Pret a Manger in City of London, Westminster

Everything is good and their coffee is pretty good too.

Just like many of the chain cafés in the area, a lot of the got drinks that I get are luke warm. Its never hot, unless it's tea. The food is what you pay for. Easy and tasty. The staff are a mixture of really lovely and some are just okay. Sometimes I'll order 3 food items and I'll receive one napkin. Things like that. I'll keep coming to pret as i work nearby and its very convenient.

This is a place to grab a sandwich and a hot beverage. Just choose your sandwich, order your drink, pay and move on. Strictly utilitarian. Nothing remotely fancy. No atmosphere; none intended. Food is edible.

Fantastic that this place was open on Dec 25th! We were really struggling to get anything to eat, and on top of that we got three delicious sandwiches! I would recommend the Italian Prosciutto, Chicken Caesar & Bacon and Posh Cheddar & Pret Pickle sandwiches.

We would like to write a review here, especially to Jason who deserves 6 stars! We are tourists from Australia and were rushing to catch a musical show after just returning from a day tour. We quickly went into this store to take a quick bite. After grabbing our food, we accidentally spilled the whole pack of soup on the floor unfortunately. Without hesitation, Jason came to the rescue to clean up the mess and reassured everything will be fine, and asked us to grab another pack of soup at no extra charge. Jason didn't give us a hard time (even though it's our fault), he asked us to enjoy our food and made us feel valued as a customer. A simple act of kindness speaks a lot about his kind personality and work ethic. Thank you very much Jason!

Dirty, slow, not friendly, mismatched orders (bit scary if one has allergies), Very berry undercooked... the worse so far and I have tried many Prêt in London, in years.

At 15.02 Manager telling his staff no more people using toilets. Kids are there. That's a shame and poor management. I dont think that's is acceptable.

Came on Saturday morning. Good stock. Only 1 barista on duty so took about 2 mins to serve me to pay. Not the end of the world though.

Had a snack with my daughter. Food and coffee for me and hot chocolate for my daughter were both very good. Strangely for me I had a white coffee, only issue smaller cup than I would have expected. Easily solved I had 2. Good to see the manager keeping every surface clean, and tidy. It was cleaner than I would have expected with so many customers.

Friendly store ... the staff let you get on with things.

The team leader (short Asian girl with a green badge) at 19:23 wasn’t very friendly. Shouted at me when I put my QR code near the reader too soon and just seemed like she was in a very bad mood. Even when she handed me my expresso refused to give it directly to me. Just said espresso and placed it on a random part of the till so I would fetch it. Not sure if it’s the hot weather or because she was the only one at the till, but you could tell she was not having a good day. Not very pleasant.

Instead serving customers interested only having chat with colleagues and let customers waiting. So good luck!

This is a fantastic Pret. The staff are so warm and welcoming. Thanks Jason and Saul and Chris who served us coffee late night and were so fantastic.

I had a very unpleasant encounter at Pret due to the attitude of one male server, who had an Asian appearance, wearing a shirt, belt, and leather shoes. His demeanor was incredibly rude and impatient, and I felt discriminated against as an Asian individual. He gave me a hostile look and even had the audacity to throw a disdainful expression at me. This experience left such a negative impact on me that I have refrained from stepping foot into Pret for an entire year.

Service is slow compares to all other Pret that I have ever experienced in the past year as a monthly subscriber, and bad customer service.

Food absolutely fine but the toilets are an absolute disgrace. One out of order and the other was the worst in the UK I have seen for years. Urine everywhere and definitely not been cleaned that day. From previous reviews clearly the toilets keep being out of order well Pret DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEM . I am writing to the CEO of Pret as this is unacceptable. Goodness knows what tourists think.

The cashier was extremely rude.

Called in on Sunday for a quick coffee. All was well until we used the toilets. Absolutely disgusting!. No toilet paper whatsoever, urine all over the floors. It was a complete health hazard. Dirtiest toilets I had experienced for a long time. My main concern is if the staff are using this area then serving food.

Front of house OK, but the toilets are just awful, the manager needs to understand that this is critical, hygiene is the top priority of any establishment!

Service was slow, it wasn't overly busy in there ( pre show drink) asked for a black Americano and got a white one and was told that's what I ordered, replaced but served other customers first. Not happy.

Please keep the proper ratio of shot and milk in the ice latte. It's so thick since you pour shot too much.

Came at 10:10 with foodToGO for the collection , collection was due form 10-10:30 I’ve been told by lady named Natasha that she didn’t yet have expired food and she can’t give me food that is still in good condition and not expired while she was shaking shelf’s keep saying this one is still good , this one as well , i am sorry what ? This was completely disgusting things to say , she meant that she will be giving away only food that is have to go to rubbish bin ? I am felt like I am piece of sheet and not human and was begging for a food and not paid for it , such a humiliating experience, such a shame never experienced in my entire life and would never coming back at least this lady will make apologies in writing manner , this is unacceptable stuff behave , also lady refused to told me her name but I’ve heard how colleagues is called her .

Great coffee, fresh food excellent and speedy service. Just a shame no working toilet!

I stopped by here before my trip to the aiport. It was around 8:30 in the morning. I’m used to great customer service from every Pret A Manger that i been to however, here that was not the case. I ordered two cheese twists and two medium coffees. I asked the asian male behind the counter (cant recall his name) to please warm it up for me however, he insisted that they don’t do that and that it is warm already. That was not the case. It was very cold. Every Pret A Manger i went too always warms up their bakery items… Definitely horrible customer service as the worker was very lazy. I’m very upset about that situation and wanted to share my experience if corporate ever sees this review in order to fix this issue.

Entrare in uno di questi locali è sempre una garanzia di cibo curato e fresco. Ovunque in UK mi sono trovata bene ed ho consumato ottimi pasti a prezzi contenuti. Purtroppo in occasione della mia visita in questo specifico locale ho desistito dall'andare alla toilet perché le condizioni erano veramente pessime. "Merito" della maleducazione di chi mi ha preceduto, certo, però una controllata più frequente andrebbe data.

Tasty sandwich and coffee. Broken toilets. When you ask the staff about it, they start to laugh in your face. Hospitality level zero

The staff here are appallingly arrogant and rude. Zero customer service. The manager does not care at all if you make a complaint to her about the staff. Went in and a young male with black hair never greets customers nor says thank you. Thimk he is spanish. He deliberately cut the lid of my cup. The girl with heavy make up and glasses is very lazy. They both gossip about customers right in front of the customers. I keep making complaints but clearly Pret thinks that rubbish customer service and lazy staff are acceptable. Really arrogant spanish staff here. Rubbish management. Avoid

We were eating at this pret no toilets working, not smiling staff, I was asked to put the basket back, I should not been asked that cos I am a customer not pret staff member, the floor was very dirt, I am not coming here anymore but I will go the others pret were staff are smiling and give good customer service…

Nice big Pret right on The Strand next to the Savoy. Plenty of seating inside, food and quality as you would expect. Toilets inside and down some stairs. Two closed room toilets shared between genders but fairly clean for such a heavily trafficked area…

Sandwiches are expensive and too cold. Hot food is expensive ,salty and often dried out after hours in the warmer. Coffee is amazingly bad : bitter, thin , possibly burned. They clearly never taste their own drinks. Little pot desserts are good but £4 lol

Great service from lady called Vesna! Lovely woman with great manners and amazing soul. Always makes us feel at home. My chihuahua loves the vibes. Dog friendly. Coconut latte is top tier. Almond croissant is legendary. Tuna melt is epic. Highly recommend if you wanna shine a bright light over your gloomy day.

With all that seating downstairs it should be a good place to do some work but it's just too noisy and Internet is unbearably slow.

Too busy I had to wait 20 minutes to get my drink, & theres was 40 people waiting for their drinks. When I was 17 working in KFC we used to offer free chips or snacks as a token of appreciation for delay process. Not even sorry for the delay. I won't be going back to that pret

Izra has amazing skills and makes great beverages and Vesna has the best customer service I have come across amongst all the Pret branches.

Ordered 3 hotchocolates, and 2 latte's. All were lukewarm. When we requested one to be warmed, we were informed that if we want it hot we should say when we order?! The Hot hot chocolate came and was still warmish. I've drunk many coffee's and hot chocolates from various coffee shops and never have I received luke warm drinks and made to feel like I was difficult for wanting a hot drink.

Staff at Strand branch were telling customers the toilets were not working because of a 'flood' including the main basement toilets and the disabled toilet on the ground floor and so customers should go to the Pret on the corner by Aldwych. The Aldwych staff won't let customers use the toilets saying they are fine at the other branch and we should go back to the Strand branch. Seriously Pret sort out your toilets and staff. There is no justification for not letting customers use the toilet. I'm not getting a Coffee from Pret again!

Absolutely lovely place to stop and have a bit of food or coffee. Amazing customer service, specifically Vesna. Overall a phenomenal place to grab a bite to eat or drink.

They have nice sandwiches, wraps and baguettes. I also enjoy there lemon cheesecake. The only downside is it's quite expensive. My experience with the staff was excellent 👌

Friendly staff - I went in three times in the space of 24 hours and was served by Vesna, who was lovely. A busy place, but with ample seating downstairs. Food was well-stocked each time.

Awful! I went there to brag a coffee today at 11:20ish today the staff there were really rude to customer shouting for no reason, and when I took my friend and my drink the staff stared and shouted “is this your drink” I replied “one is mine and the other is my friends” she just keep on giving me dirty looks. Mate I’m just here for my drink no need to be so rude ok? I would seriously advise pret double checking who they are hiring and training them properly before actually letting them serve customers, the it’s absolutely a terrible experience today and the worse one from all the pret I’ve been to. Will not go there again! Not recommended!

I always come here for my Sunday morning coffee/breakfast and always have the best experience! The staff greet me by name and always make me feel welcome. Aaron and Vesna are so friendly and chatty which is why I keep coming back.
