Prezzo in Portsmouth

Waited at the door for 20 minutes to get a table only to be told they were fully booked. Try putting a sign up and stop wasting people’s valuable time - that’s 20 minutes of my life I’m not getting back due to their inefficiencies.

Our server Ariana was attentive and had great customer service. She made us feel really welcome. The food was amazing and arrived promptly. We really enjoyed our evening. Thank you so much! :)

Despite only 10 people in the restaurant ignored and made to wait Then crammed into a corner with others despite social distancing Table sticky and when tried to get attention of staff to assist with ordering but again just ignored so left Hostess couldn’t be less untested and miserable

We live in the area and always enjoy our meals out here. We visited with family this time to celebrate my Birthday. The food is always hot and well presented. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area. Lovely Italian, tasty hot food. Bonus that you can use Tesco Vouchers.

We had a great meal overlooking the marina and the service was good. Sat outside and enjoyed the view.

We always enjoy our visits to this restaurant . Staff are friendly and efficient. Food is always good. We were served by Ariana who is great. Gives you plenty of time, never rushed service. We used our gourmet card, so makes a meal out much cheaper especially as drinks are part of the deal. Very organised with ref to Covid restrictions

Fodd is great, we had a fine dinning experience and katelynn was a fabulous waitress, also very patience and friendly, nothing was to much trouble, thank you guys we will be back soon

Long wait for starters and another long wait for the microwaved food not worth the wait and could not eat the rest as quit rubbery

We ate outside because it was not possible to eat inside yet due to Covid lockdown restrictions. They have 4 large parasols so if the weather is looking like it is going to rain, remember to request one of these tables. We visited on a rainy day and we were fortunate enough to have one of these so when it rained, we were able to continue where as people from other tables had to put their umbrella's up.The outdoor tables are really nice with a view over the marina. I can see these tables being really popular during the summer months.We had a really friendly waitress and she looked after us really well, replacing the cutlery that we used from our previous course etc. I have been to another Prezzo where the waiter/waitress expected us to use the same set of cutlery from the previous course. Whist it was busy, she still made time to ensure we were ok periodically with drinks etc.Food was nice and well cooked. We had a lovely meal and would definitely be back. The meatballs for start was particularly nice. As was the pudding. Yum.

Had a lovely meal at Prezzo this eve. My waitress, Mia, was polite, friendly and helpful. 5/5 for her service. My order was taken and food on the table with 10mins or so. I will definitely be back again

Warm welcome from staff and service was fine. We were not in lockdown at that time. food was at best average unfortunately with little flavour and needed more seasoning.. Drinks prices average. A little disappointed as was my nieces 16th birthday celebration and this is where she wanted to go on a Sunday afternoon.Although the staff were very attentive. I found it rather very sad for them that a family of 5 who came into the restaurant with the "Karen" mother, being so disrespectful as to wear wellington boots, that were caked in some sort of "mud" all over the soles. Could have been something worse though, but I was not going to get up and smell them,. VERY DISRESPECTFULL to the staff and other diners.

I asked to see the allegen/intolerance menu and they could not be more accommodating, really appreciate it, you've made my first meal out since March a relaxing experience and I will be sure to come back again. Visited on 01/11/2020. Sanitiser was by the front door, seating nicely separated and restaurant was well ventilated. One-way system was in operation.We decided to go for mains and desserts. Chicken Burger was hot and tasty. Large Pizza arrived on a platter (with extra parmesan) and was totally delicious.Cheesecake was an absolute dream.Pinot Grigio was one of the best I've had for a long time.We're coming back!

Lovely meal with a couple of friends. Table booked for 7.30 but due to slow but friendly service we couldn’t have 3 courses as we had to be out by 10. We didn’t complain but were automatically offered discount. Food was delicious, we all enjoyed it which is unusual as we have one vegetarian, one gluten free and one who eats anything so normally someone isn’t entirely happy! They more than compensated for the slow service which in normal times wouldn’t have caused any issues. We will definitely be back.

Went to Prezzo with my family for lunch and was happy with the service and with my chicken and avocado salad. I think they could improve on the vegan options though. My sister had the vegan Bolognese and it was alright but nothing special. Maybe having a vegan cheese option would have elevated it a bit. All in all a good meal out on a sunny day. I got to use my tastecard too which made it good value.

Visited here after booking a table for 3.45pm, hoping it wouldn’t be too busy. Very well organised with ref to covid19. Tables all a good distance apart and tables and seats cleaned once customers had left and Paper menu used.Food was good as was service. Used my gourmet society card so good discount.

We love to visit Portsmouth and every time when we do it we love to eat at Prezzo! The food is lovely the staff is very kind and the view is absolutley wonderful!

Had a late lunch/early evening Sunday meal with the family (6 of us). Pleasant service and our food was quick to be delivered after order. My boys ate their pizza with great relish, even my fussy child almost ate all his. Thank you.

As ardent fans of Prezzo, and in the area, we had lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Just when we thought Prezzo couldn't get better, it DID! We both had the Carbonara Al Forno, but I substituted Penne for Spaghetti and added the chicken. Wow! It was the best version of this dish I have ever had in any of the Prezzo restaurants and we visit a lot of them. My wife told me hers was as good, if not better, than she's had in Rome! Thank you chef!Their attention to Covid was spot on, including a 'Covid arrangement' brief on entry. The only downside was no draught Peroni!Couldn't fault the service and the staff were as attentive as I've ever seen.Well done Port Solent, you're absolutely the top of the chain for us!

My dinner arrived luke warm so sent it back to be warmed up , waited 15 mins for it to come back (had to prompt waitress to get my food as they were stood around chatting) so then my side order of chips were cold and the rest of my family had nearly finished eating their meals. When my meal came back the chicken was dry and tough. Nothing off meal and not much of an apology. Also only dessert available was tiramisu . Very disappointed will not be returning. Not worth the money , 4 mains, I started and 6 soft drinks was £80!

Staff all friendly and very helpful. Tables well spaced and clean. Meal was average , good standard for chain restaurant.

They have really thought about the social distancing for customers and the one way system around the restaurant although not everyone managed to follow it! They had also reduced capacity by ensuring more room between tables - nice one Prezzo!A lovely catch up with friends, staff were very friendly when taking orders.

I loved the food and the staff, especially our waitress Kaitlin who was very kind.We ordered a pizza garlic bread which Kaitlin said had been burnt whilst cooking and they would make us another one as not everyone likes burnt pizza. This was good as she told us the truth instead trying to hide the mistake.Thanks for the making our Daddy Daughter date fun, and I'll see you again very soon xxx

Took full advantage of the dine out to help out scheme, was glad this place had reopened and had yummy meal .Excellent service and massive portions. Will try again soon

My wife and I booked a table well in advance as it was our wedding anniversary and as it was the "eat out, help out" month we knew it would be busy, and it was. The earliest we could book a table was for 2045 but we still got home for 2200. It felt a bit empty due to the distancing rules but it was busy. A slightly reduced menu but still had our favourites on it. I had the calamari starter(new recipe)and I preferred it to the "old recipe" as it was "less crispy" which was how I cooked mine at home. Main courses were our normal, spaghetti and prawns for me and chicken breast and mushrooms for my wife. Both were slightly larger than we remember so no room left for desserts, or have our stomachs shrunk with lock down? Service was a bit slower than usual but less staff so was expected. The £10 pp discount was a bonus but we'd have been there without it as it's one of our preferred restaurants, good food and service at a reasonable price, we're out again tonight, daughter and SIL's treat, Indian at the Shalimar. We look forward to it.

A good meal (gluten free) without being spectacular. Nice place and good COVID rules in place. Can’t complain

The food was fine and the staff were polite enough. There was a one way situation and people were spread out but I felt it could be better. Also a tad disappointing that the kids had to eat from the menu for older kids. We ended up buying a meal that our 3 year old never stood a chance of eating. All in all pretty good but a couple of things that could have been better.

Great lunchtime option with a colleague. Service was pretty friendly although waitress had problems with her device for ordering. Calamari starter was so-so. A bit chewy. Not quite crispy enough. Chicken bacon & avocado salad was great. V light. Dressing on the side as requested. Good meal. Price not too bad. Lovely view on the marina in the sunshine.

Out for anniversary meal and not greeted for 5 minutes untill we caught a member of staffs attention. We were not offered a high chair for my baby as we were seated. Starters were cold and staff unapologetic as we explained to them. Staff sarcastic on return with starters stating plates were very hot this time. Minimal care in service following this issue. Absolutely awful. Have cancelled future booking at end of August.

First time at Port Solent Prezzo and we where thoroughly impressed. The location is wonderful with amazing views out on the decking. Food was very nice with a good selection and quick service. Our main compliment though was our service from our waitress Laurie, she was absolutely fantastic, showed a genuine interest in why we were visiting, so polite, so friendly and her attention to detail was spot on. Would definitely return. Thank you!

We use the restaurant a lot and love it. We decided to try the Takeaway service yesterday due to having a hard day and being too tired to go out.. We ordered the same meal that we usually have at the restaurant for the same price. We ordered to collect at 17.00hrs. There was a 10 minute wait for the meal after 17.00hrs. The pizzas were small, luke warm and so hard they could not be cut. Mine was spinage, cheese and mushrooms, it tasted fishy. My friend's was also inedible. I was too tired to complain. We will vote with our feet and boycott Prezzo.

No grumbles with the food or the service provided. Both were top notch. Our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable and hardworking. However the COVID measures they had put in place were poorly thought out. Whilst the tables were reasonably spaced out, the one way system to enter and exit the restaurant was an absolute joke. To enter the restaurant you have to wait in a narrow porch area. No issue in waiting, but the staff also use this entrance to attend to the tables outside, which involves squeezing past waiting customers! I felt sorry for the staff as this was clearly putting them at further risk, along with the customers. Given the front of the restaurant is primarily made up of bi-fold doors, might I suggest to the management you create a seperate exit solely for the staff to use. Again, no issue with the food or service, but I for one will not be returning until they've given their one way system a rethink.

Went to Prezzos for lunch. Food good and staff helpful. Cleaning of tables and chairs good. Unfortunately having 1 small door as an entrance and exit is not Covid secure. People were squeezing past each other trying to enter with waiting staff passing to serve clients outside.There are plenty of exterior doors that could be opened to establish a one way system. On speaking to staff about this, they said that they had also reported concerns to management but had been disregarded. The tables outside could be rearranged so that they are not on top of people passing by as well. Come on Prezzo, simple to sort out so everyone is safer!

After 15 mins of waiting, we didn’t get our Menu’s and they started serving the couple that was behind us in line. Whom they brought Menus as soon as they got their table.We ended up leaving the place. I understand that Covid19 generates issues, but there were two parties in line so it wasn’t a busy day. The waitresses just didn’t think.

Had a wonderful lunch today. Sat outside in the sun. The food was top notch. The server was Megan and she couldn't have been more helpful. A credit to Prezzo. The covid protection was also good. Table was sanitised before we sat down and they used disposable menus. Also a good idea. Well done won't hesitate to gome again.

This was our first venture out to a restaurant since lockdown so we were a bit wary however it was great. Social distancing, cleanliness and food amazing. So good to be back, we missed you Prezzo!

Tonight we had a fantastic evening, Ariana has been amazing. She is a credit to the company. Couldn’t have asked for better, so happy to help us and always with a smile. Special thanks to Ariana for a brilliant evening, we will be back!!

Booked a table for 4 for lunch, whilst we were on holiday. A beautiful location & our table outside overlooked the harbour. Fantastic food with excellent customer service from our waitress Carmon. Our starters, mains & desserts were so good. We will definitely visit again, when we are next in the area.

Very helpful and friendly service. Good levels of hygiene. Food and portion size good on a slimmed down menu. Not the cheapest of the chain Italian restaurants but fair value especially with Meerkat meals.

Thought this would be nice considering the lovely setting by the harbour, but the food was a bit of a disaster. The pizza was a bit cold and was bland, the arrabbiata has about much spice in it as a bag of flour and a vegetarian was given the smoked salmon penne and told it was arrabbiata (thankfully two people had ordered arrabbiata so we were able to compare and correct it, but had someone with a seafood allergy been there it could have been a very different story). Service was slow but the staff were very friendly and apologetic when we raised any complaints. Overall, would not visit again unfortunately.

We were slightly nervous of our first meal out since lockdown ended and chose Prezzo as it has a lovely outdoor area and we’ve eaten there a lot in the past. When we arrived we could choose any table outside we wanted and the waitress patiently explained all the new rules about one way systems and sanitising etc. It wasn’t as bad as I’d feared (I was envisaging Perspex screens between tables and all the staff in masks and gloves, which isn’t what they have done) and actually being slightly more spaced out from other diners made the experience nicer. The menu is different from before (a couple of my favourite dishes have disappeared but the waitress told us that it has something to do with reducing danger for the kitchen staff and social distancing when cooking?) but is still entirely recognisable. We had calamari (small portions but delicious), to start and then large pizzas (which were ENORMOUS!) which we had completely misjudged the size of and couldn’t finish. No problem they said, and did we could take our unfinished pizza home in a box. I had no idea Prezzo did this and it was really nice to eat it again the next day. We couldn’t fit in pudding but it looked very nice (although no ice cream?) and we’ll judge our appetite better next time. Thanks to the Prezzo staff for making what could have been a stressful experience so smooth, and welcome back!

Exceptional service and great food! All safety measures are in place here with tables spread out and a one system in place. The service was great and staff were attentive. The food was delicious! One staff in particular who was lovely was the young blonde lady with glasses. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

Visited here on Thursday for lunch with a friend and I have to say we were both very satisfied.Clearly the safety of the team and customers was priority! the restaurant was spotless and social distancing was respected by all members of the team, the toilets were sparkling also. Overall we felt very safe dining here and would definitely recommend.Food was amazing too! the new calamari recipe was fantastic (recommended) and the old classic pasta dishes were great as always! We were very pleased to hear our Son’s favourite restaurant was opening in time for his birthday. We weren’t sure if it would be the same experience, but we weren’t disappointed.There is hand sanitisers at the entrance, a one way system and tables are well spaced. Cutlery is no longer on the table, instead it is bought to the table in a napkin, salt and pepper are now in paper sachets, menus are paper so can be disposed of. Tables and chairs are wiped down fully in between people sitting down. You have the option of ordering and paying via app or having table service. We opted for table service and were looked after by the amazing Ania. Ania looked after us so well, explaining everything and doing all she could to make our Son’s birthday meal special. It was so lovely to go out as a family for a meal. We felt safe and overall it was really positive experience. We will be back very soon!

My husband and I have just enjoyed our first lunch out since lockdown at our favourite Port Solent restaurant Prezzo. We were a little apprehensive as to how we would find all the changes and would we feel comfortable and most important of all safe. I can assure you it was as always delightful. We sat out on the terrace but did have a look inside just to see what was in place. We were extremely impressed with how very smoothly everything was running and how incredibly clean everything was. We weren’t anxious at all. We were looked after by Anna who was as always charming and absolutely professional. She explained initially exactly how the new system worked and everything was exactly as she had said. They have a one way system in place inside with hand sanitizer by the door on entry. Tables were extremely well spaced out and left completely clear with cutlery all contained within a napkin being bought out with your meal.All condiments were in paper sachets menus were disposable ones and tables and chairs were completely cleaned down between every customer. It may be worth noting they no longer accept cash but staff are able to accept cash tips. I feel this is important to mention as the staff were far too polite to tell us that and I’m not sure if they benefit from the full amount if it is added to a card payment. All cards were cleaned with a disinfected wipe before being returned to us. All in all an extremely pleasant experience and one that I feel very happy to recommend to anyone who may be feeling a little anxious about venturing out once again !!!!

Wasn’t sure what to expect when things have changed so much over the last few months. But had a great experience. Tables have reduced of course and there is a one way system in place and hand sanitiser as you go in. You can order manually with the team or you can do what we did and pointed the phone camera at the code on the table which opened up the ordering system and ordering from there was very Simple. Big shout out to the friendly team who made the whole experience very relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and at the same time felt safe

It’s great to be able to go out to restaurants again. The new procedures make a big positive impact. From the moment you walk-in you will see the hand sanitiser- then greeted by a manager who explained the system within the restaurant. We noticed how amazingly clean everything looked. We were seated and given an option to order online using a new app or a new recycle menu. We ordered the drinks and food.We both ordered the garlic bread with balsamic vinegar. This came and my word the taste was unbelievable. This was 10/10. I nearly ordered another as the taste was so great. The cutlery came fresh ( no longer sat on table) and in a pocket within a napkin.- great to get it this way ( I hope it stays this way).I ordered vesuvio pizza with a side order of fries & chilli oil / my wife went for the spaghetti Bolognese with Italian cheese on top ( some extra in a side dish ).These turned up Very quickly. The pizza was very large and I struggled to eat it all - but I did. It was tasteful / fresh and went down a treat. 9.5 /10 My wife meal went down a treat and she refused to leave anything on the plate. 9.5 / 10. I was unable to squeeze a desert in but my wife ordered tiramisu- worth every penny. How she managed to consume it all and would not let me taste it. 9/10.Overall a great meal out in a fantastic location. The tables were spaced apart and everything well cleaned. The service was great - it seems more of a personal experience than previous restaurants.I would have more photos of food but my phone lost power.

Having booked a table for a Saturday night we were not surprised about how busy they were. However the staff made you feel if you were the only people in there, food was excellent. Will definitely visit again.

I have stopped writing reviews on this site but wouldn’t feel right not mentioning last nights experience at this wonderful restaurant. We go here a lot, but normally as a couple, but last night went as a group of six to celebrate my Wife’s birthday. From the moment we entered, the service and attention to detail were amazing and second to none. The Manageress (I think that is her position) is incredible and would be sorely missed if she left. She was none stop all evening and even brought out a cake (ice cream and candle) and sang happy birthday for my Wife. The food was incredible and all came out at the right interval. All in all a very enjoyable evening thanks to the Staff and Chefs, and the bill was very reasonable. Thank you all again.

We visited Prezzo on a Saturday night, as a party of 14. We didn’t have to wait as our reservation was immediately available. The facilities were spotless and the atmosphere felt warm and friendly. The staff were very attentive, and our food came out quickly, and was piping hot. We were not rushed to leave and the whole night was relaxed, with lots of funny Banter with the waiters and waitresses. I would highly recommend this venue for all party sizes. I will be returning soon with my family as I could not fault the experience. Thank you

The location of this restaurant is nice. Overlooking the port in a modern setting. The menu is what it is for a chain. My food was alright, I can't say it was anything to shout about but it filled a hole. Service was attentive and friendly. Appeared clean and tidy.

Really nice restaurant with views over the water. The food is great especially the autumn set menu. The service was beyond lacking! Staff eating at the bar area and sat in the area where these a computer and seemingly ignoring customers...

We visited for an early dinner. Although we were shown to a table by a lovely waitress, Anna, we asked to be moved to another table as we were in a draught. Without any hesitation we we kindly shown to another in one of the booths, which was perfect for the 5 of us. Another lovely waitress Ariana took over from Ana. She was an absolute delight. VERY friendly and attentive. I last ate here over two ears ago so wasn’t sure what to expect.We all ordered different pasta dishes and all were very good. They were tasty and very hot. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. You know what food to expect but it was delivered faultlessly. Exceptional !

Visited here 6 months ago and had a very nice meal. Unfortunately my visit last week was disappointing. It was very busy, possibly due to a 2 for 1 deal but my pasta was not particularly hot and didn’t taste very good. I asked for parmesan and was given a few flakes, it definitely needed more. My cocktail was not very chilled which spoilt it somewhat. Very slow service and had to wait ages for the bill. Unlikely I would go back.

Salí con mi esposo a comer. Desafortunadamente, no reservamos en ningún lado y este era el único lugar que tenía mesas libres. ¡Descubrí por qué! Ambos tuvimos platos de pasta, la pasta sabía barata y ni siquiera fresca, como el penne barato que compras en un supermercado por 50 p por bolsa de 5 kg. La salsa que decía cremosa en el menú llegó aguada e insípida y nada de eso. Mi esposo estaba aún más manso y justo como una lata de tomate picado sobre él. Tanto soso, insípido y como cuando un niño de 12 años cocina una comida. La pizza de pan de ajo era como un trozo de cartón plano. Esperábamos que el postre salvaría la noche, pero ambos fueron comprados en la tienda y degustaciones rancias.

Trendy and pleasant location. Surprising quite a few diners out making a lovely atmosphere. Fantastic range of gluten free meals and taken care of by a welcoming hostess Kaitlyn for the evening. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

I am not really a fan of Pizza Restaurants in general as they are all much the same with very little individuality on offer.

It was my partners birthday, I dropped off a cake and balloons. Ania decorated the table lovely, the food was delicious as were the drinks. The cake was bought out and we sang happy birthday, then ania found out it was also my birthday so surprised me with ice cream and candle and sang happy birthday. 100% customer service

Been here several times now and never fails to deliver. Table for 2 .all 3 courses excellent + wine + liqueurs,+ beer, great service from Angela. Would recommend for large or small groups. Good value for money. Used our gourmet card £69. Total bill brilliant.

Really lovely setting overlooking the Port of Solent. Restaurant on the first floor so beautiful views. Food very good and the staff couldn't be more accommodating and attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant . Their Signature G&T; is worth a try too!

Visited Prezzo today with my family as we are recommended to visit by friends.. I cannot fault the food but the service was so slow... we waited at least 20 mins for drinks and a good 40 mins for food. I had a young baby with me so couldn't afford to keep hanging about. I had to all twice for my drinks. It was 3.15 so lunchtime rush was over and only a handful of tables were taken. I had visited several of these establishments in the past and never had such poor slow service. But food spot on no problem there at all.

Greeted & seated with friendlieness. Staff attentive. Food hot, tasty & delicious. Great menu to choose from. Nice outlook over the Marina of Yacht's & Motor Boats. Plenty of space between tables. Easy Parking.

My friend celebrated a birthday this afternoon at Prezzo - Port Solent. The service and food was superb. Anna and her staff are so very professional- and friendly. The general atmosphere in the restaurant made us feel very relaxed and we all enjoyed our visit. We would all recommend Prezzo’s and definitely want to go back again - very soon!

We decided to eat here for our Wedding Anniversary (with our children too) We ate outside as it was nice and warm. We ordered our Starters and mains together. Our starters came out very quickly.. We then had just over an hour wait for out mains... The venue wasn't that busy..

We meet every six months to catch up with retired colleagues. We choose this restaurant as it caters for all diets. Friendly staff and great service. A great discount using vouchers

Went here yesterday for my mums birthday. There were 8 of us in total including my 16 month old. We were waiting for over half an hour before a drinks order was even taken and that was because we asked for some drinks! Service was very poor and very slow. Food wasn’t great at all. Brought my daughters food out last after we had been in there for over an hour. She was not best pleased! Then to top it off they served my mum curdled, gone off cream with her cake absolutely shocking! Last time I came here, about three years ago, it was rubbish and it still is. Average food at best and awful service. Lots of staff as well, clearly badly managed! Defo won’t be returning, even with a taste card! AVOID!

Well.... disappointed is an understatement! We went to Prezzo this evening for a quick dinner! I think this was the longest wait for food I have ever experienced, the service was slow, the staff were rude and inexperienced! The food came out after about 40 minutes and it was just about warm like it had been sat around for about 20 minutes. Told the waitress and she didn't seem to be too bothered, as we had waited so long we just carried on eating it! We then didn't want to have dessert as feared this could be another 40 minutes wait, asked for the bill and thank god it was 2 for 1 as I can say for certain I would not have forked out for the whole bill! We had better service from the McDonald's down the road for our Mcflurrys, for dessert! Never again will we step foot into a Prezzo!

My boyfriend booked us a table for 7 30pm on 27 August he booked it a week before my birthday we arrived and were shown to our table we were given our menu the waitress came over about 10 mins later asked us what would we like to drink so we told her she came back over to us and said your drinks are on the bar and the wait for food is aleast 45 minute wait but we looked around and people were still being served????? We weren't told this before we sat down we didn't stay we were not going to wait 45 mins this terrible service and my partner just want everything to go right but thanks to prezzo it didn't

I use this restaurant quite a lot, the staff are great, the food nearly always good so very happy to go again, no problem. Staff 5* Sevice 5* Food 4* Location 5* with free parking and great Marina views Enjoy..

We have been to this restaurant before so we thought we would all get together for a birthday gathering on this occasion a group of 10 with one wheelchair user.

Prezzo is one of my husband and mine favourite places to have dinner, the food is always delicious and value for money, the view is also beautiful if it's warm enough to sit outside! Good selection of food & drinks (I love the pornstar martini) Our server, Jackie couldn't have been more friendly and accommodating. Food was out quickly along with the drinks and when we needed to leave quickly due to having a flight booked from Southampton Airport she made sure to get the bill & take payment quickly.

I booked a table for a party of four early Sunday morning for the same evening. When we arrived we were ignored by the staff whilst in the lobby. When a member of staff eventually came to greet us we found that they had no table! They then pulled up a make shift table in the doorway of the restaurant. Needlessly to say we left! We have been to this Restaurant before and the service was appalling and slow. I would certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone. However I would recommend the Prezzo in Whitely Southampton. Excellent service and good food.

We went here to celebrate my father in laws birthday. The restaurant was very busy. Table for 7 people was booked for 5.30pm and we were shown straight to our table. Service and food was excellent. Especially Risotto which was perfectly cooked . Our waitress was great and seemed really happy to serve us and made a fuss on the ‘birthday boy ‘ . Unfortunately I didn’t notice her name on receipt. We used a gourmet society card which covered 6 people. Cost of meal: £222 which included 7 starters, 7 mains, 7 desserts/ coffee. 2 bottles wine . 6 pints lager . 2 limoncellos. Great evening, thank you very much and definitely be back.

Always go to this restaurant quite regularly, I have to say how outstanding the food was. The Chicken was perfect.

The experience did not start well as when we entered the restaurant, we realised we were wearing the invisibility cloak as staff just walked past us not making eye contact. Eventually was acknowledged and seated. We had a very good waitress from then on. How ever the food was well below expectation.

We had a lovely meal and used our Clubcard vouchers which made it great value. The service was pretty slow but we were not in a hurry and we did receive apologies and a free dessert for my eldest son and free coffees for us adults. The view is lovely and easy to park if you need to - we waked from the Marriott Hotel - it is about a 30 minute easy walk or 5 minute drive. The food when it arrived was delicious and good value for money I thought. It was well presented, particularly the chocolate brownie and hot. I would go back again but there are many enticing restaurants around port solent.

Had a brilliant meal last night at Prezzo made extra special by our lovely chatty waitress Anya who dealt with all our requests. Quality food and drink good atmosphere tasteful decor would definitely go back which we intend to do soon - well done Prezzo we like!

We were very disappointed with the service in this restaurant. I ordered a side of broccoli and cauliflower and only broccoli turned up. I asked where the cauliflower was and waitress curtly said “we haven’t got any”. The bill turned up and was incorrect and after pointing this out no one turned up to collect our payment so we had to take to counter and leave. Restaurant was empty with plenty of staff so not sure what the problem was. Not a good experience for a restaurant in a prime location overlooking a marina.

Great place to catch up with friends however it looks like we went on an off night as my experience wasn’t matched by most of the reviews.

We came here after stopping over to go to IOW. What a picturesque place! If the weather is nice you may be lucky to sit outside and enjoy the marina view! Food was really nice for all of us and even better with a 2 for 1 Meerkat deal!

Really good food and good location, staff friendly and attentive and management on top too. Definitely recommend.

Really beautiful very warm and sunny evening. Lovely position overlooking the marina with boats. Could sit outside but we decided to sit inside for the air conditioning. Food and drinks were brought quickly and were freshly cooked and really tasty. Very happy with our choices of starters, mains and dessert. Our waitress, Jackie, was lovely. Warm, smiley and nothing was too much trouble despite the heat and the busy restaurant. She is a credit to this business.

Had a catch up with friends, great location, nice food. Had to wait for drinks but it was busy, nice booth seats, would go again.

Last night we all went to prezzo for my nephews 14th birthday gathering, there were 13 of us and the food and service was absolutely outstanding,They put our separate tables we had booked together and were so accommodating.
