Conveniently located in the middle of Caversham, this delightful boutique restaurant offers an amazing atmosphere and authentic Italian dishes. The stone oven baked pizzas are absolutely amazing and the pasta and risotto are on another level. There is also a rich choice of deserts and aperativos. The service staff are lovely and professional!

Five of us went for a Mother's Day dinner, and we had a lovely evening. The food is simply delicious here, with plenty of choice. The staff are friendly and efficient. The complimentary Limoncello to finish always goes down well!

I grew up in the area and whenever we got takeout we always got their pizzas, and we sat in quite a few times too. Absolutely lovely place, great food and great service, and absolutely no complaints!

The food was absolutely fabulous,with reasonable prices and it's clearly NOT ready food.suggest to try the risotto.ALSO order the starter size except you're really hungry or you're not having any starter.Fab place

We have just come back from a lovely dinner with (adult) children, parents and grandparents. The staff are wonderful -friendly and professional, the food was delicious and we enjoyed our celebration evening. We're really lucky to have such an excellent local restaurant.

We are frequent visitors to this restaurant and I have been meaning to write a review. Good menu to choose from with a great selection of Italian favourites. Food is always cooked to perfection, this time I had the cannelloni special and the calves liver and both were very tasty. The manager is so welcoming and we usually manage to get a table in the week, you would have to book at the weekend. The service is attentive but not intrusive and the staff always have a smile. The restaurant is always busy and is a very popular local eatery.

Was invited by our friend. What a lovely atmosphere in the very well laid out restaurant. The menu was simple enough to read. Had the avocado as a starter what a delicious starter that was full of flavour . For main season bass . Well that had to be THE best sea bass I’ve ever tasted . Only little niggle was the prices , however the food was outstanding.

Thirteen of us went for a regular Christmas do. The food was great, the wine fantastic and the service excellent as usual. I chose the Italian Sausage with mashed potato and rich tomato sauce from the specials board. I'd had it a few weeks previously and memory didn't let me down. Well worth a visit - but don't wait for Christmas.

We had our work christmas meal here, just two of us, and it was flawless. Unfortunately our escape room ran over and we were late for our table, we rang up to let them know and they sorted a table for us. We had 3 courses each: mozzarella, prawns, cheese steak, chicken, chocolate cake and creme brûlée and i cannot fault anything, amazing night, staff were friendly and quick with service, we cannot wait to come back.

On Friday about a dozen of us visited for dinner. It was a great place to visit, my other half had the meatballs for starter (which I was tempted by), I went for the breaded mozzarella with a tomato sauce (went very well). I went for the excellent beef main (with onions, mushrooms and red wine sauce). Creme Brulee for desert, which was very good. Everyone was very happy with the dinner and a few went for the Amerone wine (I was unfortunately off booze for the night, but it is a favourite of one of the gang). Great staff.

This is the most delicious pizza I have ever eaten! All the ingredients are fresh and high quality and you can really taste it. It is the true taste of Italian pizza that every other chain tries to replicate!

We returned to Quattro after a few years and the pizze were exceptionally good, made with a very light and crunchy dough plus fresh and tasty topping ingredients. Attentive and friendly service, although we did not book in advance and the restaurant was very busy.

Takeaway pizza on a Friday Night - absolute heaven! Mozerella in Carrozza - fabulous and huge portion Pizza Ndja e burratta equally delicious - the Burratta was stunning!

Made a last minute booking for dinner with my dad that they were thankfully able to squeeze us in. The place was really busy when we arrived so it was appreciated. We were seen to our table promptly and a waiter was over to take our drinks order shortly after sitting. All the staff we interacted with were polite but not “in your face” or overly friendly, which is a good thing. The food was great and my dad said it was the best bolognes he’d ever had in his life, and he’s 70 now. He’s already making plans to come back when he next visits with mum.

Good selection of Italian dishes and wines. (The house white was very drinkable). Prompt and friendly service from both the o was ner and staff.

Absolutely amazing meal. Spent a lot of time in Italy and I can say it’s better than a lot of places I’ve been to there. Such friendly and swift service and the host was extremely welcoming and kind! We will be back very soon. Easily the best restaurant in Reading.

I have been coming here for 30 years, the food and service is always excellent. My most recent visit I had the mozzarella to start and the beef with mushrooms for main, and it was the best meal I’ve had all year. Caversham has a few really great restaurants but this is always my family’s favourite.

The food is excellent, pasta is perfect texture. Good variety and desert was well bakanced. And the atmosphere is relaxing where you do not have to rush for the meal and can spend a bit more time there. Wish they have gnocchi in the menu as well.

OK so this is a review of a takeaway as my partner had a first grand daughter 5 days ago so mum, dad and babe not able to eat out yet. I left a message to say I wanted to place an order and was called back. The order was placed and ready for collection less that half an hour later and, if you use the Chester Street carpark, there is a back entrance and everything was ready and waiting. My lady went for the Fettucine al Funghi - creamy garlic mushrooms to you and I. She was blown away by the flavours and I had a taste of what was left and can agree it was SO mushroom flavoured. I opted for the Penne Arrabbiata con Pollo with a side order of Meatballs. Starting with the latter they are probably the nicest meatballs I have tasted in my much travelled 68 years. The Arrabbiata was pretty amazing too with lots of flavour and plenty of meat - speaking purely personally I would have liked a little more sauce but it's a personal thing and the flavours were spot on. The youngsters opted for pizzas which I'm told were excellent but they were attending to their new princess to focus too much on the food. I lok forward to visiting the place again and sampling their full menu as the limited takeaway one if pretty good

A lovely place to eat in Caversham. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of places to eat in Caversham and lots of food choices that you could make but, if you get the chance I would highly recommend that you try this restaurant. It is located on the west side of Prospect Street just north of the Caversham Bridge. It is right off the street with a very nice glass window storefront. I walked in without reservations and was able to get a table early one afternoon. I am fairly certain that this was a fluke since the entire place was full not 30 minutes after we sat down. All this is to say, I would recommend calling and making reservations before you visit. You are greeted by a hostess who takes you to your table. The interior has wood floors, tables and chairs, and brick walls. It has a very nice, bright, and clean look to it. The tables are a mix of small and large tables in 3 areas. We were greeted and seated quickly. The menu has many Italian choices. I tried the Fettucini dish and a cider. The food arrived quickly, was a large portion, and was delicious. The waitress was very helpful and efficient. Overall, this was a lovely find for a wonderful dinner in Caversham. I highly recommend it but make reservations ahead of time. Enjoy.

The food and service was great but the prices have gone into orbit. Just puts me off dining out anymore. Some items were twice pre COVID but I guess that reflects the wider reality of post Brexit Britain

Food is great. Waitres are very nice and polite. The owners, one of them is extremely rude. Seems he hates children. I was there with my 4y old daughter and she was very very hungry. It was busy and we were waiting for food. I just politely asked if its possible please can we can have kid's food ASAP. A guy started literally shouting that we are bothering him and that we need to leave him alone. There were another 2 occasions when he complained that we asked for more pasta for a kid (it was tiny amount) and cheese. If you have little children, don't go there. It was a horrible experience and this guy should NOT work in this industry.

The restaurant is great, arguably the best in the Caversham part of Reading. The staff was very nice and polite, all the food was delicious, great selection of wines and even a regular house wine tastes good. The atmosphere was quite athletic so it feels almost like you are not in Reading even but in Italy. Compliment drinks in the end. That was a great dinner.

The best Italian food you will find anywhere

Brilliant Italian restaurant! Second time visiting and we went with a child and infant. We were blown away by the ravioli and carbonara on the first occasion and have to say this time was even better than the first. The staff were brilliant and quick to respond to any requests. Great ambience and clean tables. Service was always perfectly timed and we never felt like we were kept waiting long even though the restaurant was almost full. Yes, it's on the pricier side but think it's definitely worth it. Just note that if you are driving, parking is around the back and slightly tricky to locate first time around, so would need to go a bit further and turn left.
