Meal was terrible and very little on plate. Staff manager very rude, eating gum and advertising out was not on menu.

This was the wors experience I have encountered in a long time. I have ate better frozen supermarket pizzas for £2. The proscuitto on my wife’s chicken was cremated and the whole dish was very poorly presented. The worst thing was when my wife tried to use her Blue Light discount the waitress ended arguing with her in a very inapproprite manner. She then walked out. I took the unprescedended step of making an official complaint to head office. In. short they agreed my wife was correct and apologised. Unfortunately this was too late and we will not be back.

I had Spaghetti Bolognase 🍝 which was nice.

Nice food with a few vegan options. The bread is soft and fresh and the cannellini bean dip is a nice change to hummus. The pasta is the perfect consistency.

Enjoyed my pasta dish was lovely. Very reasonably priced too

This place serves very good food reasonable prices. The services we received from the waiter serving us however was fantastic, and he really made our evening special and relaxed. We've been to a number of Prezzo restaurants, and this one certainly matches up to the typical expected standard, but the service was the best we had ever received at any Prezzo location prior.

Best pizza I've had in a long time

Sadly this was a let down. From the outside it looked fairly cosy and appeared to have a good atmosphere; however, once inside the lighting and atmosphere did not live up to the potential. The food was much blander than I would expect for an Italian restaurant, though the chilli in the Prawn spaghetti was a pleasant additive. Unfortunately the overall blandness let the meal down. Even the pizza needed salt and pepper to season the plain chicken and sauce. I'll have to give this place a pass in the future and would recommend you try the other Italians in town if you like warm flavours. Sadly very disappointing.

Food was really nice. Fresh, very hot and tasted great. Staff were quick and friendly. Manager was nice. I would definitely go back here and would recommend it to others. It’s a well-run restaurant. Nice atmosphere overall, plenty of space between the tables. Oh and the desserts were amazing!!

What a disappointing experience. The food was extremely overpriced, I paid £20 for what was chicken, mash and uncooked broccoli. For my starter I had gnocchi and prawns and they actually forgot to put the pasta into the pasta dish so they had to take it away and remake it. The food didn't even taste like Italian food, it just tasted like mediocre pub food. None of my party enjoyed their food. Staff were nice but unprofessional, ambience was absolutely awful. We had such a poor experience that the staff gave us our starters for free as an apology. Admittedly this was a kind act (and why my review isn't 1 star) but I still cannot fathom how this restaurant has fallen so far. Simply cannot recommend, Rustico is much better for Italian food. Hell if you want cheap food that's on a similar quality to Prezzo, go to Frankie and Bennies.

We had a lovely time for me and my partner’s anniversary. Our server Megan was wonderful and checked in on us often but not too often to make sure everything was fine. Our food was amazing and has been every time we have been in the past. With thanks to all the staff for making our anniversary a great evening!

Pretty disappointing. I had the Posh Pepperoni pizza - the dough was heavy and bland. There's a huge great pizza oven on display, but it must be set way too low - you can get more flavour, char and rise in a domestic oven.

Pre theatre meal yesterday evening. Food was delicious and service excellent. It was pretty busy but the staff were faultless in their service. Lovely experience. Would highly recommend.

We booked a table for just after 7 on a Saturday evening. Place was quite full when we arrived. Staff was friendly and attentive, they came up and checked on us a few times. Service was probably a bit slow but we didn't really notice it as we were having a good time. The place itself is lovely and the food we tried was actually very good! Bruschetta was not a toasted bread but more of pizza dough with fresh tomato and pesto, not quite the bruschetta you eat in Italy but delicious nonetheless. Pizzas were thin and crunchy, with plenty of toppings and really tasty. They also brought us some extra chips to apologize for the delay while cooking our pizzas which it was appreciated. Price wise is slighty more expensive than Tony Macaroni (another one of my favourite "Italian" restaurant) but still not expensive given the quality of the ingredients used to prepare our dishes. Overall I recommend everyone to give it a try, both the food and the service is worth it!

Delicious food from Prezzo! Five stars for food for sure. Prices are good too. Most of the staff were super friendly albeit quite distracted by their own company and forgetful with requests, unfortunately the one who meets, greets and seats you is unfriendly which thankfully doesn't match the rest of the team!

Visited Prezzo, Union Square, with my wife on a Thursday evening. We had a Red Letter Day gift card for a three course meal for two with wine. This was to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant was quite busy and had a pleasant atmosphere. We were immediately seated at a small table, I chose to ignore the tear in seat of the threadbare chair. We got a complimentary glass of prosecco and menus, however, when we declared our red letter day gift card the menus were replaced with their 'voucher' menus. These menus were very basic with a limited choice. We really felt like second class diners. We made our selection and the food arrived very quickly. And one waitress in particular was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the food was really disappointing. It was as cheap and cheerful as the menu. But the sweets were actually quite good. All said, we won't go back. Of course, their full menu and full price paying customers may enjoy a better experience. Some restaurants persist in treating people that have gift cards and vouchers like second rate customers and squander the opportunity to win new regular customers. January 2022. Prezzo, Union Square, Aberdeen. It seems I'd forgotten my that I wasn't going to return to Prezzo, probably because the offer of a 3course meal for 2 with a glass of wine each for £20 was too tempting. However, the experience was again disappointing. Whilst nothing was bad, it was, at best, very ordinary. The place was tired and felt a bit unclean (a couple of those annoying tiny flies kept pestering us. Food was bland, wine was forgettable and beer was pricey (no draught). That said, service was fast, probably because there were only 13 customers in the restaurant. With quite a few other restaurant options at Union Square, I think it will many years before I return to Prezzo.

We were served by a new start, lovely girl but very nervous. With that aside, really good service. The food was lovely, I had bruschetta to start, this was really amazing. Served in a flat bread style with the usual bruschetta toppings and a gorgeous basil pesto topping. To finish off i had a lasagne which was really nice, large portion with a layer of mozzarella on top. Would recommend.

Service excellent , but food was horrible, pasta was not al dente but almost uncooked. Child’s spaghetti had hot chillis in it.

Visiting Aberdeen for the first time and went to Prezzo Union Square last night and had a delightful meal and such a lovely evening there. Went back again tonight when they had some MasterCard processing problems but despite this again had a truly lovely experience and must compliment ‘Heather’ and her female colleague (Manager?), both of whom deserve the highest of praise for their professionalism, courtesy and personal charm that clearly makes the meal experience so pleasant. Thank you both for your wonderful service!

Horrible experience. Worst customer service ever. Not allergy friendly at all. They completely spoilt our first afternoon out in a year to celebrate a birthday. Will surely not be returning. The manager Chris was horrible and very rude. Said, it was not possible to cater for allergens on children’s menu. Was not possible to get hot water for the table and basically asking him for anything was a huge effort. Hated it.

Sadly I did not notice till I got home however we were over charged around £15 on our visit. 2 courses for £15 for one, one chicken salad, 2 pornstar martinis, 2 small bottles of beer and a limoncelo does not add upto £59. Always check the receipt before you pay.

Brunette female waitress at the union square Prezzo very rude and poor table service from her! Interrupted me during phone call to get the bill paid and stood awkwardly over our table until a voucher was found. Basically dumped down the plates when they arrived and also no cutlery after food was served. Will be sticking to the marischal square Prezzo instead.

Fui a cenar en familia. Realmente aprecié las instrucciones y pautas de seguridad que recibimos en la entrada y las medidas de cuidado y distanciamiento implementadas. Nuestro camarero Samuel fue muy atento y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos, y cumplió muy bien las pautas mientras se aseguraba de que estuviéramos satisfechos. Realmente aprecio su servicio.

Visited here last night and ordered prawns starter and garlic bread with mozzarella cheese from gluten free menu. Prawns were served with a tomato based sauce with spinach. Prawn dish arrived and had to return it as cold. The accompanying sauce was tasteless and it only contained 4 prawns. They had the audacity to charge £6.75 for it too. The garlic bread resembled a naan bread with a bit of cheese in the middle. This cost approximately £4.70. My daughter ordered spaghetti bolognaise which she described as tasteless and cold. We shall never be returning here for a meal. Total waste of money.

I would expect a usually busy restaurant to make sure it’s well stocked, especially before a weekend and especially before Valentines Day.Visited 13th to be told there were no risotto dishes at all, and no sea bass or tender stem broccoli/cauliflower side dishes.Poor show.

We made a quick decision to go out for dinner, and we had a voucher, and Prezzo’s had a table so off we went! What impressed me most about the visit was just how quick and efficient the service was: that may have been because we chose fairly classic Italian dishes such as bolognese and meatballs but the speed of service was very impressive. Both meals were very tasty, with layers of freshly grated Parmesan on top. There is something very satisfying about seeing grated Parmesan fall like fresh snow upon your plate. We also opted for the dolcetti dessert - I am always delighted when restaurants offer just-a-taste desserts with great coffee; again both were delicious and I was relieved that mine did NOT come with a mint leaf. As someone who is allergic to mint, I fail to understand why it is such a staple addition to dessert dishes in so many restaurants, and I am glad that the choice is occasionally made not to add a mint leaf! Also, our voucher discount meant that we had enjoyed a great meal with excellent value for money - we will definitely be returning!

Just back home from a days shopping and went to Prezzo after getting a voucher from buyagift as a present, we arrived after having booked earlier in the week and was shown to our table and given the set menu for the deal, we ordered our three courses and were given our wine and starters arrived soon after and were good, pizza bites with a tomato sauce and mozzarella fingers whic came with a very garlic tasting sour cream, both really nice, we then waited quite some time for the Pizza my chicken and caramalized onion pizza was really good but my wife’s goats cheese pizza was like a brick and struggled to cut into it so as the waitress came over to ask if everything was ok we said no about her pizza to which she replied oh sorry and just walked off, we then called on the manageress who apologised and said she would get us a replacement that would take a few minutes, 20 mins later she returned spay then I had finished mine, this time the pizza was SO much better and looked to have a lot more toppings than the last effort and tasted so much better we then waited ages to get the table cleared and our deserts which were Malteser cheesecake.Once finished the manageress had to come to process the voucher and again apologised for the pizza , I said about the waitress and think she knew herself that the waitress was not the best at her jobSo unfortunately won’t be returning here in a hurry, we have visited the Prezzo at Marshal Square in Aberdeen before and the difference between the two is vast

Went into Prezzo in Union Square on 02/01/20 at 16.20pm and a guy came up to us and asked can I help you I said would it be possible to get a table for two baring in mind there were plenty of empty tables and were told by him we would need to come back at 16.30 I asked why could we not just come in and have a seat he said no you will have to come back as they hadn’t tidied up yet .That is the second time we have been refused a table last time we were told that a large party of people had came in and was told we would have to wait an hour and a halfThe guys customer service was a disgrace and was shaking his head to other members of staff .I will never visit a Prezzo in Union Square again .Absolutely no customer service skills at all .

Walked in at 17.45 pm.and got the table with the condition that we can't order the pizza?.During our stay pizz was served to the other customers. Werry poor management.

Came here last Saturday. Service was excellent. The food was delicious. I had the Penne Arrabiata and it was delicious. The value for money was very good. The place was busy and had a lively atmosphere but not OTT.I would say this is possibly the best restaurant in Union Square, and I would highly recommend it to others.

The food was basic and the service was very poor. The four adult meals were served well before the children’s meals and the overall quality was very basic. I would not go back when there are so many other places to choose in Union Square.

We had coffee and desert. The espresso was all right, a little too sour. But the tiramisu brought disgrace upon this Italian classic. Too sweet, tasteless, terrible consistency. Thumbs down

Went here for a meal with my wife, started with calamari which was awful. Rock hard and more like chipsticks, pizza was good however and price was reasonable. Staff were friendly however wouldn’t rush back, decidedly average. Also male toilets were out of use which was hopeless.

Went here after having a very good experience at the Marischal Square Prezzo but was very disappointed. Salmon was dried up and pasta looked like it had come out of a ready meal box. We won't be back.

My husband and I visited Prezzo while shopping in Aberdeen. The restaurant is located in an excellent complex of other restaurants, and was clean and modern. We were seated straight away. The restaurant was quiet as we had arrived early afternoon but had filled up by the time we were leaving.

Even though the restaurant was almost empty, with approx 10 other people dining, late afternoon on Saturday 27th Oct, after first sitting in a booth set for 4 people - we were asked to move to a table on the other side - for 2......as there were 2 people sat at other tables for 4 - we sat at a table for 4...so why we were asked to move no idea..can understand if you are abosolutely full....or it had been reserved - you weren't and it wasnt!.

Llegamos aquí a las 8. 20 h el 16 de octubre. Me dijeron que estaban cerrando debido a que el gerente tenía una emergencia. Realmente espero que todo haya estado bien para esta persona. Seguramente, ¿aunque el personal podría sostener el fuerte y lidiar con un miércoles por la noche? Nos quedamos muy decepcionados!

Fui a cenar aquí, tuve el Risotto de Champiñones, que estaba muy seco, lamentablemente no era el mejor que he probado, de hecho es bastante soso. Mi esposo optó por la pizza y lo disfrutó, creo que este lugar se especializa más en pizzas, ¡debería haber optado por eso! De todos modos con bebidas nuestra comida llegó a 44, así que no es el lugar más barato.

Reservé una mesa para 7 personas en la parte trasera del restaurante, ya que era una pequeña ocasión de celebración y la ubicación estaba bien. También tenía invitados que venían de Londres. Reservé la mesa con 4 semanas de anticipación. El día que recibí un mensaje porque perdí la llamada para decir que no podía tener la mesa, ya que ese día obtuvieron una reserva para un grupo de 9 y que gastarían más dinero que mi grupo. Como puedes imaginar, estaba furioso. Me quejé a la oficina central y me dieron lo de siempre. Lo siento mucho y seguiremos con esto, etc. El gerente no se disculpó, fue muy grosero y, francamente, no le importó. Ella todavía está trabajando allí, así que dudo mucho que haya tenido una conversación, etc.

Always believe you get a good meal in Prezzo. First time in Union Square resturant.

Good service and lovely food. Delicious Bruschetta, Hummus (Italian Hummus :-) and Penne Arabiata. Great value.

I ate here with family last weekend. It was a Saturday night so the place was quite busy but we didn't need a reservation and were seated straight away. The service was good although we did have 4 different waiters serve us. The bill came to just under £50 for 3 people which was good value.

I have been to prezzo many times

Having just been to watch the Lion King, we decided to eat at Prezzo. Warm welcome and quickly weated. Children's menu sorted for the grandchildren with activites for them to do with crayons. Good choice of meals available including for a vegan. Manager gave the grandchildren a magic show which really got them thinking. A great time and reasonable price.

Stopped off at Prezzo, our favourite, for a bite to eat. We love Prezzo. You know exactly the standard you will get with the yummy freshly prepared food. Tonight was a bit unusual. A stranger was going around the tables shaking a bucket collecting for a charity. It wasn’t a member of staff. In fact I now am not sure if it was an authorised by the restaurant or even an authorised charity worker. We were taken by surprise. It was intrusive and not what you expect when you are in the middle of eating. People seemed to awkwardly scramble for money as their meals were being interrupted. To be honest the collector could have even been a bogus person for all I know. You aren’t exactly going to grill their credentials with a half eaten plate of food going cold. But also felt embarrassed and that we had to contribute or other restauranteurs would notice.

Went for lunch on a Saturday and found the restaurant to be fairly busy although not overcrowded.

I am Italian. Ordered a carbonara expecting something close to the original dish. I guess i was naive.

My wife took me to Prezzo in Union Square for something to eat prior to going to the cinema for the evening. As with all chains there is a set menu and while the vegetarians seem to be catered for those of us who live a Vegan lifestyle or follow a plant-based diet are left wanting. Badly.

After a 12 hour tour of the highlands on a very cold summer’s day(9c), Prezzo’s set dinner at £13.95 for two courses inclusive of a drink and a side dish was heartening. The king prawn in tomato was hot, fresh and delicious. The sea bass main course was a generous portion. Skin nicely fried but actual fish slightly over. Selection of vegetables was really good: cannelloni beans, cherry tomatoes, peas, tender stem and cauliflower well cooked.

Took a large group here and the service and food was fabulous!!! Really accomodating at short notice would definitely recommend! Thank you all at Prezzo 😊

Shanu did an excellent job serving us and the food was great! Lots of choices of pasta and pizza and I was served hot and delicious!

We all had a main meal and a bottle of White House wine. The food was good and arrived very quickly. Good value for money and staff were friendly. With easy parking we will definitely be back again.

We had a delicious 2 course lunch in Prezzo - our 2nd visit within 3 months. Good food, good service - we won’t try anywhere else in this shopping centre as long as Prezzo is open.

We opted for just a main course each which arrived very quickly and was most plentiful. The food was very tasty but was more generous in portion size than we could manage. We could probably have shared a meal and still been satisfied. Lovely service and good value for money considering its location. Worth a visit!

Nagyon szép hely. A penne gorgonzola nagyon finom volt, a hamburger elég jól sikerült, viszont a chicken & asparagus rizottóban a rizs kissé túlfőtt, a spárga pedig 1-2 falattól eltekintve elrághatatlan volt. Amikor a vacsora végeztével érdeklődtek az ételek felől, megemlítettük a kissé kemény spárgát, mire a számlát kihozva a pincér hölgy azt mondta, nem kell kifizetnünk azt a fogást. Ez kellemes meglepetés volt, nem számítottunk rá, nem is vártuk. Összességében közepes-jó élmény volt.

We used Tesco vouchers here and had a great meal consisting of a hearty salad, pizzas and one burger. Our only issue was the fries. They were undercooked. Apart from that the rest was very tasty with efficient and friendly service.

When all that good teach more like a doughnut then a Prenzel to sugar someone a very good experience some people might like it but I don’t like it apprentices up on it you shouldn’t is like a doughnut

Great restaurant for the adults and kids. The children's menu is great value for money. I like the non-pasta/pizza options, so ordered the sea bass which was really tasty. Good value for money as there's usually vouchers online.

Almuerzo con 4 amigos. Tenía mi cachorro de perro guía entrenando conmigo. La solicitud de una mesa para acomodar cachorros no fue una molestia y nos dieron una mesa con mucho espacio. Un tazón de agua para cachorro fue dado de inmediato. El almuerzo fue encantador. El personal es amable. Buena experiencia.

Myself and my friend visited for lunch yesterday. Initially the table we had had a speaker above us and with a problem in one ear I was struggling to hear my friend. I asked if we could move to the next table to which they were happy to help and did immediately. Food and drink were lovely. My friend initially chose a salad but the waiter kindly recommended that she ordered another salad due to the quality of that salad. We both agreed that we appreciated him saying that. Have been to this restaurant several times and I love it!

This was my second visit to Prezzo at Union Square, the last time being around three years ago. There was no sign of tiredness, a very appealing, quality feel, a really clean restaurant that appeared professionally run and delivered on promise.

I do like the pizza at Prezzo's, especially the posh pepperoni, and made in Aberdeen just how I like it. Friendly service too.

My mum received a red letter day voucher as a gift for lunch for two people with 3 courses and a glass of wine. So I decided to tag along as her plus one. The set menu was perfect. The portion sizes were ideal, the food was delicious and the waiting staff very attentive. 10/10.

My husband and I visited Aberdeen for a weekend break. We hadn't booked anywhere for dinner on the Saturday night. We had never tried Prezzo and we weren't disappointed. As we didn't book we had to wait 5-10 mins for a table. The waitress we had was lovely. The service was quick and the staff were really nice. The food we were served was delicious. We would definitely visit again.

Went here after cinema and used a 50% off mains voucher code which worked a treat. Just as well as the wait for food was about 35 - 40 mins and the chefs actually came out and served it. Food was very good indeed but service let them down.

Server apologised at least three times about the wait without us making any comment. The restaurant was quiet so I don’t know the reason. Food was good. However when we came to pay and use Tesco vouchers we were told that we should have said this when we ordered and they were not acceptable. Clearly this wasn’t the end of the world but took the shine off the beginning and end of our family lunch. Prezzo. Step up. Serve your food faster and make sure you set out your rules at the start not the end of the meal. Yes we will be back but will look for better service.

I had a dinner at this place right in city center of Aberdeen with my friends last night. Really cozy place. The lightning & music will make you feel at home and some red Italian wine will push you to the other side of your busy daily routine.

I had been in Prezzo, Aberdeen. It was good service and food compare with other restaurant, especially kids loved their set menu, drink was included, starter was added with fresh cucumber and the desert, banana calzone with ice cream was lovely.

Had the special lunch £9.95 for a main course and a drink. My spaghetti carbonara was delicious and my friend enjoyed her pasta arrabata. Friendly, helpful staff. Very good value and will definitely be back.

Out for Sunday evening meal with some friends. Prezzo was busy but we got seated quickly. Menu has good selection of pizza/pasta and service was good considering how busy the were. Good price with voucher applied. Highly recommend.
