked very inviting from the outside but , sadly, we never got to experience the food.

The food is fabulous. The service is very courteous. Proper French Brasserie, but since it's in England and not France, expect to pay mid to high end prices. I recommend the Salmon, the Steak and we both had the chocolate fondant with icecream for dessert... exquisite.
