Raj Balti in Flintshire

Always 10/10 professional service from all staff at the Raj and the food is absolutely amazing. Thank you very much

Not what it used to be. Went with daughter and 3 children had 2 meals children 2 of them had a shared rice nan bread and just massala sauce . Sauce just slapped on plate not even on balti dish. Bill came to 70 pound when i asked how much for kids sauce they said it was 6.95 each that was disgusting. They are just money grabbing charge 4.50 for small rice 4.50 fir small chipps really they dont even wear a mask they just rob you blindly. Will never go there again. Dont use bakti dishes like they used to so you get less. Will use holywell in future. We used to have really nice times there when Ash and family there

A hidden gem in an area new to us. We used TripAdvisor to find a restaurant within 5 miles of home and weren't disappointed. Excellent service, delicious King Prawn Tandoori and a tasty sag aloo, all made for a delicious meal. We didn't realise that there was no licence but there is an Aldi just across the road, if we had needed alcohol.

We visited for the first time for a takeaway in Dec 2023. The owner was very friendly and the service was good but unfortunately, the food wasn't. We ordered butter chicken and chicken madras. The chicken was tough and tasteless. The butter chicken tasted nothing like butter chicken. The madras was bland and tasteless. The naan breads were all rubbery and tasteless too. The only plus was the pilau rice, it was cooked nicely and very colourful. Sorry but nobody enjoyed it and i can actually cook both of these dishes way better myself. First and last time for us. Really disappointing.

We have been to many Indian Restaurants but this is far superior to our experiences! The owner couldn't do enough for you. The welcome was exceptional, food was delicious!!!

This little Gem in my home town of Flint is delightful, friendly and welcoming staff and great service nothing is any trouble for them did my Mums curry just how she wanted it slightly hot 😊the starters were superb and the prices are perfect, we had starters sides and main meals all fresh and the rice is amazing and light I rate the whole experience 5 star ⭐️ don’t hesitate to Dine there, We will definitely return x

It's consistent. The food is always good, service is great and Tiger is a brilliant host. In two and a bit years we've never had a bad meal. We take friends and family knowing that everyone will be catered for. If you want a rock solid Indian meal you won't go far wrong at Raj Balti Flint

My Son and I called in off chance whilst going to watch the football at Flint Stadium. We only had a short amount of time and the service was really speedy. Muhammad and the staff were so welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious. I had Chicken Tikka Balti and the chicken was so succulent with a really flavorful sauce. Veg Pilau as great as was the garlic nan. Chance visit but will be back again in the future.

Enjoyed our meal here, just an informal meal on an overnight stay in Flint. Food was served plated up which is unusual for an Indian restaurant. Portions were spot on. Pleasantly surprised that we could bring our own wine too. Owner was very pleasant. Would definitely return if in Flint again.

Visited from the home of the Balti…Birmingham and was amazed that the owner was from 5 minutes from our home in Great Barr….lovely food, great service and even better you can take your own drinks and are not ripped off on overpriced food and drinks….we will not visit any other restaurants now on our visits to see my parents in Prestatyn and as my wife don’t drink alcohol it’s worth the 30mins drive there and back

My partner and myself moved to Flintshire last year, we tried a few local Indians (once the pandemic eased off) but the Raj is the best by far. We go once a week now. The young man who serves us (I think he might be called Tiger, from reading the other reviews) is always super friendly and helpful, and if you want your food a bit milder than usual or a bit spicier, he will sort it out for you. The food is always fresh-cooked and really hot (temperature-wise) which I like, I can't stand luke-warm food. We have never had to wait a long time for our food either, but we do tend to go quite early.If you want a curry, go to the Raj, it is much better than the more expensive Indians.

Brilliant experience with Raj Balti House. Accommodated a larger group of us and were really understanding and helpful when we were delayed for our booking. Went out of their way to make sure we could still place orders even though it was late on a Friday. Despite there being a few of us the host was great, with friendly interaction the food was very tasty and the portion sizes were nice and generous. Catered for all of our different dietary requirements too. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Ordered food for delivery for the first time from here today, delivery was fast, food arrived nice & hot, and was delicious, im a bit of a fussy eater, but cant fault anything about the food from here, we had chicken tikka starters & chicken korma main, the chicken was lovely & juicy and full of flavour. Would definately order from here again & highly reccomend!

My family has been coming to the Raj for as long as I can remember (I think I was in the womb the first time!) This family run business has always offered excellent service and fantastic tasting food. Really good value for money and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. If we have a takeaway the food is just as good and fresh as it is in the restaurant. Since Covid there have been dividers between the tables, and everything is kept clean and sanitised.

We have been going to Raj Balti for our curry’s on a regular basis for the last 2 years. Cannot fault it. After trying other places this one is by far the best in the area! Great food and friendly staff every time.

Fantastic food as always rang the order through at 4pm for delivery at 7pm the food came hot and on time biggest surprise was the put some extras in for us .we ordered 6 starters and 6 mains not much went to waste thanks to everyone at the Rajs

Me and my family have been coming here for years, wouldn't go anywhere else. Lovely food at reasonable prices. Varied menu with plenty of choice for everyone. Staff are always very polite and the service is great. Can't wait for the restaurant to re open so we can enjoy a sit down meal with family and friends again, but for now the take away service is enough.

Phoned at 5.15 on a Sunday afternoon and ordered the set meal for four. Asked to substitute items on the menu and my request was accommodated without question. Food arrived promptly the agreed time and it was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Fabulous service and food. Thanks to Tyger and the team. x

Waited 45 mins to pick up order and took and extra 30 mins to be ready when we had food it was cold and sloppy tasted disgusting was an awful experience and for what we paid it was definitely not worth the money and will not be eating there again, we were very disappointed as we looked forward to it and I would not recommend at all sadly.

Absolutely great. Food , service, quality , cleanest are amazing.We order on regular basis and never had an issue. Take away pick up : 30-40 min , is amazing considering the quality of the food. If you fancy an fresh, authentic Indian food night I would highly recommend.

Was just camping locally in the area of North Wales when I stumbled across this restaurant. Great food, great staff, and the ajwaini was brilliant. Will come again when I'm in the area.

Very disappointed tonight and for the last 3 times I've ordered a take away. They either get the order wrong. Miss something off what you've ordered or get the meal wrong. Normally love the food at the raj but after tonight will never order a takeaway again.. Sorry I didn't cook a meal I would of enjoyed it more. A shame, and the girl who took the order seemed disinterested. Won't ever be going again

Lived in the area a few years but had never been here until last weekend. Now I'm here every weekend. Their Really friendly, accommodating and the food is amazing. On delivery the food is still piping hot. Best Indian in the area wouldn't go anywhere else.

I have been dining at the Raj for a number of years and have always been impressed with the food and service. No matter what the occasion they go above and beyond to make your visit enjoyable. The food is always really tasty and well presented and the service friendly.

We held my partners 40th birthday party at the Raj and it was brilliant!Tiger and his team had everything organised and we were able to go earlier in the day to decorate the whole restaurant and we were able to pre order everything to make it easier.I would recommend this restaurant for party bookings and small family/couple meals - always really nice meals! The Raj is the best Indian I know. I travel for about half an hour to get to the Raj but it is totally worth it. Tiger is always friendly and welcoming and can’t do enough for us. The food is amazing quality and fantastic value for money. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Always busy but very accommodating if you’re last minute like me! Give this place a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic service, excellent food,Nothing was too much trouble highly recommend .We had a gathering of about 20 they sectioned their restaurant for us all to feel comfortable and safe , screened off each table but didn't feel separated from others , no delay in service all ate at the same time ! It was our first meal out as a family since lockdown. I can honestly say the Raj have made an outstanding effort in ensuring the safety of its customers whilst keeping the whole experience pleasant and welcoming. We ordered a takeaway over the phone last night & spoke to Ray who was really friendly! We got a call back from Tiger to query our order, as we'd accidentally ordered a 'dry' dish so he advised on some nice sauces. The meal was delicious as always & the friendly helpful touch made a huge difference.

Always had terrific service and meals from the Raj.Tonight there was one small mistake with our order which was dealt with asap, can't fault the customer service! Food is amazing there masala is the nicest I’ve tasted. Staff is really friendly and has been the same owners for many years always great food and great service inside is lovely and clean and home delivery portions are always cooked just as nice and generous portions would recommended to anyone if you like Indian food you won’t be disappointed :)

Having lived in the midlands where curry is king I’ve always found it hard to find a top notch curry house, but then we found Raj. Both eat in and takeaway are phenomenal, staff are brilliant and attentive and the food is amazing. 100% will be regulars once it can open up again but until then we will be enjoying a little bit of curry heaven at home
