Took home and it was to die for! You must try if it’s there on your visit. Thank you to the Rachel’s cafe team xxx

Stopped off for a cooked breakfast while on a motorbike trip to the coast. Plenty of parking out front and was already quite busy at 8:20am on a Sunday morning. Always a good sign!We weren't disappointed. Ordered a medium breakfast with black pudding and a coffee from the friendly woman on the till. The coffee was out at the table before I'd even got my jacket off. Food followed 5 mins later and looked great! It tasted even better, eggs cooked to perfection (runny centre but cooked through white), sausage (lincolnshire of course) was delicious as was the black pudding. Whole place was clean and tidy with friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Highly recommend a stop off at Rachel's place.

Our second visit to Rachel's as a group, REME (veterans ) Lincs Breakfast Club and have decided that this will be our permanent location for our monthly get togethers. The food is very good, service excellent and very friendly, helpful staff. There is plenty of parking for all types of vehicles including coaches either on the way to or back from the glorious Lincolnshire coast.Large groups are advised to let the cafe staff know and prepare for your visit.Groups of cyclists would enjoy here as a place of rest and refuelling before thrir onward journey. There is also outdoor seating if desired. Prices are very reasonable and there is a good menu selection.

Excellent service and wonderful economical meal. My meal was Ham Salad which I had with new potatoes, it was really delicious. My partner had a scrumptious steak pie chips and vegetables. We were too full for dessert but will call in on the way home. Rachel's is ideally situated between Lincoln and seaside resorts Skegness and Mablethorpe.

I last left a review in March 2020 , just before the pandemic hit us all.I make no apology for leaving another review as today I finally got to have breakfast at this wonderful cafe again. It is without doubt the best cafe that I have been to for 60 years! I am 73.On the way home from the coast, after phoning up and checking that the cafe was in operation, we called in and had the “small breakfast each at £3-50.One has the choice of Lincolnshire or standard pork sausage, and you can chose tomatoes, beans or what I have “a bit of each”.The cafe remains as good as ever and the food today was excellent.I am a good cook and lover of English bacon breakfast but I can never get my breakfasts this good. The cafe is spotless and the Covid precautions and diligence first class.I was delighted to return for the first time after lock down etc and was pleased to be able to congratulate the guy on upholding the family standards.I love the breakfast so much that I can’t comment on anything else on the menu.Years ago my wife had a lunch that wasn’t breakfast and she said it was very good.

Lovely little cafe set back just off of the main road in Hagworthingham. I have visited here a couple of times now and am always impressed with the quality of their food. The breakfasts are great to start your day. Last week I visited for dinner and had the Lasagne which was delicious. The cafe is always clean and the staff have always been friendly. The toilets are clean and they are following the new Covid-19 guidelines by asking you to wear a face mask upon entry and when moving around the cafe. They also have hand sanitiser at the entrance to the toilets.I will definitely keep visiting here. There is a great menu choice and everything is really well priced.Only thing to be aware of is that it can get busy at certain times of the day.

Can't tell you how often I've driven past and not been in. It isn't really the type of cafe I would go for. It is always busy and was packed when we went in on a week day. There is lots of choice. I had a cheese burger, which for the money was fine and added chips, which were lovely. Others had the breakfast, which they really enjoyed. You aren't going to starve as the portions are generous. It's basic though, including service but doesn't pretend to be anything more than it is.I would go again but I prefer a more intimate atmosphere when I go to eat and this is more of a pit stop place.

We were welcomed in and had a pot of tea and wonderful lemon meringue pie and ice cream, a difficult choice as all the home made cakes looked delicious. The menus advertised covered all dietary needs and were very reasonably priced. It would be worth getting lost again to return there. The cafe was spotless and so were the toilets best of all was the disabled loo, a pleasure to use. Visited as a multi generational family group. Rachel's serves really lovely home cooked food at incredibly reasonable prices. This isn't a fancy venue but the food can't be faulted. My husband loved that there was a choice of (very high quality) sausages, the steak pie was brilliant and came with 5 different portions of veg and food for our children was also well received. I wish I'd had room to sample one of the delicious looking puddings. A slight negative was the very lengthy wait for food, but we realise that everything was cooked to order. Have visited Rachels Cafe on a number of occasions now and I can honestly say the food is great. My mum and I called in on the way to the coast for a bacon cob and a cuppa. Whilst there we spotted a lovely looking steak pie. We purchased two portions to take with us to have later for dinner. Even reheated, the pie was absolutely gorgeous, huge chunks of meat and plenty of it. We enjoyed it so much that on my next visit I spoke to Rachel who, by the way, seems lovely, and asked if she could make me three of the steak pies (one pie has 10 portions to it). She was more than happy to oblige and all she asked was I give her 72 hours notice. The staff are all friendly, food is lovely and the added bonus is that their is East Coast Meats Butchers right next door who do great deals on meat too.

Went on recommendation from hotel in horn castle Reasonably priced and breakfast was good. The downside was that one member of the party didn't like butter on her toast and it came already buttered. When she asked if she could have a slice of toast without butter she was told they come already buttered. She therefore asked for a slice of bread with no butter and was asked to pay an extra fifty pence which she did. A bit dear for one slice of bread.

We found the cafe spick and span, as were the waitresses and those who served behind the counter, their manner was friendly and kind. The food was nigh on perfect; if anything the bacon was a little over-cooked and dry but I will not mark them down for that as I would give them over-the-top marks for service. The salad was as fresh as if newly picked and the home-made stilton and broccoli quiche was mouth-wateringly good. Thank you! We will be back.

My husband and I called into this lovely cafe on the A158 yesterday morning for breakfast on our way to the east coast. We decided to both have the bigger breakfast which cost £4.50 each. It was excellent value for money. We each had 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 2 eggs, hash brown, beans or tomatoes ( my husband had a bit of each) and toast. It came piping hot and presentation was great. The staff were really friendly and polite and the cafe itself was spotlessly clean. Would definitely return and would advise anyone passing to call in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Sparklingly clean establishment as always. Fantastic service from all the staff and owner, smiles all round nothing to much trouble. Food was fast and excellently presented, fit to burst when finished and that was with small breakfasts. Couldn't believe how cheap eating out for breakfast could be for 5. :) Many Thanks will come again soon.
