Great restaurant, amazing food and fantastic service. Have been coming for t years and plan to for many more! The best around by miles!

One again this incredible Restaurant has surpassed itself. Food is always piping hot, flavoursome and freshly prepared. The Sunday Fixed Price Menu is excellent value for money. But what really sets this Restaurant way above others is the level of service we have always received - Always so polite and nothing is too much trouble. Well done Rashoi 👏👏

Been here for the 2nd time now in a year and just find the dishes really mediocre and slightly under portion size. I used to love coming here when I was younger but feel it's time to start going somewhere else.

My elderly Indian dad wanted an Indian takeaway to be delivered to his care home in Bagshot to celebrate his grandsons recent wedding for which he was too frail to attend and Ali went above and beyond to arrange this. The food was hot tasty and authentic and Dad is really looking forward to going to Rashoi restaurant when he is feeling better.

Excellent as always!! And especially good value on a Sunday!! Mr Ali and his team look after everybody and one of my favourite restaurants in the area!!

Never disappointed. The staff are always welcoming. The food is always fresh, hot and very tasty. Never had a negative visit. We love it.

We've been eating here on a good number of occasions over the past 15 years. Not once have they ever failed to make our evening pleasant. The food is always so fresh and perfectly prepared. Full of flavours and just the right amount of heat. Salads served with the starters are always crisp and fresh. Service is always 100% - On each and every occasion we've visited the waiting staff gave been excellent. You really do feel valued as a customer - sadly something that is largely lacking. First time customer and almost certainly our last. The food was universally bland (sides, mains and naans); the sauces were insipid -- with some of them watery -- and lacked any freshness, spice or aroma. The king prawns, which we hoped might be the star of the show, turned out to the worst dish of all, bearing the resemblance of grey bits of rubber dunked in an unappealing brown soup. Thankfully this was not the dish I ordered, however I made my sympathies known. Neither of us like wasting food but this was one occasion on which we were only too glad to see the back of it. Very frustrating as a good curry really shouldn't be difficult to get right.

We popped in here after being too lazy to cook and I am SO glad that we did. The service was so attentive and the food was probably the best curry have ever had - and I used to live on Brick Lane in London! Not oily at all and the quality of the meat was amazing. Extremely well priced for the quantity of food and the area. We will be back!

Great curry house with a lovely friendly atmosphere. If it’s not on the menu they will make it for you. Want a madras hot Korma just ask. Fantastic value £10.95 menu on a Sunday evening for a starter, main, side and rice/Naan. Brilliant 🤩

Excellent service. Beautiful food - the best chicken tikka ever. The dips with the poppadoms were really lovely. Portions perfect. Didn’t have room for the sweet but the two men our party had the Indian mango ice cream which they said was very good.

Travelling home, picked this up from Google. Staff super helpful and friendly. All the food was first class. My lamb vindaloo was melt in the mouth and the stuffed paratha was beautiful, light and tasty without being greasy. All of the family enjoyed the meal enormously.

Staff were so helpful when placing my order. Food was tasty and plenty of. Nice to get dishes where the main ingredient is the meat, rather than the sauce. Due to pandemic it is nice to see standards and quality have been kept up.

Rashoi gone down hill. I used to order a lot from this place years ago but the Bahji portion I got was small and tasted like it had been made in old oil. It’s always worrying when your food is ready under 10 minutes. You wonder what pour over sauce they use and the meals just aren’t cooked to order. Shame as there were only 2 people in the restaurant. Will travel a bit further to try somewhere else next time

We went as a party of six. Restaurant is small and bright. Menu has wide range of the usual range options. Service and food presentation very good and reasonably priced. My main, a lightly spiced dish, was delicious.

We’ve just had a takeaway from Rashoi tonight and it was lovely! The staff were really friendly when I picked it up. The food was fresh, it was cooked really well and tasted delicious!

I have not been to this restaurant for a few years, and it used to be very good, unfortunately this is not the case anymore.We were a reasonable size group, celebrating a birthday, and looking for somewhere local, upon arrival the restaurant seemed empty, and the decor, tired, which was not a good start, the staff were friendly, but they seem to struggle with the drinks order, also when it came to clearing plates away, they were quite slow, and yet they had hardly any other customers.Personally my food was quite tasty, but was only warm, but others in the group, said there choice of dish was bland, and the meat was rubbery.Unfortunately we will not be rushing back.

We went to the Rashoi for a family birthday as a party of 9, the restaurant wasn’t busy and we were the last to leave at 9.30, is that a good sign ?They didn’t seem to be able to cope with the drinks, they came out wrong, we ordered 18 pappadums and they only brought out 10.The starters bland and chicken was rubbery on the chicken tikka. The mains cold although good flavours. There was no music playing in the background at times and there was no vibe what so ever.Very disappointed, there is plenty of amazing Indian restaurants in the area and I won’t be returning to this one

Food was good, service good. It looks scruffy at the side and back of the building - needs external decoration to attract more customers - otherwise the score would have been higher.

One vegetarian and three carnivores went for dinner on a Friday night to sample the available menu. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared.

A good meal. There is a wide choice of main dishes and having tried a variety of them they are all of a good standard. Service is always good with a pleasant atmosphere throughout.

I have been using this Indian restaurant for almost 2 years.The food is always good.Not the best I’ve had but certainly good enough.The Sunday meal deal is great for £12 you get a starter, main, side and rice or naan.Never have any problems or issues.The lamb bhuna is my favourite dish and I’ve never been disappointed!

A busy restaurant in a small area. Went on Saturday Night as my partner and I really enjoy a good Indian. I always like trying the chef specials, however I love a bit of spice, so they were able to cater for what I wanted and added spice. Good food very tasty and managed to eat everything so good portion sizes. We will continue to return, this probably is our 4th time, so thought I'll finally review it!

We've been eating here ever since it opened about 20 years ago in our village. The food is of a high standard and the Sunday night special night is amazing value. Very friendly service and a warm welcome.

I have been going to the Rashoi for years and it as always been good but for the last couple of years its been very good. It has always been very friendly service, welcoming, attentive and all at a reasonable price. What better than to have a great Indian restaurant on your door step.

Lovely welcome when we walked in from staff and service continued to be excellent despite being very busy. Food did not disappoint and flavours were amazing. A most enjoyable meal in a warm friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend.

It’s always a blessing to be able to walk to the local Indian in the own village (Windlesham, Surrey£. Then when you add great food, great service, a lovely ambiance & great value you have everything for a great evening out.

Having wanted to try this restaurant for many years and the occasion arose recently. I was NOT disappointed. Great flavours and value. Service attentive and not intrusive.

Due to working abroad we haven't eaten at this establishment for some six years. Its fabulous to see that it's still managed by the people. Decor is nice, tables are laid with good quality clean white table cloths.

The service is very good. The staff and friendly and accommodating. Every dish I have had here, and I have been coming for several years, has been fresh, tasty and delicious. We often order out and the food is always hot and flavourful. Highly recommended.

Great takeaway, food was really tasty. Chicken tikka masala was just how it should be, mushroom rice, onion bhaji and nam really good to. Will defiantly be coming back for more. Thoroughly recommended

This is our local Indian restaurant and we do like coming here for a wonderful meal.

Has been great in past,but last two visits been disappointed, one being a take away ordered for three people and only really had enough for one, four pieces of chicken in chicken tikka masala the other two dishes very small portions.Eat in second time and have to say it was tasteless two different dishes and couldn't taste either, It has always been one of my favourite Indians so need to give my reveiw so they hopefully get back to how was.

I recently visited Rashoi in Windlesham, and in summary, was bitterly disappointed with the experience.

Last night we held a charity event,in aid of Cats Protection,at the Rashoi.

Their Sunday sett menu is pretty amazing and reasonable. Have visited this place and got take away several times. Freindly staff and located in a very nice little village.

The food was fantastic, and credit is due for the restaurant for helping young people by hosting their event. However, by holding one table back for general public (which they then got confused about and gave to us anyway) They were very confused and kept forgetting we were included in the set menu and pre-paid!

Friendly service and fine food makes every visit memorable. Just wish the standard curry house beers were changed. We are lucky to have such a reliable restaurant in the village.

Recuerdo los días cuando se podía tomar sus botellas de limonada y coger unos cuantos centavos, pero que era bastante hace un tiempo, cuando era una verdulerías. Ahora tiene el ambiente de un lugar en el que pueden ser atendidos por el personal educado y disfrutar de algo de comida decente. De nuevo el error de tener un plato entrante y cuando comer solos, lado el pollo cilantro y chana estaban bien me a pedir demasiado. Yo sólo tenía la chana porque el pescado que pedimos estaba descrito como seco en la reflexión podría haber sido un pescado seco con verduras en la parte superior. Otro día en circunstancias diferentes y con la empresa justo sería bueno para probar algunas de las especialidades de pescado - quizás un menos seco.

Utilizamos el servicio de restaurante para llevar el 26 de mayo. Nos canguro nietos así que por desgracia no podía comer en el restaurante. El restaurante era bueno y volveremos en el futuro. La comida era excelente fui muy estándar con un pollo de Madrás, ya que no había estado allí antes que los demás y tenía baltis biryanis. Todos disfrutamos de la comida es de buena calidad. Sin duda volveré de nuevo.

Un salto en un descarado entre semana curry.

Fuimos allí la última noche una comida de cumpleaños con otros nueve. El propietario, los camareros y camareras eran totalmente fantástico para nuestras mesas necesidades aunque estaban ocupados. La comida era increíble, tanto que todos de nuestros asientos costó como completo.

Vamos a la Rashoi varias veces en un año, ya que puedes ir andando. El servicio es agradable y la comida está bien, pero a menudo es un poco tranquila, así que sentirse solo cuando comemos.

Este restaurante fue recomendado por un colega que vive cerca. Una excelente opción como nuestro grupo era bastante grande, por suerte esto era una noche tranquila en el restaurante y nos dieron su completa atención. Nuestros platos (probado varios diferentes, todos sabrosos y deliciosos) fueron escogidos por nuestros amigos de la India. El servicio era muy amable. Sin duda volveremos.

Four of us visited on a bleak January evening and although the restaurant was very quiet, we all enjoyed an absolutely delicious meal.Excellent choice of dishes with side accompaniments and served quickly and efficiently.The food itself was so tasty that very little was left over and the service was very friendly - our waiter was delightful.We've been here several times over the years and it's nice to be welcomed and to feel welcome. We'll certainly be more frequent visitors - a really enjoyable evening out and very good value for money..

As the title says I cannot fault this place for their service or quality of food. The prices are very reasonable too. Waiters and chefs will go the extra mile to accommodate. Fully recommend.

A group of 16 of us visited last Thursday first impressions the restaurant looked good!Very attentive staff, plenty of food which was extremely good. Didn't hurry you to finish but it was a quiet for a Thursday night. Overall would recommend as very good night. Thank you to the staff.

Went to visit yesterday on a Sat eve as live locally and had always seen a good amount of people in the eves dining there. We had been on the look out for a good Indian Restaurant for some time and decided to give this one a go. Considering we had not booked we were accommodated immediately, and soon the restaurant filled to full capacity.Great food and choices. Lots for veggies:)) Loved the veggie thali. Very reasonably priced and genuine friendly staff and not rushed at all. The coffee at the end of the meal was a lovely touch and will be back with others soon to show how great it was. Lovely night.

The Rashoi is a charming local curry house that I can't recommend highly enough. The boss man, Mr. Ali, and his team, are extremely welcoming and have an unparalleled knowledge of their extensive menu. If you aren't sure what to order, they are only too happy to recommend dishes based on your taste. If you prefer it spicy they will happily create something hotter than a vindaloo. My personal favorite is the tandoori mixed grill, served with fresh salad and naan (probably enough on it's own) however couple with a sag aloo and you're on to a winner. This is also the only curry house I have been to that does cobra on tap, which in my eyes is a superb addition as you have an option of draught or bottled. It's small touches like this that in my eyes sets this place apart. You never feel rushed during your meal, no matter how busy the restaurant get's which is a testament to the water tight service that Mr. Ali has installed in his team. If you're ever in the area and you want a sit in meal or take away curry, go to this place, it's spot on.

Been here a few times and food consistently good and servings plentiful. Note however that they close at 2.30pm for Sunday lunch and that unless you ask for their Sunday lunch deal you'll get charged their standard prices. Apparently the Sun lunch deal is for smaller portions.

Food good, service good, a very good traditional Indian not trying to be anything else with all the normal indian dishes and cooked very well. Can't fault it.

I love this place. Nothing special, just good Indian food with super friendly service. If it's not on the menu they'll do it for you. If you want it hotter or milder just ask. The Sunday Buffet is fantastic value. Nothing is ever too much trouble. You've gotta try it!

We went to the Rashoi for the first time tonight and it will not be the last.! Ali and his staff are absolutely charming and the restaurant has a welcoming ambience.The food was excellent and extremely good value.

We visited Rashoi following a disappointing visit to Princess Cottage in Bagshot. Again, a family of four at around 8pm on a Friday night. Service could not have been better. We were seated after a short wait, but this was because the staff were dressing a table further away from an all male party, as they wanted us not to be overly disturbed. Service was good, food and drinks orders were taken quickly, and the food was brought out quickly too.Only fly in the ointment was the delay to one of our meals. It came out about 5 minutes after the rest. I'm not sure of the reason for this, not reason was offered, but there was an apology.Food quality was great. Even though it was a Friday, we were happy with the service.All in all, well worth a visit. We'll be back soon.

Visited here on Saturday night with a big group of friends. The restaurant wasnt particularly busy so we were easily accommodated. The service was polite and welcoming, and our food was delivered in a timely manner even though there was a number of us. There are a number of car parking spaces out the back of the restaurant and on the adjoining side road so parking is not an issue. There are also a couple of local pubs literally a 2-5 minute walk away should you want a drink beforehand (The Sun and The Surrey Cricketers). I really enjoyed the meal that I ordered - the Chicken Tikka Masala, Keema Rice, Sag Paneer were very good indeed and the Onion Bhahjis were nicely crisp. One of my friends had a king prawn Madras which was also excellent. The restaurant itself is fairly spartan but pleasant enough, the prices are probably slightly cheaper than the other local curry houses. All in all a very good meal, will probably come here again over other local curry houses ive tried recently.

A modest Sunday evening meal with friends. The restaurant is on a very busy road (even on Sundays) so, if possible, park nearby on the field of Remembrance.It was our first visit. We did not feel especially welcomed but overall the service was fine - they were not busy. We were perhaps unlucky that nearly all the other diners seemed to be families with small (very noisy and not well controlled) children. The food tasted OK but some portions were strangely skimped - my wife's Chicken Shashlik seemed to have hardly any roasted vegetables, which she usually adores.The whole experience did not compared well with the other Indian restaurants that we use frequently in Virginia Water and Frimley - sorry! Perhaps it is just not a good option for couples on a Sunday evening.

This restaurant serves amazing Asian food and the service is exceptional. It never fails to deliver even from the take-away menu. It's 5 star all round and will be visiting again and again. The restaurant needs a little modernizing but this is only a minor cosmetic detail.

Having just moved from North London and wrenched from our beloved Bangladeshi of 30 years (Day of The Raj in Mill Hill) I plumped for the Rashoi on the basis of the relatively few but consistently positive reviews. We're closer to more celebrated Indian restaurants in both Bracknell and Bagshot and it was tempting to try the famous/infamous and inconsistent Mogul but I gambled that somewhere less mainstream with a local clientele may be more likely to deliver. As a full time carer a quick 2 hour meal out with my wife is gold dust. The Rashoi delivered in spades - friendly, helpful and wonderful food. The Manager personally helped my wife through the menu and her rather 'off piste' requests with great patience and 'can do'. The waiters were friendly and attentive. The room was spacious but cosy with a relaxed atmosphere and not too busy even on on a Friday night as it was clearly occupied by locals only. My Madras (always a good test) was one of the best I have ever had as was my wife's Tikka Danshak with light Madras sauce. They even have duck curries on the menu. Most astonishingly the manager even asked at what pace we would like to be served. I have never heard this before in a restaurant. You're usually either hurried or abandoned. We wanted to make the most of our 2 hours so this was the perfect question. Beer and coffee all perfect and we received as warm a farewell as the greeting. First time lucky or good thinking - the Rashoi will now be our new regular.

First visited this restaurant some 14 years ago. Moved away and went back this week and it's still the same. Great service, great menu choice but the important bit is the food ! You simply cannot fault it. Takeaway option available. Never disappointed and will return for sure next time we are in the area

Stopped by late one night as we have family nearby.Excellent choice of Menu, Service with a smile and the price was OK as well. Who needs more.Will definitely be back here again.

My partner and I have eaten here many times, we are villagers and often use there Sunday night buffet to finish the weekend. The food is very good to fabulous at times, we have never been disappointed here over 10 plus years .. if your measurement of how good a place is by the number of times customers return .. we are the proof.Service is friendly and discrete .. the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the "facilities" are superb. Given everything, really good value, especially Sunday nights.

Very tasty Indian food on offer at this restaurant in Windlesham village. We've visited many times over the 25 years or so that it's been open, the most recent being last night which shows to me that it hasn't lost it's way. Dishes on offer will suit all palates from the subtle-flavoured to the good and spicy; for those more adventurous like me try a lamb madras with Bombay aloo and a garlic naan and wash down with a pint of refreshing Kingfisher beer. A pleasant evening indeed.

We often use this restaurant for take away food and occasionally eat in, the food is always good. A good choice of dishes at a reasonable price. The waiters are helpful and the atmosphere is lovely. Never over busy or noisy. Off street parking is a real bonus.

Very nice scenery and very accommodating staff. The food does come out in lots of small portions so there is a lot of sharing which I quite liked because you can taste other peoples dishes which I think is important rather than just having the same meal over and over again!
