Ramsey's Grill in Windsor and Maidenhead

This place used to be good now with every time it’s going worse ! Cold food , wrong ordes, really bad ….

Was in the mood for some middle eastern food on our last night in England and picked this spot not far from our hotel. Unfortunately a pretty mediocre Doner Kebab. Also only taking cash and no credit card which was annoying.

Kids nugget meal with chips ordered and this is what we got! No chips and nuggets (if you can call them that) pink inside! Non edible. Can’t call to complain as number cuts out!

While visiting Windsor, we were looking for some takeaway food to eat back on our boat. We found Ramsey’s Grill online. A small walkup kebab shop (no seating) with very flavorful and hot food. Service was very good and produce was fresh. We ordered the Doner Kebab, Chicken Shish (chicken was cooked on the grill) and Mixed Meat & Chips. Small order was plenty of food for us. Recommend to folks that want something to eat on the go. Delicious! I would go back for sure.

Staff never listened to the order. I asked for it to be redone, ended up with meger portions. Disgusting!

I love the kebab wraps in a Lebanese flatbread. I cant comment on their delivery service as ive never used it. The kebabs are great albeit I usually end up wearing some of it down my shirt !

Eating many times a kebab from here it never disappoints. Meat is full of flavour juicy tasty. I think one of the best kebabs I've ever tried

I've been visiting Ramsey's since 2003. the food is incredible. Highly recommended.

Pretty much a waste of time no communication from the restaurant food arrived half hour late cold and very very greasy disappointing

the food arrived & this is the second time i recived the wrong order 2 weeks ago i accepted what arrived & told the restaurant, last night he got it wrong again even thought i had put a note on the app asking him to check the order, when i rang him it was very difficult to communicate with the man as his english was not good nor did he seem to understand what i was telling him in the end he insisted on sending out the wrong portion again even though i asked him not too. as it went straight into the bin as by the time it arrived i had already eaten what he had sent me i am not sure whether he cannot read the app or just decides to send what he wants & as we do not seem to be able to communicate i want to know how to close my account & delete the app i do not know what else i can do if the wrong food turns up again & again.

Only one driver who was busy 20mins late on top of waiting an hour from ordering the food . Not the sort of service I expect or want ever again

Disgraceful service. No food delivered.

These guys offer a high quality low cost doner kebab. The sauces are large size and taste large. The chef's not messing about with these sauces. Chilli and garlic sauce how they are supposed to be. I will be back

The chilli sauce had exploded in the bag - if the chips I got were a large I would hate to see the small!! - the chips were undercooked and the wrap was sweet - will never order from here again!

Fast delivery and burger and fries still hot

First time we had to wait 1hr 30 mins + for food. Most of the food was cold on delivery.

Been eating from Ramsey’s Grill for over 12 years, never had an issue. Always have the same, a Halloumi wrap. Last night it was very different, not good at all, very greasy. I was unable to eat it. I think they may have changed suppliers. Real shame.

Food was amazing, driver called to let me know he was here and delivered before the given window which was warmly welcomed

brother showed me this place a couple years back and it looks really dodgy and bad but the good is actually really good and you get a lot of it for your money. Arrived early and food was hot and fresh

Food was left in a hotel reception with no contact with us or a phone call.When we called the restaurant after an hour of placing an order they said they left it in the reception.When we picked it up it was cold-it was there for over half an hour.On top of that husband and kids waited 20 min outside for the driver (they must have just missed him).We wouldnt order again due to no comunication.

This is the second time my delivery was late from the same shop, I'd want compensation next time it happens.

Tasty, delivery on time, good size portion ( light on the salad tho ). Overall, will definitely order again.

Fantastic food. Really enjoyed the burger.

The guy who delivered the food knock on the door and said “how can I help, how can I help” it was really weird and unnecessary. Made us feel a bit uncomfortable I know this might of just been a joke but this might make others feel uncomfortable too. Just thought I would mention it

Driver got lost AGAIN.. Food was below par and no flavour.. Nuggets were dry and horrible VERY POOR

Probably the worst donner I had. Please bring back the lamb Shwarma as it was one of the best I’ve had.

The Shish Lamb was the best I had ever tasted. Juicy and succulent. Soooooo tasty. Others I've tried are either too dry or just tasteless. This was quality at it's best. Will definitely order again.

Fast delivery but the food quality has declined.. no more lamb shawarma which used to be amazing. Chicken shawarma was super bland, lamb doner just about had enough flavour with some extra chilli sauce. Chips were perfect though

I wish there had been more lamb meat as wasn't very much but all tasted great definitely recommend

That's the fastest delivery time from Ramsey's yet! Good one! And the large shawarma is back to its normal large size. I used to order a lot from Ramsey's and I ordered the large shawarma plenty of times and there came a time when the shawarmas I was receiving were quite small compared to what I used to get. I used to be able to consume the large shawarma in 2 meals but then it got smaller that I was able to finish it in one. So when I received the shawarma from this last order and saw that it was the large shawarma that I know from Ramsey's, that really made me happy!

Food was cold. Chicken was burnt. I would like a refund please.

Very tasty kebab, unfortunately they forgot to add sauce but overall good choice. Delivered earlier than expected.

Such a shame. Food was late but our house is not easy to find so could forgive that but the food was not very good. Chicken wraps just seemed to be reheated roast chicken. The best thing was the baklava.

The lamb sheesa taste like cardboard and the chicken one taste the same at its cold and I'm pregnant and that food not piping hot not very happy at all

Bit bland, no salt is used on food. Lamb donner was very soft and didn’t like it. Lamb shish was not nice. Chips were nice.

Donner meat was really dry as if had been sat there for ages the chips were dry and the lamb shish was just a load of gristle and fat

We ordered 2 mixed kebabs and chips food arrived no sauces on the kebabs at all after we asked for chilli sauce and mayo.the kebab was all dried out and the lamb was rock hard well over cooked only fit for the bin DISGUSTING!!

Food wasn’t good. Chips like jelly and so oily,mozzarella sticks basically just bread and nothing inside 😞 And meat was horrible. Never again,sorry.

Awesome mixed Donna, chips were surprisingly good and still had some crunch. Best ‘bab in Windsor hands down.

Amazing foods especially kebabs & desserts

It was my first time ordering from them and I believe that the Donnar kebab was not freshly cooked , the donnar kebab was hard and didn’t taste that nice, the cake was amazing the samosas were not too bad the best part of all of this was the tango drink I ordered with it.

If you order a kebab it will come in a wrap. No matter that they have a separate menu for wraps and kebab isn’t one of them. Cheap way to charge you more for less product. Well done.

I thought I would try this place after seeing the reviews and my family and I say a big thumbs up yes it was the best kebabs/ burgers we ever had ,so we will be definitely ordering again in the near future. Thank you Ramseys Grill!

To much sauce in the burger made the burger bun very soggy.

I use to order the same thing all the time and it was so nice . But today the food was nasty , no salt no sauce , cold and very bland . Couldn’t even eat it . Waste of time and money.

Food would have been alright had it arrived on time but sadly food ordered at 7 ETA 8 didn’t arrive until 9 by which time it was fairly cold and less then appetising. Shame as have ordered from here before and was very good but not on this occasion.

Ordered my food at 18:10 and was told my food will be there by 19:25, so already a long wait, wasnt till 19:45 when i was notified of my order being delayed, then arrived at 20:10. Not good enough

Could have been a little more generous with the garlic sauce and a little softer with the lamb but other than that, our meal was delicious!

The food was not a decent portion from what I ordered

Sadly the chips were soggy as they sweated in the polystyrene packaging and there was not very much meat in the kebabs... Quite disappointing as previously we have had good portions.
