Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

The staff on this Pret went above and beyond to assist me on Saturday when I found myself unable to orientated myself back to Westmister and in need of a toilet. I have had coffees and food from Pret previously and always found it to be of good quality but the helpfulness of the staff in this store is truly noteworthy.

Coffee at Pret is usually disappointing. However here is better than most Pret. Good barista.

To charge £5.25 for a mozzarella tomato focaccia which is smaller than my hand, burnt and microwaved to within an inch of its life is frankly embarrassing... Very disappointing.

The high rating is given to the Barista Zala (no idea if it's spelt right). She's all the time focused, keeping an eye on the display about the upcoming drinks and restocking while the shop is relatively quiet. Patient and polite to customers' requests as well. I have visited several shops around the area and most of the baristas don't give a shxt about what they served you (cold or dead shot or wrong drink etc). I know how hard a barista's life could be, but you can always tell if someone is making an effort. Keep it up Zala.

I asked for a oat latte and they gave me a normal latte with full fat milk and I am also Lactos intolerant. Very bad service never again will I go back.

Not a fantastic place, no prober seating and no toilet facilities as far as I can see. I am not impressed. Very dirty, nobody seems to clean up after guests who leave all their half eaten food behind, food on the floor. I wonder whether the Health Inspector is aware of this place?

Good selection of food! Fast service. Sit in the corner and watch life pass by on Gt Peter Street.

Do not order catering from this place. I specifically asked for my order to be delivered by 12:00, as the delivery time said between 11:00-12:30. My order never showed up at 12:45 I had to walk to the shop to get my food. Completely unacceptable, i had a boardroom full of people expecting lunch at 12:00. And this is the 2nd time this place has done this to me. I will not be back, and i will tell everyone at my work to not order from there.

This place has gone cashless. If you want my money, you'll have to accept it my way.

They've gone cardless but most terminals not working. Food poor and staff acting like their first day on the job. Honestly, so bad it's almost worth visiting to witness the horror or laugh at the chaos.

Had a pleasingly heavy Ploughmans there on Monday. It was a welcome break, in a quiet corner, after the mayhem of the funeral. Quite a few Police in there getting refreshment too.

Eould be much better if you xan use cash

Went in for a coffee tables discussing, cleaner was there didn't clean at all the tables . Toilet out of order and the other full of rubbish on the floor ,no toilet paper people were using blue rolls to use the toilet. Totally disappointed very bad experience.

Every second coffee was a good one, sometimes a bit bitter. The acai bowl was really sour but overall good for a quick bite

Asked for a Delivery for 12 with cutlery and napkins arrived an hour late with no cutlery or napkins. they annoying part is they only had three deliveries for the 11.30 - 12.30 time slot that day. and when I tried to contact them after 12.30 for an update they cut off 10 times without picking up the call. Terible customer service

One of the smaller branches with the standard menu, same as all the other Prets. However we were able to get a seat as a party of 3, just after the lunch hour rush. Staff were all friendly and the premise was kept clean.

Slightly longer wait times compared to other Pret locations. Also, there is very limited seating.

Mediocre coffee and lukewarm tea. Nowhere to sit comfortably.

Quite busy, although there was a sense of lack of management, I was pleased with the service provided.

Popped in for a quick coffee before a concert nearby. Used the toilet and the lock jammed leaving me inside an airless and cramped room. The door was very stiff to close and had previously been repaired. After about 10 minutes brute force on the part of a couple of men who forced it open. I had to crouch over the toilet to get out of any danger. It was scary, a child would have panicked as would anyone with dementia or claustrophobic. Health and Safety rules prescribe all locks should be able to be opened from the other side. I think this was that type of lock but clearly it had not been serviced nor the stiffness in closing the door been adequately maintained and repaired. What I am more annoyed about is that I have had no acknowledgement to my email via a contact us form to Customer Service nor any answer on 020 78278801. Poor show Pret.

Lovely coffee, clean (also toilet), tap with filtered water to top up bottles to go (for free) available for customers - great idea.

There are only three prets in this area; hopefully the owners of pret will address this soon in order to give pret customers greater choice of venue

In previsione della lunga coda per entrare a Westminster Abbey, tappa nel Pret a Manger (ormai sono ovunque) più vicino per un buon tramezzino, un salutare succo di papaia e un discreto caffè lungo. Da tenere presente vista la vicinanza al sito. Comodo anche per i servizi a disposizione dei soli clienti e per la connessione wifi.

Polite, friendly and helpful staff. I recommend the bacon in a brioche roll for breakfast. I always find the food in Pret to be fantastic.

Great place to enjoy healthy foods; plenty of things to choose from, also vegan. Little bit pricy but worth it. Very friendly staff.

Food and drink were fantastic as always. Probably shouldn't lose a star for it really but there is very limited space at this location. However staff were fantastic and found a couple of spare seats for us so we could sit down.

Pret a Manger is amazing!! One on nearly every corner in London. A huge selection of ready to eat hot foods, salads, cakes etc. We ate here nearly every day, often more than once! Prices are great and I wish we had them in Australia.

Good range of food especially for the vegetarian and vegan customers. Price is fine, not too expensive and not cheap. Quality is good. The service at this Pret is efficient and well organised. There are some tables and chairs available but I think they fill up quickly at lunch times.

Better than Starbucks, Costa or any chain coffee shops you would ever think of. Fresh food. Fresh coffee. Fresh snacks. Just brilliant chain.

I can ALWAYS rely on Pret to consistently provide what I like.. It's infuriating when you are looking forward to a lovely frothy cappuccino, only to get a flat boring tepid facsimile.. Never happens at Pret.. 👍🏾

This is a quality chain that offers baked goods (croissants, muffins, danish, etc.), breakfast (oatmeal, egg wraps, etc.) sandwiches, salads and soups. Whether in NYC, Paris or London the menus are fairly standard as is the quality of the food. Two items unique to London were the Victoria sponge cake (very good) and the jam croissant (meh).

Great pop in cafe/deli for fresh food and drinks on the run. Coming from Australia was told that coffee in the UK was rubbish. I am fussy with my choice but there coffee was fairly good.

This is a small and busy Pret; if your hoping to grab a seat and do some work, this might not be the one for you as the are few seats and they go fast. Avoid peak times and you'll get lucky.

Good and fresh but I wish you could get the sandwiches without sauce. I had a chicken sandwich that was sporadically dressed. Lots in one spot then none then a lot.

I just went into Pret Blackfriars Road branch for quick coffee and emails before work. Asked for black Americano. Drank with lid on and realised they had added milk. I have a dairy allergy. They need to act responsibly and take more care.

Fastest coffee around. And tastes delightful. Take your own cup and Dave 50p. Great service is standard across all of their shops.

This is a great place to pop in for a quick, clean bite. If you are selective about your food, but want to keep touring, there are clean food options like fruit and yogurt parfaits, sandwiches and wraps with lots of veggies, and a variety of refreshing fruit and veggie drinks to keep you going. The only thing I did not like is that you had to pay more to sit down - really?! Take care of your customers, and they will take care of you by bringing their return business!

I love it.. All of them except the one next to London Eye which was very messy. Sandich choices are vast, warm wraps were great especially halloumi wrap as in photo. Good choice of salads and pastry. Mostly kind staff. Free tap water. Clean toilets. And good coffee and tea
