Primo Caffe in Bromley

In the spirit of supporting local restaurants etc. I lockdown (and not just because I'm too lazy to cook, lol), we discovered this place. Have ordered twice, to date. The food is fantastic. Delivered hot. Paninis are out of this world, full of flavour. And the Arancini were scrummy. We ordered frappes, and they were better than some high street names.Looking forward to visiting in real life (although going by the reviews here, I wonder whether they'll be room).

I called on Tuesday 10:07 to order Pizza the girl answered the phone and asked me to wait a minute, another girl took over the phone and took my order and asked when i would like pizza to be delivered and I told as soon as possible, then after one hour I did phoned and asked where is myuu Pizza i was told that they do not have any delivery drivers until 12 and that my pizza will be delivered by 12:15, the problem was that I was not informed about this at all and the girl did even say sorry for not letting me know it was like I had to know that and basically I had to wait more than 2 hours for the pizza

Having visited here many times now and sitting at home in lockdown, thought I’d give another mention to the lovely food and service that I always receive when eating at this establishment. My final visit pre Covid-19 saw me enjoy a tuna salad followed by toast3d panettone and a nice cup of strong Black Americano. Needless to say I thoroughly enjoyed this and found it to be very tasty! I have always found staff and Management to be very attentive, accommodating, polite and prompt. Looking forward to returning again when able to and would recommend you do the same.

The coffee is really good, the food is tasty, the atmosphere is warm and buzzing and you're served by lovely girls. What more do you want?!

Lovely place to meet friends. Excellent pot of tea served in lovely china pots and matching cups. Food was excellent, staff friendly and attentive. Very busy but didn’t affect service or quality

Great lively atmosphere and you feel children are welcome here. Friendly service. You can go with friends and also alone without feeling uncomfortable. Great for a snack or lunch

Great food, great service and very good value. The Mushroom and mozzarella arancini is to die for. Our kids love the very generous pasta dishes too :-)

First visit today and enjoyed great paninis, cake and exemplary service! My disabled husband was easily able to enter via the slope and with toilets being key for us, happy to say they were good too but need rails / bars but ample space. Great vibe here! Can't say enough about the fabulous service !

Light, airy, vibrant and busy café in central West Wickham offering a range of hot and cold Italian buffet Items – pasta, lasagne, vegetarian. We foolishly opted for non-Italian jacket potatoes. I was warned off the delicious sounding Spinach-Chicken-Bacon topping being very spicy with chilli oil, and no option of having it without the oil, so we both chose the Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable topping, which was delicious. The only problem was that the potatoes were on the hard side, not well cooked and deliciously soft and crumbly. We did mention this afterwards and were told we should have sent them back, but we we’d both felt really hungry and had already had a long wait for our food and did not want to have a further wait. Otherwise, despite being on the noisy side, a very good quick lunch venue, friendly cheerful service and everything very fresh.

I had no idea that this place was there and I'm so sorry I missed it before. I only popped in for a coffee, but found so much more. The service was excellent, coffee delicious and the choice for lunch and made me add it to my list of possible venues for a ladies lunch. It backs onto the car park which is handy, but also I noticed a small seating area outside, which must be pleasant in the summer months. I will definitely be returning,

Returned here again as this is one of my favourite independent coffee houses/cafe and do not go anywhere else. Enjoyed a lovely strong coffee together with a large slice of special Christmas panettone. Lovely warm atmosphere as was busy but not overbearing or loud . Staff were as always polite, prompt and friendly. Menu has recently been extended and also now includes additional Christmas food choices so well worth a visit.

Met my niece here for lunch as she lives locally. There was a lovely atmosphere, lot of happy chatting from the clientele. I ordered a goats cheese salad which wasn’t actually on the menu but they accepted my order and it was one of the best ones I have eaten. The staff are very friendly and helpful, a lovely place for lunch and reasonable too.

My friend took me here for lunch as she is local. I can honestly say I had the best panini ever! Everything about the cafe is lovely; the decor, the quality and presentation of the food, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The whole experience was excellent. So much so that I’ve been back twice since then! My only criticism is that it’s quite a way from where I live, so you need to open another in Blackheath!! I will keep coming back though I love it.

I’ve been here around 10 times and never been disappointed. Coffee and food are not good and reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Plenty of space so I’ve always been able to get a seat.

Returned here for a quick coffee and homemade banana pancakes with fruit, both of which as ever were served promptly, hot and tasty. This venue is easily the best in the area. Has a great menu with many homemade authentic Italian dishes. It is testament to how popular this lovely eatery is and why it is much busier than all the other similar establishments in the High Street. I only visit here when visiting and have never been disappointed.

We go to Primo’s often. The food is excellent and the price reasonable. It’s always busy so has a great buzzy atmosphere....if you want a quiet lunch then this isn’t the place, it you want hot, tasty food, great service and buzz then this fits the bill perfectly.

Just the best place in west Wickham - head and shoulders above the rest. Always busy, but not too busy as we always get a table. Coffee is perfect! All in all such good value for money. Must go and see for yourself.

My friend introduced me to her new ‘find’ and brought me here. What a great place. It’s a true Italian cafe and is so buzzy and lively. The staff are just wonderful, the coffee is gorgeous and the Italian cakes are scrummy. The hot food looked amazing too. We had lunch here and the food is utterly delicious and do reasonably priced and such good value. The amount of people who were in the cafe is a testament to how popular this cafe has become in a very short space of time. There is outside seating for a lovely sunny day and you can have beer and wine with your meal if you like. Absolutely my favourite cafe in West Wickham.

As a family we go here often, the food is great, good prices and always friendly smiling staff. I can't recommend Primo enough. Thank you for opening in West Wickham!

We go here for coffee and pastry most days as it is always welcoming and the staff always friendly and the boss is hands on and is always checking everyone is happy.The choice of food is fresh and plentiful and most inviting.

This is the most comfortable, light and pleasant place for coffee and lunch in the whole Bromley area. You order at the counter, which is full of freshly baked pastries and fresh homemade artisan sandwiches and beautiful Italian pasta dishes and salads that make your mouth water just looking at them. The staff are excellent. Friendly and provide very good service. I cannot fault anything about this place and their chairs are padded and very comfortable.

Now a regular here for lunch and am actually recognised b6 the Boss Giovanni for what I have and being a familiar face which is nice. The staff, service, food and atmosphere are some of the best that I have visited in the area and surrounding boroughs so congratulate everyone involved in working to achieve the experience that I always enjoy when visiting your establishment - thank you!

Whilst in primo cafe with my family we were amazed by the quality of food and service of the staff, in particular the mango drinks, which are much better than the ones served at Costa Coffee

Recommended by some friends to meet a friend of mine for a long overdue catch up. What can I say. Top value coffee and service. Obviously very popular with the locals as within 30 minutes from 0930 on a Sunday morning the whole place was buzzing. Good value and amazingly good fresh choices.

I’ve visited Primo Caffe several times - with family, friends and today fir the first time on my own. The food is always good, the service is excellent - the staff are super friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend 😊

I'd come here just for the food. It's delicious Italian food but served at fast food speed. I'll often pop in for a mini pizza and coffee and my son's the meatball pasta. All half prepared and displayed in front of you so you have a good idea of what your getting before it's cooked.

This is much more than just a café. The food is varied. From well filled paninis to excellent pasta dishes. Not just a coffee bar either. You can have wine or beer with your meal. Both options are good quality Italian offerings.

I went to Primo Cafe today with my friend and baby.

Me and the Mrs came here for breakfast and it’s perfect! Park in the car park behind for 90p an hour and you can walk straight in through the back. Beautiful rear garden split into two levels with a massive indoor seating area. We chose to sit out on the front terrace and people watch this morning.

Absolutely love coming here. Never had a bad experience in the last 10 months or so since visiting. Came with my Partner who hasn’t been before and she loved it too! Always found the food, staff, atmosphere, menu and prices to be excellent in each of their capacities and now visit with other friends regularly as a great place to meet. It’s no surprise to find this establishment to be busier than most others in the area. Would highly recommend to anybody who likes the experience above the usual High Street type barista come cafe venues. You will not be disappointed.

We visited this cafe yesterday for a late morning snack. First time there and we shall certainly be back. Good fast service and friendly staff. The food was very good as well. I am a bit of an officionado of parma ham and mozarella paninis and the Primo did not disappoint. Husband had goats cheese and vegetable panini and was delighted with it. Tea came served in a neat little teapot with milk and I understand that the cappucino was faultless too. We were so impressed with the place that we bought a bottle of hazlenut syrup to take home with us to make hazlenut coffee.

Popped in with my mum on a Saturday for a light lunch what can I say it was a surprise! Lovely friendly helpful staff great food and the prices are good too same price for two sandwiches and two coffees in Costa.we will be back. my mum had jacket potato with bacon and cheese and I had arancini with mushrooms and cheese inside delicious!!

I came here for early lunch with my husband. He had spaghetti and I had a panini. My husband said the spaghetti was tasteless and my panini was completely over priced. It cost 4:95 for salt beef which was 2 thin slices on panini bread which wasn’t toasted, with a stripe of English mustard in it. The panini was difficult to chew as it wasn’t warm and it was served with a small bowl of watery sauce which you could only eat by dipping the bread in, it was runny and couldn’t be eaten any other way. The accompanying salad was / lettuce leaves. We won’t be returning or recommending this place.

Came here today for lunch with family, the staff were extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this to anyone.

This is the 4th time I have visited the cafe with my family. The food is amazing. My kids love the pasta and panninis. The prices are very good for such good quality food. The staff are attentive and the food always comes very quickly.

Just visited this lovely cafe on the High Street with convenient car park immediately behind the venue. A wide range of food is offered with something for everyone. We had lunch with choices of chilli with jacket potato, chilli with rice, quiche and salad and mine was chicken and avocado salad. Great portions and quality. Most expensive meal £5:95 so a real bargain. The atmosphere is lively , the seating comfortable and the staff are great with a real’ hands on’ boss Giovanni. Thank you for a lovely time

This is our favourite place to go for coffee, and their pasta, and filled ciabatta's, are wonderful. Since opening it's always packed, and it is often hard to find a seat. This family run restaurant is friendly, clean, efficient, with a great choice of excellent quality food at reasonable prices. Giovanni, certainly knows how to run his business, it runs in the family, his father, Egidio, was a great restaurateur, we ate at his lovely Italian restaurants often. The staff always seem to be happy, they have been trained well. The original Primo cafe is in Orpington, and I believe is run by Giovanni's sister Theresa, this too is a fabulous cafe.

This is a great addition to the many coffee shops in West Wickham. It really is authentic Italian. The coffees, food and staff are excellent. The owners have put a lot into ensuring that everything is good. Even small things like the welcome and politeness everybody receives.
