Prezzo - Spalding in South Holland

Saturday lunch for a birthday. Food and service was great, food fast to come and was perfectly spaced between starters and mains. Handmade soft drinks delicious. A very good dining experience.

Nice meal last night and friendly helpful staff

Not bad pricing, food took a long time to arrive, sat down at 6.30, food came and 7.45.

Very bad attention. Too long to take the order. They only have ONE person to serve. An accident happened at our table (our son spilled a juice on the floor) and no one showed up to help us. The same person who greets you is a waitress, cashier and cleaning staff. It's really a shame to see how people are exploited in such an expensive restaurant. Not to mention the food 👎 The pizza was NOT pizza, it was more of a crêpe. The dough is TOO thin and lack of ingredients!!! And on the kids menu my little one's pizza tasted weird. Anyone who loves pizza didn't even want to eat it.

Food was ok, not spectacular. Chicken, cabbage and potato was very simple, so expensive for what it was. Could have been made better. Atmosphere nice.

It was OK,small portions,and overpriced and overrated, just bareable because I was in good company. I shan't be rushing back any time soon.

Prezzos is convenient, centrally located and comfortable. The service is excellent and the food is fine. In fact, the pizzas are better than fine, they're really good. The drinks are a bit expensive and make the meal cost more than you feel it should but the overall experience is good and the staff are as cheerful and attentive as you could wish for. Never regret a Prezzos!

Fantastic food, staff and environment. We were served by David (or Dafydd). He was very on the ball and seemed to be really enjoying his job.

Lovely restaurant great food shame about the very poor service. WE booked for 5pm for a party of 10, we were their second customers but didn't get served food until 6.30pm. Chefs great and on time but food left on the pass waiting to go out even though waitresses passed several times. I believe the manageress was the lady with auburn hair,she was not setting an example to her staff, more swanning around and drinking coffee behind the bar.The only waitress who was using her own initiative and getting on with the job was a young girl called Marta, thank you to her. Prezzo need more like her if they are to continue, its sad to notice that their compatriots in Boston have closed ........i wonder why????

Great food, but service is very hit and miss, often slow to the point of the (very nice) food being cold.

The food is nice but expensive for what it is and it was very noisy in there, although that is not the fault of Prezzo, just noisy people who have to make themselves heard above others.

Was a lovely relaxing atmosphere, service was good not rushed, my food was so tasty and well presented.

We enjoyed a delicious meal with great service. It is a bit on the pricey side, but we enjoyed our meal.

It's a shame. We were lured in with the prospect of either a free prosecco or 2 desserts for my birthday. But if you go for this option, you can not use Tesco vouchers. The prices have gone right up, and to be honest, value isn't there, and service was a bit up its own. Shame, but from now on, we will stick to independent businesses that offer great value and great service.

A regular haunt of ours, excellent service, food and ambience. It has recently had a refurbishment so is all very fresh.

Popped in for lunch with my two noisy and restless kids and had a lovely meal and experience. Food was delicious and the service was excellent. As our waitress was busy with other tables her colleague came over to take our order so we didn’t have to wait which was a lovely show of teamwork. Food was prompt and prepared to a high standard and we were made to feel very welcome. A great place to eat. The staff are always brilliant and welcoming of family’s with children. I highly recommend Prezzo Spalding. Thank you.

Once a year reunion with friends, what can I say apart from Good food , good service , and a excellent manager who allowed us to sit and reminisce even though we had finished our meals here's to our next meet up there in 2024 ,so thanks again for your customer relationship skills till next year .

I cannot thank Magdalena and staff enough for their hospitality and understanding tonight. My wife has Alzheimer's, and is not always the easiest person to communicate with. However, Magdalena and Paula went above and beyond to make us both feel very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and even served a half portion of a dish to accommodate my wife's appetite. It was spot on interms of portion size and I had the same dish, full-sized; Spaghetti Carbonara with Chicken al forno! It was extremely delicious and I would definitely be visiting Prezzo of Spalding soon and hopefully repeat the experience.

Might be worth to know that it’s actually not 2 for 1 on summer cocktails if you have any other deal. I’ll be telling you this because they definitely won’t. What a nice waitress until we queried the bill to be told with a cold dead stare that it wasn’t possible. Very disappointing experience.

Food was good and arrived quickly. Service & drinks on the other hand were very slow. We order wine with our meal which after asking 4 times for our drinks still didn't arrive until after we'd eaten our food. By which time we didn't actually want it! Apauling service.

We went for a family birthday slow service on drinks we had too ask for the drinks which sat waiting on the bar for a while for a staff member to bring them over and some were forgotten.Food was good although again the staff didn’t seemed to know what they were doing.They never came and asked if the the meals were ok and we had to ask for more drinks.Had to ask for cutlery for starter they should known what cutlery is need for each course.we felt that they should be more organised.Than when it came to the bill they didn’t take cash which caused embarrassment to some family members.

My wife and I had a lovely meal here. The server was very nice and attentive the food was excellent. We are looking forward to our next visit. We were back today and the same as last time. Food is delicious.

I came here for lunch with my son the other day and paid a staggering amount for it. I had a salad, cranberry juice and bruschetta, whereas my seven year old ordered off the kids menu. It was £35 which was eye watering. Especially as my son's pizza was sadly mediocre and I did not enjoy my main. The bruschetta was divine, my favourite, but the salad was disappointing. I ordered caesar dressing instead of honey and mustard because I don't like mustard, and the dressing was absolutely full of mustard. It was overwhelming. Very disappointing that I wasn't told they'd changed the caesar dressing recipe at some point or that it was full of mustard when I remarked I don't like mustard. I ate it because I don't like food waste but did not enjoy it at all. The lady who served us was very friendly and polite, the toilets were sparkling and the atmosphere was lovely and calm. I'm just disappointed by the meal itself.

We had a very good dinner here. Well prepared, plentiful and served by friendly attentive staff. The Arancini, and chicken Marsala were excellent , better than expected. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday evening so a popular choice for locals in a town with limited options.

I will write it in Dutch because i am from the Netherlands. Het eten is er fantastisch en zo lekker echt hier moet je gewoon gegeten hebben en dat doe ik weer zodra ik in de buurt van Spalding ben. Goed en zeer vriendelijk mensen en de service staat hier hoog in het vaandel top!!!

As long as you use a discount card the whole experience is good value otherwise it's expensive for slightly better than some of the microwave based pubs

Came here today for lunch - had the rusticana pasta dish, goat's cheese pizza and the dolce e picante pizza. Very friendly waitresses, delicious food, clean restaurant and short wait times.

This is a pleasant enough place for a bite to eat. It specialises in pizza and pasta meals. It has recently been renovated after suffering from a major water leak but it is only marginally better than before. I went for a meal with my wife on a weekday lunchtime and we were the first in the restaurant after opening. Although the restaurant has plenty of space every other customer that came in after us were placed in tables right around us which I felt was rather unnecessary. I also felt it was unnecessary that the staff all spoke to each other in a foreign language. It is rather off-putting that they don't want customers to know what they are saying. That concerns me somewhat. The food was perfectly pleasant. The cost of items on the menu was comparable with similar establishments. There was no pushing by the staff for you to choose extra items so that was pleasing. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I would be happy to recommend it to others.

Prezzo, Spalding, is OK. Food is a bit expensive for what you get. The service was ok but had to ask for bill twice. I would visit again. We used Some vouchers up, so got a good deal. Only tend to go Prezzo when we are using Vouchers like clubcard.

Myself and my Fiancé came here last night for my birthday and the food was just amazing! Absolutely delicious and the service was really good, staff were very friendly. We have been a couple times now to this Prezzo as it's our local and will definitely be coming back more!

Great place to watch the locals landing their catches. Best time between 10am & 11am.

A very lively and enjoyable atmosphere ,and of our four starters the arancini, mozzarella and calamari were great albeit it must have been a pretty huge squid to account for the size of the calamari portions. However the king prawns and gnocchi was a bit of a disaster-very watery "sauce", creamy it was not; "king" prawns not much different to the ordinary variety and the gnocchi were hard, compressed potato -very unappealing. The wait staff did not seem interested in my comments about this.

Always like going there, & you get vouchers most of the time, which helps. Nice stuff always frienly, will be going again very soon. Keep it up Prezzo

Have been before and always find food and service to be very good. I was just a little upset to see a waitress putting wine glasses on tables but not using stems but her hands/fingers all over the rims .

Amazing food, amazing staff, lovely interior design! Lovely menu with a lot if choice and different dietary requirements. Came in a large group and the staff couldn't have been anymore accommodating! Definitely worth a visit!

I ordered spaghetti with tomato and prawns, but pasta was over cooked and spaghetti were stuck together in one side. Serving was fine

We visited with our parents for a bite to eat, right away the staff were friendly and cheerful. Once seated, we had the lovely Libby taking care of us. She was so good looking after us and asked all the right questions when we ordered to ensure we made the most of our visit. In general our experience was lovely, I noticed passing staff stopping by our table to take away plates that were finished with and top up any drinks. The food was lovely, I had the Chicken Carbonara Al Forno.... Worth it for that melted crispy cheese experience. Thanks for a great first visit.

When in with my family for a my sons birthday meal, the restaurant is very family friendly for all ages. The menu has less options than before but i was not disappointed, chefs can alter dishes and most dishes can be vegan and gluten free....

Walking in, the precautions taken where excellent, hand sanitiser on entrance and masks, staff all wearing face coverings, Table area was very clean and disinfected Starter was garlic bread with cheese and onion, Came within 10 minutes and was absolutely beautiful My partner had the spaghetti meatballs, the meatballs where absolutely gorgeous, unfortunately the spaghetti wasn’t cooked enough, and after the meatballs had been eaten, the spaghetti etc was very bland I had the penne all rusticana and it was absolutely faultless Desert: salted caramel chocolate tart, this came within only a few minutes, and for the £7 which it cost was extremely disappointing, was cold, and they ran out of spoons, so had to try and use a fork to scoop the excess cream/sauce etc The table service was absolutely amazing(Janet Bowden) and our waitress was amazing! I would return, but using a different menu choice

We had a 'Buy A Gift' voucher for Prezzo's and got booked into our local one in town. The restaurant was busy when we got there and stayed like that all night! Our waitress Annabelle was fantastic! She was very friendly and attentive and we couldn't fault her at all. The menu is obviously smaller than the main one but we knew this before we went so we were preppared. All 3 dishes were lush, absolutely lovely and tasty. The wine you get with the meal is ok and I had a couple more glasses during and after the meal which were nice as well.We will be going back here again and to be honest I would do the Buy A Gift thing again no problem.
