I visited Raunka punjab diyan today with my family. We had a wonderful experience with an beautiful song selection which elevated the atmosphere. The food came out freshly made, satisfying our taste buds. I would like to thank especially Preet and Ritika for the spectacular hospitality. I would definitely recommend 👌.

Very average vegetarian food. Makki roti was very soft and slightly undercooked. sarson saag was average. Paneer Tikka Masala did not taste good and daal makhni was average. Kulchas were not authentic Punjabi. We went with high hopes based on reviews but we're very disappointed

Had a great experience at RPD - Preeta was especially attentive and looked after us very warmly! The senses were transported back to the authentic roadside dhabas of North India!

Second visit this month, in a large birthday party, and the standard of the food and service was as good as before.

Comunque Southall merita visto, soprattutto di venerdí e sabato tra negozi e abitanti locali sembra di essere in India, merita anche una visita il tempio Sri Guru Singh Sabha, enorme. Il ristorante è semplice ma curato e pulito, e la cucina è eccellente. Ci sono andato con un amico indiano originario del Punjab che abita a Londra, e anche lui ha detto che é uno dei migliori ristoranti indiani dove sia mai stato. Non servono alcoolici ma credo che ce li si possa portare da fuori. Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo, speso meno di metà dei ristoranti indiani del centro e mangiato meglio. 104 pounds in quattro mangiando di tutto.

Oh, it was a symphony of flavors, each bite bursting with the perfect balance of spices. The richness of the gravy and the texture of the Pakoray (vegetable fritters) made this dish a delightful experience. It was the kind of dish that made me want to savor every single bite. The vegetables were fresh and crispy, coated in a flavorful batter and deep-fried to golden perfection. The accompanying chutneys added an extra layer of taste, especially the tangy tamarind chutney that perfectly complemented the spicy pakoray. Now, onto the naan and paratha. She ensured that our glasses were never empty and that we were well taken care of throughout the meal. I also had the pleasure of meeting Rajan, the owner of this culinary gem. His passion for Punjabi cuisine was evident in every dish served. He took the time to greet each table personally, ensuring that every guest felt welcome and satisfied. He even shared stories about the origins of some of the recipes, adding a personal touch to the dining experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with traditional Punjabi music playing softly in the background. Food’s mouth-watering, atmosphere was as resturant says balle balle balle, Service is too good as well. I came with my family for the dinner and was attended by Preet Kaur. She sereved us with the best of her experience and we got the exact taste as we expected and explained. I wish her the beat in life. The Owner of the resturant is also a big hearted and friendly.

We had the Dal Makhani, Lamb Biryani, Mustard leaves saag, Garlic Chilli naan and roti, Onion kulcha bread, mango lassi, masala tea and gulab jamun. I can honestly say every dish was tasty and delicious. Absolutely would return again! Preeta did a great job helping us

Despite living in the area for years, I'd barely noticed this gem of a restaurant situated on Lady Margaret Road in Southall. I've missed out! The food is good and has more than just the usual "Indian" (or Anglo-indian) options. The vegetarian opinions were plentiful as starters and mains. What makes it different (apart from the painted walls showing Punjabi village life) is the all-women staff....from manager Preet to all the kitchen staff. Not only that, but they won't serve all-male groups of more than 4 so no chance of meeting your local rugby club on a night out - it's BYOB anyway. Prices are reasonable, service is attentive and efficient and the whole atmosphere is relaxed and friendly.

The food was beautiful and Preet the manageress was very kind and attentive. The establishment is run by an all female staff and they only allow a maximum of four males in a group. The tandoori chef came out to greet us which was a treat!

Such a proper and homemade food we had today after long time. And we felt like we sitting back home in my village.must try there dal makhni ,sag ,malai kofta , and paneer kulcha. Booked a private new party Hall for my daughter's birthday , my each end every friend liked the food and service. And service was excellent they look after each and every guest. A big shout to Preet for her amazing and professional service. The food was great and we tried a variety of dishes. Atmosphere wise, it was nice, but quiet as we went mid-week.

We found the food most delicious, friendly service and delightful ambiance…the restaurant owner / chef comes across as extremely welcoming and warm natured. The waiting staff is also well trained and makes you feel welcomed. However, our only concern was the compulsory 12.5% service charge which is imposed on all customers regardless of the party size. Although, upon raising our concern, it was removed from our bill, but we were reminded that it was a special one-off gesture and the charge would always apply in the future. Unfortunately, this would prevent us from visiting again in the future as I find the food prices high enough already, hence I strongly feel that the compulsory service charge is unfair and unnecessary. Recommendation to the owner: removing the service charge may bring you a lot more customers in the future, hence increasing your overall profitability.

Best butter chicken amazing service

Visiting London and Raunka Punjab was on our list again. we Went to this gorgeous restaurant in a birthday party. After few yrs we all had a fabulous and delightful meal, The atmosphere was amazing and the food was out of this world. saag and dal makhani was the best I ever had and tasteful to the core. Parking was free and the New restaurant is decorated beautiful. service was polite with a smile the whole experience was simply the delightful. The host was a gem. Thankyou and highly recommended.

Oh my god it was one of the best experience one can have. we were nine people in total it started off by free parking outside the restaurant a big welcome smile and a wonderful host was there to welcome us.we had ordered nine different dishes and each one of them were bursting with flavors in our mouth. I can honestly say this was the best meal in England I have had in a long time along with the food a attentive and polite service was given by Kiran and Manu. We had a gala time with food service music and dance. This restaurant will be our favorite from now onward 100% highly recommended. Do try the dal makhani and saag with garlic chili naan.

Went due to good reviews. The staff was very friendly and helpful Unfortunately food standard was poor. Tandoori chicken had a wet masala on it.Made one wonder if they had a tandoor or prepared it in the oven / Wok. The aubergine achari was floating in oil. The rotis were wafer thin. Disappointed to say the least

This was my first time at the restaurant and I was blown away with the service and hospitality. The food was very good and the chef personally came and met us and greeted us. I was very impressed with the food and Gurgeet and Manpreet were very welcoming and they really delivered so glad I went and will definitely be going again soon

Amazing place and great service. Prita was great at helping us out with the menu and did an amazing job at serving us! The chef (owner’s wife) was also amazing! She ensured that we were given the best service and kept checking in on us! We had such a great experience. We will definitely recommend this place and we will visit again too!

We came as a family for the first time the waitress Manu greeted us with such hospitality. We we then shocked to meet the chef who came out and greeted us saying we will make sure the food is spectacular. I can only say that we all felt no disappointment. The food and ambience was amazing. It was really worth it and we will definitely be coming back again and organising our future special occasions here. The saag was a real standout and the mukhani dhal was out of this world. We felt like we were eating in India was so special.

We visited raunka today. Food was delicious and service was great. Prita was taking our order, she was very polite. Gajar halwa is a must try. Overall, food was very good. We felt the place was pricey given the portion size was so small(almost central London prices) and you can get similar tasting stuff in many other places in south hall with much much better ambience. Also felt the owner was very pushy and was repeatedly asking us to write the review which directly hindered our experience.

Unassuming location but really good food. Had the malai kofta, dal makhani and makki roti. Dal makhani was the best and tasted very authentic. Chai was average. Hara bara kabab was a little bland. But glad we came here- got to eat good Punjabi food.
