Absolutely amazing night as always here. Best place to go in town. No divvys there always a proper vibe and just the place to be. Live music is unreal all the singers are brilliant get the night going. Would HIGHLY recommend this place always not just for pre drinks either it’s the type of place you go & never want to the night to end. Only bad thing is they should be open for longer !!!

Great Spot - We watched the football here and had a good laugh. The beer wasn't the best and the soda taste bad but overall it was a good place to settle in once other venues around had closed

We took our children here for a morning out. Had a great time in there until we attempted to buy food and drink for the family. We only had cash on us and this was REFUSED. To be cashless is a disgrace. I for one will never return while it’s cashless.

Nice pub based in the Baltic and connected to arcains. Been wanting to try here for a while. The staff were nice and so were the drinks. It was a nice quiet atmosphere on a Thursday evening.

Great spot for lovely beer. Staff were really helpful as we were a little lost visiting. Would definitely recommend coming by for the friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Good place really decent pint Guinness 😊👍But sadly they don't except cash , which is bloody disgraceful as not everyone has smart phones or credit cards

please god tell them to go light on the salt my chips were inedible (even if you like a lot of salt i promise you you'd be better of eating the salt straight from the packet). I'm convinced these chips could send me into cardiac arrest and nobody would notice if I did because of how dimly lit our table was. Also the coke tastes off-brand and everything was drowned in sauce. I wasn't expecting much but spending £15 on this burger alone is a spit in the face.

Tilly was an excellent host for our stag, great open venue and accommodating for our booking of over 30 lads. Would definitely recommend.

We went to go watch Eurovision, got there at 5 to get a table and for 3 hours we could barely talk to each other as the DJ was deafening. So eventually it comes time to watch the show, and you could barely hear it. Considering how loud it was for the 3 hours before I can't comprehend how it was so quiet during the actual show. Complete waste of time.

Absolutely flapped it when eurovision was supposed to be on, we waited hours then they turned the volume down to 2 and gave no updates (also so many people do "coke" in the toilets) avoid if you don't want to be stabbed.

Absolutely disappointing for events - avoid After being near deafened for 3hrs waiting for eurovision, they put the final on and the sound was ridiculously low and poor quality. I'd recommend if you want to have any type of event, you go literally anywhere else

Fantastic place with some original features of the old brewery, friendly staff and tasty food

The place is vast! Great atmosphere, friendly and lots of screens and comfy seats to watch sports. The food is terrible though, really don't bother - £18 for a plate of chips with a couple of sauces and some dodgy coleslaw. They are meant to be 'loaded' but there was barely a drizzle of the 3-bean chili.

Made the mistake of going here for our tea, this place shouldn't serve food, its terrible and the live music was too loud, would have been more chilled at a motor head concert, will not be going there again

My twin brother Stephen and I were exploring around the wonderful Baltic Triangle District ,been here many times over the years ,always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. This is a huge Irish pub ,interior is superb ,multiple serving bars exposed brickwork ,eclectic decor and furnishings ,big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options in this busy and bustling huge Irish pub. We were here on a Friday afternoon ,we ordered a guinness each ,these were poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our guinness. My guinness was really good ,a thick,creamy and most importantly freezing cold guinness bursting with taste and just so easy to drink,it was just so good being in such a great pub enjoying a quality guinness and sat with my twin brother Stephen. We really enjoyed our guinness in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a wonderful time. Punch Tarmeys Pub is easy to locate along Grafton Street in Cains Brewery Village. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday,midday till midnight. Friday & Saturday,midday till 2am. Sunday,midday till midnight. Well worth checking out if you're wandering around the Baltic Triangle District.

Punch Tarmey's is a massive Irish pub thats located in the Cains Brewery Village and is a superb pub to watch live sport.They offer a superb food and drink's range and is in a brilliant area of the city centre where there are many interesting places to visit. There are three Punch Tarmey's and of the three we have visited this is the best Punch Tarmey's we have been to.This is a massive multi-roomed pub with brilliant fixtures and features relating to Ireland and TV screens throughout the whole interior and plenty of good seating options. This excellent Irish pub takes its name from the owners great grandfather Micheal who emigrated to Liverpool around 1902 where he became a bare knuckle fighter and was a champion in this sport and was known as Micheal"Punch"Tarmey. We visited here in the afternoon and it was very busy but theres never have a problem in finding a table.When we visited we had a few glasses of Guinness which were served in perfect condition and where well priced especially for an Irish pub.This is a brilliant pub in an excellent area and is easy to get to from Greenland street bus stop its a few minute's walk away.(This is my 3rd review of Punch Tarmey's Liverpool). Converted brewery. Really great atmosphere for the rugby, followed by live music. Room next to entrance doors freezing cold though.

Need to update opening hours. Turned up at 11am on St Patricks day only to be told they don't open until noon.

What a great pub. Didn't eat on this occasion but we will next time. Everybody was friendly and helpful.

I have been going to Punch Tarmeys for a little while now and the food was always okay, typical pub grub, but nothing to write home about. Recently though the menu seems to have had a change and they have really focused on a few key items, burgers, wings etc and it's all praise from me. I had their cheeseburger and it's definitely in my top 5 burgers. Definitely recommended.

Nice open venue with good seating. Staff are friendly and professional which helps keeps waiting times down. Worth trying out. Food is good if a little expensive and kitchen seems to close a little earlier than expected.

Not enough staff on for a December evening, 15-20 mins to get served. When more staff did arrive most people had left

We arrived before 5pm on 25/11 for a few drinks before eating. There were menus on the tables. Sign said 'food from 3pm'. Staff were aware we planned to eat. Went to order around 7pm to be told kitchen closing at 7. Asked for explanation of why nobody told us only to be met by abuse and general rudeness from the bargirl. Asked to speak to a manager (young guy) only to be met by more rudeness and unpleasantness and asked to leave! We were 4 guys in our 60s, certainly not looking for any trouble. Staff obviously not best suited to working in hospitality. Shame, as it seemed a very nice place. Fortunately the experience did not spoil a very enjoyable visit to Liverpool

**Bring ear plugs Nice bar but the music defending, everytime I've been. You can't hear yourself think and can't hold any kind of normal conversation. If it wasn't for that it would be a great bar. Our group 10+ would have stayed all night if not for this. Your ears actually feel realeaved when you leave.

In a bizarre experience we visited this place and took a seat. After choosing our order I approached two members of staff at the bar and told one of them our choice. ‘What table are you?’ He asked. The table was right by the bar. I pointed to my companions at the table and said ‘That one’, which they knew anyway. ‘You have to tell us the number’ they both said. I was obviously expected to walk the 3 metres to the table and back, even though they obviously knew what table it was. I didn’t want to eat in a place with such a horrid attitude so we left.

Great beer and very friendly atmosphere and service. Also good to watch a game. Many screens here so its easy to find a seat with a good view. Cant speak about the food as we did not have any.

Food was ok when it arrived and despite being in boxes still tasted nice only let down was quite pricey and drinks very expensive even soft drinks costly

Left waiting almost an hour for the worst fish and chips I have ever had. The fish was a glorified fish finger from a frozen pack probably from Iceland. The chunky chips were thin and awful. The mushy peas were cold. A really small meal packed in a tiny cardboard box for £9 - outrageous!! I'd give zero stars if I could.

Waited 55 minutes in a dead restaurant just to spend 9 pounds on chilly that didn't even cover a box the size of my hand. Bar staff didn't believe the fact that we didn't get our drinks even though there weren't even any cups on our table. If I could I'd give a 0 star, just a massive scam.

Group of us couldn't get in before 11pm on a Friday night. Doorman said they were shut?? Very odd.

Lovely staff behind the bar, waiting staff very rude. We complained about food and waitress acted like it was our fault that their food is terrible. Will not be eating here again. Chicken pie could not be cut, shepherd's pie was 95% potato, even the cabbage was tough.

Starting to become an old smelly bar, not that it is a bad thing. Spider in my glass was rather unnerving. Not sure why the games can't be for kids and they have to have an adult when you can't drink alcohol in there???

The arcade is good, but holy moly it's a hell of a surprise when they tell you it's £18 per person to get in. It's worth £10 for sure, but no way is it worth this much. A ver sneaky and unpleasant surprise

Absolute joke of a place! Food was cold and all they did was microwave it and send it back out. If I wanted cold food I’d of ordered ice cream! Then only to be told they don’t do refunds, it’s the managers instructions. No where on the menu did it say cold chicken burger. This was all after we waited over an hour for the food. Eventually got a refund but they had to speak to the owner apparently. Highly discourage people to go there for food! It’s quicker to go tesco and get a microwave meal if you up for that.
