We had 2 breakfasts, asked for 2 slices of toast with the breakfast and received 1 slice cut in half, and not enough butter for the toast, the breakfast was very under cooked, definitely not worth the money we paid... One of the worst breakfast I have ever had or in this case not had... never to return

The last three times I've been, it's taken at least 6 to 15 minutes to get served even with 4 staff on , they all mainly stay in one area near the kitchen end , even on a quite night .

Love this place for a meal sometimes better then other times but that depends on the clientele

Had an early lunch so Hungry Horse wasn't too busy at that time. Food ordered arrived by smiling staff and was piping hot. Lovely

I have given exceptional reviews for this pub in the past as usually the food is amazing We went in for breakfast yesterday and the food wasn't very good at all My partner got waffles your way which she enjoyed I got jam on toast which was lovely, however, there wasn't enough butter. The main problem was the breakfast butty I asked for sausage and bacon, the biggest issue that I had I was asked if I had any allergies which I replied yes I do and that is onion and garlic. The sausages I could taste onion in them so I took them off and gave them to my partner as she is okay with them but I had already had a small bit of sausage The bacon was soggy and so was the bread, the chef who was on had clearly just buttered the bread and rather than crisping up the bacon he hadn't. He had taken the bacon straight off of the grill straight on to the bread which caused the bread to absorb the grease and go soggy. I was a chef for 5 years in various restaurants and bars in Harrogate and Leeds, so I know what I am talking about. I am now suffering with a bad stomach so not a great experience sorry. However your pub is my usual go to for meals and I don't want that to change based on one bad experience, we usually like your food that much that we came in for boxing day dinner last year. But for me to have a bad stomach like I have isn't good I should have been advised that the sausages contained onion especially when I have an allergy to them

The food was undercooked and the portions were extremely small. One staff member, who had just started his shift, had a bad attitude and made a rude comment about being short-staffed. We used to go to this restaurant regularly, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I have also contacted the brewery to express my dissatisfaction.

Took a while to get served, just the one barmaid on, and she was having to sort out a customer's food order. Went in at 3pm, there was a few in, but not a lot of atmosphere.

I nip into Queensway once in a while on my way past whether it be just for a quick soft drink and a meal or a few pint. On occasion I’ve spoken to a staff member called Danny , a lovely lad I’ve had a few laughs with and gives outstanding service . Keep up the good work Danny and work your way up the ranks!

Food was sent out in good time, and was very lovely! I was served by Luke on the bar and Dan brought my food to the table, and made sure we had everything we needed. A lovely meal!

Danny was brilliant at the event and completely went above and beyond 🙌

My nearest pub and one I'm more than happy with, breakfast for my wife and me have been great, service is always good but we only tend to go at quieter times so couldn't comment how easy it is to get served when it's busy. BTW if you want to sit down and have a breakfast this is far quicker service than Macdonald's (the not so fast fast food chain)

Really friendly staff. Part of the hungry horse chain, so same menu as what we'd had at another pub. Substantial meals, good value.

Food was awesome except for the cleanliness. My boss saw a fly in her food. One of the managers refused to do a refund afterwards. One other manager was professional and nice enough to come to the rescue to do a replacement and refund for her. This aside, their food tasted great.

Had breakfast very good quality an price. The beer at the Queensway is a very reasonable price

I just have visited Queens way Pub with my partner and our daughter and I would like to give them best feedback I can. We have ordered three quite big meals and everything was ready less than twenty minutes. I was very impressed. Food was delicious, meat and fish taste very fresh. Burger big. I can't find any issue. Prices are same like every else but food is much better. Highly recommend that place if you want spend time fits friends or family. Good for dinner. Didn't try breakfast yet but I will come on my off day. Breakfast today morning. 15 minutes waiting time. Really quick. Very tasty. Could be bigger offers for kids. Menu has change, they got some new offers. After visiting today can say the prices went just a bit up but still worth. Food is delicious.

Fantastic pub grub and value...£10 burger and pint while euros are on,upgrade to the quadzilla it's massive! 3 baskets of chicken strips and dip for £12 is an absolute steal! Brilliant service with a smile 😁 Will definitely be back

The place is very shabby now need a refurb I think. Food very basic but OK although I think it's quite expensive for what it is. Coffee was really bitter. I did complain and got another but still not very nice .

Breakfast was beautiful. We will be back. I don't usually drink ice coffee but thought I'd try the iced caramel latte and it was amazing.

We had had a very busy day and it was decided to go the the Queensway for food and to chill.... Fish & Chips was on our mind. It was not to be as we was told there was no fish & chips..... So on this note we left to seek out fish & chips esle where....

Quick O.K. meals and friendly service. Comfortable and relatively cheap. Easier than cooking a meal at home sometimes.

Attended as a family group of six. None of us had anything bad to say about the meal, but, nothing was worthy of a mention to colleagues either. Bang average in every aspect.

had tea last night with my son. we had the curry and wine deal, amazing pricing and food was fantastic. ordered drinks from the mobile service, the bar staff was quick and very friendly. I can't believe how much the prices seem to have increased over the last few years. 4 drinks - almost twenty quid! Maybe that's just me getting old, maybe it's just the industry and a result of covid. Anyway it's location location location. It's local for me. It's a pretty standard green king pub with the usual specials nights on food. It's quick food for the masses and the staff and pub are pretty spot on with it. The app is terrible and always shows most foods as " unavaialable". Tried the Korean burger last night which was gorgeous. The surroundings are mediocre. It's last revamp is now visually a long time ago. A lot of patchy paint and signs of wear and tear but all in all, it's a decent enough place for a midweek beer. The beer garden is a decent size and I believe has outside tv mounted. Good Stagg service.

Went for tea with my family, food was very nice and came out in good timing. Service was amazing and the pricing of food fantastic for the portion sizes. Will be returning to try the burgers next

Disappointed. Booked a late Mother’s Day meal for 6 adults and 1 child in high chair. Upon arrival we found that a family decided to swap around table reserved to suit them which made it that we couldn’t sit together. They approached them and I couldn’t hear what was said but we had to sit apart. The meals were nothing special at all, cheap ingredients equals cheap meals. I had 7 chips on my roast chicken meal. Came on a skillet and I had to ask for a plate as I don’t like the skillet. They plated it and it looked lost. The rest of the party had equally small measures, one mixed grill that the meat was chewy and substandard. All in all the amount we paid collectively was not worth it.

First time in the Queens way at Scunthorpe & it won't be our last, thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the atmosphere was laid back & relaxing, the food which we had a full monty mixed grill for the hubby & I had the half roast chicken with a side salad & a baked potato, which was superb & juicy, we both ended up extremely over full, which I guess is how you want to leave after having a meal & a drink or two out. The staff was all exceptionally nice & friendly, especially Charlie whom we had a little chat with while she answered our many questions & attentive requests, so on the whole it's definitely a good place to go, time & time again, ample parking & disabled spots right outside the door with a ramp if needed, thank you again team Queensway👌👏.

How do they do it ? Steak pie and chips and fish and chips for £11.49 and not only great value but excellent quality too! All staff were friendly and helpful and it’s a pleasure to visit, great work all keep it up 👍🏻 Greene King could do with spending a few quid to refurbish and maintain the interior as parts of the pub need attention but that is out of the staff’s hands Overall 10/10

Came in for lunch today with some family members. We all loved it. It was delicious. The Thursday offer is really good where you can get a free pudding or free started with any super special plate. Service was fast and our food was brought to us with a smile by Claire. I’ll be back to try out some puddings next time

It's pub grub after all but it was tasty and cooked well. Funnily enough as a Hungry Horse this place is about 50p cheaper a meal than the Farmhouse just down the road. This was a great evening everyone enjoyed their food. Good portions for the price

Visited after 2pm on Monday 23rd Jan 24. Very quiet and unprepossessing pub. Service was excellent and the food was excellent. The appearance of the pub belies the quality of service and food. I think Greene King should reward the pub with some expense on the decor.

We came here for a breakfast . I had the large breakfast which was nice and as I don't like eggs they gave me another slice of bacon which was good .My boyfriend had a bigger breakfast and he said he enjoyed it .They were a lot nicer than the breakfast we had at The Farmhouse Pub even though they are the same pubs .

My wife and I drop in here for lunch when visiting Scunthorpe hospital. Friendly and efficient service, good food. Well worth a visit.

Meal wasn't very nice, 2 people had the steak, asked for medium rare, it was dry and cold, could not eat most of it, should have sent it back really!

I met friends for a couple of drinks and food. The wrap was dry and the chips okay. Not as good as it used to be. Service was incredibly slow, more put into the orders on the app by the looks of it. They had ran out of small bottles of fizz, so only glasses available.

Had our family Christmas dinner today we have had many out over the years and this was one of the best. The Turkey was excellent and little touches such as a little card with our menu choices on and the staff gave names for each meal. And as for value for money... Excellent portion sizes and complementary drinks. Thank you all for an excellent Christmas lunch
