Red Chillis in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

We’ve been ordering takeaway from this place for a few months now and never once has the food or the service disappointed us. This is our absolute favourite Indian and we will never cheat. 10/10 for the food absolutely unreal!

How this place has a high rating is beyond me. Staff are alright but it's ludicrously overpriced for poor quality food. Had them twice and each time it's looked and tasted like red sludge, and it'll set you back nearly £20 as well, as the rice comes seperate. Bewildering. Maybe their other stuff is better but as of now I can't recommend their chicken tikka masala at all. Avoid entirely.

Ratings for takeaway. The most incredible, flavoursome, tender and moreish curry I've ever had. Specifically, my favourite green Indian curry, palaki murgh. How they get the chicken to be melt in your mouth is beyond me!

Really lovely meal, the staff were so helpful, patiently answering all of my ridiculous dietary questions, no trouble to adapt dishes. Absolutely huge portions and extra poppadoms. And it was delicious.

This is by far the worst take away from an Indian restaurant. It Took me 10 mins to just clean white ceramic plate. I wonder what ingredients are being used. The spicy level in the curry is intolerable. The rice is uncooked. The quality of the chicken was very poor. This restaurant is spoiling the name of Indian culinary.

We drive here once a fortnight from another town as it's an incredible curry. Not long ago we lived in Bristol where we tried plenty of the best rated curry places and this would be right up with the best of them.

Food is always top tier, customer service also. If the designated time is run over by 10 minutes they make sure we as the customers are happy and always make up to us, with poppadoms or naan’s. Either way they are lovely staff great food wouldn’t go anywhere else. 12/10 would recommend

Amazing food and so friendly to accommodate to dietary preferences! They switched out the sugar for honey which I appreciated so much and everyone I met that worked there was super friendly! They also had really yummy veg option.

For us, it has always been amaizing tasty food. I've always thought to myself.. I must leave a review... We have had literally hundreds of take aways and home deliveries over the last 5 years. Everytime is the same; tasty authentic food. Takes some beating... I've had the odd meal here and there but the team at chilli are great and cater to requests... Their chicken dansak is soooo good and they are our "go to" for simply the best tasting great value food. Really very good.. Enjoy.

Ordered delivery for five whilst staying in Cornwall on holiday. Really impressed with customer service when I phoned to check on order. Delivery guy found cottage no problem. Food was outstanding too, my husband said it was the best dhansak he's ever had!!

Worst curry I’ve ever had. Forgot the naan, pakoras coated in bread crumbs like fish fingers, greasy and unpleasant curry.

First time we’d used Red Chilli yesterday evening and was extremely impressed. Food was delivered spot on requested time. Everything was Absolutely delicious, definitely much better than your average Indian takeaway. Really well spiced , fantastically tasty and obviously fresh ingredients. We had a takeaway last night. It was very nasty! Lamb was mostly fat and gristle. Even the dog turned it down! The curries were swimming in oil and very salty. Chicken tikka massala was luminous in colour. Not many decent curry options around here but I would recommend finding somewhere else.

Absolutely fantastic service, food to die for. This place is the one I always prefer. I go to plenty of restaurants but here I constantly return again and again. The stuff is very friendly and the cuisine they serve is so delicious. I am always happy to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Ordered online to collect, we live 2 minutes away; told on website 25 minute to wait, popped down to collect and really disappointed the food was cold. Had to be reheated, tastes lovely, but perhaps telephoning us would have been possible? Have often had food from here before, never cold though.

I love the food here, I wish I could afford to have it more often. The prices are high, but the food is always creamy and delicious. If you like mango, try the Amm Bujon, I have it every time. The Naan are perfectly cooked, moist, and full of filling. The Onion Bhajis are crispy and oily, also delicious! the Special and Chilli special rice are fantastic. We usually order milder dishes (Korma, Tikka Masala, Amm Bujon) so cannot comment on the hotter ones; we fell in love with these dishes and have had no reason to order anything different! The only problem is the expensive prices, but you always get high quality food.

Worth the drive to Penryn for a taste treat.

Pathetic customer service and average food. I was told I can only have one tandoori roti per order!!! Who does that! Plus they ran out of vegetables! Unheard off. Delivery was 1.5 hrs on a Tuesday! And the delivery man acted as if he was doing a favor. Called multiple times and was was rude as hell. Do youself a favor and go to a better place. If you still decide to go here may god bless you

Lovely food, quick delivery and always hot. Try the Palaki Murgh, it's the best curry I have ever tasted and am addicted. Lol It is easy to order online and pay with PayPal. They have an extensive menu, catering for all tastes. The delivery guys are great too. My favourite take - away within 10 miles, easily.

Every thing was delicious but the lamb was like bullets! Everything else was great! Great flavour seasoning, just the lamb had the texture of the side of a volcano!

Terrible customer service, break down in communication resulted in accusations of racism. Food sweat "A lot" in containers, resulting in excess water on top of the currys. When bought to the owners attention was confronted by racist delivery driver.

I’ve had two fantastic curries from here. Masalas, Badami chicken and the peshwari naan are especially good! Would highly recommend!

The food is always great, lovely spices and heat, if you want it. Never ashamed to share a take away from here with friends from upcountry, it usually beats their favourite local. Also really friendly and helpful service, it's definitely our favourite Indian.

Rang to order takeaway....told to ring back, even though we rang within opening times....rang back to order and then told we will ring you back to take payment!!?? After 20 mins we rang to cancel order..Red Chillis then rang us back and had a go at us for cancelling!!! Shame really as the food is ok but after this service...no thank you.

I really rate this Indian take away. I grow up in Bradford so have a fairly good knowledge of what is good and bad and Chillis always delivers on taste, quality and good portion size. Reasonable price with a good range for the whole family makes this our guilty treat every couple of weeks. Certainly the best Indian in the Falmouth/Penryn area

This is take away service not a restaurant. Staff are friendly and happy to explain the menu and dishes offered. We have been using them approx once a month and the service food and quality are always consistent. Happy to recommend.

Chilli are always helpful about the menu and what is and isn't in the dishes. Really good food for a great price. Always open too.

Our favourite takeaway. Have been here for many years and food mostly has been very good. Sometimes food not so good especially if the boss is away! Once or twice part of order missing. Quick phone call always sorts, just annoying.

We order regularly. It's just our fave take away. Food cooked to order and recommendations given by the staff. Our children also eat from here and every dish can be tailored to suit individual taste. Staff are amazing and friendly with lots of expertise.

Ordered chicken tikka massala, chicken tikki dry plain nan poppadums, mushroom bahji, onion bahji, plain and pilaw rice. Rice and onion bahji okay, mushroom bahji okay but chickin tikka massala was expensive and contained only 6 small pieces of chicken sauce was the bright red style heavy on coconut. Chicken tikka dry was rubbery and was obviously defrosted frozen. Poor quality and value would not recommend or go there again.

This takeaway produces great food and large portions. The menu is varied and is our favourite local takeaway.

Found this on trip advisor, quality of the takeaway was very good. Speedy friendly service. Close to the village of Flushing where we were staying, would recommend to those who are in self catering cottages and want a change from eating out.
