Qube Restaurant in Pembrokeshire

Honestly it’s incredibly overpriced for what it is, we were expecting something quite special but every dish lacked its price point. The staff were great but I wouldn’t come here again. Also want to note the speakers were playing annoying hit tunes which clashes with the high end vibe they’re trying to sell.

The food was good and staff were friendly. Only thing to let them down was that once our main meal was cleared away the service stopped. We had no offer of a desert or further drinks.

After visiting the qube , with my husband. For a quiet evening meal, I felt I must leave a review. After having such a lovely time. From being served by Gill and her staff. And having such tasty and good quality food 😋 we'll be definitely returning soon Lovely atmosphere 👌 too, keep up the good work. Excellent job 👏

Very impressed, we turned up around 2000hrs after a long 7.5 hour drive with 2 very tired children. The staff especially Ceri were very accommodating, the food was amazing for both adults and both children. I strongly recommend the Fillet steak rare (obviously) and they do an amazing Bloody Mary. We strongly recommend the Qube as a family environment and as a romantic venue without children. Big thank you to Ceri, we hope you got home ok in the floods.

Visited wilst on holiday for a family celebration meal. There were 14 of us, the food was great and the staff were lovely, in fact, it was that nice. We went back for breakfast later in the week.

Best place to eat in Tenby if you are looking for something a bit more classy than a normal pub,even put a birthday balloon on table

First time coming here, and the restaurant was so mesmerising and beautiful. We were sat by the fire and it was really romantic. My fiancé and I shared the baked cheese starter which was absolutely gorgeous and very filling. Our mains we both had the fillet with Stilton sauce which melted in the mouth, so so delicious! The staff were attentive, polite and very friendly, they were the best. Thank you for a lovely evening we would definitely return (but have just mains as we nearly had to be rolled out of the restaurant we were so full haha)

Very disappointing lunch of fish and chips. Visited lunchtime, ordered the fish and chips. Very disappointing meal. Fish was tiny, batter was dripping with fat. Chips were horrible. Tea was good

7 of us for Sunday roast with puddings to follow. Absolutely delicious and good value. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service. A definite to return to

Having arrived in Tenby for a weeks family break we we’re struggling to find somewhere nice to eat that was reasonably priced with good quality food, this restaurant delivers on all those things. Lovely and relaxed atmosphere, really friendly service which is top draw and lovely food!! We ate here for an evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent.

A restaurant generally gets a good review for either serving great food, or large portions. It’s therefore a treat to find one that does both. A great varied menu and everything was executed very well, in very generous quantities. Lovely friendly and attentive service also.

Had a lovely meal last night and couldn’t fault anything-very friendly staff-restaurant was spotless and the food was delicious and served hot and with a smile -excellent sized portions ♥️definitely recommend Hubby had Moroccan tagine which was delicious and I had the sea bass which was beautiful 😍

On 15 October 2023 I was looking for takeaway because my child doesn’t like restaurants. Staff was so great they took extra care and effort to make sure that we could take out our dinner. We really appreciate this. Food was excellent. Thank you so much ladies. I wish you all the best.

Lovely little visit out of the rain this morning for a coffee, a pot of tea and a toasted tea cake😊 Served by a friendly lady and made to feel welcome. Loved the open fire place.. perfect for a windy and wet morning! Will recommend 😊

We had a very nice meal here, the dover sole was huge and cooked perfectly! Very reasonably priced. Atmosphere was great on the Friday evening as they had a band playing. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Me and my partner were looking for somewhere to enjoy breakfast the morning after the great Ironman event and liked the look of this place in the Tenby town. It was clean and not busy once we had arrived and staff were very helpful. Food was so gorgeous and the price was very respectable. As a breakfast location, I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Tenby in future.

Not exactly the best time to be staying in Tenby with storm Agnes on our doorstep literally, as we were staying in our favourite hotel The Giltar right on the sea front. We ate at the Qube lunchtime on the Monday when we arrived. My lasagne was delicious, as was the salad and garlic bread. My husband had the sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked medium rare. So often our steaks back at home turn up medium which we hate. We had a delicious bottle of Riocha with our meal. The service was excellent, with Ellie , our delightful waitress looking after us. We enjoyed it so much we returned another twice to eat. I had the fillet steak the second time, again beautifully cooked by Chris , the chef, with Pembroke potatoes. We did not have starters as the meals were substantial. Ellie looked after us each visit. My husband had the sea bass on the last visit. The delicious meals and service really helped us enjoy our break and made up for such inclement weather. We can’t wait to visit again next year.Christine Guy.

Just walked in tonight as it looked nice walking past. We wasn’t to sure as we were a family of 4 with a 18 month old and a 3 year old and we had a double pram in tow. Well the ladies could not have been more helpful. Not only were they helpful but they went out their way to entertain our children to make them feel at ease. Our son almost never eats when we go out but they made him feel so comfortable that he finished his plate. Yes the food is not cheap but you are eating at a quality establishment with exceptional customer service at a seaside restaurant so it’s not surprising. We had the special of the day which was beef brisket. It was delicious. Thank you so much to the lovely ladies who looked after us and also the talented man who was playing live music

We were welcomed by Jill and showed to our table by her. Throughout the evening, the service was very good, as was the food we eat. We always like the ambience of the restaurant and this occasion was no different.

The best place to eat in Tenby. We have been going here for 7 years running. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. The food is excellent. We ate there three days running … perfection every time . Fillet steak was to die for.

We had a fantastic evening meal here, both starters and main meals were lush. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

I’ll get straight to the point with the negativity. There wasn’t a great deal of hospitality when we entered basically told to sit anywhere Really very slow to take our order five minutes more and I probably would have left it was NOT busy, it would have been nice if we had been shown to a table and order some drinks there and then maybe it’s not done like that in this restaurant. The bread served with the prawn cocktail was stale or had been left out uncovered at first I thought it was an artisan bread I asked for a second opinion the second opinion was it was stale, apologies it it was artisan if it was you need to change it. Chips tasted greasy, the oil needs to be changed. On the positive side once food was ordered it didn’t take too long to arrive, presentation was excellent food looked really good on the plate portion size was very good the food was hot and very tasty(apart from the chips) The prices were a little bit higher but I suppose it’s Tenby prices and the portion size did reflect in the price. Would I visit again? It’s a shame really because a couple of things let you down If the service had been better no stale bread and no greasy tasting chips then yes but If I visit Tenby again I’ll probably go elsewhere sorry.

Brilliant service, fantastic food and overall a great night with friends. The food was cooked to perfection, no complaints whatsoever Definitely worth a visit when in Tenby.

Tenby's little gem, this place offers a delightful dining experience with a diverse menu. The charming setting and welcoming staff make it even more appealing. Our Sunday morning visit for a cooked breakfast was the perfect way to start the day before our journey back home. Good drinks selection all well priced, dog friendly too.

Food was very average and did not like my starter. Mushroom bruschetta came on soggy bread not toast and tasted stale. The salmon was lovely though! Overall the food was not worth the price, very overpriced and staff were slightly slow and forgot our cutlery for main course and my partners beer. Also was far too hot in the restaurant. Shame, as the pictures on the website and advertisement boards show very posh looking food, looks good but does not taste at all how you think it should.

After looking at the menu I was looking forward to eating here. Our starters (calamari and garlic mushrooms on bruschetta) were “nice” the calamari was well cooked, but there was no crunch to the bruschetta, it was soggy from too much sauce on the mushrooms...

Warm and friendly service, lovely meal. I had the Cajun salmon and chocolate cheesecake, both were really nice. Nice atmosphere and reasonably priced. Visit here a couple of times a year and always enjoyed it.

Look out for a mean looking bird if you sit outside to eat your food! It flew in to steal my fish right off my plate!! The staff was extremely nice to replace the whole plate and move me inside. The best food I have had till date!

The food is over priced for what is quite basic. The pasta was not freshly made, penne mixed with sauce. The burger bun was soft but the patty lacked the meaty texture expected. Service was good.

Price would normally drop it to a 4 star but a 5 deserved for the incredibly helpful service. We'd had a disappointing experience with gluten free breakfast at the start of the day but this more than made up for it. The lady taking our order spent time going through every dish on the menu, what was gluten free, what changes that could be made to make them gluten free, and what wasn't available. She was also friendly, great with the kids and the food was delicious and served quickly. Will be back!

Delicious food and great place to sit and watch people

Been here a few times, for meals and drinks, with the family. They were great with my kids here (which is enough on it's own sometimes!) but the food, drinks and staff pleased all of us. Amazing thick and juicy bit of Gammon!

First trip to Tenby, was recommended here where kids eat for £1 and I confirmed via telephone. Arrived 5pm and was seated at our table, again we asked for confirmation about kids eat for £1. My husband then had to go ask if our drinks...

Great place for food..not cheap though..had my 10 year old daughter with who fancied a tomato based pasta dish but they didn't do one..offered to make anything off the kids menu larger which I thought was a nice touch..she loved the chicken curry I had a chicken "burger" which was a big chicken breast not the usual breadcrumb coated nonsense..very filling...6.50 for a pint of staropramen...ouch !!

Poor food quality Not what you would expect from a nice Restaurant. Nice service but the food was really poor. Sad to say I won't be going back to this place. And I live local so realy sad .better Restaurants in tenby.

Myself and my husband visited Qube for dinner. The food was good. But I don't think this place deserves even one star due to the reason that we were treated quite badly by the waitress. We are indians and we experienced significant racism. We felt like we had to wait on and beg for our order. We felt neglected. We had to witness other customers ( " the whites") being served with dignity. I don't think this restaurant deserves any star at all. No one deserves to be treated like this. Quite appalling situation!!!!

For the price of the food it was just OK. I think either lower the prices or increase the quality. An example very small bowl of chips, in a slightly larger than a Ramekin bowl was £4. The seafood platter had just 2x prawns. The lasagne was probably the most disappointing, small and unlike other lasagne absolutely no veg in the sauce and not at all generous with the meat. Tasted like tomato pasta. The chicken curry was very tasty and a decent portion. The chicken wasn't cooked in the sauce rather added just before it came out, still tasted good. The child meal was OK. If you are looking for value for money, I would perhaps consider somewhere else.

Fantastic service, knowledgeable staff, understanding about our daughters allergies. Went out of their way to keep her safe and communicate with us. Great menu choices and delicious food. Kids activities provided - very helpful and lovely place to sit and enjoy lunch together. Thank you!

"Nice enough". General consensus from myself and my partner is that it is OK food, which isn't ideal for the price. I ordered a medium rare steak and I got medium well done. It was juicy but still, not cooked to order. I'm gluten free, thankfully the chefs are checking in the background on the sauces that accompany the steak. I couldn't have peppercorn for this reason, and instead had the JD bbq sauce which was too watery for my personal liking...and it's £4 for a sauce so bit of a shame. Partner had beer battered fish and chips, said it was OK. It's dog friendly outside only, not inside. Service was OK. Generally an OK experience! We wouldn't go out of our way to come back but it was nicely convenient for what we needed today.

We were greeted and we sat down by the window. We both ordered a pot of tea between us. I ordered a stack of 3 pancakes with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries with maple syrup. My partner ordered the brunch. They arrived within 10 to 15 minutes...

We are visiting Tenby and after seeing some great reviews on Google, decided to try out Qube for lunch. To say we were shocked and incredibly disappointed with the food, would be a massive understatement. We ordered two baguettes, both equally revolting. Undercooked baguette, swimming in cheese and mayonnaise, southern fried chicken floating on top... Definitely avoid, better choices nearby.

The staff working here were very rude and showed poor service. The “freshly squeezed orange juice” was just poured from a 79p carton and they charged £3.40 ! No milk alternatives or coffee syrups are served here.

Nice place, cool decor. Relatively expensive but that's normal for the location and time of year. Food was very mid, and the chips were particularly bad. I beg the owners to buy any other chips from any other supplier. Staff were friendly and helpful. Menu was diverse so there's probably something for everyone if you have differing dietary needs.

Nice clean place staff friendly the waitress we had was really nice and the food was real good, would definitely recommend if your in Tenby this place is a must for food we will certainly be back.

Visited Tenby during half term and the area was extremely busy, when we entered the restaurant it was practically empty apart from 3 other tables having food the majority of customers were having drinks outside which surprised us. The lunch menu was ok nothing special as my partner wanted local fish he spotted a special on the board of seabream which he fancied only for the waitress to say that it’s only available for the evening but there was no mention on this on the board?? But she did check with the chef and he was happy to do it so my partner was happy. I opted for a burger requesting no tomato no lettuce but when it arrived I got no tomato and no onion and lots of lettuce the burger was also missing cheese. We did receive a check back on our starters but nothing on the main courses. The staff didn’t look like they wanted to be there and weren’t very efficient and one even gave our bill to the table next to us. There was one staff member who I believe was the owner was the only lovely person we encountered. The meals are very expensive but seems they can get away charging that in a place like Tenby, can’t say I’d return again

Seriously scalded by food that was placed on the table ! No first aider, had to ask for ice, was initially laughed at by first waitress, then asked by patronising person in charge “what’s up” and that food has to be hot to avoid giving...

We had come to this restaurant a few times over the years and the meals have been lovely. We went there yesterday expecting the same but was very disappointed. My husband ordered chicken curry and rice. When it arrived it looked like a bowl of soup. You couldn’t see the chicken. It didn’t taste like curry should taste. And quite sickly after a while. Mine was a vegetable curry but still didn’t taste like curry. Only coconut. It was a terrible waste of money. .Wish I had read the reviews about the food earlier. The staff were all talking together by the counter. Do not go there and waste your money We definitely will not be back

Love the Qube restaurant. Ate there on Saturday 12th May with my husband daughter and grandson.We all enjoyed our meals of salmon (2) ribs (1) and sea food pasta . Would definitely recommend.

The interior is slightly 'tired', but the food is excellent. Fabulous fish and pork belly dishes went down well on our visit. The cooking is clever and skillful, resulting in tasty, well rounded dishes. Service was good.

I had dinner here yesterday and the food was great, friendly and efficient service, and a great location. Even though I was on my own they gave me a lovely table in the window which was kind, as single diners are often shoved in corners!

Went there with my wife and had ribs, salmon, a few beers and coffee. This is one of the better restaurants in Tenby, the food was excellent and so was the service.

We came to have a nice coffee and breakfast.... but it was the worst coffee and breakfast we've probably ever had ! We ordered a cappucino and a flat white which both came in super large cups and tasted like milky water with a dropp of coffee, it was the worst coffe I have ever had ! So after having just one sip I told the waitress that the coffee wasn't good and that it was not a flat white to which she said okay and took it away... no sorry nothing! Then we proceeded to have our breakfast, which was no good. My partner had a qube brunch which was not cooked fresh so he only had a few bites from and I had the eggs benedict.... which had a quarter of a ham on each muffin.... seriously?! Upon receiving the bill I saw that the (coffee) was not removed as I had returned it so I questioned the waitress about it and so she went to speak to the manager and the manager was aware that we weren't satisfied but at no point came to speak to us or apologise for it. The waitress then proceeded to inform me that they only had large cups to serve a coffee in so I believe whether you order a latte cappucino espresso or anything else ut will just be filled up to the max of the cup which makes no sense. So to conclude the coffee is awful, the manager need training in customer service and there needs to be a basic barista training given to the staff. It was a real shame as the place has beautiful decor and atmosphere eith a lot of potential. Also the average cost of this awful cup of coffee is £3.70 which is more expensive than the most places in tenby.

However our last visit was a bit of a disappointment, I don't know if they have replaced the chef or if they were just having a bad day at the restaurant. For a start the cocktails were not up to there previous standard, no ice in the mojito, bearing in mind these are not cheap drinks either. The starter was great we shared the baked cambert cheese. As for the mains unfortunately my lamb was very grizzly which for a loin I didn't expect, the carrots were gritty and my wife's chicken which had no sauce was so dry. We will definitely give the Qube another try as we've had great food and drinks there in the past, hoping this was just an off day. Service is always good and staff are always pleasant.

Been there for a friend's birthday over lunch. Food was really amazing 🤩🤩😍😍. I had a Sunday roast which was delicious and wonderfully presented. My husband had pan seared basa and king prawns. It was out of this world. Cant recommend enough. Staff was lovely too. Had a lovely time. Thank you everyone at Qube.

Booked Easter lunch over a month in advance to be told we couldn't have the lamb because it was kept for evening diners only. Beef roast was good though.

The food was actually OK. Service was also fine but there was something about the place that didn't feel right. The staff didn't look happy with minimal interaction. Management needs to sort asap as it was obvious things aren't quite right.
