Prezzo - Windsor in Windsor and Maidenhead

Poor chicken bacon and avocado salad, obvious cost cutting hardly any bacon and no longer with bacon. Complained got an apology but nothing off the bill. Poor

Fantastic service from Neha! So lovely and attentive. Food was lovely and setting beautiful. The pizzas weee very tasty.

Took my two daughters and six young grandchildren aged 2 - 8 in Feb half term. Had fantastic service from our waiter Alfred who remained patient and polite throughout even though we were a noisy messy group. Food was great too.

Food was good.Service staff seemed less in number but they all were very accommodating . Very warm , service was quick . Was not so happy with food taste as I have experienced better ones in other prezzo’s.

We had a birthday party for a 7 year old last night. The staff were friendly and helpful, however the food was DISGUSTING! Chicken, and Chicken Burger was dry the sauce was bitter, although they changed it for a burger, it was exactly the same, its like the "chef" was off and he/she prepared everything the night before!!! Never eating at this rubbish restaurant again! Ended up at the McDonald's next door just so I could eat something!

One starter came out then the other 3 followed 9 minutes later. Side came out with starter. Just a bit amateur hour when paying well for pasta and pizza. Won't go again.

Tasteless pasta dish, chicken out of a cheap packet. Cannelloni dried in dish. Garlic bread at £6.50 smaller than a pitta bread and not a hint of garlic. Horribly overpriced and bad value even using Tesco vouchers. Last visit to these chains.

Ich hab Zöliakie und es gibt dort glutenfreie Pizza, Pasta und Risotto sowie weitere glutenfreie Speisen. Sie haben extra eine glutenfreie Karte. Ich habe die Pizza gut vertragen. Gerne wieder :)

Sack the cook !!!!sorry the food today 2/9/2023 Was so bad my 10 year old rated it as the worst food he has had eaten out !!!his pizza was undercooked and the chicken was a plastic meat my bruschetta was a piece of dough with half of Tesco cheap tasteless tomatoes slapped all over it ,I’m not a tourist that pays stupid prices for local food I’m a local that won’t be going back ever 50 pounds !!! 25 would of been a insult to the food industry. The food was bland and undercooked. Service was so slow and the staff were unattentive and more interested in their phones than doing their jobs. I'm not surprised with so many teenagers on shift.

The experience was ok, but staff needed some training in general customer service and delivery of food. Our main course was brought to us before we finished our starters or had the dirty plates taken away. The space itself was quite dark.

Food choice was good. All reasonable portions with good flavours. Staff were knowledgeable, if a little slow, particularly with drinks. Overall, a good experience, however, very expensive in my opinion.

Food was good. Starters came quite quickly and the mains didn’t take too long. Staff are friendly but very busy. Had to wait to be seated and took longer than expected for our order to be taken. Not the fault of the staff, it’s just they could have done with some extra help. Not been to a Prezzo in a while, but they used to do Peroni but now it isn’t on the menu so they suggest Poretti instead, which isn’t as nice.

Went a little wrong in my visit but they were more than willing to sort and make me leave feeling good about my visit! Il be back. The food I took with me was fabulous and friends food was good too apparently.

Food is very good, but service can be patchy, especially if a large group comes in. It also gets very loud when busy, as the room seems to act like an echo chamber.

£7.50 for a pint 🙄🙄🙄 come on i know you are just ripping tourist off. Granted business rates will be expensive on windsor high Street but this is day light robbery..... Don't go here as a big party until they sort themselves out. Food cold (went back to the kitchen 3 times). Half the party were forgotten about and had their food just under 2 hours after ordering. Expensive and poorly cooked. It's hard to get pasta wrong!!

Really poor. Was 4 of us. 2 couldn't eat their food it was that bad. They gave us discount but no atmosphere. Despite being quite busy. Honestly believe food would have been better at the Spoons a few doors up

The food was bloody awful. They may as well have microwaved a meal for me and poured salt over it. My sister had watery risotto with raw prawns.

Ellie and Thomas were amazing. Service with a smile and very welcoming which makes the food taste even more delicious. Had the lobster ravioli and dolce chilli pizza. Poretti goes great with dinner xx

Gone downhill- ordered a Pepsi which was never brought to the table but I was charged for it, when I questioned it the manager wasn't very happy about taking the item off my final bill she was rude

Amazing food, atmosphere and service. The food is gilling and the atmosphere is lovely. I forgot a personal item there and a staff member came running to return it back. Overall I highly recommend it.

The food was ok but nothing special, doesn't justify the high prices. They'd also run out of Peroni beer! On a more positive note the service was good and our waitress was very friendly and chatty. Great location opposite the castle but there are loads of other places to eat in Windsor so wouldn't bother coming back here again.

We went for an early evening meal, food arrived piping hot, every plate emptied but we were starving having walked around the castle and grounds. Our lovely waitress looked after us very well

Very small portions. Spent almost £30 and left feeling hungry. Total rip off.

If i could give 0 stars, i would. I ordered the penne arrabiata with chicken and even paid extra for grated cheese. Didn’t receive the chicken nor the cheese and the dish was pretty much just pasta and tomato sauce- was extremely disappointed. Also ordered the mozzarella dippers and I received 3 small cubes of breaded mozzarella with no dip even though it states it comes with a dip - again, very disappointing.

One of the best Italian Restaurants I've eaten at in the UK! Wonderfully varied and vibrant for vegetarians (not just the usual aubergine nonsense) and the Tiramisu was fantastic!

Booked a table for Valentines day for my wife and I but when we arrived 5 minutes early than our booked time we were greated with we only take cards and you only have have 90 minutes. It took them over 20 minutes to even take our order and it took a further 20 minutes to get our starter. In the end we went without having coffee as after the years we had been going there and had just paid £80 we were not very happy and will not be going back to the Windsor branch and will stick to Egham were we got better service 2 weeks earlier.

Great experience. We went to lunch with the family. There were a lot of people inside, but there was a nice atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed and got a nice seat at the end of the restaurant. The staff was amazing, especially our waiter 🙂 Didn't have to wait long for the food and everything was fresh and warm. All the time we had fantastic service, the waiter kept checking our table and asking if we were missing anything. We will definitely come back again.

Visited this restaurant for a quick brunch on a Sunday afternoon in early February. The restaurant was fairly busy but we received our food quite quickly. I had seabass with roasted vegetables which was all good but I just found it a bit unusual combination for my taste. My partner had Beef in Chianti with Porcini Mash which he really liked. Our food was brought to us hot and on pre-warmed plates. During our meal, we were asked by staff members a few times if everything was good with our meals.

Yet another delicious Prezzo meal. This is the fourth different Prezzo I have been to and they never fail to impress. I tried the new Beef Ragu starter aka little balls of heaven. Also...can i just say...Best pizzas ever!

I've given you 4 stars because you don't accept cash, and I think this is unacceptable. There is no sign to say it's by card only. What would happen if an elderly couple came with cash only and had no other way to pay? Apart from that food was nice, but very slow service and staff looked miserable and rushed off their feet.

There were 9 of us and we were able to bring forward the booking by 30 minutes which was great and we were seated and offered drinks promptly. The menu has a lot on offer, a really good choice along with the drinks menu. Our service was great, friendly and prompt. The food was excellent! The only downside was that it was expensive - after allowing for 10% service charge (which they deserved) the pizza was close to £20, £8 for a pint of Peroni and over £7 for non alcoholic beer! This is too much for a pizzeria. Overall we had a great time but the cost would put us off coming again

Having read some mixed reviews about this restaurant I was unsure to what experience we were going to have. I must say we were all pleasantly surprised in a good way. The starters were delicious, I would strongly recommend the calamari (best I’ve had for years) followed (for me) the Gorgonzola pizza, fabulous. Service was adequate. Clearly they are reacting to past negative comments, and working hard to improve. Certainly the quality of the food is very good.

Great food and service. Love it when Maria is here as she really is switched on and everything runs efficiently including great food. This was evident on our visit earlier in November for lunch. Thanks Gary Mander

Had a waiter called gosia absolutely horrible service would never come here again. She was unpleasant and also to other staff around her.

Family birthday on a Sunday lunchtime. All the staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The food was really nice too. One of the children at the table became unwell, (nothing to do with the restaurant food)! The man working was so professional and kind as was the lady later on, thank you to those staff especially.

We arrived few minutes before our booking...20mins waited for service no one came even to offer us even water ..The restaurant was not busy which annoyed us even more.. So we just left..

Very Accommodating staff with a customer 1st attitude. You are made to very welcome on arrival and throughout your meal. The service is great and compartments to the chef and kitchen staff. Great choice of menu

Walked in and we're seated almost striaght away, it was only 5pm though. It Looks like it can get pretty busyatwr so could be worth booking if you're after 6:30. Food was nice, we all had pizza and they were generous with he toppings.

Robin at Prezzo Windsor was an absolute star. Going above and beyond for all tables he served and working tirelessly in between so the restaurant was clean and welcoming. My best ever experience in any Prezzo. Robin I hope you are recognized for your hard work!

Great food service could improve

Brilliant service from one particular waiter. Worth his weight in gold (can't recall the name.....tall with glasses, worked the evening of the 3rd September). Would go back again in a heartbeat. Food was lovely and they were very child friendly. Five stars!!!

My mum visited with my autistic son. Unfortunately he had a massive melt down and the lady (I think the manager there) was so so rude and unhelpful. She offered no help what's so ever and made my mum feel like she shouldn't havnt taken my son there. He knocked the drinks over and she insisted my mum paid for them there and then which then prolonged my mum getting my son outside to calm down. My mum then asked if my daughters pizza was ready (to take it away with them) and her reply was 'how would I know, the kitchen is downstairs'. I fully understand it's not up to the member of staff to help my mum with my son but the member of staff had no understanding of the situation and just made my mum feel very unwelcome and upset.

visited and lovely staff but food service was appealing. we waited 40 minutes between starter and mains.

waited over 1 hour for our main course. Had to ask 3 times for a jug of water. Had to ask for cutlery when main course did arrive. 2 out of 5 items were not avaiable for the childrens desert menu. Overall very poor. Were offered some free drinks.

Visited with a large family group. Took over an hour to get food to the table. I really object to paying exorbitant prices for bland tasteless food served up like a school dinner. So disappointing.

Order delivery, arrived fast. I guess because they didn't bother microwaving the pizza for long as it was stone cold. This is spectacularly bad. When a salad is the best thing you get from a pizza place you have an issue ahahaha. Looking for a pizza hut or dominos to get something at least hot while the wife chucks this in the trash.

Absolutely awful - this brach let's the Prezzo brand down. Visited on a Sunday evening with my family, the staff that evening were hopeless. When the food did eventually come out, it was cold and not enjoyable. Really needs improvement.

We were disappointed this time with the menu as favourites had been removed. No risotto anymore and the different pasta dishes we had were full of chilli which overpowered the taste. Service was good and the children’s menu was well received.

Decent food and views of the Castle.

I was very amazed by the service that we were given with a family of 6 inc 2 children. They were very nice and patient. The food was really good as well and also had a nice air conditioned restaurant. Very helpful and nice clean toilets. They even provided an free extra dessert for the kids! Couldn't be happier and made our visit in Windsor so pleasant. Highly recommended! Thank you!

Not a nice eating environment, especially with spilt food on the wall that could easily be cleared up. With the prices they charge, you expect a lot better.

We visited Prezzo Windsor for two evening meals this weekend. We have three young kids but found the restaraunt to be family freindly. We were mainly served by Thomas who made lots of effort waiting on us and was very attentive. The other staff were...

Service was good but it doesn't make up for the lack of flavor in their food. Ordered the Spaghetti carbonara al forno and oak smoked salmon penne. It was brought out extremely quickly which gave me pause and as soon I tried it I knew why. It was microwaved and they didn't even season it at all. I had to add salt and pepper for the first time in my life eating at a restaurant. The salmon wasn't fresh at all. It tasted just like the Marks and Spencers cooked salmon you get packaged. It really was one of the worst pastas I've had. Such a shame, especially with those prices.

I had a lovely and delcious lunch there this past week. When leaving I was having an issue with my payment going through. The waiter ( Darek) was so helpful and patient. A situation that could have been handled totally different was handled so kindly. I love that this sort of customer service still exists today. The pizza was superb and if you can sit at the window :-)

Honestly, i usually trust Prezzo as a high street restaurant. But the Windsor one was truly shocking. I ordered a bruschetta, it came on a pizza base. And when i challenged it, the manager said it’s been the same since she’s worked there in January. I ordered a drink that never came … and our waitress said well i put it through but i don’t work on the bar. Shifting blame. Rude staff, slow service and i imagine the chef is just learning the ropes. Not worth the money. The only good thing was that there is a Wetherspoons next door.

Nicely designed restaurant right next to the castle, with different areas and some booths. We were disappointed to be stuck in what felt like an overflow room where one member of staff was having her break. Food was good as it generally is at all...

Nice restaurant, great location. Right outside Windsor Castle. Food was good, service was mixed as inexperienced waitress got order wrong. Management stepped in to sort out but order took too long to process. Hopefully staff training will help and I would still return. Parking available at 3 nearby car parks.

Food ok, but service atrocious. Resturant only a third full and we waited over half an hour for main course. One waitress busy talking, the other 2 hiding away, not wanting to face us. When I confronted them, they busily rushed to the kitchen and seemed to be cooking it themselves as it took a further 15 minutes to arrive. Apolagies and a free drink, but will not return.

Great location with the views of the castle in sight and all amenities in close proximity. Very accommodating, friendly and helpful to us as a family of 3 with a 3 year old. Sat us somewhere quiet and gave little one some colouring. Food and drinks were really good and fast service! We used a money voucher with no issues at all. To access the toilets you must be able to walk down some quite narrow and steep stairs..not sure if there was any alternative upstairs for disabled access as didn't look. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for both families and for couples.
