Priscilla's Pantry in Gravesham

Popped in after getting my vaccine at the Woodville for brunch and had a wonderful avocado and feta on sourdough and great coffee. Efficient, friendly service in a lovely environment. Will definitely try and come back more often when in town.

This was the 2nd time I had ordered Afternoon Tea for a special occasion during lockdown and I have not been disappointed.This occasion I also requested a chocolate birthday cake for my husband and all I can say is wow! Absolutely amazing. Customer service first class along with the food. There were more sandwiches but we couldn't wait.Thank you Priscilla Pantry for making two lockdown birthdays special.

I can't wait for The Pantry to open it's doors again, a really lovely cafe. During lockdown I had a baby shower cake made (just for our immediate family) and it tasted and looked incredible, everything I wanted. Thank you so much

The Pantry has always been one of my favourite places to visit, but just wanted to review what an EXCELLENT service the team are providing through lockdown. My daughter was delighted with her Christmas Eve box, everything was delicious (I had to try, even though it was for my daughter) and presented beautifully. I have had celebration cakes from the Pantry previously and can’t wait to order more soon also. The service is always so personable and delivered with a smile- something you just don’t get with bigger businesses. I also think it is fantastic they have been able to adapt through all of the lockdown restrictions to still enable us all to enjoy afternoon teas and cakes! Love to see on their Instagram that they have been getting donations and making lunches and teas for frontline workers- what a great cause. Can’t wait till we can visit again (hopefully) soon!

We were extremely disappointed in the customer service we received on Saturday from The Pantry, a place of which we have always been fond of and recommended to friends and family. I ordered an afternoon tea and was asked to collect from the Pantry at 11.30am. Upon checking my phone at 11.15am I had a message saying that it was ready early and that they were leaving at 11.30pm. I messaged to say I would be there just after 11.30pm to which the Pantry responded in a passive aggressive manner to say that they were still leaving at 11.30am so would see me then. I did not appreciate the tone of the messages which came across very sarcastic and rude. Having two kids under three and without childcare during lockdown, I thought that being there 5 mins late to collect a £50 order would be more than understandable. I got there to collect a few minutes early and was greeted by the manager who was extremely rude and explained that they had 90 boxes to unpack. There was me thinking that customer service would be more important! Especially during these uncertain times...The food is good but the customer service was awful. I will be spending my money elsewhere!

Called with a very special request. The owner went out of her way and made my other half feel really special, plus great coffee! Amazing service above and beyond, a very special place, can't thank you enough.

Visited today for lunch had sandwiches + drinks. These were lovely very fresh bread and lovely fillings served with salad crisps and coleslaw. The coffee was also very good. Service was good the place is clean bright and cosy. Recomend you go and try.

Wide selection of cakes to choose from, and a variety of teas available to. The decor is very quirky and staff very friendly. However I have only given it 4 stars as I think it is a little overpriced. If the prices dropped by around 50p an item this will be far more reasonable. I will visit again but with 3 kids, a family of 5 cost us around £35, and a lunch at the beefeater would cost around £40. So this will be somewhere we visit for a treat.

Quick google search for a cafe to grab something for lunch with my wife. After a few 'greasy spoons' came up in the search we started to think we may have to go elsewhere when we stumbled across The Pantry as it was listed online. Clean,smart with lovely friendly staff and excellent choices on the menu. We both had avocado on sourdough toast with poached eggs and ordered some bacon too to go with our coffees. The cakes were too good to ignore so we bravely managed some of them too!Everything was delicious and again I can't Express how friendly the staff were. The pantry was a real find and we will certainly visit again.Fantastic

Have been using this cafe for over a year taking different members of my family and they all love it. The staff are really friendly, it's not too noisy and the food is fab. Always feel good when you walk out this cafe.

I dropped in for coffee today and had a slice of their delicious Blueberry and cinnamon cake. The coffee is very good and the cafe is bright and welcoming, will definitely call again

Booked for an afternoon tea here !Was greeted warmly and shown to our table !!we had large pot of tea and our food came out the sandwiches were nice although an unusual choice with chicken and avocado filling ?The cakes were lovely ,there was a lemon drizzle to die for ,Victoria sponge which melted in the mouth ,macaroons and dipped strawberries plus the obligatory scone,jam and cream again lovely!!

Absolutely love this place. Fourth time I've been here and it's now my go to place for treating family and friends. The food is consistently delicious and the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and are very accommodating. This was a perfect place to have a mini celebration of a friend's retirement, especially as you can bring your own Prosecco with the necessary glasses. So glad I booked as we were a party of five and there's only one large table. Would thoroughly recommend.

Delicious light lunches, a good variety of sandwiches and very scrummy cakes. Tea served in teapots as well!

Googled glutten free cafes gravesend this one came up large car park opposite to park & few minutes walk to town ,on entrance ask if they do gf they do yummy sandwiches pouched egg on gf toast gf scones & cakes even had gf crisp well impressed I had a gf tuna sandwich with cripsome salad & coleslaw staff double checked if I was OK with the vinegar they used as can effect gf food was yummy so was cake cafe lovely & clean sandwiches all made fresh

Was in the area and was really fancying a coffee, I always try and go to independents and have been here a few times. The coffee is always good the best in Gravesend I would say. The cakes ain't bad either.

I've visited Priscilla's about half a dozen times since the new ownership. I am so pleased that the catering standard has been maintained and the menu enhanced. Service is friendly, attentive and prompt. The decor is lovely and quaint ...adding to the pleasant atmosphere.

I booked Priscilla's Pantry for an afternoon Tea for 20 people. The service was brilliant and the staff were all so friendly! They let us go in early to put up party decorations and kept refilling our drinks as needed. The food was lovely and they were happy to accommodate a guest

I won a voucher for an afternoon tea for 2 at a local fundraiser and decided to take my mother. We had such a lovely relaxed time we have returned multiple times with various family members and friends. Lovely food, amazing cakes and everything is tastes fresh! The women who run the pantry have put alot of effort into their business and should be very proud of themselves. Nothing but smiles, great service and chitchat I would 100% recommend

This place is just great - I always come back most months for lunch with a friend, or to grab a take away on a busy work day. Friendly, happy and proud team serve delicious cake and coffee - my fave is the New Yorker on a bagel with a flat white!

Fantastic as ever, happy returning customer who accommodate my gluten free sister easily too. Lovely decor, layout, comfortable too. Food is delicious. Had a new Yorker salt beef sandwich and cream tea and a couple of hours chatting to my sister. Highly recommended

I booked a champagne breakfast tea for the morning of my friends hen do and the staff were brilliant. They let me go in early to put a a few decorations by the table and we were waited on hand and foot! There was so much food and it was delicious. The bride to be had such a good time, could not fault the staff in any way.

I quite often meet team members here for training and a catch up and it is such a lovely place to do that.

I’ve been going to Pricilla’s for quite a while now, alone, with friends and with my children. The food is always so tasty, my friend and I have a caramelised onion and chees toastie addiction now (thanks for that ladies!!) and the cakes, oh my goodness, what a treat! Courgette and lime is my personal favourite.

We have just held a club Christmas Tea at Priscilla's Pantry and it was excellent. The staff were really helpful and produced a first rate spread. There was plenty of food and delicious cakes.strongly recommend this place if you want to hold an event. It isn't a particularly big tea shop but held 34 of us comfortably

Lovely staff, Had Gluten free options inc. cake And bread and catered for vegan needs without any fuss. I had the winter budda Bowl and it was divine, I cannot wait to go back and try their infamous soup which was sold out due to popular demand!

Dropped in my son for a quick coffee and breakfast and then ovb's the amazing cakes!!! Never get tired with the different flavours and textures of there cakes. I will definitely get my birthday cake from there again.

I can not fault this place, the staff are super friendly and the food is just amazing. They always have new and intersting flavours and food to tase and the dribks are of such a top standard. The price is great! You can pay over double for this quality up in London.

We’ve only just found this place, and it’s our new favourite. A little gem opposite the parrock st car park, so not the prettiest location but makes up in convenience and interior. Great ambiance/decor, clean and comfortable, yummy food and friendly staff. Cakes are delicious. Poached egg and avocado on toast was spot on. Minor criticism is quite a limited / unique menu otherwise 5/5. (traditional fillings such as egg mayo and tuna mayo would be a welcome addition).

Been driving past this place in Parrock St for a while meaning to visit but never getting around to it, My wife mentioned she picked up a Buddha Bowl for lunch here and said it was delicious and how about we go in for brunch one Saturday, so we did.

Had a fantastic brunch, salmon and poached eggs on a toasted bagel. Great coffee. Staff friendly and a nice surroundings. Will visit again soon.

Visited here last money and almost try and visit every other month, the staff is always happy to help and very welcoming! Always doing their best to cater for my fussy needs and succeeding every time!

I asked Priscilla’s Pantry to make a cake for my girlfriends birthday and it was amazing! Really friendly service and very quick. Plus the caked looked so cool and tasted even better. We ordered the Courgette & Lime cake and it was genuinely the best cake we’ve tasted. Couldn’t recommend these guys enough and will definitely be regular visitors!

Been here a few times, there is new owners who have been there a year now and the place has gone from strength to strength. The sandwiches are really good with fresh bread and nice little touches. I took my mum for Mother's Day and it was the we have had.

We stopped here purely on chance as we wanted a bite to eat before heading on our way.

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly service. Order slightly wrong but very apologetic and offered to change. Close to Parrock St carpark which offers 2 hours free parking on a Saturday. Will visit again to try more of the menu.

I have visited this place so many times and just keep going back. Its the perfect place for a quick stop off for lunch or spending an afternoon with friends over the afternoon tea selections! I have been to baby showers, hen parties and kids and adult parties here and it is just so accommodating. You can hire out for a party and have the birthday cake made here also. Its definitely the best on stop shop for an event.

DO NOT MISS this fantastic little tearoom - best find in Gravesend and once you step through the door you will not be disappointed. Loads of enthusiasm, fantastic food and great staff - this gem of a place can only get better and the owners have so many plans for the future.

Had a lovely lunch here with a couple of friends and couldn't fault it at all but as we left not a pretty street with drunken yobs sat on wall of off license next door not budging for no one I'm sure if this wasn't there it would be a gold mine and lovely staff too

Visitamos varias veces en el último mes con amigos y disfrutamos cada ocasión! El lugar es acogedor y el entorno justo para el té de la tarde con las chicas! Las mujeres son amables y el servicio es rápido. Las teteras y tazas bastante floral y platillos simplemente añadir el toque final! Lo recomiendo encarecidamente el lime y los calabacines tarta - delicioso! !

Pero la comida era fantástico menú genial. Teníamos un pedazo de pan con rodajas de aguacate y huevos escalfados. La tostada era sólo un pedazo de pan normal en lugar de un buen pedazo de pan recién cortada, etc. luego daremos I. e teníamos media aguacate en rodajas, pero no había llegado el avo y es bastante difícil. Esta fue la de arriba con sólo 1 huevos escalfados que había sido hecho en el microondas! No era buena y yo tuve que enviar la primera vuelta ya estaba cruda. Sólo un huevo no fue suficiente y nos dejaban con una masa de aguacate y tostadas. Fue perdiendo el tocino o salmón ahumado.

I was invited to Priscilla's for a 30th birthday party afternoon tea for a family member I was amazed with our lovely and friendly the staff was. The cream tea was fabulously presented and extremely tasty and I can't wait for my return visit.

Fuimos aquí como un montón de amigos habían dicho lo agradable que era. Mi marido tenía un plowmans y l tenía una carne y un sándwich rábano. Teníamos una taza de té por 2. Las tazas eran pequeñas. Cuando pedimos la factura era de 5 p corto de 15 libras! Creo que estás pagando por la decoración más que otra cosa. Podríamos haber ido a Wetherspoons y nos dieron 2 comidas por £7.95 . no volveremos.

We go here for lunch and we are always welcomed the food is always lovely and the cakes are exceptional! the owner(i think) is always pleasent and polite. There is also a fairy like area set up fpr children- well worth a visit!

Reading reviews we had a trip and did enjoy what we had a lunch time tea coffe and assortment of deserts and can't complain about any of it but the overall cost was extortionate and I do understand running costs etc but I have had cheaper in harrods I think if prices were lowered and standards kept up this place wil last forever

Had a couple of visits and all seems pretty good but it really is expensive for what you get all the staff seem pleasent but for coffees and a few cakes for a big appetite couple it's just too much to pay well over £10 sorry in bluewater I understand but not Gravesend

We had lunch here today. What a great experience.We had freshly made tea/coffee and sandwiches. It could not have been better.This was our first visit and it will not be our last.The walls were covered in local artists' work which was for sale.There was a children's party going on. The children had 'tea' with their own little crockery and then decorated cupcakes and the box to take the cake home in. A welcome change from the many coffee shops in the town too.

I popped into Priscilla's Pantry today with my daughter in her pram as I was in need of somewhere to feed her before she had a complete meltdown. A lady who I assume was the proprietor directed me to a seat, sorted me out with a lovely pot of tea and even gave me a slice of delicious chocolate cake on the house as she could see that I was at the end of my tether.Not only were the tea and cake utterly delicious and the surroundings relaxing and beautiful but the wonderful lady who looked after me was so caring and empathetic that she totally restored my faith in humanity.Thank you so very much, Priscilla's Pantry has just gained a customer for life and I shall be returning with my mum in the near future to try one of your sandwiches and a scone which both looked lovely.

Came here for afternoon tea for my birthday treat with family & my 6 year old niece. I'd highly recommend it ! Delicious sandwiches-blt,cheese & ale chutney,ham & ginger chutney. Nice to have something different. The bread was so fresh. Scones were AMAZING. Perfect presentation & lovely china teacups. Place is relaxing & very clean. There are toadstools & colouring to keep little ones entertained-my niece was made to feel very special & had her own afternoon tea stand & teapot with pink lemonade in. Due to commitments i was restricted on time there so could only arrive an hour before closing. Not once were we rushed or felt that it was nearly time to leave. We were all made to feel very welcome.They cater for vegetarians & gluten free. I'd highly recommend anyone to try it. Will definately return & would like to sample the lunch menu soon!

Lovely vintage tearoom, worth getting drenched in torrential rain for. Lovely lady, lovely yummy sandwiches and cake, decor lovely with attention to detail, will definately visit again when that way again

Love this little gem in gravesend. Beautifully decorated, pretty tables and painted chairs with little sayings on them. Lovely t cups and plates all exceptionally clean. Food is amazing cakes all home made and sandwiches made to order. Service with a smile from the owner and nothing is to much trouble. Really good value for money , the little childrens area with its toadstools and colouring books is a real hit for the kids.. Will defiantly be recommending it to all my friends and will be making it a regular place to visit when in gravesend..

We have been going to Priscilla's for some time now and the food is always excellent and all homemade. The salt beef sandwich is superb!. My choice is the delicious selection of home made cakes available along with a good selection of teas. This is a little gem in Gravesend which has a shortage of good cafe/tea rooms. The owner is always very friendly and helpful and I even had a birthday cake made for a member of the family a few months ago which was delicious. The décor is very welcoming and everything is spotlessly clean and fresh. Prices are same range of any other good café which serves excellent food.

Lovely little cafe in gravesend, once through the door & into the cafe there is quiet alot of space but at the front were the sofa are you cannot fit a buggy or a wheelchair. & it is a slight squeeze to get the buggys in. Serves lovely cakes & nice lunch. Prices are no higher than costa coffee or other leading chains. But you get what you pay for & the food & drink is good! Will defo return

As we were the only customers in the cafe I suspect others also find the prices too high for a coffee and cake. This is a shame as the owners have put a lot of effort into making the place look adorable

It was the first time I have visited this lovely tea room. A friend of mine was here from Gurnsey,so as I had been rcommended to this tea shop we decided to go there this afternoon, it was wonderful. It is something we needed here in Gravesend, and I can say it was well worth the visit

The owner is very friendly and helpful.The place is very traditional and very charming!!!!The food is amazing! It is home cooked and the stuff will do their best to customise any dishes. Though I never tried sweets but they look very nice. But the sandwiches and breakfast are the best I've aver tried.

It's not that well advertised which is a shame as I'm sure once you've been once you'll definitely want to keep going back!
