Qoozies in Chesterfield

Great place but very over priced 3 drinks were £16.50 they were nice but I think if it was cheaper it would be busier. Nice for a special treat, but not even weekly.

Had a really good brunch here…the new menu is great. I’m also quite a fussy eater so made a lot of amendments to my dish and they were so accommodating and got it spot on. Will definitely come again soon for food. :)

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning, good selection, had the baked eggs & flat white coffe which were delicious. Staff lovely & attentive, great atmosphere.

Family catch up on a Sunday morning, decided to meet a Qoozies as we had seen the Sunday brunch advertised. Lovely friendly welcome. Ordering was easy, it was explained the baked eggs would take longer to cook, so pre warned for the wait. All our breakfasts were delicious and filling. Service was great, friendly & efficient. All in all we had a relaxing Sunday morning with great food and a nice atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere. Inside is Chilled and cosy. Outside chairs to sit in the sun! The food is amazing. Something for all. My kids always have the pancakes with different toppings. I like the healthy option of either the amazing fulfilling warm salad or the burgers with sweet potato hash brown!! The food is nice and unique! The stuff are always smiling and helpful. Definitely a must go to place in Chesterfield.

To start with, it was an amazing place to dine at. i really do recommend going here of you would like a nice, chilled environment and amazing service. I'd like to thank one staff member in particular, Alfie i think, he was charismatic, polite, and a really friendly person to have a conversation with. Thanks Quoozies and Alfie, 5 stars.

Just visited with my 11 year old twin girls. I had a full breakfast which was very nice (lots of bacon 👌) and my girls had Nutella pancakes, one with strawberries and one with banana. The food was excellent! My girls had a smoothie and a milkshake, both very nice. Will be visiting again soon. Highly recommended! 😀🙌

Can’t comment on the food but the staff are ignorant and don’t speak to you when you walk in,, I will not visit again, staff need customer service training and need to engage with customers.

Just had a work meeting at Qoozies. Great fresh Focaccia sandwhich with a smoothie and nice coffee to finish off. Friendly staff. Nice spacious cafe will definitely return and bring the kids for a pancake 👍

Been here twice the first time I ate half my meal with a Smoothie because the bread was so hard I couldn't eat it, my normal restaurant was fully booked so thought is give them one more try and this time was even worse I had about 3-4 bites of food and it was vile, even though I was starving I couldn't eat it plus the Smoothie wasn't that nice this time too. Sorry I won't be coming again it was an absolute outrage the price for uneaten food.

Quite disappointed in what qoozies has become over the years. We have made two visits in the past year and both visits have been disappointing. In September 2023 we visited and ordered an energy boost smoothy which was not as good as it used to be seems to not have much fruit in it anymore. The biggest thing was I watched multiple staff picking food out the the salad section (pasta) and eating it. One young lass kept touching the instead of her mouth every time she put the pasta in her mouth with no gloves on and then putting her hand back into the pasta bowl was very unhygienic. We choose to try it again today. I ordered the mozza burger and to be blunt it was not very nice at all it had 3 tomatoes in it, barely any pesto, and way to much cheese no seasoning on the burger or on the sweet patato hash brown. It made me feel sick due to the cheese being so thick and impossible to swallow the food. I order a latte with my meal which had been made way above temperature as it burnt my tongue on the first sip of it I understand I should have checked the temperature before having a drink but would never expect the latte to be that hot. I noticed the prices have gone up and the meal deals have been removed doesn't seem value for money for the food to be this poor. Very disappointed as been coming to qoozies since it first opened at the bottom of town. Very sad to see it go down hill.

Beautiful smoothies, ours were customised due to allergies and they did not dissapoint. Served by two lovely young ladies. Little pricey for a sandwich and smoothie but you pay for the quality

Not enough choice & drink was curdled

A really nice chilled environment and perfect for photos. The milkshakes are amazing. And taste so good. The one in the photo attached is the gjngerbread milkshake. But they do a gorgeous white chocolate and biscoff one too. Staff seem lovely and are very quick at serving. I go quite regularly and every time had a good experience! Thank you! :)

LOVE THIS PLACE- I recently won a competition to have lunch here. Qoozie is one my my favourite places to eat so I knew I would love it anyways but I took others with me and we were all impressed. There pancakes are epic and the lady looking after us was really lovely, she made us feel special and very looking after. The burgers are definitely worth a try if you haven’t already. Thanks so much. We will all be returning xx

I love this place. The food and drink options are interesting and super tasty.

Our daughter wanted us to go out for lunch and she chose Qoozies because she likes Nutella pancakes. The other options are limited but enough to have you ponder over a few items. The place was clean and quite quiet for 1 O’clock on a weekday. Food arrived quickly and it was hot and tasty. This is a find a seat yourself cafe, where you can use the QR code to order or you can go to the counter.

After my wife had visited Qoozies with a friend she suggested we go for a meal when in town. We called in around mid-day and I was impressed by its relaxed atmosphere and cleanliness. I had a panini and my wife had a toasty - both arrived very quickly, very fresh and they were full of taste. A couple of really nice coffees completed the meal. The staff were super friendly and we felt very welcome in the restaurant. Overall, I'd recommend a visit and certainly we will be returning.

Lovely place for tasty simple food. Salad for the vegetarian or burgers for the meal eaters.

We liked it there only thing against it was it was unbearably Hot,and it wasn't that hot outside.

Absolutely terrible when we visited on 19/08/2023 11am. Last visited Qoosies when it was a little upstairs cafe in town, and it was much much better. Granted that was a few years ago. Walked into a half empty cafe with a flat atmosphere. Not knowing whether we had to wait to be seated, or could just seat ourselves, we waited for several minutes. When no one came to us we assumed we had to seat ourselves. No greeting or smiles by any of the staff. Tried to order on the QR code, didn’t work. Went up to bar to order and after 5 minutes being ignored with staff walking past us, a bloke came and took our order. We ordered x2 milkshakes, one chocolate and one strawberry, and two sets of pancakes. Our milkshakes came quickly but weren’t great. Rather watery and lacked flavour. Then our pancakes never came. After waiting 30 mins, we were told they had ran out of pancakes but someone was going to get some more? We were told it would be 20 mins. 20 mins passed and no pancakes. And no-one with more pancakes.We had to be somewhere and just wanted a quick brunch. However we left hungry, dissatisfied and disappointed. Staff gave us a refund for the pancakes. Staff overall not great; offering no smiles or welcoming gestures. Milkshakes okay. Food non existent. Won’t be returning.

Myself and the mrs went in for a drink. The place was empty when I went to the till to order there was three staff talking to each other. All of them ignored me and looked at me twice. Would love to rate the drinks but if this is the level of service I couldn’t imagine the drinks being up to much so left. This place will be shut down before the year is out.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. My son wanted a hot chocolate so they made sure it was cool enough for him to drink. The customer service was really good and I felt like a valued customer.

Young girl who answers the phone needs some serious training, just goes silent, like she feels awkward and then puts the phone down Not sure why you’d let someone like that answer the phone, it’s not good customer service “ she obviously doesn’t want to talk so why let her answer the phone Not got my issue resolved because she was too scared to talk

Nice drinks but a bit pricey for what they are

Not the cheapest place (especially not for sweet treats), but Quoozies does offer a range of tasty treats for veggies/vegans and carnivores. Choices include sandwiches, wraps, salads and unreasonably large (like seriously too big) slices of cakes/brownies/rocky road (why don't they make the sweet things suitable for one?!). This place sells insane milkshakes, smoothies and juices though, really indulgent gorgeous things that top the food hands down (no food required infact if you choose to challenge one of the milkshakes!). The indoor is dimly lit but atmospheric. Seating is ample (benches and tables available) BUT there's only one loo and always a queue for it- I blame the rocky road...

Good mix of healthy and naughty food. The house salad is what I keep going back for.

Really great place, a great selection of drinks, including juices, smoothies made fresh. Totally tropical smoothie was delicious.

Although the place looked amazing the food did not. I spent £15 and I felt for the quality I should have spent £5. I couldn't even eat the avocado, which was black. Unfortunately I won't be visiting again.

Lovely food and friendly staff.

First time in here today and WOW, I love it! I was treated lovely by everyone there, no one made me uncomfortable as I take up a lot of room as I use sticks to walk with. The food is absolutely fantastic and whether you are a vegetarian, vegan or carnivore there is something that you can always eat. I had the Ollie burger and it was utterly sublime. I highly recommend this fabulous place and will be going back Regularly. Updated on March 8th 2023 with photo. Food is still excellent. Staff and services are wonderful. I highly recommend coming here.

Firstly, on entering my daughter pointed out how it reminded her of a Turtle Bay. Suppose it did slightly, a very low quality version of it. I found the food pretty atrocious, my daughter couldn't eat what was advertised as a 'burger', it was just multiple layers of fried things. I had a chicken salad comprising of maybe a tablespoon worth of chicken, 10% salad, 85% ground up onion. The place always seems busy though, suppose most diners here have pretty low expectations/standards. The yapping dog in the corner seemed happy enough though (no, not a guide or support dog), very hygienic. We could've had a proper meal elsewhere for the £30 I spaffed here. You should also revise the design of the bench seating, specifically off to the left as you walk in. I'm a normal 6ft bloke, and while sat there my feet didn't even reach the ground (or foot bar) i had to pull up a stool to rest my feet on it's legs. Very high, designed for Andrè the Giant perhaps?

Different to the usual Coffee Shop I liked it

Nice place to grab a shake/smoothie whilst shopping in town. They also sell light bites, cakes and sandwiches. My kids love the milkshakes whilst I prefer the fruit and yogurt smoothies.

Been here for the first time this morning for breakfast got to say one of the best breakfast I've had in a while beautiful produce really good coffee and the orange juice is die for. staff really friendly and very helpful excellent little place very cheap will definitely be back.

A little confusing when you go in as to whether table service or not. Someone showed us to a table but then we had to go up and order ourselves. Menu can be completed on an app if you prefer which will then be brought to your table.

I enjoy this place because it has healthy options (it also has a few naughty treats and drinks too). I don't come here too often and this isn't because I don't enjoy it, I do. The food is really tasty but for me the downside is that the menu doesn't seem to change very much. It's almost the same as it was last year which is a shame. The hot chocolate and desserts change regularly but not the main menu. I'm not sure how they make the batter for the burgers but it's really delicious. If you're from out of town, go visit here. I do hope in future they consider changing or adding something different to the menu. An added note; I also like that this place is dog friendly!

Nice brew, nice food. The at table ordering system (scan QR code) didn't show all the menu choices so had to go to the counter. Was overlooked by all waiting staff for a couple of minutes but got there in the end. Will try here again as the food was quite tasty. Just need to sort the ordering system out and remind staff to look out for customers at the counter....

Poor quality of food and expensive. Both of us had a wrap which should have been tuna,cheese,tomato and lettuce. Wraps were hard and crunchy round the edges. My wrap had no cheese and a small amount of dry tuna in lumps - clearly straight from a tin. Drinks - juice were expensive.

Great food, good prices. I had the one pot breakfast with chorizo and it was delicious, the pancakes are always a big hit with my daughter and she loves how you can choose all the fillings and toppings. We'll be back!

Ignorant staff and dirty cutlery, would not recommend.

Went on a Tuesday lunchtime. The place wasn't busy but I liked the thought of a freshly made smoothie and sandwich. Average looking interior and tables outside. About 6 staff behind the counter looking as if they were all in each other's way. Girl on the till took my order in silence, no "hello" or "what would you like?" and looked bored to tears throughout. No " please" or "thank you" from her either. The smoothie was fine as was the sandwich but I'm out of going back because of the total disinterest of the girl on the till. Maybe some customer service training would help.

Today I revisited with my friends- we all enjoyed our meals so thank you. I used to come all the time but then had a few bad experiences a few years ago. However after todays meal which was crepes I will definitely be returning 😄

I always enjoy eating at Qoozies their wholesome food is a wonderful treat.

We ordered a chicken salad, ice cream chocolate latte, smoothie, two cokes and the Jamaican chicken burger for £26 The Diet Coke orders arrived flat and warm, (and spilled on the table with no offer to clean up) which I can only assume came from a bottle that had been previously opened. They swiftly replaced with a can and fresh glass. The banana smoothie was artificially bright yellow and tasted as though there was no actual banana in it and the ice cream chocolate latte was tasteless with cheap chocolate sauce and sugar around the rim. The chicken salad was actually quite fresh although had packet bought chicken dumped on top. I could have bought a nicer salad from Morrisons for half the price to be honest. The Jamaican burger and carrot fries were soggy and tasted like it had been prepared a few days earlier and heated up in a microwave. There was no texture to the burger and other than the cheap and nasty chilli sauce that I could taste that tasted like the one from the range in a jumbo pack it was completely tasteless and lacked flavour. The woman that served us at the till looked like her entire family had just died that day and was the most miserable and unenthusiastic person I have ever met. Overall this was a bad experience and we will not eat there again. The food was nasty and really disappointing in our opinion.

This was a great find on a dreary day. We had the salad and it was lovely. Staff were all very friendly too. Just a shame we were only visiting the area, wish we had something like this closer to us.

This place has a great menu with many different choices, and the staff were very cheerful and helpful Bacon, onion chutney and cheese on sourdough, accompanied by a coffee, banana, almond and oat smoothie were two good choices for a tasty breakfast with a difference

Haven’t written a review in ages but this has prompted me to do so. Visited this place after seeing good reviews on line. Service friendly but food really, really poor to the point where we actually left it. When you order a sandwich /wrap you expect 1. It to be hot ( chicken/ cheese/ pesto) 2. Not swimming in liquid 3. With a complementary piece of greenery…. Sadly none of these standards were met. This has actually gone down as the worst sandwich ever. The food needs some love ❤️ The photo shows literally how it was served… a wrap on a plate ( serviette was to soak up liquid)

Lovely vegan breakfast, reasonably priced.

I expected so much more from a place that advertises good mood food... There's one vegetarian lunch sandwich option - how can you not even offer a cheese sandwich?! The Cadbury chocolate bar hot chocolates are just a hot chocolate with a chocolate bar in them. Double Deckers contain small balls so when it melts its like drinking frog spawn. And don't get me started on the pancakes - £5.45 for a single pancake wrapped around some filling?! Are you kidding me?? Staff need to be taught how wear their masks too - if it's under your nose or chin then you may as well not bother I will not be returning.

Me and a friend had seen the Halloween milkshake … they were calling it the ‘bleeding brain’ and the green pancakes (‘Hallo-green pancake) advertised on Instagram and they looked AMAZING! We messaged them through both the insta page and WhatsApp to get booked in and they replied super quickly. The staff are super friendly and it’s perfect to nip in with friends or for a family trip. The menu had both a mixture of healthy things (the burgers aren’t your typical bread-it’s egg I think?) and the fries are replaced with carrot fries. There is of course the classical unhealthy options of pancakes and a huge selection of cakes. -everything’s made on the spot and you can see all the ingredients behind the counter which I think is great! It’s really decorative on the inside so perfect for pictures. The only down side I’d say is by the time you’ve ordered a lunch item and a milkshake it’s quite pricey.. about £13-15 for one person and I didn’t see any deals or discounts in any way, just ‘upgrade’ options which quickly stack up. The actual milkshake looked amazing though and you could choose between a huge range of toppings for the pancake.

Friendly staff and child and wheelchair friendly. Great shakes end nice coffee. After wandering the town in search of the right cafe for 6 adults (one in a wheelchair) and three young children, we found it!

Love this place,the staff are friendly, the food and drinks are always amazing.

Inept waiting staff. Three attempts to get order correct and then it was still wrong (had lost the will to live by this stage so did not complain). Coffee had as much in saucer than in cup. Fruit juice spilt on table when served with no attempt to clean up. Food decidedly average. Underwhelming experience with more staff training needed (appreciate that we are in difficult time ... but !!! ).

Well worth a visit i had a nice capuchino coffee the service was very good and friendly will call in again.
