Rafferty's in Corby

Been there several times since moving to Corby, staff always friendly. Usually order large cod and chips I split it in 2 and freeze half.

Shocking prices for well over greasy food. Had a kebab and asked for very little sauce got home and it was swimming in sauce

Worst kebab ever, I tried it twice thinking it was a one off but no it's really bad dont bother. If I want a kebab onto a real kebab house

Out off all the chip shops I’ve been to, the staff here are absolutely wonderful especially since they were super busy tonight. And the food was absolutely lush, definitely recommend it

I went to Raffertys tonight to get my dinner and I'm very pleased with my food very tasty. The staff are really friendly. I will definitely be going there again. 10/10 for friendliness and food 😊

Food tastes good, although expensive. Worst thing is the wait as the staff are so slow and always chatting to each other. Not good in the Covid climate when you have to wait outside in the cold or wet weather. Too many telephone orders taken also, which means pop in customers having to wait even longer in the queue.

Arrogance at its best . Greasy food, overpriced and cold . Grudge giving this lump of a man my money .

Visited on Saturday, had cod and chips. The best local chip shop by far. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and will visit again soon.

Popped in to get a takeaway of haggis and chips. Cooked just right, staff friendly and chippy clean. Delicous.

The very best chippy in Corby. The food is always cooked fresh and it is of a high standard. We have 3 vegetarians and 1 fussy eater so this place caters perfectly for us all. Great value for money

I have been here for fish and chips on many occasions and I am always surprised by the size of the fish potions.....massive ! Excellent value for money. Enough for 2 people.

Stopped on the way home for fish and chips.They were fresh and very tasty.Staff friendly and chatty.The only issue I have is that one of the servers had big nails with bright red nail polish 😢

I always use this place for my fish and chips. Great batter on the fish and good chips, a great variety of other foods from kebabs, pies, fritters, sausages and kids meals. Don't miss it. Good honest food.

chips over cooked not the first time ive had to throw the chips in the bin last time i got a donner kebab the meat had a burnt taste in the meat i have had that happen a few times

Rafferty's is nearly always busy so you may have to wait a while but the chips are great. Fish is hot and fresh. Staff are friendly.

Fui a Rafferty's el viernes. Normalmente tienen una gran guisantes blandos con mi comida. Nunca más. Los guisantes estaban siendo recalentado en el microondas. Sin problemas hasta ahora. My local chippy for 20 years now and it's always been fairly reliable but they need to start more deals up again!

In my opinion its the best corby chip shop. The food is consistently good and the staff are always so friendly.

i went in there they were swearing behind the counter the food was overdone the manager needs to sort it out and the staff needs to act more professional they were speaking about customers it was terrible i will never go in the shop again

Went for fish + chips , the shop was mobbed! We had to wait for fish to cook, when that was ready the chips were not . This lot don't know how to organise anything

I always pop up here for the mini fish and chips with curry sauce as it's such good value. They never fail to impress.

These are always good here but as they are on a major speedbump run to get there, we often go to one of the sister chip shops.. Didn't want too much yesterday, so had a regular bag of chips between us, with sausages and a pie

I visited Rafferty's on Occupation Rd last night around 7pm for Fish & Chips. When I got it home I realized what they had given me, Saturday nights leftover fish on a Sunday. The batter was soggy and uneatable for the majority of it, the fish underneath was dry and disgusting and the chips weren't much better. Most of it went in the bin. I have woken up this morning with a dodgy stomach, its sitting in my gut like a brick, 14 hours later. Awful, awful, awful. Never again will I use Rafferty's.

This place is so so clean for a chippy. Chips n fish are georgeous. There is always a handful of people most times waiting to order which shows you how good the food is. Service is quick and price is reasonable.

One of the best chippies in Corby. Queques can sometime be a bit long but this is to be expected as it is very popular. Everything is cooked to perfection and the portion sizes are quite large.

We've been going to Raffertys for years and always loved it but recently we have found the portion sizes of chips tiny. We bought dinner for 6 people the other day and were horrified at how small the regular chips are. If you're hungry or want good value for money don't go here. We'll find another chippy from now on! Terrible!

Always had good food, the queues at dinner time reflect this! Fish and chips getting pricey though, good competition from the new village chippy.

Normal choice of Chippy food including the option of having your fish battered, breaded or neither. Friendly staff but can take some time to be served. Large chips are not the largest portion that I have experienced but it will split into two relatively decent sized portions. Kebabs of various configurations, burgers, chicken, haggis, sausages and so on are all available. There are other establishments (restaurants, supermarkets, convenience shops, takeaways) in the very local vicinity so parking can, sometimes, be a challenge. All said and done, this is a good option for value for money take away food.

ive eaten in this chippy about 10 times over the last year this chippy is not the best ive eaten from but in corby its one of the best. service at busy times can be slow. At t time friday night take an ipod with you and some snacks because your in for a wait. staff are friendly and from the outside the place looks clean. all in all corby has some terrible chippys but this one is worth a visit, dont expect to be raving about how crisp the batter is or how tasty the cod is because its just ok

I stopped by to place order fish & chips for a large group of 20 people mid-day and they had it ready on time for me that evening. Everyone raved about how fresh the fish tasted. The portions were very large. It was very reasonably priced as well - about 6 pounds/person. They gave a 10% discount for our order since it was large. Chips were excellent and staff was awesome!

Great Chippy. Food is great and not greasy. There's a good selection of food eg kebabs etc but my favourite is the mini fish and chips with curry sauce which offers really good value for money.

Great chippy lots of variety and very reasonably priced. 1 chips feeds us both easily. Chicken is a huge portion. Meat and chips try's are vast.

Rafferty's over a good selection of chip shop good and on top of this do a tasty range of burgers and kebabs When people are prepared to queue you know you are going to get something good to eat

Great friendly staff in a central location, the food is all freshly cooked and very tasty. There is usually a queue which is not a bad thing, burgers are great, big portions

This is an amazing chippy. We have been going here nearly every week on a Friday without fail... Really good portions on chips, and two different sizes of cod. Chicken is amazing and huge.Best one we found in corby.

Good food at good prices A cross from of chippy and Kebab shop that works very well It is situated in a busy parade of takeaway so there is a choice however there is a queue which shows customers are prepared to wait for the good choice of food and service - a big thumbs up

I go between this and Ocean Fish Bar which are both family related. The Kebabs are different and other small differences. Often order to collect for a work dinner. Loads of chips and decent sized chicken and fish. Chicken is uaually nice and crisp here.

Great chips, great service, lovely food and fish cakes and it's a nice that they do fresh rolls. Only downside the price has gone up quite a bit over the years for fish and chips as a supper. Nice touch with the childrens portions and they are normally enough to fill you up.

Good value chippy with lovely food.Only downside is having to go over the speed bumps to get there. I use this one or Pytchley Court and both are chippy's that I need to use the car to get to.
