Great food, service and atmosphere. Can't recommend highly enough

Delicious authentic Italian food in a place full of character with vinyl record covers on the ceiling and wonderful attentive and amusing staff. Got a surprise sparkling candle and music in the restaurant when we mentioned it was our anniversary too, a beautiful experience!

Remos is a beautiful little Italian restaurant with fantastic food . I absolutely love the calzone !!!! The staff is welcoming and very friendly and they look well after their customers . It's like going from home to home . Prices have gone up , but dinner at remos is worth every penny!!! Can't find many places where staff is so passionate and accommodating. Love this little restaurant !!!!

Amazing food cooked to perfection and good variety, Ice cold drinks and super lovely attentive staff (especially the lady who was helping us called Olivia) - atmosphere was also lovely busy enough but not crowded.

Booked a table for 3 at 6pm. They tell call at 5.30pm to cancel the booking. We were on the way and told them and they were so rude and said we cannot give you a table so go back!! V

Went there for an office Christmas party. Even though there's little space, everything is well arranged. Had tasty salmon with spinach. Good service by staff. Recommended.

As a member of a local group, I have enjoyed a Christmas meal with over 30 of our ladies. That was last year, and this year. Both were lovely events. Great food, friendly staff and this year was the same price as last year!! Definitely recommend this restaurant.

We celebrated my son's baptism at Remo's on Sunday as a private function and everything was perfect. We had approximately 40 guests which was a perfect number for the size of the restaurant. The staff were very friendly & helpful and Carima was so accommodating from our first meeting. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. We had a set menu but offered our guests a choice of 3 different mains with some slight alterations here and there but nothing was a problem. I would like to thank everyone at Remo's for making my son's special day so perfect.

Incredibly rude staff both on the phone and in person, no "Hello how are you", instead blunt and act annoyed that you even contacted them. Forgot our booking, didn't even offer us a chair or a drink while we had to wait for an older couple to pay and leave so they could sit us down. Half the restaurant was empty but had to stand basically next to the table and it was very awkward. Lots of great classic records and vinyls stuck on the ceiling but they were blasting out awful pop radio music while people ate. We didn't even bother waiting once they started seating bigger groups behind us, as they were so rude. Go to Sensi's down the road instead, quick service and much more pride in how they present themselves. Remo's used to be amazing, very sad to say it's gone downhill massively. Do not come here if you don't like rude staff and bad organisation.

Amazing food! Amazing atmosphere! Amazing Staff! Our waiter was very welcoming and provided a fantastic relaxed dining experience. They even fitted us in despite not having a booking. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants quality Italian dining at fair prices 👍

Cosy Italian restaurant with a great selection of freshly prepared, authentic Italian dishes. Great selection of pasta and pizza, with good amount of veggie options. Have been a few times and it never disappoints on quality and service.

Great food and service as ever. Previous visits it's been pasta, risotto and salads. This time I went for the carne dishes and the lamb shank which was great. Good selection of wines and beers including Moretti Toscana which I've never seen elsewhere. Great place, hugely recommended. Updated 2023: the menu probably needs a refresh now. Also there's some pretty racist figurines above the Aircon unit at the door. Pubs have been shut down because of those ......

Been to Remo’s a few times and the food, staff and service has always been excellent. Our visit last night was above and beyond. We celebrated my husbands birthday with a few friends and Bianca and Mario’s service was 5 star. I was impressed with how we cut the cake, and they sliced it all up for us, placed on the plates and drizzled every cake with chocolate sauce! I’ve never received that kind of service and detail even at a top restaurant. Thank you both for your amazing service and the lemoncillo. We will be visiting again soon x

Our new favourite Italian restaurant. So many Italian restaurants use the word authentic but unfortunately disappoint. Not Remos Village, we were so glad we stopped and chose this place to eat for our special occasion. Food was delicious along with a great house wine. Service by all was very welcoming and friendly which you can see why so my locals visit. It is a small place which means you get good service and not forgotten, but maybe best to book in advance.

This family run restaurant is a little gem.The staff make you feel welcome & cannot do enough for you to make sure you enjoy your visit.

Have been to Remos many times, it always hits the spot! Special mention for the chicken milanese and spaghetti Napoli - so good! Vegetarian options aplenty too. Banoffee pie was excellent also.

Visited on a weekend as a spontaneous date night with my partner. We hadn’t made any reservations, so the staff were kind enough to seat us, ordered garlic bread to share for starters and two pasta dishes for mains and dessert, all irresistible, good quality Italian food for a reasonable price! From the pasta dishes to the chocolate soufflé and tiramisu desserts - absolutely delicious! Thank you for the food!

I absolutely love this restaurant! When I first moved to the area, we came here with my family and were greeted with a warm welcome, amazing food and great drinks list. It has become a firm family favourite since and we have been quite a few times, every time it did not disappoint. If you’re looking for great food and a lovely atmosphere then Remos is worth a visit. The service is amazing.

My partner and I went for dinner bank holiday Monday, the lady that answered the phone was rude, and very sarcastic! There was just no need for it, and after speaking to her we really shouldn’t had bothered. But we didn’t let that deter us and we continued with our plans. As last time we had a great meal! We had the same lady again greet us, once again rude has no customer service skills whatsoever. She shouted at us as we wanted to sit in a specific place. We order all of us dishes together hence it makes more sense for us to have more room. Plus we didn’t want to be near everyone as we wanted a quiet meal. Again totally rude woman. This really put us off and and i didn’t even bother to speak to her. The glass we got the drinks in was dirty. Furthermore, any questions we asked her she had no clue or she would just raise her voice. How can you work there and have no clue about her own menu, I had ordered something previously wanted the same thing again I showed them a picture of their own food and they misinformed me. The bread I received was terrible garlic bread thing. Not what I ordered - It was horrible. The food wasn’t particularly tasty or good on this occasion I had asked for extra spicy, this was somehow an issue. It should be down to me how spicy I want something! I didn’t even want to pay the service charge due to this awful night. Tbh I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Staff were not attentive, we were ignored etc. nobody checked on us otherwise I may have mentioned this at the time. Didn’t even get offered limoncello, considering we spent quite a bit was disappointing. I would avoid this place in the future. It ruined our date night, and after highly praising this place I can honestly say I would not recommend it to anyone ever again!

The food was amazing the service was great the staff was friendly the only thing was when using the loo it was also a storage room so it was tight to use the loo and then later on that evening at home I got food poisoning think it was the prawns for starter because that was the inly dish no one else had everyone else had the same thing for main and pudding so it must have been that

Fabulous place to eat, I always have the seafood spaghetti as am a huge lover of seafood. Always hot, tasty and a good amount of seafood. The staff are such a friendly happy bunch. Great atmosphere, recommend booking a table even during the week as a popular place.

we have been to Remo's a few times and have always enjoyed the food and service. being Italian, I can say food here is pretty authentic, from the pizza to the pasta and meat/fish dishes. 5 stars on food and service, 4 stars for the atmosphere as they would benefit from a larger space.

Tried the veal, perfectly tasty but nothing spectacular. The dessert was ok, I think likely bought in rather than made fresh. They seem very keen to put pepper on your meal and the waitress was perplexed when I didn't want any (allergies)! Lovely little restaurant though, nice ambience and service was fantastic. Absolutely wonderful, family run restaurant with top notch food. Many options for both pasta and pizza - we ordered 2 pastas which were both incredible. Huge portions too. Service was fantastic - waiters were attentive and very personable. I forgot my takeaway in the restaurant but the lady ran out after me to hand it back. A+ for service!

We have been to Remo's village many times. Always good food and the service from the staff is absolutely excellent. Noticed on the reviews a few people recommended the monk fish. Our son, whose birthday it was on the 20th, and I both had the monk fish. Oh my gosh, the flavour! One thing, they serve so much of it. Others in our group said the same, starters, mains and deserts were all excellent. Shame we can't give Sikulo 10 stars.

Only been here twice, both times the food was delicious and so was the service. Thanks for having us!

Table booked for myself and 2 others for 7pm. Was first to arrive approx 6.55. Firstly the staff couldn’t find the booking despite me giving my friends name in whose name it was booked. Then was asked if I would like to wait outside, I asked why and was told table not ready, by now it was about 3 mins to 7. Was asked If I wanted a drink while I waited. Decided to drink it outside while waiting for my friends to arrive. Never been told to wait outside of a restaurant before for that reason, it felt like I was being banished! Not the greatest start to an evening out, very bizarre!

Just amazing, I walked in Remos with a heavy heart and lead in my belly after a really awful few weeks, I only Intended to have a starter then make my excuses to leave the group( they knew it too but were happy I came) but the food and staff were just glorious! So 3 courses later , calamari (i will have the mushroom next time they were also delicious) prawn linguini with chilli and tomato (I'd eat that for breakfast lunch and dinner and i dont even really eat seafood but wasnt thinking straightwhen i ordered ) followed by a chocolate and amaretto dessert, I felt happier than I had in a while, real soul food, fresh, fragrant and service with genuine smiles.
